Combination of elements. Lack of elements in astrology.

Elementals: Nature Spirits

Knowledgeable magicians believe that the subtle plane, which they are able to see, has its inhabitants - spirits who are direct representatives of the power of one of the elements. These spirits are usually referred to as “elementals.” They are represented as certain entities that rule one or another element. Elementals have mystical images and names. The spirits of the element Air are called sylphs, and the spirits of Water are called undines. Salamanders represent Fire, and gnomes represent Earth.

In order for an ordinary person to be able to interact with elementals, certain circumstances are needed - natural manifestations of elemental force: storm, thunderstorm, strong wind, snowfall and the like.

There are also places where certain forces are more manifested (for example, the sea, mountains). We are not saying that during a complete calm of nature you cannot contact the forces of the elements; it’s just that at certain moments this can be done much easier due to the fact that the element itself at that very moment is more saturated and concentrated in space.

The elements should not be perceived as a separate world that exists in parallel with ours. In fact, the element is similar to matter, with the help of which all life and the world where we live are created. By correctly interacting with the elements, you can correct both the physical manifestation of the world and the spiritual moments of existence.

Even the human body is a harmonious combination of four elements with the help of the fifth (conventionally it is designated pure spirit or ether). They also influence the course of life. If you learn to call upon yourself the necessary flows, you can solve many problems and significantly improve your life.

People who know natural magic almost constantly operate with the flow of energies of the forces of the elements. In addition, even basic protection during rituals is a circle with the activation of each element in the corresponding direction of the world. But before we propose a method of filling the powers of the elements, we need to consider which of them is used and for what.

Combination of elements. Lack of elements in astrology.

Lecture 3A. Addition to lecture 3 Elements. (elements)

  1. Practical recommendations
  2. Predominance of 2 elements at the same time
  3. Lack of elements
  4. Interaction at the elemental level.

Practical recommendations:

What qualities need to be developed and with the help of what qualities can one interact with people who have a pronounced spontaneous type in situations of its exalted manifestation.

Fire . It is obvious that Fire lacks calmness and contemplative energy. Fire, like its antagonist Water, needs to learn to distance itself somewhat from the situation. Do not take everything in the world personally, and do not consider it necessary to interfere in everything in the world. At the same time, if in your environment there is a person of a pronounced Fire type, this is of course fun and interesting, but from time to time it is difficult. Fire experiences its sensations very brightly, exaltedly. Burning with an idea, being depressed or angry, he cannot assess the situation objectively. His idea at this moment is too great, his depression is hopeless, and his anger is uncontrollable. Therefore, if you try to put pressure on him, prove to him the inconsistency of his idea, or reasons for worry, and even more so if you use any aggressive position for this, it will ONLY WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember - Fire depends on recharge. The brighter (louder) you express your protest, dissuade, or (in case of depression) exaggerate the topic, the more “fed” he will be. And, therefore, the longer and brighter his condition will continue. People living next to Fire - just like Fire itself - have to master CALM.

