About the origin of nationalities and what rudeness is

One of the most remarkable and at the same time terrifying stories in the Bible is when a flood occurred on earth, taking away many lives.

The scale of this disaster makes us wonder about its causes. Life is so fragile and precious that it is worth preserving what the Creator has entrusted to us.

After all, according to the Bible, we are created in the image and likeness of God. We are creatures who are like Our Creator and created to do good works.

So why did the flood happen? Why were only eight souls saved, what made them special? What role did Noah and his children play in human history?

Cause of the flood

The only reason for the flood is that man allowed himself to be corrupted by sin. The earth was filled with atrocities, and disobedience to the Creator led to the fall of all mankind.

Man himself decided who to serve, who to listen to and how to live, since God gave everyone choice and free will.

The Bible says that every intent of the thoughts of man's heart is always evil (Genesis 6:5). Society has descended to the very bottom of perversion; life is worthless. The depravity of man had reached its limit - such concepts as kindness, decency, mercy, meekness were completely absent.

The Lord repented that he had created man and was grieved in His heart. The Creator decided to destroy His creation and, along with it, all animals, birds and reptiles.

Only eight souls were saved (Noah, his wife and three sons with their wives) and animals of different pairs.

Genealogy of Jesus Christ from Adam

In Luke, so-called The pedigree is incredibly terribly written. It is distorted and confused beyond explanation. But we will still try to clarify this situation.

Did God give birth to Jesus?

Firstly, God is not a man and does not give birth like humans, or like cuckoos. This is blasphemy. However, in Luke's genealogy, we see that even God is included in the genealogy! This is absurd, nonsense, heresy, or whatever else you can call it. Only Christians could liken God to man and include Him in the genealogy. Therefore, the genealogy from Luke is the work of illiterate Christian scribes.

Further, if God gave birth to Jesus, then Jesus is no longer the eternal God of Christians, because there was a day on which Christ was born - God gave birth to Jesus Christ. Accordingly, before his birth, Jesus Christ did not exist. How can Christians explain this?

We must understand that Luke, as a person who carefully researched the events related to Yeshua and the first community, and therefore, he could not write such a heresy. Why did Christians distort its text? - No answer. How then to explain the Christian version of genealogy? What Christians themselves say about this.

Pedigree from Mary

The pedigree was never by mothers. This is an anti-biblical view and should not be taken into account as a biblical teaching at all. It is simply meaningless and cannot represent any value. Only an ignorant, a heretic could come up with such an idea.

Pedigree of priests

There is another Christian version that Luke allegedly wrote down the priestly genealogy of Jesus Christ. The priestly genealogy was traced back to Levi. Jesus Christ was from the tribe of Judah to become a different high priest, not from the transitory Levitical priesthood. So this version is nonsense and heresy.

The Christian version is not convincing; moreover, it is heretical. The Jewish Messiah does not have any other or backup genealogy. The genealogy of Luke in the Christian Bible can be called the “Filka genealogy” because it does not correspond to the genealogy of Jesus Christ from a tanachic point of view.

Why Noah and his children

The answer is simple. Noah was the only righteous and blameless man to walk with God (Gen. 6:9). This means that Noah's thoughts were pure, without any evil thoughts.

The Bible talks about how he loved, honored and respected the Creator - his obedience to God was great. This connection with God helped to cope with sin, to be who he was.

Noah had three sons: Shem, Japheth, Ham. It can be assumed that Noah raised his children in reverence, respect and obedience to the Creator. But, unfortunately, righteousness and integrity are not inherited - everyone chooses for themselves whether to be a good or a bad person.

Sim

So Shem, which means “name,” is Noah’s firstborn. He is the only son who followed his father's example. The descendants of Shem worshiped the Lord, revered and respected the Creator.

This belongs to the race from which, according to the flesh, Jesus Christ comes. The same Christ who will take away the sins of the whole world will be crucified and resurrected.

The descendants of Shem are Jews, Arabs, and Assyrians. His sons: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram (Genesis 10:21-22).

Japheth

Japheth is the second son of Noah, which means "extension." Japheth's descendants settled Europe.

His sons - Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras (Genesis 10:2) became the ancestors of the tribes and peoples of Rus', Ugra, Lithuania, Prussians, Varangians, Romans, Germans, etc.

Ham

Ham is the third son of Noah, and means "hot." The descendants of Ham are the peoples of North and East Africa, the Egyptians, Libyans, Ethiopians, Phoenicians, Philistines, etc.

The Bible story describes how Ham did not show due respect to his father, for which Noah cursed Ham's son Canaan, predicting his future (Genesis 9:18-27): Canaan will be a slave to his brothers, which subsequently happened.

The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Puth, Canaan (Gen. 10:6).

Genealogy of Jesus Christ from Abraham

In Matthew (Mattityahu) we meet the genealogy of Jesus Christ from Abraham. For Christians, as mentioned above, the genealogy of the Messiah is an empty phrase. They don't know what it is for or what role it plays in the Bible. However, Matthew begins his story with a genealogy.

