Every day a large number of people come to churches to pray to St. John of Kronstadt. They ask for help in various difficult situations. Believers know that prayer to John of Kronstadt relieves serious ailments, bad habits, and even damage.
Even during his lifetime, as rector of St. Andrew's Church, Father John did not refuse the suffering. Even then people came to him for mental and physical healing, to get rid of the human evil eye and demonic influence. Death of the Humble Righteous
Not long before the repose, the priest was asked to come to the patient. Moreover, they did this through people close to Father John. When the request was conveyed, inclining me to visit the suffering person, he, as one who foresaw further events, said: “You are calling me to the slaughter.” No one understood these words, continuing to insist on the trip. When we were already on the road, he again predicted: “You are taking me to the slaughter,” and then added: “God’s will be done, not mine.”
Arriving at the address, he was pushed away from the alarmed accompanying people, allegedly inviting him to see the sick person. There they attacked with a knife. Sensing trouble, the coachman broke open the doors and burst into the room, but the priest had already been stabbed several times. The humble priest forbade talking about this, completely surrendering himself into the hands of God. After which he became a little ill and peacefully went to the Lord.
Prayer to John of Kronstadt for healing
The saint delivers not only from gluttony and worldly temptations, but also gives strength, faith and hope to overcome the most terrible illnesses. When not only adults, but also children are sick, and medicine is no longer able to do anything, people come to pray to John, asking for a miraculous healing.

Receiving letters asking for help, the holy righteous man prayed, and the sick recovered without seeing the priest himself.
The fame of the power of his prayers was so great that St. Andrew’s Church, in which he served (with a capacity of 5,000! thousand people) was always overcrowded. Devotees of shrines tore the epitrachelion into pieces when he visited Riga. Here is an example of how he prayed: They called Fr. John to a patient who had a volvulus. The doctors could not do anything; the man was dying. The priest began to pray like this: “Lord, you made him the father of six children. Don't leave them orphans. Heal the afflicted." All people are different, especially in misfortunes, but saints are very similar to each other. They have the amazing ability to love both the good and the bad, seeing the Image of God in everyone. John of Kronstadt dreamed that everyone would be like this. Man, with the help of God, must acquire the Spirit of Love, then there will be no beggars, hungry or suffering on earth.
The inherent pain of the saint of God for the fate of the country, the future of which he saw, made him a fiery fighter against the destructive trends of unbelief - an All-Russian priest. He visited many cities with his sermons. There were no indifferent listeners. Despite the attempts of the revolutionaries to erase the dear name from the memory of the people, destroying St. Andrew's Church and filling the relics with concrete, his fame is growing. Charity
Spiritual gifts inspired people to give generously. Father did not leave anything for himself - he built churches and founded a convent in his homeland. Every day he distributed money to the poor. Thanks to this, they could buy food and even pay for overnight accommodation. Although the saint never had his own money, very large sums passed through him. He generously donated all these funds to those in need.
There were so many visitors that even abuses began. Some secretaries took money from those who wanted to get an appointment with Fr. John. The priest himself had little interest in money matters, turning all his thoughts to God. He got up before dawn, then held a service. Then visits began to those who needed it. Sometimes I didn’t even have 4 hours of sleep, taking confession until late at night.

Father left behind personal notes, from which it is clear that he treated himself very strictly. This is despite the fact that the Lord gave him the gift of clairvoyance and miracles. Although Fr. John was married, he agreed with his chosen one that he wanted to preserve his virginity. Therefore, they lived their whole lives in purity, like brother and sister.
The priest's mercy was so great that some did not like it. Others, on the contrary, went to extremes and declared him the incarnation of Christ - soon the sect was dispersed, and its participants repented. Service
The sincerity and simplicity of priest John forced him to distribute his own salary to the needy, down to the penny. During sermons, he often cried, which did not always meet with the approval of the church authorities. He could come home barefoot, giving his boots to the poor. The saint did a lot for people:
