Ten Commandments

(
Decalogue
or
Law of God
) (Hebrew עשרת הדברות‎, “
Aseret-ha-dibrot
” - literally
ten sayings
[1]; ancient Greek δέκα λόγοι, "
decalogue
" - lit.
ten words
) - prescriptions, ten basic laws that, according to the Pentateuch, were given by God himself to Moses, in the presence of the children of Israel, on Mount Sinai on the fiftieth day after the Exodus from Egypt (Exodus 19:10-25).

The Ten Commandments are found in the Pentateuch in two very different versions (see Ex. 20:2-17; Deut. 5:7-21). According to Jewish tradition, the version contained in the book of Exodus was on the first, broken tablets, and the version of Deuteronomy was on the second.

The setting in which God gave Moses and the children of Israel the Ten Commandments is described in vivid detail in the Bible. Sinai stood on fire, shrouded in thick smoke, the earth trembled, thunder roared, lightning flashed, and, in the noise of the raging elements, covering it, the voice of God was heard, pronouncing the commandments (Ex. 19: 1 et seq.). Then the Lord himself inscribed the “Ten Words” on two stone tablets, the “Tablets of Testimony” (Exod. 24:12; 31:18; 32:16) or “Tablets of the Covenant” (Deut. 9:9, 11:15), and gave them to Moses. When Moses came down from the mountain, after a forty-day stay on it, with the tablets in his hands, and saw that the people were dancing around the Golden Calf, forgetting about God, he became so angry at the sight of the unbridled feast that he smashed the tablets with the commandments of God against the rock. . After the subsequent repentance of the entire people, God ordered Moses to hew two new stone tablets and write the Ten Commandments on them.

How to keep the Commandments?

Is it difficult for us to brush our teeth every day? This is the Law adopted in society, and we do it every day, without even thinking about whether it is difficult or not difficult. Is it easy for us to go to work every day? What about raising children, treating them when they are sick, staying up all night? What about caring for the elderly? Everything is difficult. But in everything there is a “difficult” part and a joyful one!

I think this allegory can help you keep the Commandments. The servant listens to his King in everything and is very sad when he could not fulfill his order. Likewise, the son tries not to offend his father by disrespecting him if his rules are not followed. Imagine now how much greater God is than a king and a father! And He loves us disproportionately more, because we are His creation, His children.

I think most of you already keep the first Commandments of God (the main Commandments). The hardest thing to deal with is small temptations - don’t deceive, don’t gossip, don’t judge, don’t envy!

It’s a pity I don’t remember who said: Learning to faith is like learning to play the violin!

Yes, it is difficult to keep the Commandments. Here's some practical advice. To control yourself, you can put a red string on your wrist. She will remind you not to lie, not to mention the name of God unnecessarily (in vanity), not to slander anyone, not to gossip, not to appropriate someone else’s property (this never benefits you), not to envy others, but to appreciate what you have. Know that there are many people who do not have what you have and would feel happy if they had what you have.

And one more thing: don’t forget to call your parents, take care of them!

Jesus Commandment

More than once people asked Jesus what was most important in His teaching, but when one day a Jewish lawyer, i.e. a man versed in the Law of God, wanting to test Jesus, asked Him: “Teacher! What is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus answered him:

1. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind: this is the first and greatest commandment;

2. The second is like it: love your neighbor as yourself; All the law and the prophets are based on these two commandments.

About love

Love is not an action, a method or a goal, but life in a special state.

Love cannot be “made.” Those who “make” love do not know True Love. Such people will definitely be hated after a while, because... earthly love (I don’t want to write “false”) always goes hand in hand with hatred.

In just 5 days, the love of the people of Jerusalem for Christ: “Hallelujah!”, delight, throwing clothes and palm (“willow”) leaves at the feet of the donkey on which He was riding, turned into hatred: into a hail of stones and cries of “Crucify Him!” .

The reason is that “earthly love” wants to receive, and “true” one wants to give. The first says: “To Me, Mine, I Want, Give”, the second: “To You, Yours, Take, To...” (Further with a capital letter: “Love” - about the True, Divine, with a small letter: “love” - about the earthly, worldly).

Love cannot be planned: “Next week we will love each other...”, it cannot be achieved, it cannot be acquired - the state of Love can only be natural. Love cannot be achieved artificially, but can only be experienced, felt, experienced.

Anyone who has experienced the state of True or Divine Love no longer needs blind Faith in God. At this moment he has the Knowledge that He exists! That God is really Love! And it is for this and precisely why we go and go to India - to Puttaparthi, because there we can again and again experience the divine State of True Love.

When Sathya Sai Baba tells us that we are also Gods, he means only one thing - the possibility of each of us achieving the state of True Love. It seems to us that, in fact, He came to Earth only so that each of us who is ready could experience such a state. Even just a moment of this feeling and you already KNOW that THIS is Love (and to understand the sweetness of halva, you don’t have to eat a whole kilogram - just a small piece).

For someone who has experienced the state of true Love, committing violence against other people and any object in the world is a great effort of will. For him, a state arises of the impossibility of hitting or swearing at someone, throwing a piece of paper past the trash can, or not cleaning up the poop after his dog...

