Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God
- Orthodox church of the Balashikha Vicariate of the Moscow Diocese.
History[edit]
In the 1990s. An Orthodox community was formed. At first, services were held in an apartment in a residential building, but the head of the city, A.N. Khodyrev, took over the work of the temple builder. The entire city took part in the construction. In less than three years, the temple was erected and decorated, and on October 3, 1999 it was consecrated with a great consecration.
The main altar of the temple is dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the right side chapel is dedicated to the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, and the left side is dedicated to the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky. On the ground floor there is a baptismal church in honor of All Saints.
With the support of the management of the city hospital, a registered church was built in the name of the holy martyr Konstantin Bogorodsky.
In the center of Reutov, a chapel was built in the name of the Great Martyr George the Victorious - a place of prayerful remembrance of soldiers who laid down their lives on the battlefield for faith and the Fatherland.

Architecture
Since the Trinity Church in the city of Reutov appeared quite recently, modern technologies and materials were used during construction. The monolithic frame of the building is finished with brick and stands on a high stylobate. The outer walls are painted white. Five gilded domes rise above the temple, one of which is higher and larger than the others, which symbolizes Christ and the four evangelists. The architecture of the temple combines elements of pseudo-Russian and pseudo-Byzantine styles.
The interiors of the temple are modest and at the same time festive. The large internal area of the church allows the parishioners of our city to feel comfortable even during crowded services on major church holidays. The second floor is decorated with paintings and a large iconostasis.

History of the temple
According to official sources, the founding date of the Trinity Church in Reutov is considered to be July 20, 2008, when the townspeople celebrated the patronal feast day of another church, the Kazan Church. It was from this temple that the religious procession took place to the place allocated for the construction of a new shrine. The move ended with the installation and lighting of the cross with the laying of a stone at the site of future construction, which began only six months later.
The main initiator of the construction of the new temple was the mayor of Reutov, A. N. Khodyrev. As you know, the construction of a church requires significant financial investments, which were quickly collected thanks to donations from local patrons, entrepreneurs, organizations and ordinary citizens.
Construction of the temple lasted several years. The reason for this was the enormous amount of work associated with the construction of the basement and walls of the church. Only by the end of 2011 was it possible to install the central dome of the temple, complete the exterior decoration and landscape the surrounding area. The temple was consecrated and open to believing parishioners starting in 2012.
In the summer of 2014, the Great Consecration of the Trinity Church took place by Metropolitan Juvenaly of Krutitsky and Kolomna. Other representatives of the clergy of the Moscow diocese helped them in their concelebration. Three years later, Archpriest Dimitry Murzyukov was appointed Dean of the temples and churches of the Balashikha district and rector of the Trinity Church. From that moment on, the church in Reutov became the center of the Balashikha deanery.

Temple shrines
The Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in the city of Reutov is a place where Christian traditions are honored and the holy relics of the saints of God are venerated. The Church believes that sincere prayer before holy relics can heal a person, even if they are represented by fragments of the bodies of the righteous.
Like any other majestic temple, the Church of the Holy Trinity in the city of Reutov has its own shrines, represented by the relics of the holy martyrs. In the Reutov church, believers have the opportunity to honor the incorruptible fragments of the bodies of the Orthodox saints Alexander, Alexy and Theodore. In addition, in the church premises there are other relics that turned it into a real place of worship of God's grace.

Historical reference
For a long time there was not a single Orthodox church in Reutov. At the beginning of the last century, the city had only a prayer house, which was visited by St. Tikhon in 1919.
In the 1990s, an Orthodox community was formed in the city, but since there was no church in Reutov, services were held in a small apartment.
Only in 1996 did the long-awaited construction begin in the south of the city, and already in 1999 the newly built temple was consecrated. The project was carried out thanks to significant donations from parishioners, businessmen and various companies. In addition, the former mayor of the city took an active part.

In 1998, shortly before Easter, nine bells brought from the Yekaterinburg region appeared on the belfry. In April of the same year, a bell rang in Reutov for the first time in history.
The following year, the temple was consecrated by Metropolitan Krutitsky. Kolomensky Yuvenaly also took part in the lighting. Two more years later, the chapel was consecrated in honor of the Council of New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia.
In 2003, a new shrine appeared in the temple - the holy relics of the martyrs Alexander and Theodore. The Kazan Church also contains particles of the holy relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov and other Russian righteous people, including the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia.
To this day, the church remains the leading Orthodox center of Reutov. Numerous parishioners flock here from all over the city and surrounding areas to support the well-being of the church. Among other things, the Kazan Church continues to be replenished with valuable relics to this day.
