Exhaustive and concise evidence of the connection of the UOC-MP with terrorists, as well as their recruitment of their own “power wings”.. (The investigation was carried out using the OSINT method and based on open data from the Ministry of Justice).
Note : The fact that individual priests and bishops of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate deeply and actively sympathize with the terrorists of “Novorossiya” is an open secret. However, in response to direct accusations of this from the lips of MP speakers and defenders, the refrain of the late Churkin usually sounds: “there is no evidence that we are there.” Fine. While colleagues from InformNapalm are publishing evidence of the presence of Russian troops in the Donbass, we will devote a little time to highlighting evidence of the connection of the UOC-MP with terrorists, as well as their recruitment of their own “power wings”. And let's start with the Zaporozhye diocese.
Several years ago, ominous rumors spread in church circles: in the UOC-MP, Cossack fighting squads were being hastily created in every diocese and almost every church. Allegedly, this event is taking place centrally on the basis of certain circulars from the Kyiv Metropolis - the legal leadership center of the UOC-MP.
And the supposedly official goal of these organizations is to protect the churches of the canonical Church from raider attacks by the unruly “right-wingers” and schismatics. And since the darkest assumptions were circulating regarding unofficial goals (for example, that the UOC-MP was actually gathering all kinds of “titushki” under its wing to participate in destabilizing Ukraine at the first green whistle), an irresistible desire arose to figure out what was really happening.
I can’t say anything about the presence or absence of a circular from the Kyiv Metropolis - what I didn’t see, I didn’t see. But the fact that everything does not look like an accident or coincidence is for sure.
Let's start with the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP. The choice fell on her not by chance. Since March 2013, the head of this division of the UOC, Metropolitan Luke (Kovalenko), bears the proud title of chairman of the Synodal Department of the UOC MP for the pastoral care of the Cossacks of Ukraine and the spiritual and physical education of youth (previously he headed a very exotic department for interaction with industrial enterprises and organizations of the Donetsk diocese) . In short, the chief of guardianship of the Cossacks. It must be said that Cossack organizations in Ukraine are a separate topic for investigation, and, God willing, we will begin this investigation sooner or later. In the meantime, let’s return to the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP and its ruling bishop. The investigation was carried out using the OSINT method and based on open data from the Ministry of Justice.
The schism deepens in the Zaporozhye diocese

At a meeting of the Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, the hierarchs expressed concern about the actions of the Zaporozhye regional prosecutor's office. The regional supervisory department, following the orders of the country's Prosecutor General's Office, opened criminal proceedings against the clergy of the local diocese in connection with the death of Evgeniy Polishchuk, an “inveterate boy” baptized in the Kiev Patriarchate (see “NGR” dated January 17, 2018). “Members of the Synod recalled that church sacraments and rituals can only be performed on members of the Church, that is, on those who voluntarily accepted the sacrament of baptism in it. Due to the fact that representatives of the diocese acted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and on the basis of the canons of the Orthodox Church, the criminal proceedings against them are subject to closure,” the press service of the UOC-MP said in a statement. Based on the precedent with Yevgeny Polishchuk, according to members of the Synod, in Ukraine “a new scheme is being introduced in the form of criminal prosecution of a religious community for the fact that in its activities it is guided by sacred canons and rules, according to which the needs of people from other religious communities are not met in the church "
Since mid-March of this year. The Zaporozhye diocese is subject to additional pressure. According to Ukrainian media, on March 11 this year. Metropolitan of Zaporozhye and Melitopol UOC MP Luka (Kovalenko) removed from service Archpriest Igor Savva, rector of the Church of Faith, Hope, Love and Sophia in Zaporozhye. Tele reported: Savva was deprived of the parish for his pro-Ukrainian position. “Father Igor prayed for the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and refused to commemorate the Russian Patriarch Kirill at services,” the TSN website reports, quoting Igor Savva: “If Ukraine was attacked, then this is evil, and the church cannot be on the side of this evil, it must have your say. Therefore, this is probably the most important topic on which complaints were made to us (the parish of the temple - “NGR”), especially to me.” In other words, the priest accused his ruling bishop of punishing him for his church condemnation of “Russian aggression” in Ukraine. According to journalists, the new priest appointed to the former parish of Igor Savva literally made his way to his parishioners through force. He was accompanied by aggressive, athletic-looking young men who refused to leave the temple until the parishioners called the police. After the change of the “patriotic” rector Savva to the “pro-Moscow” one, the parish split.