Earth - you need to develop 2 qualities in yourself - a lighter, more positive attitude towards life and generosity. The Earth is usually stingy, this is a property of a dense element, but often the “thrift” and “homeliness” of the Earth develops into stinginess. Moreover, the conversation is not only about the material world, but also about the emotional side. The Earth is often stingy with emotions. Such a thrifty and economical attitude towards both material values and emotions leads to the fact that the Earth begins to instinctively fear for its resources, and any fear, especially one that has developed into a chronic condition, prevents one from enjoying life. Therefore, cultivating at least relative generosity is very important for people of the Earth element. The same applies to the attitude towards life - the earth is serious, and there is nothing wrong with that. But often, due to her strong involvement in material life and great rationality, she ceases to feel light states. And, consequently, even minor troubles, and even more so changes, are perceived too dramatically. Air – weak points – constancy and practicality. Air lacks the qualities of its antagonistic element - Earth. He needs to learn to develop a more serious attitude towards obligations, towards the words spoken, since otherwise, he will very soon begin to be considered an “idle talker”, and therefore, he does not take what he says seriously. It is very important for Air that his intellect is valued; it is through his intellect that he evaluates himself, considering this his greatest strength. But if he doesn’t take a more responsible approach to the information he broadcasts, he risks earning a reputation as a “stupid” person who, in fact, doesn’t understand anything. In the same way, its optionality will lead to the fact that they will not contact him on serious issues, and at best, he will be assigned a modest role of “address information”, which is unlikely to suit the most airy person. Water – water lacks hardness. It is very important for her to learn to be firm with herself first of all, which will naturally allow her to be more of an organizer of her life. This manifests itself in absolutely everything. For example, it is easier to make a promise to water than to firmly say no. She will try to evade any clear answers, but if you still “press her to the wall,” she will promise you. Another question is what to do, since she doesn’t want to, she definitely won’t, so having the “promise” of water in stock, you will “catch” her for a long time, and ask/demand/remind her of the promise given to her until at some point, she will not throw out a wave of indignation on you due to the fact that you are, at the very least, behaving dishonestly, demanding from her what she will not do, because she cannot! It would be better for her, of course, to firmly tell you “no” from the very beginning and that’s it. The same applies to the internal states of Water, having acquired some firmness and solidity, it will become less suspicious, less emotional, vulnerable, and, consequently, its life will become much calmer, more stable, protected, which is what Water sorely lacks.

“temperament” comes from the Latin temperamentum, which means “proportion of parts.” While calculating the balance of elements in his chart, someone saw that his horoscope had a LOT of one element and few others. Someone saw two dominant and two weakly expressed elements. For some people it's about the same. We have already talked about pronounced Elements. Now it’s worth focusing on the description of cards where there are two dominant elements (for example, 5+5+0+0 (which is rare); 5+4+1+0; 4+4+ 1+1 (or plus 2+0) ; and even 4+3+2+1 (all the same, 4 and 3 will dominate). Some of you counted 3+3+3+1 - in this case, you can talk about relative balance and at the same time read about that element , the qualities of which you lack. COMBINATION OF ELEMENTS

Fire-Earth - Firstly, of course, this is an unusually effective, productive combination. Such a person has initiative and determination (Fire), but at the same time endurance and ability to work (Earth). it’s like in the joke - “Zhorik, go home!” - “Mom, am I cold or want to eat?” Such a person knows everything for everyone and better than anyone. Fire commander, leader, center. Earth – precision, formality. It is very important for the owner of such a combination to know EXACTLY who is with us and who is not. And those who are not, AS A RULE, are against us. Black and white thinking. In addition, Fire (especially Aries) is always for the truth, and moreover, he is not afraid to express this truth, regardless of whether you like it or not. And if he also has a lot of Earth, then moving him from his position will be simply UNREALISTIC!!! There are no external means of influence on him; in order for him to change his point of view, his position, he must, for example, be disappointed in the idea that he accepted as true (although this is not very easy) or for some other reason INTERNALLY change your attitude towards her. And of course, these are excellent businessmen. Business requires passion and risk, and this is what Fire gives. The ability to “count” and the ability to attract money – Earth.

