Elder Anthony was and remains a very mysterious person even for the Christian world, not to mention all the other inhabitants of the Earth. Moreover, the Christian clergy believed and continues to insist on this to this day that his speeches are poison for the ears of believers. Despite such harsh condemnation from the Church, among the Orthodox there are quite a lot of those who considered and consider Anthony a great saint and still admire his spiritual purity and wisdom.

And this despite the fact that practically nothing is known about Anthony himself, although the elder did not live in some ancient times, he received his theological education in the second half of the nineteenth century, but “well captured” the twentieth century, since he lived for more than a hundred years. According to the recollections of witnesses who revered this old man, he was tall (two meters tall), powerful, and with his huge gray beard and long curly hair he very much resembled a Russian hero. But the eyes were surprisingly meek and warm, radiating extraordinary kindness and love for everything and everyone.
Anthony's true name and his place of residence are still hidden: the time has not yet come. True, you can read about his views on this world in the book “Spiritual Conversations and Instructions of Elder Anthony,” and about his life in Anastasia Novykh’s parables about Shambhala, “The Bird and the Stone.” And although the author does not even mention the name Anthony, in the description of the amazing old man of Shambhala the image of Anthony is discernible, although Anastasia has never met this mysterious wanderer of the Earth. But what is surprising if it has long been known that writers do not compose anything, but only receive information from the Universal Database. The writer’s talent lies precisely in taking from there the most intimate and important historical thing at the moment, and then conveying it to the masses in the form of symbols that we understand.
They say that, despite the strict prohibition of the Church, thousands of pilgrims came to Anthony, many priests and monks were well acquainted with him, who visited the elder, talked with him and even left us their memories in the form of a unique literary work “Spiritual Conversations and Instructions Elder Anthony." From these notes a rather bleak picture of the future of humanity emerges.

All prophecies are divided into two categories: those that come true completely, and those that come true partially. Elder Anthony never considered himself a prophet.

The book describes two visions of Father Anthony. First, he saw people flying into the abyss:

...I re-read the Gospel, especially about the last times. The apocalypse haunted the question of the desert into which people should flee.
And now I see a huge number of people walking, people traveling. Some, it seems, are not going, some are feasting, others are fornicating, others are playing dirty tricks on their neighbors, but all the same, they are carried forward like a river...
Most people just rush forward, but some go quietly. On their way there is a terrible abyss, an abyss to hell...
It would seem that everyone should fall into it, but no. Most of the people, indeed, are flying down, I can see how they are drawn there, some by cars, some by feasts, some by money, some by expensive outfits.
And some calmly cross this abyss, even say, above it...
...It was scary. What came from the abyss was not just a groan, but the howl of those trapped there, and the stench. It's not just a smell, no.
There is no description of the fragrance, the fragrance is not from flowers or grass, but the fragrance of grace, that which is given by the Lord from relics, miraculous icons or something else.
The hellish stench is not just a bad smell, like the smell of sulfur, it is a feeling of horror and irrevocability, in a word - hell ... "
“...So, as I said, the second vision was not a continuation of the first, no. And in time it was much later, and in content it was also very different.
The first vision is a kind of edification, admonition, or something. I asked for an answer and received it. The second vision is of a completely different kind, properties, one might say.
I didn’t ask for anything, but it was given from above to see what the people who came to me asked about. If the first vision could be retold with more or less accuracy, then the second one is, in principle, impossible to retell...”

“The system of existence created by man, which is essentially satanic, because it absolutely contradicts the laws of God, will begin to break down. Planes will crash, ships will sink, nuclear power plants and chemical plants will explode.”
Anthony constantly talked about this, also mentioning other terrible and large-scale man-made, environmental disasters that will befall the world in the next (our 21st) century. It’s hard not to believe this when today we see all this with our own eyes.
About Ukraine
The elder is sad that this once glorious country has fallen under someone else’s control. And the false rulers began to lead the people away from Orthodoxy.
“You don’t see how you hurt your saints - martyrs and saints. They cry and pray for you. You reject your true faith by submitting to the French dynasty. You allow yourself to be controlled and do not want to rest in the waters of the Orthodox faith.”
And now the enemy of the human race stands over Ukraine, ready to deliver a mortal blow.

Modern New York has long been considered a “dying city,” which is gradually collapsing physically, literally sinking into the ground, and its residents into moral devastation and hopelessness. As for Los Angeles, as if mockingly called the “city of angels” (obviously the angels of death), it has long become the capital of terrible crime, unbridled prostitution and widespread drug addiction, so that it can not only be called a modern Gomorrah, but even necessary.