True Love exists only in the state “here and now” and this is a mandatory condition, because only in such a state there is no thinking and doing, there is no thinker and doer, and one’s own will becomes as free as possible, merging, becoming identical, with the Divine.

Love is always “above” and “beyond”, i.e. always new, always highest, always impossible, always brightest, always unique, always irrational and illogical... But not “extra effort” - in love there is no and cannot be effort...

Love is always selfless, the state of Love is always self-giving and self-denial, always a sacrifice. Moreover, if you Love, then you definitely begin to deify your loved one and he becomes ideal for you. And if you don’t feel its ideality, you don’t love! Therefore, in Love there is not and cannot be jealousy - it is precisely a sign of dislike.

In a state of Love, your beloved becomes for you only a source of bliss and Ananda, only a conductor of Light and Truth, and you can have nothing but all-encompassing gratitude for him.

And if your beloved experiences Love of the same level for you, then you become united not only in bodies, but in hearts and souls, and you not only enjoy the experienced state of Love, but finally become internally free, FREE. And then the damage and evil eye ends, sins are atoned for, karma disappears, the action of cause-and-effect relationships ceases, and so on.

Therefore, life in a state of Love is the last step before enlightenment, before moksha.

Love is FREEDOM, Love is LIGHT, Love is TRUTH, Love is GOD.

Love is our only achievable and possible happiness...

But you can only come to True Love through suffering - there are no other ways to it, so may our suffering be blessed!

Cultivating global understanding.

Often people who take responsibility do not pray, and those who pray do not take responsibility. It is interesting that this hall, which bears responsibility for the whole world, saw many people praying today. And this is the need of this time.

Every religion has three aspects: values, symbols and practices. There is difference in symbols and practices, while values remain the same for all religions. The rise of fundamentalism and intolerance in the world is due to the fact that people are stuck only on practices, symbols or rituals. They forget values, universal human values; and it is very touching to see all the spiritual leaders of all societies gathered here together to nurture universal human values.

The Spirit loves variety. In this world there is not only one type of fruit, one type of people or one type of animal. The Spirit loves variety, so let's not limit it to a uniform. Let us enjoy the diversity of creation by honoring them all, respecting them and truly loving them. We are accustomed to using the term “religious tolerance”. I think these words are outdated today. You only tolerate what you don't like. Don't you think so? It's time to love everyone's religion as much as your own. The greatness of religion is not that it is mine; greatness is in herself. The understanding of this by all priests, preachers and those who lead people on the spiritual and religious path will put an end to the fanaticism and fundamentalism that continues in this beautiful world of ours.

It will be very good if together we all pass a resolution that will teach people to know a little about each religion in order to broaden their worldview. Undoubtedly, everyone must go into the depths of his religion; but at the same time, it is very important today to have an understanding of all religions. We all need to work on this. We pray and see the divine within us. Without prayer and meditation, which are the spiritual side of life, religion becomes just a dry husk. I often say that religion is the peel of the banana, and spirituality is the banana itself. Unhappiness exists in the world because we throw away the banana and hold on to the dry peel. Therefore, we need to strengthen this spiritual side of our lives.

See the love within you and that is meditation; see God in the person next to you - and that is service. Service and meditation go hand in hand. This is a great opportunity for all public leaders concerned about terrorism and fundamentalism to look back and see where we went wrong. What is missing in our society? How can we enrich universal human values, without which the Earth cannot exist?

The previous century was the century of uniforms and alliances. Now let's move towards the era of community.

With these few words, I pray and take responsibility, both at the same time.

Ten Commandments of God

If you want to enter into [eternal] life, keep the commandments. (Matthew 19:17)

  • I am the Lord your God; May you not be blessed or except Me.
  • Thou shalt not make for yourself an idol or any likeness, such as the tree in heaven, and the tree below on earth, and the tree in the waters under the earth; Do not bow down to them or serve them.
  • You have not taken the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  • Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy: six days you shall do, and in them you shall do all your work; but on the seventh day, the Sabbath of the Lord your God.
  • Honor your father and your mother, may you be well, and may you live long on earth.
  • Thou shalt not kill.
  • Don't commit adultery.
  • Don't steal.
  • Do not listen to your friend's false testimony.
  • Thou shalt not covet thy true wife, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, nor his village, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor any of his livestock, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

(Book of Exodus, chapter 20, cf. 2, 4-5, 7,8-10,12,13,14,15,16,17).

The Lord Jesus Christ stated the essence of these commandments as follows: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is similar to it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

