Lotus energy
The lotus flower symbolizes:
- spiritual development;
- harmony;
- wisdom;
- Love;
- happiness;
- enlightenment.
The white lotus has another symbolic meaning - it is a symbol of imperial power. This talisman attracts intense flows of positive energy into the house and improves the circulation of Qi - the presence of a lotus in the house has a positive effect on all family members. Mutual understanding appears between spouses, their relationship becomes stronger and more sensual. Place the talisman in the nursery, and children will begin to develop intensively - kids quickly absorb information about the world around them, and teenagers begin to study better and their relationships with their parents become smoother.
Fresh flowers and lotus images are used as a talisman. As an alternative - a crystal figurine made in the shape of a lotus flower. A crystal figurine has almost the same strong energy as real flowers. In order to enhance the effectiveness of fresh flowers, it makes sense to place them in a crystal vase.
The number of flowers matters: 1, 2, 3, 7, 33. One flower improves the atmosphere in the house, attracting flows of Qi and dispersing them to others. Two flowers contribute to the harmonization of marital relations and can even rekindle the flame of cooled feelings. Three flowers attract material wealth and stability. Do any of your loved ones get sick often? Then place 7 flowers - the powerful energy of these talismans accumulates Qi in such a way that diseases bypass the house. 33 flowers at once affect all aspects of life: health, wealth, sensuality, wisdom - this talisman will bring all this and much more.
How to enhance lotus energy
This flower can be placed in any area of the house, including the kitchen, but the talisman works most effectively in the living room. The activity of all family members is concentrated in this room. Every time they enter the living room, their energy fields will fall under the influence of the lotus. The lotus should be on a separate table made of glass or wood. A metal table will interfere with the talisman - the energy fields of metal and nature do not combine well with each other.
It is not recommended to place the lotus on the windowsill. Intense flows of negative energy from external sources will affect the flower - it will not only stop working as a talisman, but will also live much shorter. To enhance the lotus, place glass figurines next to the flower, for example, an elephant - a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Water has a beneficial effect on the energy of the lotus, so if the flower is located next to an aquarium or decorative fountain, its influence will increase significantly.
Are you striving for spiritual growth? Then place the talisman in the western part of the house. The West is a zone of creativity and development, so the energy of the flower will be concentrated on this aspect. The aspect of influence depends on the location of the lotus; for example, in the northern zone, the energy of the flower will be concentrated on attracting material wealth.
If the lotus begins to dry out or completely wither, it must be replaced as soon as possible. When this is not possible, the flower is simply removed from the house. A dead lotus not only does not help attract spiritual and material benefits, but also interferes with the normal circulation of Qi.
In Feng Shui, the lotus symbol, which is thousands of years old, means purity, harmony, and chastity. His figurines and images are used to awaken spiritual values and consciousness in a person, to attract wealth and love into the home.
The lotus symbol is always round in shape and is made mainly of glass or rock crystal. This royal flower of the East always works powerfully, regardless of its size. Delicate crystal petals emit divine light; they transmit negative energy through themselves and evenly distribute positive energy throughout the house.

Vadim, November 27, 2014.
In this article you will learn:
The lotus is a symbol of the world emerging from the void in the Eastern tradition. People in ancient times believed that it had magical properties and helped control the world. A blossoming sacred plant also signified the full realization of the potential inherent in a person.
What does lotus mean in Buddhism?
In Buddhism, the lotus is the divine flower of the East or a symbol of purity, life and happiness. Its flowers rise from dirty swamp water, but appear bright and pure, like Buddha born into the human world. Like him, those who sincerely practice Buddhism will be able to get rid of torment. In this religion, revered deities (Buddha, White Tara, Manjushri, etc.) are depicted sitting on a blossoming lotus flower or holding it in their hands.
Buddhists believe that the blossoming of the lotus represents the beginning of a new era. When fully bloomed, this flower symbolizes the cosmic wheel - uninterrupted life.