This is the kind of freedom that will be achieved. And it would be nice for the Protestants, they, at one time, also fought for freedom and against the dictates of the Catholics, and, having come to power, the same Baptists staged such terror and bacchanalia that Europe shuddered! It is difficult to add anything to what has been said, even from the point of view of the modern moment - everything is so. It is enough to remember the experience of our closest neighbor - Ukraine, and then be horrified that Russian liberals are pushing us to do exactly the same thing today - to take the path of Satan! What is known about him?
Almost nothing. In any case, there is no documentary evidence of signatures and seals. Only two books brought to us scant information about this man. Here they are.
Place of birth and real name are unknown. In one of the books on his behalf, it is mentioned very briefly that he was born into a fairly wealthy family and early felt a craving for the divine. I studied at the seminary, but the revolution did not allow me to finish it. Exiles and wanderings began, which ended after the war. But the trials were not over.
The official church did not accept him into ministry. There was nowhere to live and nothing to live on. But I was lucky: in some small town I managed to get a job in a firehouse and thereby earn a living. Then I got even more lucky. An old seminary classmate returned to him the supplies needed for the priesthood that had been hidden during his troubled years.
By that time he was already known for his holiness and the people went straight to the stoking room. Ask for advice, or even perform sacraments that are not always available in official churches. And ask about the future. This is how he became famous.
Elder Anthony about general depravity and the subsequent collapse of the world
“The first freedom that the demon needs, without which all others will crumble, is freedom of religion, so-called religious tolerance. The essence of this movement is to open a wide road, primarily for young people, leading to Satan. Note that this is a one-way road. The second freedom, which is also cultivated in every possible way, is the freedom of moral depravity. Corruption will begin from a very early age in the form of instilling a culture of the sexes and their relationships. Children will, and in some places this is already being done, be shown naked bodies, copulation, inciting lust, passing all this off as a normal state. Books and TV will be full of naked people and terrible scenes of fornication. Being naked even in today's clothes is just the beginning."
Unfortunately (we are already seeing this today), Satan managed to carry out his plan, as Antony predicted. And this is what will come of it in the end, he said sadly:
“And the one who remains alive will instantly envy those who died, for his fate is even more terrible - death from hunger and suffocation. The cities will be a terrifying sight. Even those that escape complete destruction, deprived of water and electricity, heat and food supply, they will resemble huge stone coffins, so many people will die. Gangs of bandits will endlessly commit their atrocities, even during the day it will be dangerous to move around the city, but at night people will gather in large groups in order to try to survive together until the morning. The sunrise, alas, will herald not the joy of a new day, but the grief of having to live this day.”
Anthony said nothing about how all this would end - the Apocalypse or, as many great prophets predict, the world will rise from the ashes into which satanic machinations have plunged it, and Muscovy will become the spiritual center and leader of this revival. It seems that he knew about the historical role of the Russian people, but he was in a hurry to warn Orthodox Christians about the danger, which is much more important than idle talk about the greatness of Russia.
Father Anthony was an ordinary fireman
People loved their priest very much! No, there was a church in the town, there were abbots, some better, some worse, but, as usual, they were regularly changed, and sometimes people couldn’t even remember their names! God knows and the bishop knows.
But there was Anthony the fireman! At night, visitors appeared near his stoves and asked to baptize, bless, perform funeral services, pray, in general, about everything that the Orthodox soul needs!
And he was famous not so much for his unusual fate as for his vision of recent years and prophecies about how and who could be saved.
Terrible earthquakes
Soon the planet will be shaken by three terrible earthquakes. The first will happen in Russia. She is under the protection of the Lord and the Mother of God, but lately people have forgotten about faith and are more concerned about material things than spiritual things. Therefore, punishment will be sent to them.
“The blood of thousands of martyrs will cry to heaven for mercy. The people themselves will begin to sober up and return to God. Finally, the period of cleansing testing determined by the Just Judge will pass and holy Orthodoxy will again shine with the bright light of revival in those northern expanses. This earthquake will lead to panic. But only at the beginning. Then the people will understand.”
A second earthquake awaits godless China. It will be so powerful that the Chinese will immediately understand that this is the wrath of God.
“The earthquake will be so powerful that preparations for it will be futile. There has never been an earthquake of this magnitude in China before.”
The worst will be the third earthquake in America, which will lead to an environmental disaster.
“But the worst thing will happen after this. In America. The destruction will be incalculable. Ecological catastrophy".