(Matthew 22:37-39). So, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches people so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; But whoever does and teaches, he will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. 21 You have heard what was said to the ancients: You shall not kill, whoever kills, he will be subject to judgment. 22 But I say to you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without cause will be subject to judgment; whoever says to his brother: “raqa” is subject to the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, “You fool,” will be liable to hell fire. 23 So, if you bring your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go first and be reconciled with your brother. yours, and then come and bring your gift. 25 Make peace with your adversary quickly, while you are still on the way with him, lest your adversary hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the servant, and you are thrown into prison; 26 truly I tell you, you will not come out of there until you pay the last coin. 27 You have heard that it was said to the ancients, “You shall not commit adultery.” 28 But I tell you that whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away from you, for it is better for you that one of your members should perish rather than your whole body being thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast yourself away, for it is better for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.31 It is also said that if a man divorces his wife, let him give her divorce.32 But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, in addition to the guilt of adultery, he gives her a reason to commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.33 You have also heard what was said to the ancients: Do not break your oath, but fulfill your oaths before the Lord.34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;35 nor the earth, because it is His footstool; neither by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King; 36 nor by thy head shall swear, for thou shalt not make a single hair white or black. 37 But let your word be: yea, yea; no no; and anything beyond this comes from the evil one.38 You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.”39 But I say to you, Do not resist evil. But whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other to him; 40 and whoever wants to sue you and take your shirt, give him your outer garment too; 41 and whoever forces you to go one mile with him, go with him two miles. 42 Give to anyone who asks you, and do not turn away from anyone who wants to borrow from you. 43 You have heard that it was said: Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven, for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what is your reward? Don’t tax collectors do the same thing?47 And if you greet only your brothers, what special thing are you doing? Do not the Gentiles also do the same? 48 Therefore be ye perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. (Matt. 5:19-48)

  • Blessed are those who keep His commandments, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and enter into the city through the gates (Rev. 22:14)
  • Blessed are the poor in spirit, for to them is the Kingdom of Heaven.
  • Blessed are those who cry, for they will be comforted.
  • Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
  • Blessed be the mercy, for they will receive mercy.
  • Blessed are those who are pure in heart, for they will see God.
  • Blessed are the peacemakers, for these shall be called sons of God.
  • Blessed is the expulsion of truth for the sake of them, for those are the Kingdom of Heaven.
  • Blessed are you when they revile you, and ridicule you, and say all sorts of evil things about you lying to Me for my sake.
  • Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is abundant in heaven.

Nine Beatitudes of the New Testament

(Gospel of Matthew 5:2-12)

In addition to the Old Testament commandments, Christ gave people the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount. In them, the Son of God gave a guide to life for His disciples and Christian followers. Jesus Christ did not abolish the commandments of the Old Testament, but expanded the meaning of the ancient commandments, and gave people instructions on how a person’s soul can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The commandments of Christ were given to people not as a prohibition, but as an example of what a person should be in order to inherit eternal life.

In ancient times, when the Heavenly Gods came to the aid of the people of Midgard-Earth, in that difficult time, people begged the Gods to leave their Commandments, so that happiness and joy would not leave the Great Race. The commandments of God Perun are written down in the Santiy Veda of Perun. There are many Commandments, as well as the Gods who gave them, so that a person can fulfill all the Commandments of the Gods in his life, he should remember the Two Great Principles: to sacredly honor the Gods and Ancestors and live according to Conscience. Below are the commandments of the two Highest Gods, which should be followed.

COMMANDMENTS OF GOD RAMKHAT 1. Return to your roots and you will open the gates to the Divine World (Rule). 2. Do not enter other Worlds with your own laws, but observe the laws of that World. 3. Observe the Laws of Ramha the Great, be wise and perfect. 4. Do not follow the Darkness, but follow the Light, for those who follow the Darkness will perish untimely. 5. Do not listen to those who call for falsehood, but listen to those who call for Truth. 6. Do not listen to those who say that life is finite, for they themselves do not know what they are proclaiming. 7. Do not give the Vedas to those who turn them into evil and to the destruction of all living things. 11. Do not create false commandments and laws that go against the Laws and Commandments of God, for you will destroy yourself and lead your descendants astray from the Path. 12. Do not strive for other Worlds in order to capture them, for whoever has this in his thoughts can lose his World. 13. Do not think that many Earths are lifeless, there is life on them that is not visible to you, not felt by your senses. 14. May you not have other wives besides your own, and at any time, except in hard times, when the male race dies in defense of its home, in defense of its Land and its Faith. 21. Do not scold those who left your World, for only good things are said about those who have left. 28. Do not judge those who have strayed from the path of Light, but direct them again to the righteous path, for they will answer for their deeds before their Conscience and Family. 29. May you not be ashamed of what has been given to you by your nature and the One Family, but be ashamed of ignorance and ignorance. 30. Do not reject the unknown and inexplicable, but try to know the unknown and explain the inexplicable, for the Gods help those who strive to know Wisdom. 32. Do not take the life of your neighbor, for it was not you who gave it, but God; but do not spare the lives of the enemies who attack you and your lands, for they went against the will of God. 33. Do not accept offerings and rewards for the deeds that you have created with the help of the Gift from God, and for your good deeds, for the Gift of God given to you will be lost and no one will say that you are doing good.