In the Buddhist paradise, plants of different colors grow in ponds decorated with precious stones. The color of lotus petals in Feng Shui is associated with a Buddhist deity and has its own meaning:
- White (White Tara). The color symbolizes a state of spiritual perfection.
- Red (Avalokiteshvara). The red flower calls for love and compassion.
- Blue (Manjushri). Associated with the victory of the spirit, higher knowledge and wisdom.
- Pink (Buddha). Corresponds to the highest deity and denotes his presence on earth.
Lotus in feng shui
“Light and pure in spirit, not subject to dirt or silt, a lotus in a dark pond - and it’s no wonder that the dew on the leaves sparkled like pearls.” Hejo
What flower is associated with spirituality, purity, life harmony and enlightenment? Of course, Lotus! Since ancient times, it has been loved and revered by different peoples, cultures and religions. It can be found in many images, not only in the hands of gods and goddesses, but also as a throne, symbolizing the basis of life and personifying the harmony and balance of Yin and Yang energies. Its symbol is found on numerous ancient architectural monuments, and references to it can be found in many legends, stories and poetry. Growing from mud and silt, plunging into it every evening, but at the same time always remaining pristinely pure and exquisitely beautiful, opening its petals towards the sun and new life, it has always been a symbol of purity and spirituality, happiness and beauty, rebirth and restoration of vitality.
In Hinduism
Hindus in ancient times depicted the Earth in the form of a lotus blossoming over water. According to legend, while Vishnu (the creator of the world) was resting in the primordial waters, a flower grew from his navel. Brahma appeared in the bowl of the plant, who created our Universe.
Vishnu's wife is Lakshmi (goddess of happiness, beauty and wealth). According to myth, she came out of the ocean with a lotus in her hands when the gods created the ocean. There is another version: the goddess surfaced on a flower from the primordial waters.
The sacred plant was considered in ancient India in two parts. As a reflection of the solar principle, it is a symbol of the solar gods (Vishnu and Surya), and according to the lunar principle, it is a symbol of the goddess of moisture Lakshmi. The sacred plant is a symbol of 2 manifestations of life: the passive side is the immutability of the Universe, its eternal existence, the active side is the activity of a person in revealing his abilities. This is explained by the fact that the plant stem is under water, and the calyx is above its surface.
Located on the threshold of a Hindu temple, the lotus symbolizes the pure abode of the deity. A plant with 3 stems signifies the tripartite aspect of time, which includes past events, those happening now, and those that are yet to happen. The center of the flower represents Mount Meru - the world axis located in the center of the Earth.
In Ancient Japan
The Japanese believed that the lotus bud represents purity, not susceptible to the negative influences of the environment. Buddhist painting and temple culture were developed in Japan. The lotus was a necessary attribute in temples. Buddha was often depicted on his throne in the form of this flower.
After accepting Buddhism, the Japanese learned about the Lotus Sutra (one of the cycles of Buddha's sermons). In the 8th century it was recognized as one of the sutras that protect the country. The authority of this canonical text increased in the 9th century. after the Tendai Buddhist school was declared the state church.
The Japanese have long been committed to fresh flowers and their cultivation. White and pink lotuses are grown in Japanese park ponds. They are mentioned in folk poems and songs. People in this country have come up with many culinary recipes using the root of this plant.
In modern world
In many cultures, the lotus is a symbol of purity and nobility. It is believed that the cup of the flower signifies the fertility and productive energy of all life on earth, endless life. The image of this sacred plant reminds people of the dominant role of the mind, its divine nature and victory over base feelings and difficulties of the external world.
The lotus symbol also denotes help and compassion. Since ancient times, people have found practical uses for this flower, which is also found in the Russian Far East. In Eastern medicine, medicines were prepared from all parts of the plant. The stem of the flower is used in many dishes of Japanese, Chinese, Indian, and Tibetan cuisine. Rosaries are made from its seeds. Thus, the sacred plant benefits people.
