Are we worthy to approach the Holy Sacrament?
It is unworthiness that many believers explain their rare communion with the Holy Gifts. Yes, this is a really powerful argument. After all, this Sacrament can serve not to receive grace from God, but also to condemn.
But on the other hand, the less often a person receives communion, the more he gets bogged down in sin and the harder it is for him to prepare for the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
I know from myself: there are a lot of reasons. Either they called you to a holiday and there was no opportunity to fast, then you suddenly fell ill, or you had a big quarrel with your family or friends... Well, I’ll leave it for another time. And the devil will thereby find another reason.
We will constantly be unworthy, sinful, fussy. But the Lord, with whom we unite through the Holy Gifts, can deliver us from all this.
One friend often likes to repeat the phrase: we must always be prepared for two things - communion and death. How strong the first Christians were who took the cup every day!
Of course, a lot has changed since then. People have become different. The world has become different. Or maybe that’s why we are so weak because we are sinfully separated from God and are not reunited with Him in the Sacrament of the Eucharist? Is this why it’s hard for us to prepare?
It is not recommended to do many things after communion
On the day of communion, prostrations are not performed. After communion, you need to be especially attentive to your soul, keep yourself from empty entertainment and conversations, remain in prayer, reading spiritual books, and doing good deeds.
Only in this way will a person have life with faith in Christ. After all, the basis of our spiritual life is our relationship with God. And it is very important to understand that the most important thing to which all our ascetic deeds lead is life in the feeling of the presence of God, and more precisely, life with God.

The question of frequency is always individual. The saints point out that the more often the better. But you need to call Christ only into a tidy house, into a pure heart.
If you are interested in numbers and deadlines, it is better to consult with a confessor or priest who knows you well. The general recommendation is at least once a month.
Be afraid of one thing - strong sinful pollution and inviting the Lord into the untidy house of your soul. Both have negative consequences.