Fire-Air - An excellent speaker, a person who can ignite anyone, anything. A wonderful theorist, sincerely in love with his theory. But there is no practical implementation if there is no successor, with a strong Earth, who would deepen the theory, look for money for its implementation, and do routine work. The best “promoter” of his ideas will be the Fire-Air man, and if he comes to a sponsor or publisher or someone else who decides the fate of the project and “gives” his fiery speech there, he will not be refused. But the problem is that using the funds received for a business can be very difficult for a person. By the way, such a person treats money very easily, hoarding is not typical for him, and he does not know how to calculate a budget. He tends to spend everything he has in his wallet without thinking about “tomorrow.” A person absolutely devoid of practical acumen. He is beautiful in love - poetry, serenades under the window, restaurants (if he has money, he goes out to the fullest). If there is no money, then in any case, making an impression is “a piece of cake” for him. Fire - Water - boiling water! Here two elements collided - antagonists. And the person, therefore, turned out to be ambiguous. From Fire he took brightness, demonstrativeness (intensified by water, as an emphasis on his own experiences), and activity. From Water - sensitivity, reactivity, the ability to subtly sense space, but also the ability to adapt. But both elements are self-oriented, extremely subjective, touchy and self-centered. As a result, he turned out to be a very bright, attractive (since he knows how to be very emotional, and at the same time has a distinct personality), touchy person. Moreover, he is touchy even more than pure Fire, since pure Fire may not notice that he has been offended, or may not consider it necessary to react to it - someone else’s opinion is important to him insofar as it will come from a person whose opinion means something to him. He will calmly “score” everyone else and won’t even strain himself. But the Fire-Water type feels very well WHAT people put into words, and since pride there is higher than in all other combinations, resentment for him is often the first reaction to an unpleasant irritant. But tell me, will he tolerate being offended? NO!!! Of course not, no, no and again NO!!! Such a person will respond to an insult immediately (Fire), but unlike all other types, he also perfectly feels the sore spot of the offender, so he will get the latter in full. In love - very bright, demonstrative, but sensual (let's say Fire-Air is beautiful, but not sensitive, HIS manifestation is more important to him, worthy of admiration, but here there is a completely different content). But, of course, jealous, touchy, maybe vindictive, but still far from necessary, since Fire does not hold a grudge for long. Those. he will remember the insult until the end of his days, but most likely he will not take revenge (maybe except for Leo), since in principle Fire is generous. The attitude towards business, as well as towards life in general, is VERY emotional, which often harms, if not the business, then certainly the Native himself, since it does not allow him to relax until the matter is over. The good thing is that Water, after all, is a feminine, compliant element, therefore, in principle, such a person, unlike pure Fire, despite all his temper and subjectivity, can learn to give in and be more loyal.

Earth – Fire – see Fire-Earth.

Earth - Air - a person who thinks what he says. Such people do not like to waste words and take their obligations seriously. Little emotional. Objective. They remember very well what they say and generally take their words seriously. Good for researchers, but they need a Fire type person to promote their wonderful, methodologically proven ideas. For example, the Fire-Air type can “charm” sponsors by offering them a simple CONCEPT, in which nothing will be developed in detail, but will be presented incredibly attractively. But a person of the Earth-Air type, having calculated everything, can receive money as a result of his own presentation only from sponsors who are themselves professionals in this field. He will crush everyone else with meticulous, but not interesting to non-specialists, details. But with all this, such people do not develop ideas that are not capable of bringing material rewards or any other tangible benefits. Their social connections, or mental ideas, must have practical utility and physical expression.

Earth - Water - two passive, materially oriented, feminine elements. What this person will not have is passion, there will be no leadership abilities. From the point of view of work, this is a good performer, the main thing is that the Water does not “wash away” attentiveness. There can be a very creative person, especially if creativity is associated with a dense form - drawing, sculpting, sewing, perhaps some kind of musical ability, but there, in my opinion, there should be an instrument. But passive people, of course, often do not strive to make independent decisions, although they are incredibly stubborn, even stubborn, in what they consider right for themselves. It is very difficult to move such a person from his place. The female elements are hardy, therefore, the male ones who strive to take them “at a glance” will very soon surrender under the inaccessibility or onslaught of the Earth-Water people. Wonderful family men, people who know how to create comfort and coziness for their loved ones. Who is really important to them is their loved ones, and if their loved ones need protection, they can show very active qualities, here both the “inevitability” of the earth and the “treachery” of water will come into play. But it should be noted that these manifestations are still an extreme case associated with some kind of stressful situation. Such a person carefully protects his inner world, but thanks to Water, there is already an opportunity for other people (very close ones, of course) to be allowed into it. Emotional, but most often not demonstrative. Rarely changes his opinion about a person - if he accepted (somehow on an internal level) then he accepted, if not, then it will take a lot of effort to convince him (here, by the way, we can talk about intuition, but often such a person -understanding intuitively, provides rational explanations for this). The feelings are deep, if such a person falls in love, then it will be for a long time, if not forever.