In yoga, the lotus pose is very popular. During meditation, a person crosses his legs, straightens his back, and places his hands on his knees, palms up. Thanks to this, it becomes like a sacred flower. The human limbs represent the petals of the bud, and the back represents the stem.
When visualizing the energy system, yogis imagine their energy centers (chakras) with lotuses of different colors, facing down or up, and different numbers of petals. The upper main chakra is called the 1000 petal lotus (sahasrara). It is located near the crown. During meditation, energy passes through all the chakras and escapes into the surrounding space through the sahasrara.
The image of the lotus is of great importance in Feng Shui. It is recommended to store a small crystal flower on the desktop; it will attract the energy of inspiration and spiritual growth to this area, and on the children’s table it will help increase creativity and academic success. A talisman placed in the southwestern side of the house will bring good luck and business success to its owner.
In the love zone (in the bedroom, next to the marital bed), the image of this plant will also be useful. It will bring harmony to family relationships.
When choosing a talisman, you should take into account that fresh flowers carry more energy than artificial ones or images of a lotus. You should not look for large flowers; it is better to focus on small buds that fit organically into the space of your home. A lotus tattoo will bring good luck to the owner outside the home. The main condition is that the symbol must please its owner and attract him.
According to Feng Shui, the lotus symbol helps restore the flow of vital energy and an influx of strength, bringing harmony and tranquility to family relationships.
Lotus is a truly amazing flower. For many centuries in Eastern countries people have revered it and considered it sacred.
In Ancient Egypt
The lotus was considered a symbol of fertility. When he appeared in large numbers along the banks of the Nile, people rejoiced and said that the year would be fruitful.
In India
The lotus is considered a symbol of purity. Despite the fact that its roots grow from silt (mud), the flower itself always remains clean and is never dirty. Lotus flowers are stunningly beautiful and always face the sun. The gods of India were often depicted sitting on a lotus, or holding a lotus flower in their hand. Moreover, a white lotus was most often depicted. Since it was he who was considered an attribute of divine power.
Indian goddess on a lotus flower
In China
The lotus is also revered and considered sacred.
Feng Shui
says the following about lotus:
The lotus is the embodiment of harmony between the masculine and feminine principles. The feminine principle in this case is stagnant water (Yin), the masculine is the light of the sun on the surface (Yang). Thus, it turns out that it symbolizes the perfection of the world. This plant fertilizes itself and exists in itself. Lotus buds are a symbol of the past, a beautiful flower is the present, a lotus seed is the future. It is the embodiment of Tao. Therefore, in Feng Shui, lotus
is considered a symbol of purity, a bright desire for spiritual perfection, harmony and fertility.
Using a lotus as a Feng Shui talisman will help to attract wisdom, spiritual peace into a person’s life, and will also protect its owner from anger and envy.
To find love, you also need to get a lotus
One of the legends tells that the obstinate beauty Lee was courted by many guys. The girl promised to become the wife of the one who brings her something unusual. One of the suitors was sincerely in love with the girl, but could not leave his village for a long time, as he was caring for his sick parents. It was this guy that Lee was in love with. The young man was very worried, because every day men brought gifts to his beloved, but he himself did not find anything unusual. The girl saw the guy’s grief, she decided to call him to the lake to show him something hitherto unprecedented. As soon as the boat delivered the lovers to the middle of the reservoir, Lee threw herself into the water. The guy dived after the bride, trying to save the beauty, but at the bottom, instead of the girl, the young man saw an amazing flower - a lotus. The guy tore it off to give it to his beloved. Lee emerged from the abyss and agreed to become the wife of the daredevil.
In the philosophy of the Ancient East, the lotus has always occupied a special place. It was believed that the earth was a huge lotus that bloomed royally on the surface of the sea. The dark, ignorant times have long since sunk into oblivion, great discoveries have cleared up the history of the universe, but the legends continue to live today.