Why is he doing this? Because all tanakhic chroniclers kept such records. The genealogy begins with the first Jew - Abraham, then it goes to the tribe of Judah to David, from David to Solomon, from Solomon to Zerubbabel (Zerubbabel). This is extremely important. Therefore, Matthew, as a Jew, wrote it not just like that, but as an argument - tanachic proof that Yeshua is the son of Abraham and the son of David.

Zerubbabel was chosen by the Most High so that from him would come the deliverer of Israel, who would crush the nations and establish a kingdom on earth.

The descendants of Zarobbabel, of course, are named incorrectly in Matthew. This is the work of Christian scribes. For what purpose the scribes distorted it remains unclear. They may not have been able to correctly pronounce Hebrew names that were unfamiliar to them. Therefore, we decided to simplify them in our Greek language. As a result, we see that these are not at all the names that are recorded in the genealogy of Zerubbabel.

David Stern's Hebrew New Testament has the same problem because he used corrupted Greek texts without resorting to the preserved genealogy in the Tanakh.

Noah's son - Japheth

Before the flood, Japheth had no children, but after that he had 7 sons. His descendants populated the territory of Europe and Middle East Asia. This gives the right to consider Japheth as the forefather of the Slavic tribes that historically inhabited these lands. Jewish historian Josephus describes:

“Noah’s son Japheth had seven sons. The latter settled, starting from the Taurus and Aman mountains [northern Syria] to the Tanais River [Northern Donets], and across Europe to Gadira [southwest Spain], occupying lands encountered along the way, previously unoccupied by anyone, and gave the population their own titles."

The original place of settlement of the Japhetids was the territory of the ancient state of Urartu. Currently this is modern Armenia, eastern Türkiye and northwestern Iran.

After the flood, Noah's son Japheth and his brothers were blessed by God. Noah prophetically blessed Japheth, promising him great possessions and indicating that his descendants would dwell in the tents of Shem (Gen. 9:27).

Genealogy of Jesus Christ diagram

Some notes need to be made. In the genealogy from Jeconiah, Salafiel is indicated in the Synodal text. In the Hebrew text of the genealogy, Pedaiah is indicated as the father of Zerubbabel. We need to be clear here. Zerubbabel’s own blood father is Salathiel. But Salathiel died and Zerubbabel was adopted by Pedaiah. And since Salathiel died, his brother Pedaiah, who adopted Zerubbabel, was added to the genealogy. However, when Zerubbabel returned to Judah from Babylon, he was considered the son of Shealtiel, as a blood son. This can be traced in the books of the prophets, Nehemiah, Ezra, where he is called the son of Salafiel.

Noah's family

Noah was given the responsible task of restoring the human race. He had 3 sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. The book of Genesis lists the genealogy of each of them. After the global flood, Noah began to cultivate the land and planted vineyards. He is considered the creator of wine and the first winemaker.

Origin of Noah: Adam - Seth - Enosh - Cainan - Maleleel - Jared - Enoch - Methuselah - Lamech - Noah.

After the flood, Noah lived another 350 years, showing his children an example of righteous living and instilling in them the love of God. As St. John Chrysostom says

“This righteous man can teach our entire race and guide us to virtue. In fact, when he, living [before the flood] among such a multitude of evil people, and not being able to find a single person similar to him in morals, reached such high virtue, then how will we be justified, who, having no such obstacles, don’t we care about good deeds?”

Noah's Rescue

Noah (which means “calming”, “pacifying”) came from the family of Seth (the third son of Adam and Eve). At his birth, Noah's father Lamech said:

“He will comfort us in our work and in the labor of our hands in cultivating the land which the Lord has cursed” (Gen. 5:28–29).

And indeed, Noah became the comforter of the entire human race. It was to him that God commanded to be fruitful, multiply and restore the best human qualities in his descendants.

“Noah “really appeared as a gracious comforter, as the preserver of the human race and restorer of it in its best form” (St. Philaret of Moscow).

St. John Chrysostom focuses on a distinctive character trait of Noah. This is the steadfastness and firmness of his faith in God, his determination not to succumb to depravity:

“How devoted was this righteous man to virtue, when among so many people, striving with great strength for wickedness, he alone walked the opposite path, preferring virtue - and neither unanimity nor such a great multitude of evil people stopped him on the path of good... Imagine extraordinary wisdom a righteous man, when, among such unanimity of evil people, he could avoid infection and not suffer any harm from them, but retained firmness of spirit and avoided sinful unanimity with them.”

This is why God saved Noah and his family from destruction. The Lord informed him of the imminent destruction of the entire earth from the flood and ordered him to build an ark. Noah was given clear instructions. God revealed to him what size the ark should be, where to make the entrance holes, what material to use. God ordered to take a pair of all animals, birds, and reptiles. He also ordered to stock up on water and food (Gen. 6:14-22).

Noah worried about the fate of humanity. The Prophet tried to call them to repentance and change their depraved lifestyle. Saint John Chrysostom writes that:

“During this entire time he preached to all people and exhorted them to abandon wickedness.”

But cruel people only ridiculed him and did not attach any significance to the words of the righteous man.
