What to visit in Korolev, Moscow region

This is a temple whose history began with simple open-air liturgical meetings.

At the request of the residents of the city of Korolev and under the leadership of Archpriest John, an Orthodox community was formed. She settled in the area of Cosmonauts Avenue.

At the site of the proposed temple, they installed a Cross and set up a small kiosk where everyone can purchase spiritual literature, as well as candles and icons.

Afterwards, a fence was installed around this place, as if separating the temple area.

The city administration prevented the construction of the temple because it was planned to build an ordinary residential building on this site

The Trinity Church community received its official registration only on April 3, 1999. The rector of the temple is Archpriest John Monarshek.

John Monarszek is a mitered archpriest. Name day - July 7th. It was he who was appointed rector of the Trinity Church in Korolev

In 2005, a decision was made to build a stone Trinity Church

In 2005, they decided to build a stone temple. The site was prepared and poured with concrete. All this was provided by the company of a very kind and wonderful person - Ashot Yuryevich Pogosyan.

He also donated mortar for the construction of all the walls in the future temple. The entire parish and church community expressed gratitude to him. Everyone is praying for his health and well-being.

On November 12, 2006, Archbishop Gregory of Mozhaisk laid the foundation stone for the newly built Trinity Church.

The new temple was built with donations from believers. It is only thanks to these people that the temple is open every day. The photo shows the archbishop laying the foundation stone for the future church.

In 2006, the lower church in honor of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God with the chapel of the Nativity of the Prophet John the Baptist and St. Spyridon of Trimythous was completely plastered.

In 2007, on the eve of Easter, bells were purchased for the newly built church.

Afterwards they were consecrated. Since Parental Saturday, services began to be held constantly in the lower church.

During the intervening time, the walls of the temple were built, as well as the drums for the domes. Windows were made and installed for the temple. Then they raised the vaults onto the drums.

The drums were raised to the vaults free of charge

After the construction of the temple, it was completely decorated and equipped

Gradually the temple was built through joint efforts and prayers. Now every year the number of parishioners in the temple is only increasing. Not only children come to Sunday school, but also conversations with adults are held.

The Sunday school is headed by the rector of the Trinity Church, Archpriest John Monarshek.

The temple is being raised, even though the city administration was not involved at all. There are bright, beautiful flower beds around the temple, which are constantly kept clean.

It is also impossible not to say what wonderful miracles were revealed during the construction of the temple.

Once they were drilling a well and thought that the water would only be suitable for construction, but the Lord arranged it in such a way that the water became clean, so life-giving that not only residents of the city, but also the surrounding area came to drink it.

“The image of Christ the Savior not made by hands” Icon kept in the temple

Recently, the church was presented with the icon “The Image of Christ the Savior Not Made by Hands.” Many people say that this icon is miraculous. They say that the Savior's eyes are sometimes open and sometimes closed. The donated icon decorated the temple.

Also, a large icon of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers, as well as icons of Blessed Xenia and Blessed Matrona of Moscow, were painted especially for the future church.

The rector of the temple himself also contributed his personal icon - an exact copy of the Rublevsky Holy Trinity.

It is a great joy for everyone that such a large and beautiful temple stands in this city.

The city authorities do not take part in the construction of the Orthodox shrine, but the flow of donations does not dry up, it seems that the Trinity Cathedral is being erected by the hands of the Savior.

Important! Ordinary city residents arrange the temple grounds free of charge, decorating it with living, beautiful flower beds and maintaining order.

Volunteer assistants on duty are ready to work with guests and in the church shop. From the first days of construction, the Lord emphasized His presence, for example, when drilling a well, they expected the appearance of technical water for construction and technical needs, but they received the purest spring water, which the residents of Korolev enjoy.

During the consecration of the temple, Archbishop Gregory of Mozhaisk read a message from Metropolitan Juvenaly of Krutitsky and Kolomna:

“It is significant that after decades of destruction not only of churches, our national shrines, but also of human souls, in a city that previously had no place for prayer, a new Orthodox church was built in a short time.

This is truly a fruit worthy of repentance. And it is deeply symbolic that your church is consecrated in honor of the first martyr of this atheistic era, Saint Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kyiv, and also that today the Russian Orthodox Church honors the memory of All Saints who shone in the Russian land.”

Metropolitan Yuvenaly is a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church.
