Convent in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vsetsaritsa” Diocesan monasteries of the Russian Orthodox Church

Compound in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vsetsaritsa”

The construction of the first church dates back to the end of the 17th century, when in 1694, at the request of the owner of the village of Shcherbinino, steward Ilya Mikhailovich Dmitriev-Mamonov, the blessing of Patriarch Adrian was received for the construction of a wooden church in honor of the Origin (destruction) of the Honest Trees of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord (the All-Merciful Savior). ). From that time on, the village began to be called Spasskoye. In 1757, the village was sold to M.V. Sushkov, and two years later he built a new wooden single-altar manor church with the same dedication. In 1809, the new owner of the village, court councilor Pyotr Borisovich Belavin, received permission from the Moscow diocesan authorities to build a new stone church with two chapels. in a warm meal. Construction work was carried out before the start of the Patriotic War of 1812, when the refectory was erected and the temple was brought to the windows of the second floor, but military operations suspended construction: the temple charter was stolen, the design drawings were burned during the fire of the Belavins' Moscow house. Soon after the war, Belavin died, and the construction that had begun stopped completely. Work was resumed and stopped several times. Only in 1853 was construction completed and the Spassky Church was consecrated. In the post-revolutionary period, the temple was closed and workshops were set up inside. At the end of the last century, the temple was on the verge of extinction. Since the 1990s The restoration of the temple began, as well as the cleaning of the surrounding area. The first step was to repair the roof, and soon the solemn consecration and installation of the first gilded cross on the dome took place, which was performed by Archbishop Arseniy of Istra in the co-service of the rector of the church, Archpriest Stefan Pristay. In 2000, a zirconium bell was donated to the temple, and in 2004, benefactors from among the parishioners donated a set of seven new bells. By 2015, the external facade of the temple was completely restored, and interior finishing work began. The restoration carried out at that time made it possible to stop the process of destruction and revive the appearance of the building. However, the work was carried out without complying with the regulations. In June 2015, the temple was transferred to the courtyard of the Danilov Stavropegic Monastery in Moscow, and on this site, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', a courtyard is being built in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “The All-Tsaritsa”. A new life for the ancient temple began. Worship services are held regularly. Catechetical conversations are held with those wishing to receive the sacrament of Baptism. Currently, the Danilov Monastery is developing the necessary documentation and carrying out possible restoration work in accordance with existing standards. On the territory of the temple there is a garden and park ensemble “Garden of the Tsaritsa”, created by landscape architects of the Park of Culture and Leisure named after. Gorky. The courtyard in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vsetsaritsa” today is becoming an important spiritual center of the Moscow region, attracting pilgrims from other areas of the Moscow region and the city of Moscow to the Ruza urban district. Being an architectural monument of regional significance, the Church of the All-Merciful Savior has already been noticed as an object of additional tourist interest.

How to place an icon in the house

In the home iconostasis, the image of “The Queen of All” is usually placed next to the face of Jesus Christ. There is a rule that sacred paintings should be located in the eastern part of the house. For their location, you should select a quiet, peaceful place, next to which there are no household appliances, secular accessories, or attributes associated with astrology or other religions.

There is no need to excessively decorate the icon. The image of the Blessed Virgin Mary can be complemented with delicate fresh flowers or a beautifully embroidered towel. It is important to constantly keep your home iconostasis clean and promptly remove dust and other contaminants from the surface of paintings.

Important to consider! If one of the inhabitants of the house is seriously ill or immobilized, it is recommended to place the “Tsaritsa” icon in his room. It must be hung so that the face of the Mother of God is turned towards the sick person and he can turn to Her at any time with a request for recovery.

Consecration

In 2003, on April 5, the Throne of the lower chapel in the temple was consecrated. It is named in honor of Saint Nina, Equal to the Apostles. At the same time, the first liturgy was served on the Feast of the Annunciation on April 7, 2003. Since then they have served here every day.

When the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary arrived, Metropolitan Isidor of Ekaterinodar and Kuban held the rite of consecrating the throne in the upper aisle. This event took place on September 21, 2003. At the same time, a liturgy was served in the temple of the “Vsetsaritsa” icon.

The chapel of St. John the Evangelist and a cell building were built next to the temple.

The bells were cast in Voronezh and consecrated on August 5, 2002 by Metropolitan Isidore. Master Oleg Radchenko worked on them.

Be sure to visit the city of Krasnodar. The All-Tsaritsa Monastery is small, but very gracious, quiet and attracts you again and again. I want to plunge into this atmosphere and stay there longer. It seems that the laws of time have no power here, the breath of eternity is felt. Such understanding comes when the gaze is directed to holy images. From the name of the monastery it is clear that the main shrine of the monastery is the “Vsetsaritsa” icon.

Help for cancer patients

“The Tsaritsa” is known as a relic endowed with the ability to heal believers from tumor-like neoplasms, a deadly malignant oncology. There are many cases where the icon helped get rid of papillomas, benign cysts, melanomas, and sarcomas. The shrine gives strength to patients and their loved ones when the pathology progresses and requires surgical intervention, and helps to cope with feelings of despair, fear, and depression.