In the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP they see the situation completely differently. “The former priest of the UOC Igor Savva is banned from ministry because he prayed for the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and did not remember Patriarch Kirill during the service,” we read newspaper headlines. What can we say about this? Lie. No one has ever blamed Igor Savva for praying for the victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Moreover! I would like to ask Igor Savva, where was he when the clergy of the diocese, led by their metropolitan, were renovating a hospital for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine? Where was he when the entire diocese, in a religious procession with miraculous icons, prayed to God for peace in Ukraine? Where was he when tons of humanitarian supplies were sent to the ATO zone? Where was he when the entire diocese donated blood for children with cancer, when they raised funds to purchase medical equipment? What was Father Igor doing at this time? He drank tea with parishioners and discussed political issues,” writes Archpriest Gennady Elin, cleric of the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP, on his Facebook.
Ukrainian publicist Alexander Voznesensky reported in his article that they planned to ban Igor Savva from ministry back in 2014, when the priest and his entire family began to agitate parishioners for Euromaidan. The priest's son Anton is a youth activist of the Svoboda party (banned in the Russian Federation), daughter Elina sympathizes with the Right Sector (banned in the Russian Federation). The bishop, in fact, did not completely excommunicate him from the parish this time either. “No one from the hierarchy ever intended to kick him out. They talked with him, were interested in his proposals for catechesis, and asked him to take an active part in the life of the diocese. The fact that he was allegedly threatened and insulted by the dean archpriest Oleg Pleten and warned that in a week he would not be allowed to serve in the diocese, this is apparently a figment of a sick imagination,” Ukrainian media quote the head of the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP Metropolitan Luke.
"Radomir" - the power wing of the UOC MP
Here we return to the question stated as the object of study of this article. The search leads straight to the GO “Orthodox Union “Radomir””. This civil association (but not in the form of a Cossack organization) is quite rightly considered the main military wing of the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP.
To begin with, some dry legal information confirming the inextricable connection of the diocese with Radomir. According to free data from the website of the Ministry of Justice, the GO “Orthodox Union “Radomir””, legal entity identification code 39824725, was registered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs on June 8, 2015 at the address: 69027, Zaporozhye region, Zaporozhye, st. Stolyarnaya, 30. Founders: Timofeeva Natalia Vladimirovna, Seredich Maxim Vladimirovich, Kolodka Konstantin Alexandrovich, Litvin Alexey Vladimirovich. The head of the Civil Defense since October 17, 2021 with the right to sign documents is Andrey Yurievich Kabanets.
Searching for information about the founders gives the following results. A lady with similar data - Timofeeva Natalya Vladimirovna - ran in 2015 for the Zaporozhye City Council on the lists of the political party "Officer Corps" (yes, this is the same party, the founder of which is "Colonel General" Vladimir Ruban, who is engaged in the exchange of prisoners in the Donbass and , according to media reports, is related to Medvedchuk’s “Ukrainian Choice”).
On topic: If Ruban is also a general, then only the FSB
The second among the declared founders is the head of several enterprises at the same time (Naukovo-Virobnicha Company Naftogazinzhiniring LLC, code 35803188; MAZHPROM LLC, code 25478381) and is very similar to an ordinary sits-chairman, who, for a fee, is part of the founders or managers of various legal entities We could not find any information about Alexey Litvin. But we know who Konstantin Kolodka is. According to the official website of the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP, Archpriest Konstantin Kolodka is an active clergyman of this diocese and labors in the church in honor of the Holy Spirit in Zaporozhye.
This archpriest does not hide his political convictions at all and is unofficially considered the spiritual mentor of Berkut, which was disbanded after the Maidan. The scandal with his participation in the boxing tournament “in memory of Sergei Tsvigun, who died during the riots in Kyiv in 2014” alone is worth it. After this event, Deputy Chairman of the National Police in the Zaporozhye region Andrey Dolinny was deprived of his position. The video of this tournament was published on the YouTube channel of the Zaporozhye diocese of the UOC-MP, which says a lot.
Metropolitan Luke himself regularly attends events with the participation of Radomir.