The lotus as an element of Feng Shui is of great importance, symbolizing the divine principle and life as such. It is not without reason that references to this symbol are found in Chinese prose and poetry, and many architectural monuments are decorated with drawings depicting it. The lotus position is actively used in yoga, and souvenir gifts in the form of a sacred flower are received with reverence and joy.
According to Feng Shui, the lotus is the harmony of form and the personification of purity. It helps a person find spiritual peace and gives wisdom.
Such a delicate and at first glance vulnerable flower has powerful strength and energy. He serves as an example for those who, even in the most difficult situations, remain optimistic and believe in the best. One has only to look at how the lotus grows, and it becomes clear why so many respectful words are sent to it. The roots, reaching the very bottom, are in silt and mud, and the flowers, fragrant with a delicate aroma, gracefully rise above the water.
Such a clear and revealing picture makes it clear that the spiritual is always more important than the earthly. No matter how bad, dark and hopeless it is, you need to strive for light and sun. And then grace will descend from heaven, and the heart will be filled with kindness.
Lotus petals have the amazing ability to retain positive energy in the house, preventing it from leaving the room. As a result, the necessary flows circulate in space, beneficially affecting all family members. Unanimity is achieved between people who previously did not understand each other, lost feelings are revived, and nervousness gives way to calm and mental balance. The long-awaited peace and mutual understanding comes, your career goes up, and bad thoughts no longer torment your head.
When planning to buy talismans in the form of a lotus, do not chase the size. A too large flower figure will be, if not superfluous, then certainly not justified. Focus on your own taste preferences, the availability of free space in the house and the existing interior.
By placing the lotus figurine in a prominent place, the eye will “look” at it very often. Therefore, the talisman must, first of all, be liked and evoke pleasant emotions in the soul. Remember this and do as your inner intuition tells you.
The most popular among admirers of Eastern philosophy is the crystal lotus. The light refracted in its petals gives a stunning effect and creates a desire to admire the pure radiance endlessly. The fragile, almost weightless figurine of a flower will open up notes of inspiration in you, and life will sparkle with new colors.
Lotus flower
Divine flower, symbol of purity, wisdom and divine illumination. The lotus in Feng Shui symbolizes creative power and spiritual blossoming. Incredible potential is hidden in its buds. The lotus is one of the most powerful talismans; the Great Buddha calls it the most auspicious sign for all humanity.
For thousands of years in the East, the lotus has been worshiped; it occupies an honorable place in many religious rites, it is mentioned in traditions and legends, and monuments of writing and art testify to it. The poetic tradition of the Ancient East represented our land as a huge lotus blooming on the surface of the sea, and paradise as a mirror of a lake overgrown with pink lotuses, where righteous souls live.

Amulet "Lotus"

The young man, head over heels in love with the obstinate beauty, unsuccessfully sought her favor along with other suitors. The capricious beauty promised that she would marry someone who would bring her something that no one had ever seen. The young men in love dispersed around the world in search of all kinds of wonders and wonderful things.
Beloved Li could not leave his village for long. He was madly in love with the unapproachable beauty, but could not leave his elderly, sick parents because of her. He only went crazy with hopeless love, watching in horror as grooms returned to the village every day, loaded with unprecedented gifts for the bride. Lee was even more worried; she couldn’t see his grief. One day, late in the evening, she called her beloved to the lake, promising to show him something hitherto unprecedented. The young man agreed to take her on a boat ride, but when they swam out to the middle of the lake, Li threw herself into the dark waters of the lake and sank like a stone. The young man, without hesitation, dived after her, trying to save her, but instead of the girl, he saw an amazing flower at the bottom, such beauty he had never seen in his life. It was a lotus, and he gave it to the unapproachable beauty, who immediately inflamed with unusually passionate love for him and did not hesitate to marry him.

