When was Jesus Christ born? Is the exact date known and which is correct - December 25 or January 7 according to the Bible? A friend of mine has a theologian friend who says that Jesus Christ was actually born on December 25th.

When was Jesus Christ born?
To be honest, I don’t know the exact date when Jesus Christ was born. I believe that no one alive knows the date of birth of Jesus Christ. The Bible did not record this date. No other ancient document did this. The evidence from the early church is that the date of Christmas was chosen not because it was the actual date of Jesus' birth, but because it coincided with Saturnalia, a pagan festival rival to the Christian holiday of Christmas.