COMMANDMENTS OF LADA - THE MOTHER OF GOD 1. May the firstborns of the Family, blessed by Svarog, be united in a Family Union in the Years of their Wisdom. 2. That of the wives who renounces her husband and his Family is unworthy of being a Mother and she will not know Happiness and Joy in her life, but only the bitterness of loss. 3. If a Mother renounces her child, born in pain, then she will not find peace in her Soul, neither in the Revealed World, nor in the Navi World, and the Most Pure Svarga will hide from her forever. 4. May any Mother put her Soul into all her deeds, and create Peace, Tranquility and Joy in her House. 5. May the daughter of God not renounce her duty to the Family and may she not renounce the birth of children beyond her Duty to the Family. 6. May only Lad and Love reign in the Family Union, and may troubles, hard times and losses not befall the Family Union. 7. Live, people, in Union with Nature, multiplying it, and not destroying it. 8. May the daughter of God accept her betrothed spouse into the Family Union, and love and honor him as God the Protector of her Family. 9. May the Son of God accept his betrothed wife in the Family Union and love and honor her as the Guardian Goddess of his home and the successor of his Family. 10. Keep your Family Unions. Sanctified by the Gods, in times of joy and in times of sorrow, and may the Light Gods help you, and may your ancient Clans be multiplied. 11. Take care, daughters of God, from childhood on your light brown hair - the honor of your clans, braid your light brown hair into wondrous braids, cover them with beregins. 12. Wake up from your dreams with the Clear Sun, the Clear Stars will guide you to rest. 13. May the youngest son arrive in Childbirth with his Parents, and may he support his Parents in the days of old age, just as they supported him in the days of his youth. 14. If in your glorious Family there are more than six daughters, then it is better for you to become related to a mighty Family, in which there are more than six sons. And this blessed Kinship of yours will strengthen your ancient and glorious Clans. 15. The more children there are in your Clans, the more Love, Joy and Happiness will remain in your Clans, for your children strengthen your Clans and lead them to greatness and prosperity. 16. Never forget, children of the Great Race, the Patron Gods of your Clans and all the Ancestors of your Clans, for all the Patron Gods and wise Ancestors of yours are the mighty roots of your Clans, the source of life and prosperity of your Clans.

STRIBOG'S COMMANDMENTS 1. May the Spiritualized Family Union be sanctified by all the elements and the Heavenly Gods. 2. A man who does not have children does not fulfill his duty to his Family and the Great Race, for his children are a continuation of his ancient Family. 3. May the Fire of your hearts and hearths not go out, if you live according to your Conscience, and not at the instigation of someone else. 4. May you not desecrate with your corruption the Holy Land of your Ancestors, which is watered with the Blood and Sweat of your Grandfathers. 5. Make it easier for your loved ones to leave through the Great Krody and the spacious Lodya, so that the Souls of your loved ones with the smoke of Krodny can ascend to the Most Pure Svarga to your Ancestors. 6. Honor the memory of your Ancestors with bloodless sacrifices, for what you sacrifice to them is what they will receive. 7. Do not destroy your Souls, striving for earthly blessings, for all the blessings of the Revealed World will not create the smallest benefit of the World of Rule. 8. Failure to fulfill the Commandments of many deprives a person of help from the Gods and his Ancestors, for only those who keep the Commandments and the Two Great Principles are helped by all the Gods. 9. End all disputes between your Clans with fraternal peace, and battles with enemies with a victorious feast. 10. Before creating your Family Union, let your heart always be submissive to your Parental will, for life without a Parental blessing is worse than bondage. 11. Do not go, people of the Clans of the Great Race, against your Clear Conscience and the ancient laws of your Clans, for on the roundabout Paths of your life there is no peace for your Soul. 12. Take care, people of the Clans of the Great Race, your Parents and the Elders of your Clans, for there is no one Kinner and Wiser for you than the Parents and Elders of your ancient Clans. 13. Do not create, people of the Clans of the Great Race, a free wind in your heads, thunder clouds in your speeches and a thunderstorm in your hearts. 14. Remember, people of the Clans of the Great Race, that the wealth and prosperity of your ancient Clans was originally contained in your small children, whom you must raise in love, kindness and hard work. 15. Know, people of the Clans of the Great Race, that the meaning of life and prosperity of your Clans rests on four ancient foundations, which are Faith, Conscience, Love and Will. 16. Create, people of the Clans of the Great Race, according to the dictates of your heart, for your heart is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and Divine Power.

COMMANDMENTS OF LADAAD 1. Let the Family Union, deepened by the Ancient Faith of the First Ancestors, be built on the great rule bearing the Spiritual Swastika. 2. Know that Harmony flows into the opposite Halls, except for the Swastichna and Trisvastika, for these Heavenly Halls do not give rise to Harmony, but to Mutual Love and Fertility. 3. Preserve in your great and small Clans the Ancient Wisdom of your Ancestors and the Heavenly Wisdom of your Light Gods. 4. The Highest Heavenly Truth becomes accessible and understandable only to those people who strive for the heights of creation, moving along the Golden Path of Spiritual and Mental perfection. 5. Protect, people, the Highest Heavenly Truth from dark forces and from ignorant people with sleeping Souls and callous hearts. For, having acquired knowledge about the Highest Truth, they will distort the Truth and hide it from the eyes of those seeking the Golden Path of Spiritual and Mental perfection. 6. Pass on the Wisdom of Creative Creation, which your Clans keep, to your descendants. And let this Wisdom pass from Fathers to Sons and from Grandfathers to Grandsons. 7. Preserve, people, the Beauty of your Native Land for the descendants of your ancient Clans, increasing the Beauty of your Native Land, and to the glory of your Gods and Ancestors. 8. Do not allow, people, evil and unrighteous anger into your Souls, for they will denigrate your Souls, and your hearts will become callous. 9. Do not listen to the voice of those people who say that the Highest Truth and Wisdom of the Light Gods has been lost. Because they themselves do not know what they are proclaiming, for it is impossible to lose what is connected with your Souls and Hearts. 10. The Sacred Duty of every man from the Clans of the Great Race and the descendants of the Heavenly Clans is to give birth to sons so that they become successors of the Ancient Great Clans. 11. The Great Duty of every man from the Clans of the Great Race is to give birth to daughters, for they must give birth to children to continue the Ancient Great Clans.