Lotus in the culture of different peoples
Lotuses are amazing in themselves. Falling into muddy, infertile soil, thoroughly saturated with water, the seeds can “sleep” for decades, and then grow into a strong stem and break out of the water surface. Flowers, opening in the morning, make any body of water, even the most inconspicuous, beautiful, and at sunset they hide again.
Botany gave the world the lotus as a cereal rich in fiber, starch, and sugar, from which baked goods are often baked. It is also used in tinctures that have medicinal properties and are taken orally. And the pleasant smell became the reason why incense is made from the flower.
The incredibly beautiful buds are entangled in threads of legends, myths and sacred stories. They absorbed the energy of all the elements and became a conductor:
- land;
- water;
- air;
- fire.
The stems originate from the ground, make their way through the water, the petals breathe air, and the whole plant lives in the rhythm of fire - the sun. This is how it connects with the universe.
Many countries and their cultural heritage interpret the meaning of the plant in their own way, but they are unanimous on one thing: the lotus is a symbol of frequency, beauty and light.
Off the banks of the Nile
In Ancient Egypt, the lotus was considered a sacred flower that absorbed the power and energy of the sun. It is not surprising, because it is inextricably linked with the names of many ancient Egyptian gods.
It is believed that the sun god himself, Ra, emerged from a flower. The lord of the sun at his rising - Horus - is also certainly depicted surrounded by buds. The lord of fertility, the regenerator of life, Osiris and his beautiful wife Isis sat on thrones decorated with lotuses, and even the legendary Nefertiti herself loved these flowers.
Imitating the Gods, rulers and pharaohs decorated everything around with lotus symbols: headdresses, majestic scepters, tombs, tombs, beds of newborns, gold coins, temples, architectural ensembles. In the upper reaches of Egypt, the image of five open buds became a real symbol of the state.
The hieroglyph that denoted this flower began to be used as the number sign 1000.
Thanks to the young god Nefertum, who woke up every day from open petals and wore them on his head, the lotus became a sign of fertility and vegetation. During the season, when the Nile overflowed, it carried lotus seeds throughout the surrounding area, and for people this meant that the year would be fruitful.
“Many lotuses mean fertility,” says an ancient Egyptian proverb.
The flower was sacred not only for gods and kings, but also for ordinary people. Its scatterings could be found literally everywhere: in swamps, in houses, on tables, in clothes. So, the bride wove a wreath for herself, decorated the premises and even showered the bedroom with petals.
The heads of the guests were decorated with similar lotus wreaths, and the festive table was certainly decorated with fresh buds, which were changed very often. During the holidays, the whole country was drowned in the fragrance of these flowers - in the form of garlands and bouquets, they filled homes, churches, and streets. They have become a symbol of vitality and the triumph of youth.
Traces in Hinduism
Vedic culture views the lotus as a symbol of life. The Upanishads present our planet as a serene bud, rocking on the waves of cosmic chaos. Even many gods are depicted with this flower.
The most important god - Vishnu - slept in a pond, and a flower grew in his navel, from which Brahma then emerged. Vishnu’s wife, Lakshmi, is also associated with the lotus; she found herself on the shore, emerging from the ocean and clutching a beautiful flower in her hands.
It is not for nothing that Lakshmi is also called “Padma” - translated from Sanskrit it means “lotus”.
In Indian tradition, the lotus cup symbolizes birth and the associated female sexual organ - the yoni. Gods in female form in India generally became “lotus” and were mostly depicted with this plant, which emphasized fertility, creation, and tenderness. The thrones of many other deities were also lavishly decorated with scatterings and wreaths.
Modern India has the red lotus in its emblem. Temples called “Lotus Mahal” are scattered throughout the country, and during siesta the scent of aromatic lotus tea spreads through the hot air.