In 1995, one of the miraculous lists of the shrine was delivered from Athos to Russia. Today it is regularly brought to centers for adults and children with cancer, where everyone can pray to the Mother of God. Many documented cases of miraculous recovery are associated with this copy of Pantanassa. Today it is located in the Moscow Children's Oncology Center, where it periodically flows myrrh and spreads a wonderful fragrance around.

There is a special akathist, which must be read while kneeling at the icon of “The Tsarina of All.” This prayer has helped a large number of Christians avoid death from cancer, as well as gain spiritual strength to fight the fatal disease.

What do they pray for before the “Vsetsaritsa”

Prayers addressed to the Heavenly Queen in front of Her Pantanassa icon help Orthodox Christians in healing from numerous diseases. It is believed that the sacred image saves:

  • from any types of oncology;
  • eye diseases;
  • heart diseases;
  • lameness;
  • infertility.

In front of the shrine they pray for those who suffer from various types of addictions (alcohol, drugs, gaming). Our Lady is known for her help to children, so parents can turn to Her during a child’s illness, in case of conflicts and misunderstandings in the family, if they want to guide their child on the right path and raise a true Christian.

They ask the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary for protection from sorcerers and sorcerers, from devilish temptations, envious people, slanderers and ill-wishers. People experiencing torment, despair, and sorrow turn to the Most Holy Theotokos to receive peace of mind and hope for the best.

Most often, people talk with the Most Pure Virgin Mary while staying in an Orthodox church. If you want to ask for the healing of a seriously ill person, submit a note to the clergyman asking that the name of the sufferer be included in the prayer read during the liturgy. It is also worth ordering a sorokoust or prayer service for health. If you have your own iconostasis, in which there is a painting of “The Queen of All,” the prayer can be read at home. Wanting to inform the Mother of God about their request, they use a ready-made prayer text or address words coming from the heart. In each case, the appeal must be sincere, devoid of any negativity and negative emotions.

You can talk to the Virgin Mary any day. In order to increase the chances of fulfilling what you want, it is imperative to do this with the onset of the date when the Church celebrates Her sacred image.

What does prayer in front of this icon help with?

The face of the Most Holy Theotokos can be seen immediately above the entrance to the temple, where the mosaic “Vsetsaritsa” is located. Above the bell tower, on the facade, rests the image of the Savior with the Mother of God and John the Baptist, surrounded by the Archangel Michael and St. George the Victorious.

In Greece, in the Vatopedi monastery, the icon “The All-Tsarina” was painted especially for the temple. The meaning in which this image helps became decisive for the choice of the name of the monastery. As was said, the monastery was built near the cancer center. Where medicine is powerless, the Grace of God comes to the rescue. As you know, our Lord, Jesus Christ, being crucified on the cross, cleansed the human race from original sin and opened the gates of heaven for them. And the Mother of God “adopted” all of humanity, becoming the patroness of the suffering, like a real Mother. Through the prayers of the Most Pure One, God has mercy on sinners and heals their mental and physical illnesses, even the most severe ones.

Today, a very large number of people already know about the Cheryomushki district in Krasnodar, where there is a modest monastery, the patron of which is the All-Tsaritsa herself. In the image, the Mother of God is depicted seated on a throne with the Child of God in her arms and in a scarlet robe. The angels sat on the sides with their wings spread. Many cases of miraculous help from the All-Tsaritsa are recorded in various sources, even deliverance from witchcraft spells.

What does Pantanassa symbolize?

The name of the icon immediately evokes the feeling that the image has enormous all-encompassing power. The Most Pure Mother of God depicted in the picture is the protector of Christians, who always hears sincere prayers addressed to Her. The Mother of God has long been considered the patroness of the Russian land and all Orthodox people living on it. The Mother of God symbolizes unattainable purity, spiritual perfection, forgiveness and the desire to help everyone who asks.

Among church ministers, the image of the Virgin Mary is considered one of the most important, the presence of which is mandatory for every holy place. You can see the Divine Face in most Orthodox churches. The Queen of Heaven is present in numerous images, wall and ceiling paintings.

In the icon “The Queen of All,” the Mother of God points with her hand to the Son of God as the only path that can give people deliverance from sins, temptations and suffering. The scroll, which the Savior holds with his left hand, represents the Gospel - the Divine revelation given to all humanity. The right hand of the Messiah, which He extends in a blessing gesture, overshadows everyone who is filled with deep faith, giving true peace and hope.

The first miracle created

In Russia and all over the world, the “Vsetsaritsa” icon is considered one of the most powerful images of the Mother of God and attaches special significance to it. The first miracle was revealed during the life of the righteous elder Joseph the Hesychast, who transferred the icon to the temple on Athos. One day a young man came to the holy place, who, according to him, wanted to venerate the image of the Mother of God. However, as soon as he approached the altar, a radiant light flashed around the face of the Virgin Mary, and the pilgrim was thrown away from him by an invisible force.

After the incident, the man admitted that he secretly uses witchcraft, and came to the temple to read his spells. Thanks to the miracle revealed at the altar, he forever abandoned sinful activities and began to lead the life of a humble and God-fearing Christian.

Subsequently, the icon showed a large number of other miracles: it helped the blind to see, freed the possessed from the power of dark forces, saved alcohol and drug addicts from addiction, and saved them from premature death.