COMMANDMENTS OF NUMBERGOD 1. May those born in Ramhat bring harmony to all children born in the rest of Lethe. 2. Those born in the Heavenly Halls of the Virgin, let them not look for their betrothed in the Heavenly Halls of the Virgin. 3. Do not waste time, for he who loses a little time loses his Life in parts. 4. From dawn to dusk, create, people, and from dusk to dawn, rest, people. 5. No personal freedom or will can change the flow of the River of Time and duty to the Heavenly Family and your Gods. 6 . Know, people of the Clans of the Great Race, that the life of each creature has its own course of Time, and therefore do not take someone else’s life, for by disturbing the course of the Life Time of other creatures, you change the Time of your life. 7. If every person strives towards a goal in life, fulfilling his destiny in accordance with the flow of the Time of life, then his life will acquire the Highest Spiritual meaning. 8. Do not waste time, but fill your life with Holiness, and with good deeds, and for the glory of your Gods and Ancestors. 9. Live, people of the Clans of the Great Race, according to your Conscience, and may you find peace in your Souls, and may your Lifetime be filled with meaning. 10. Every event in Nature and your life occurs at a time determined by the Gods and in its own time, and no matter how much you reject it, what is destined to happen will definitely happen.

ONE COMMANDMENT 1. Let there be no Family Union between those born in the One Summer, except for those born on the One Day and the One Hour. 2. The greatest and most priceless jewels in the World are the Sword, Conscience and Wisdom. Everything else will not bring prosperity to the Family. 3. Master all the arts and ancient Wisdom that your Clans originally preserved, and also learn the arts and ancient Wisdom of other peoples, but do not teach everything to other peoples. 4. Remember that it is not a pity to give your eye for a sip from the source of Ancient Wisdom, for the one who knows the Runes without eyes can see. 5. Do not reveal the secret of the Runes to other peoples, for they use the ancient secret Wisdom and the Greatest Power of Nature against you and your Clans. 6. Each deceased must go to the Heavenly World on the Fire Ship or through the Great Fire of Kroda, and his goods must be ascended to the Ship or Kroda. For everyone must come to Volhalla with the goods that were with him at the stake, and use what he himself buried in the Earth. 7. The ashes of the deceased must be thrown into the waters of a river or sea, or, collected in a jug, buried in the ground, and a Mound must be poured into the Memory of the Knowing People, and a Memorial Stone must be placed over all Standing People. 8. At the beginning of Winter, it is necessary to make bloodless sacrifices to the ancient Gods for the harvest, in the middle of Winter - for spring germination, in the middle of Spring - for Victory. 9. Every real man from any ancient Family should know that Conscience and the Sword must be protected from childhood. 10. It is not permissible to forgive someone who deliberately commits evil, for evil that is left unpunished multiplies, and the guilt for the multiplied evil lies with the one who left the perpetrator of evil unpunished and did not bring him to God’s right court. 11. Always be persistent and decisive in battles with the enemy and do not let go of your swords, protecting your ancient Clans and following the eternal Right Path to the Halls of Volhalla. 12. Do not allow, people, the eternal fear of the unknown into your hearts, and do not allow stupidity and ignorance into your thoughts and speeches. 13. Every standing man from any ancient Family should know that only four Great Powers help the development and multiplication of his ancient Family: Clear Conscience and Ancient Faith, Sharp Sword and Hard work. 14. People repay good only with good, and do not do evil and indecent things where you were received with kindness and an open Soul. 15. Do not, people, repay good for evil done to you, for if you repay good for evil, then how will you repay for good? 16. Know, people, that every descendant of the Ancient Gods must have Ancestral Faith, a clear Mind, an inquisitive Mind, a loving and brave Heart, a clear Conscience, strong Hands and a strong Will.

COMMANDMENTS OF TARKH DAZHDBOG 1. Whoever has the blessing of God Perun for the Family Union, let there be neither Rati nor Fatta between them. 2. Whoever gives part of his Soul to his children has not diminished his Soul, but has multiplied it. 3. He who squanders Love will lose it, and he who radiates Love will multiply it. 4. Know, people of the Clans of the Great Race, that you must treat with love and kindness all living things created on Midgard-Earth. 5. Whoever caresses and warms an orphan child has committed a small deed, and whoever, having warmed him, given shelter and taught him to work hard, has committed a greater deed. 6. He who does not support his Family and his Faith in the hour of hardship is an apostate of his Family, and there will be no forgiveness for him all the days without a trace. 7. Let Conscience and the Laws of the Family be the measure of everything in all your actions. 9. Reject from yourself foreign thoughts and deeds that lead to the Immeasurable Inferno. 10. Read the Ancient Vedas, and let the Word of the Vedas live on your lips! 11. Save the lives of your Relatives and your neighbors and you will find help from your Most High Gods! 12. He who protects his child from creative deeds destroys the Soul of his child. 13. He who indulges the whims of his child destroys the great Spirit of his child. 14. The Vedas are known through the living Word, for only the living Word reveals the meaning hidden in the Vedas. 15. Do not destroy your Nature and the blood of your Clans, for these are two Great Powers that make it possible for your Ancient Clans to continue to exist. 16. Remember, children of the Clans of the Great Race, that a Family Union created without God’s and Parent’s blessing is not protected from suffering and misunderstandings.

Decalogue. Ten 10 Commandments of God - Eternal Law

The book “Returning to the Origins of Christian Doctrine”
Next >>
Chapter:

Today, many Christian denominations believe that the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments) is outdated, therefore, with the permission of God, it was slightly “corrected” by the church. I hope you are convinced that the New Testament does not teach the abolition of all

commandments of the Old Testament. Moreover, the ten 10 commandments are inviolable. To confirm this, let's pay a little more attention to them.

Let us remember that the ten 10 commandments were given to people on two

stone tablets. Attention: not on one, not on three, etc., but on two. Therefore, it is generally accepted that the commandments were divided into them as follows:

On the first tablet, the first four commandments reflected the relationship between man and God (Ex. 20:1-11):

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

2. Do not make for yourself an idol or any image of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth below, or that is in the water below the earth; You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, and showing mercy to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

3. Do not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave without punishment the one who takes His name in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy; six days thou shalt work and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: on it thou shalt not do any work, neither thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy livestock, nor thy stranger. who is in your dwellings; For in six days the Lord created heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them, and rested on the seventh day; Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.

on the second table, commandments five through ten were intended to regulate relationships between people (Ex. 20:12-17):

5. Honor your father and your mother, so that your days on earth may be long.

6. Don't kill.

7. Do not commit adultery.

8. Don't steal.

9. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house; You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

It is easy to notice that the first of the two commandments of the Old Testament especially noted by Jesus, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God...” is consonant with the teaching of the first tablet. Think about it, you cannot truly love God and at the same time have other gods (1st point), create idols, images, worship and serve them (2nd point), mention the name of God in vain (3rd point) zap) and not devote time to the Creator (4th zap). Indeed, God, through specific commandments, explained to believers how and in what ways people’s love for Him should be expressed.

Think about it, if there were no law, then each person could show his feelings towards the Creator in the way that seems right to him, but not in the way that pleases the Creator. Let us remember that the Lord compared Himself and His people to a married couple, where He is the husband, and the Israelites in the Old Testament, the church in the New - the wife (see Isa. 54:5, Jer. 3:1, Hos. 1:2, Ephesians 5:25, Rev. 12:1,6, Rev. 19:7). Now imagine that the wife will treat her husband the way she likes, without being interested in the feelings and desires of her other half. Will such a marriage be strong and happy? Of course not. This is what we see in the example of the Israelites, knowing how they repeatedly deviated from God’s commandments. That is why the Creator included relevant instructions in the Constitution of His law - in the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments), showing believers how important it is to correctly

to show your love and respect for Him, the husband of His chosen people.

And the commandment of Scripture, called by Christ the second most important, “Love your neighbor...”, is close in spirit to the second table, as it teaches relationships between people. Look at what Jesus answered to the young man when asked, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?”:

“You know the commandments: do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not offend, honor your father and mother” (Mark 10:17-19, see also Matthew 19:17-19, Luke 18:18 -20).

Here we see an incomplete list of conditions for inheriting eternal life, since among those named there are not many important commandments, including the most important: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Mark 12:30 , see also Deut. 6:5, Matt. 22:37). It is obvious that Christ did not intend with this instruction to give an exhaustive

a list of saving commandments, but wanted to point out the need to observe
all of
God’s law. Look, speaking about the conditions of the inheritance of eternal life, Jesus here quoted five of the ten 10 commandments of the Decalogue (Ex. 20:12-16) and other commandments of the law of Moses: in the Gospel of Mark - “Do not wrong” (Mark 10:19 - in OT Lev. 25:17), in the Gospel of Matthew - “Love your neighbor” (Matthew 19:19 – in OT Lev. 19:18). At the same time, Jesus began the enumeration precisely with the ten 10 commandments of the Decalogue. This lesson of Christ clearly confirms His lack of desire to replace all the commandments of the Old Testament, including the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments), with one or two “generalizing” commandments. If Christ had such a goal, He would have said so. However, as we have already noted, Jesus constantly quoted the commandments of the Old Testament Scripture, including the ten 10 commandments, and urged people to keep them.

After Christ, the apostles continued to proclaim the Decalogue - the ten 10 commandments. Paul spoke with respect about the 5th

commandments: “Honor your father and mother; this is the first commandment with a promise: that it may go well with you, and that you may live long on the earth” (Eph. 6:2,3).

Paul also noted the connection between the second table of the Decalogue and the commandment that Jesus called the second most important in the law of Moses:

“The commandments: do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not covet someone else’s and all the others are contained in this word: love your neighbor as yourself

"(Rom. 13:9).