Mastopexy is an operation that brought the surgeon a well-deserved award
In 2020, I. V. Konstantinova received the Crystal Lotus award in the category “Best Plastic Surgeon” as a specialist in mastopexy.
A breast lift is called a mastopexy. This type of plastic surgery is one of the most common forms of female breast correction. Over time, the shape of the glands loses its former attractiveness, and many patients sign up for breast lift surgery. During surgery, excess layers of skin are excised, and the downward-sloping nipple is raised.
The result of mastopexy is an external change in the shape and condition of the mammary gland. If necessary, the patient is offered to install implants simultaneously with the correction. In order for a breast lift to have the desired result, Irina Valerievna Konstantinova checks the woman’s health condition and carefully thinks through the intervention plan.
Modern fashion
Symbolism is not alien to fashion trends. Feng Shui is such only in the West, while in its historical homeland it has been developing for many years. One way or another, one of the central concepts here is also the lotus.
Real flowers, figurines, flower images awaken and pacify the spiritual energy of space, activate the necessary zones, and balance two opposite sides, yin and yang.
The plant can truly be called unusual. Giving the impression of tenderness, lightness, vulnerability, in fact it boldly rushes upward, towards the sun, overcoming all obstacles. That is why its motifs are used in interior design, clothing, and even used in tattoos.
Meaning of the lotus symbol
In China, Paradise is often depicted as a lake surface covered with lotuses, where each flower symbolizes the soul of the deceased. If the deceased was a righteous person, then the petals open; if they are mired in sin, they rot.
Since ancient times, the divine snow-white flower, symbolizing purity and innocence, has been revered in eastern countries. When Buddha was born, according to legend, there was a shower of petals, and then, wherever the great teacher stepped, flowers appeared everywhere. Indian deities often sit on a lotus, and goddesses have it included in their hairstyle. The magical plant contains hidden creative possibilities and divine light power, which is why it is considered a powerful amulet. The lotus bestows wisdom and spiritual harmony on its owners.
The flower cleanses the living space from the negative force of Sha and transforms it into Qi. In a home with a heavy atmosphere, the talisman harmonizes the flow of energy and creates an atmosphere of peace. The magical lotus also symbolizes life itself and true love, which knows no self-interest. According to ancient legends, a girl turned into a flower after sacrificing herself for the happiness of her beloved, who did not even notice her. In a closed bud, Yin and Yang, male and female energy, are intertwined, therefore together they complement each other. A magical amulet in the form of a lotus is suitable for everyone, regardless of gender and age, and will not give any side effects.
An essential symbol of Buddhism
The life of Buddhists is inextricably linked with this plant, because Gautama Buddha himself was like a lotus: he always remained pure. He was born, and a thick rain of flowers fell to the ground. Siddhartha took his first steps, and buds grew in place of his footprints. Sitting and meditating, he assumed a pose that was also called the lotus position.
It was she who helped to concentrate all attention, raise energy and ultimately achieve nirvana. It is not for nothing that Buddha is depicted everywhere sitting on a flower, revealing his soul. His paradise was a garden, “drowned” in lakes of lotuses, bright and varied.
In Buddhism, the color of the lotus plays an important role. Depending on the palette, the cultural meaning and patron deity change:
- white is perfection, the absolute of the soul. He is associated with White Tara, her nature and the color of her flesh;
- red – empathy, all-consuming and compassionate love, passion. This is a kind of purity of heart that corresponds to Avalokitesvara;
- blue - the triumph of the soul over feeling, the primacy of knowledge. This flower is associated with Manjushri - the patron of wisdom;
- pink - the image of the highest deity, indicates the Buddha himself.
Tibetan teaching considers amazing buds and their entire nature as the wheel of life. It contains the past, present and future. A closed flower is the past, an open bud is the present, fruits with seeds are the future.
The way out of the wheel of Samsara with a series of rebirths should be the pearl found in the lotus - nirvana. Therefore, this flower in Buddhism is a symbol of enlightenment.
