“Boy, girl... who cares! He will grow up and decide for himself! - says one of my friends, who always goes through life with humor. But when you already have a couple of charming girls, I secretly want to try on the role of my son’s mother, and find out what it’s like. What is it like when a smaller copy of a decent parking lot appears in your house, or small airplanes constantly fly overhead, when your best little man opens the door and gives you dandelions! And so, until the very end, you can’t believe that it’s him—he’s the one, and now he’s nearby, and you’re no longer surprised, but happy that your dream has come true! I want everyone to have such dreams come true, and I want to write down what may have influenced this.
This post is not a guide to action, but simply the experience of one mother, that is, me. I will describe some scientific research conclusions and confirm/refute them, I will write about what I consider complete nonsense in planning the gender of a child, and perhaps something that you did not suspect at all.
I’ll say right away that we didn’t particularly plan to have a child for the third time, but I didn’t really resist nature then. As they say, I wouldn’t want it on purpose, but if it happened by itself, I would be very happy. And it was a kind of surprise, but a very pleasant one! By the way, research by scientists proves that planned children are more often girls, but the role of unplanned children is mainly inherent in boys. I confirm, since we have girls planned exactly.
Next I’ll tell you about the Chinese gender determination table, which is hated by many. So to speak, it was precisely in the months with the letter M that I did not resist nature (that is, when, according to the table, there should have been a boy). My girls also agree on the table. BUT I WILL WRITE FOR EVERYONE IN BOLD FONT THAT THIS TABLE IS SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE OVULATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH ABOUT PLUS/MINUS!
Since I mentioned ovulation, I’ll continue about it. Everyone probably already knows that even the doctors themselves put forward only this method, the most reliable for planning the gender of the baby. Namely, 3-5 days BEFORE - girls, during ovulation itself or after - boys. After all, sperm with the female genotype are slower and more tenacious, while sperm of the “boy” genotype are fast, but die just as quickly if they “did not wait” for ovulation. You can say whatever you want that at ovulation it’s a girl, and before you had a boy, until you track her not “by the stars”, but by ultrasound or special tests. Back in the summer, I became interested in these ovulation tests and found out that my ovulation came a little later than I expected, which is why I had my first two girls (conception occurred before ovulation), the boy turned out exactly at ovulation. But by the way, ovulation in different months can occur earlier or later, so without tests or ultrasound it is impossible to track it correctly!
But you may have conceived a baby during ovulation, but you have a charming princess! Why does this also happen? I’ll tell you one more way, which doctors also consider not the last. This, by the way, is not just a scientific, but a very ancient method, which even grandmothers talk about. On the right side (i.e. in the right ovary) there is a 90% chance of conceiving boys, and on the left side - girls! If you don’t understand, I’ll explain, after that, if we want a boy, we lie down on the right side! This seems funny, but all uzologists and doctors confirm this (I don’t remember why), boys from the left egg are very rare! Later I myself noticed that I always sleep on my left side, it’s such a habit, at that time I simply always forced myself to lie on my right side.
I also want to write about diet, this is complete nonsense. By eating only nuts, sausage and canned food (etc.) with your husband, you will give yourself excellent gastritis and lower your immunity, which will worsen your health, and may not give you any chance of conceiving at all, or it will, but the baby may be weak. On the contrary, it is better to eat more normal healthy food. By the way, scientists write that healthier women with good weight give birth to boys, by the way, I gained 2 kg before conception. I also want to write about planning by blood type, I can’t say that this is nonsense, but I won’t praise this method either. And all because my husband is 12 years older than me and while I wait until his coefficient exceeds mine, then I will already retire. The conception of the boy occurred after the renewal of my blood, and if you look at it at all, it was renewed at 21, at 22 (gave birth), at 24 (gave birth, at 25 - conception, in short, with super duper renewed blood, the boy was still conceived. My husband’s blood was renewed when I was 23, and will update now when I’m 27, so I don’t relate to this method at all.

That's all. Everything else is fiction. So, by combining all these most reliable methods, I fulfilled my dream. By the way, I didn’t fully believe that I was really having a boy. The pregnancy itself was not much different from the first, even in terms of timing (the son was supposed to be born exactly on the birthday of the eldest daughter, but premature birth occurred). But still, there are also some differences. With the girls, I could easily be offended or upset in any way; I easily lost my temper and became hysterical. I always wanted to laugh and be happy, to be calm and harmonious - this was confirmed by many acquaintances. I became absolutely indifferent to sweets and tea. The chocolate only smelled good; it tasted disgusting. This is the first pregnancy in which I constantly wanted to eat. Moreover, sandwiches at first were a big priority among some previously unseen variations. By the way, about the sandwiches, this was also confirmed by mothers expecting boys. When I didn’t yet know who I was waiting for, I once thought: “It’s not for nothing that they say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. (One of the ways) If you want to eat so much, then you can fall in love with the woman who will feed you deliciously!”
And lastly, if you really wanted a girl to be born and a boy to be born, or vice versa, raise your eyes to the sky and say: thank you! So it was given from above!
The story of Alexander Svirsky
His parents lived in the village of Mandera near Lake Ladoga and were God-fearing people. They asked the Lord for a very long time to send them a son. Being already in old age, God rewarded them for their prayers with a male child, who was named Amos.
The parents pinned their hopes on their son that he would marry and be their support and support. But from an early age the boy shunned worldly life, and when he grew up, he went to the men’s monastery. He took monastic vows with the name Alexander and spent a long time in severe asceticism and a cave.
At the end of the fifteenth century, the saint founded a men's monastery on the banks of the Svir River, a place of pilgrimage for many Orthodox people.
According to legend, one boyar had two daughters and really wanted a son. He turned to Alexander Svirsky, who prayed to the Lord for the birth of a boy. People also turned to him for serious illnesses, and he cured twenty-three people.

Alexander died at the age of eighty-five, but unlike other saints, he was quickly canonized by the church. The fate of the holy relics could have ended tragically; the security officers wanted to burn them. But God's providence intervened.