In previous chapters we saw that many of the commandments of the Old Testament were fulfilled by Christ. However, the commandments of the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments) remained among those in force. Moreover, ten of the 10 commandments are immutable

the law of God. In the chapter “God's Law” we have already noted that in relation to the Decalogue the Lord in His Word uses only the substantive epithets revelation, covenant, testimony. We also compared the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments) with the Constitution established by the Creator. All this allows us to conclude that the ten 10 commandments of the Decalogue will not lose their relevance in the future - in the eternal life promised by God. There is plenty of evidence for this claim in the Bible, some of which we will look at now and some of which we will look at in later chapters of this book.

God Himself especially highlighted

Decalogue (ten 10 commandments) from the Law of Moses, thereby showing its immutability. Otherwise, why did He do it? Only ten 10 commandments were written personally by God (see Exod. 32:16, Deut. 5:22), only ten 10 commandments were not on scrolls, but on stone - an eternal carrier of information, and they were made twice (see Exod. 34:1, Deut. 10:1,2,4), only ten 10 commandments were constantly in the ark (see 1 Kings 8:9, 2 Chron. 5:10, Heb. 9:4), over which he appeared Lord (see Ex. 25:22, Ex. 30:6, Lev. 16:2, Num. 7:89). Let us remember that the law of Moses, written on scrolls, lay next to the ark (see Deut. 31:26).

The question of the importance of the ten 10 commandments can be approached from another angle. We will discuss the concept of “holiness” in detail later, but for now let’s analyze the text of the Bible for the holiness of the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments). According to the Holy Scriptures, there was only one saint

the city of Jerusalem (see Neh. 11:1), in it there was
one holy
mountain Zion (see Ps. 2:6, Isa. 10:32), on this mountain stood
the only

holy
on Earth (see . Ps. 5:8), in this temple there was
a holy
compartment (see Heb. 9:2), in it there was another compartment -
the holy of holies
(see Heb. 9:3), and in this holy of holies stood
a saint
the ark of the covenant (see 1 Kings 8:6, 2 Chron. 35:3).
Next to the ark was a scroll of the law of Moses (see Deut. 31:26). What was the value of the Ark of the Covenant? Of course, what was important to God was not the casket itself, nor the stones lying in it, but the ten 10 commandments written on them. Thus, according to the Holy Scriptures, the center of everything holy
on Earth was God’s law, and its “epicenter” was
the Decalogue - the ten 10 commandments .
The earthly temple and the commandments of the law of Moses associated with serving in it ceased to exist, having been fulfilled in Jesus. And the current ones

the commandments of God's law remain
holy
to this day. And of course, first of all, the Decalogue - the ten 10 commandments. Let us remember how the Apostle Paul spoke about the commandments of God:

«The law is holy

and
the commandment is holy
” (Rom. 7:12).

Christians who belittle the importance of the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments) often refer to the words of the Apostle Paul from the 3rd chapter of the Second Epistle to the Corinthians (see below 2 Cor. 3:7), where he speaks of stone tablets as deadly letters

.
In the chapters “Sin and the Law”, “The Law Embedded in the Heart. Grace” we have already discussed the relationship between the commandments and sin. Indeed, the law of Moses “condemned” man “to death” according to the commandment “The soul that sinneth shall die” (Ezek. 18:4, see also Gen. 3:17,19, Heb. 9:22, Rom. 6:23 , James 1:15). And the grace of forgiveness now justifies the sinner by imputing the righteousness of Christ to him (see 1 Pet. 3:18, 2 Cor. 5:21, Philip. 3:9, Rom. 3:21,22, Rom. 5:17, Rom. 10:4, as well as the chapter “Justification by Faith. Faith and Works”). Of course, the Epistle to the Corinthians speaks of the deadly nature of the letters
of the Decalogue with the same meaning.

If you carefully read this letter of Paul in its entirety, it will be clear that the apostle here is not talking about the abolition of the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments). He explains that, unlike in previous times, there is no longer so much writing, but Christians themselves should be a living letter from the Lord, an example for other people: “ You are our letter,

written in our hearts, recognized and read by all people;
you show by yourselves
that
you are a letter
of Christ,
through our ministry written
not
with ink,
but with the Spirit of the living God,
not on tablets of stone
, but
on tablets of flesh of the heart
” (2 Cor. 3:2,3).

Above, we have already talked about the law of God, which must be written in the heart, and about the new spirit of a Christian. That is, here Paul repeats the same thoughts, giving them a different form and accompanying them with new examples. The Apostle compares the Jewish clergy - ministers of the “letter”, with Christians - ministers of the “spirit” (see 2 Cor. 3:6), contrasting a system of numerous rules with a heart always open to the guidance of the Spirit of God. Therefore Paul says:

"If the service of deadly letters

written on the stones was so
glorious
that the children of Israel could not look at the face of Moses because the glory of his face was passing away, then should not

the ministry of the spirit

be more ? (2 Cor. 3:7,8)

“Ministry of deadly letters” here refers not only to the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments), since just above Paul mentions the ink (see above 2 Cor. 3:3) with which the scrolls of the law were written. We are talking in general about the law of Moses, which pointed to the “killing” sin, in comparison with the grace of God revealed through Christ, which can justify the sinner and cleanse

him
from all unrighteousness
(see 1 John 1:9).
The apostle calls the covenant concluded on Mount Sinai glorious
(see above 2 Cor. 3:7), despite the fact that the New Testament, based on Jesus,
is more glorious
than the previous one. Paul goes on to emphasize this again:

"The passing is glorious

much
more gloriously
does it remain” (2 Cor. 3:11).

