- the time for pronouncing prayer words should not be late, since this gradually reduces attentiveness, increases the desire to sleep, which reduces the effectiveness of prayer;
- a layman must be attentive, and it is important to pronounce the text with soul;
- appeal to the Saints and the Lord must be sincere;
- it is necessary to take a vertical position, in Christianity this is the most suitable position for prayer, allowing you to distance yourself from the worldly, create a little discomfort, since you want to lie down before going to bed;
- It is recommended to read the prayer book out loud, or in a low voice;
- You must try to understand the meaning of the text you are reading.
The Orthodox beginning of the day - what should it be like? How and how should the day end?
After waking up, you need to read the morning rule (a collection of prayer texts). You should turn to God with a request for blessings and words of gratitude. The prayer is also read in the evening, but it is different. This is also a prayer rule, only in the evening.