However, not everyone accepted the spirit of the New Testament. Many Jews covered their hearts, which Paul went on to compare to the veil of Moses (see 2 Cor. 3:13-16). Then at Mount Sinai, after Moses recounted the words of the Lord to the children of Israel and his face shone, he covered his head with a veil so that people would not see the fading of the Glory of God (see Exodus 34:30-35). So now, with the coming of Christ, the Jews did not want to get rid of such a veil from their hearts, which did not allow them to see the fading of the glory of the Old Testament. Only from the hearts of those who saw the fulfillment of the law in Jesus was this veil removed.

Look, in the letter to the Hebrews it is described in detail that Jesus, in the form of a sacrifice and at the same time a High Priest, entered the true

the heavenly temple, in the image of which the earthly tabernacle was made:

"For Christ has entered

not into
a sanctuary made with hands,
built in the image of the true, but into
heaven
... He... appeared to put away sin

His sacrifice

"We have such a High Priest

Who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in
heaven
, and is
the minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle
, which the Lord pitched, and not man” (Heb. 8:1,2, see also Mark 16:19, Matt. 26:64, Luke. 22:69, Acts 7:55, 1 Pet 3:22, Rom 8:34, Eph 1:20, Col 3:1, Heb 1:3, Heb 10:12, Zech 6 :12,13, Rev. 3:21).

That is, the earthly tabernacle was only an image of the true

heavenly sanctuary. The structure of the tabernacle was shown to Moses by God on Mount Sinai: “Build the tabernacle according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mount” (Exodus 26:30, see also Exodus 25:9,40, 1 Chron 28:19).

The true heavenly temple is described in the book of Revelation, which tells the end of the history of modern Earth. John saw in him Jesus and the objects that corresponded to the furniture of the earthly sanctuary: “seven golden lampstands” (Rev. 1:12 - Exod. 37:23), “golden altar” (Rev. 8:3 - Exod. 40:5) and the ark of the covenant: “And the temple

God
in heaven

His

covenant appeared in
His temple” (Rev. 11:19 – Ex. 25:10,21).

In the earthly ark, as we know, there were tablets with the ten 10 commandments. This means that they must also be in the heavenly temple. After all, if the earthly temple was an image of the heavenly, as we see, together with the utensils, then the contents of the ark in heaven and earth should be similar to each other. If we take into account the immutability of God and His law (see the chapter “God is immutable”), as well as the fact that a little further in Revelation the importance of keeping God’s commandments is proclaimed (see below Rev. 12:17, Rev. 14:12), then we can assert: in the heavenly temple where Christ entered, there are the same ten 10 commandments, to which many today pay insufficient attention, observing them selectively or with amendments. Otherwise, if the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments) is no longer important, then what does the ark do in the heavenly temple, why does it appear to people at the end of the life of the modern Earth, and why does the book of Revelation proclaim the need for Christians to keep the commandments of God?

The Apostle John predicted that immediately before the Second Coming of Christ, which marks the beginning of judgment on humanity, Satan will wage war “against those who keep the commandments of God.”

and having the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 12:17, see also Rev. 14:12). These texts show that there will be two distinguishing marks of Satan's enemies:

1) keeping the commandments

God's

2) presence of the testimony of Jesus.

Here two independent concepts are clearly outlined together: the commandments of God the Father, of course, including the Decalogue (ten 10 commandments), and faith in His Son Jesus Christ.

At the end of the book of Revelation, on the last page of the Bible, the Lord again proclaims the commandments

, linking their observance with the inheritance of eternal life:

“Blessed are they who keep His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter into the city (Heavenly Jerusalem – Author’s note) through the gates” (Rev. 22:14).

Traditional understanding in Judaism

3. Do not take the name of the Lord your God in vain

[in the Jewish tradition it is translated as “falsely” - that is, during an oath],
for the Lord will not leave without punishment the one who takes His name in vain
[falsely].

6. Don't kill

. In the original: "לֹא תִרְצָח". The verb used "תִרְצָח" denotes immoral premeditated murder (English: "murder"), as opposed to any killing at all, such as by accident, in self-defense, during war or by court order (English: "kill"). (Since the Bible itself ascribes murder to judgment as a result of the violation of certain commandments, this verb cannot mean murder at all, under any circumstances.)

7. Don't commit adultery

[in Jewish tradition this word refers only to sexual relations between a married woman and a man other than her husband]. According to another opinion, this commandment includes all the so-called “prohibitions of incest,” including incest and bestiality.

8. “Don’t steal.” According to Jewish tradition, this commandment applies exclusively to the kidnapping of a person, since the prohibition of theft of property is contained in the tenth commandment.

10. “You shall not covet...” This commandment includes the prohibition of stealing property. According to Jewish tradition, theft is also “theft of an image,” i.e. creating a false idea about an object, event, person (deception, flattery, etc.).