Air – Fire – see Fire – Air

Air - Earth - see Earth - Air

Air - Water - a person who loves to talk about feelings and experiences. It’s great for psychologists, by the way, since people are reagents, they can feel what a person REALLY wants to say, hear his problem, and be able to talk about it without dragging the whole cart of other people’s misfortunes onto themselves. Can be quite objective when assessing the feelings of others. But he is much more loyal to himself. He loves to talk about his problems, and if there is an opportunity to shift them onto someone else, he will not be shy either. But due to the lack of stable elements, there may be problems with truly YOUR own opinion, which would not change depending on your mood for any long time.

Water - in all combinations, see above.

ABSENCE OF ELEMENTS When discussing the absence of qualities represented by one or another element, we must first of all proceed from which of the elements will be exaltedly represented in the chart of a particular person. This information must be combined in order to make a correct conclusion about a specific person.

LACK OF FIRE. The main quality of Fire is not to be afraid to start something new, to be the first, regardless of anyone’s opinion. If there is no Fire, and the person has:

Earth Dominance - He will hold on very tightly to what he has. Despite the fact that the Earth is essentially honest, due to the absence of Fire, it will not fight for the truth. She will be dissatisfied if she is drawn into some matter that does not agree with her idea of justice, but she will not DEFEND her position, considering that “the giraffe is big, he knows better” and calm down on that. It is also important to mention here that the person will have problems with ethics and ideals. Everything will revolve around money and practical values.

The predominance of Air - it will be easy for him to look at the world objectively, he will see different points of view, and most importantly, admit their independent value. BUT he most likely will not have his own opinion, moreover, most likely he will not have an authoritative opinion. There will just be a lot of different opinions, different people. This is a person who speaks very well, but he will not have the power of persuasion. And the goal is to convince too, since for this you need to have your own opinion, of which you would like to convince someone.

Water dominance is a coward. Without any context other than what was originally put into this word. This man is afraid of everything in the world. If, for example, he has 6 Water, 0 Fire, 2 Air and Earth, he will be afraid simply because he will be afraid. TOTAL. It will be difficult for him to make his own decisions, it is unlikely that he will have at least some initiative in anything. But they have excellent adaptive abilities. He is very good at adapting, choosing the right people (his intuition is very strong) behind whom he can hide. In general, he will have a good feel for how to integrate into a given situation, and at the same time, due to the lack of leadership ambitions (which Fire gives), he will integrate in such a way as not to disturb anyone. But if, in the absence of Fire and allocated Water, say, Earth is sufficiently represented, the person will be very worried about his financial situation, about stability, since he will be very materially oriented. If instead of Earth there is Air, then such a person will be very contactable, but at the same time his contacts will be deeply emotional. Getting very involved in other people's stories. He will love to talk about feelings in general, including his own.

LACK OF LAND. The earth, among other things, gives a person “adulthood”, a serious attitude towards life, and the ability to take on obligations. The predominance of Fire is essentially an empty projector, a person full of ideas and aspirations, but unable to complete anything. If this person is surrounded, or subordinate, there are people who are capable of taking on the implementation of Fire projects, then his life can be very productive. Another question is that people can use his ideas for their own personal purposes, and then Fire “will work for someone.” Those. There will be no practical use for HIM from his ideas and projects, while someone (the one with a strong Earth) can make a great profit from the ideas of Fire.

Air predominance - the simplest option - impractical ideas. Naturally, such a person will be even more unnecessary and have an even more easy-going approach to life than “pure” Air. Naturally, it will be difficult for him to take his responsibilities seriously, or rather, it will not be difficult for him, he approaches life very lightly and cheerfully. Another question is that it will be difficult for people who expect some kind of seriousness from him. For both male elements, the absence of Earth gives an even greater detachment from material wealth. This situation for people with a predominance of Fire is good for creativity, since a person creates without regard to the material value of his work. People of the air element can realize themselves in the epistolary genre, since it does not depend on whether the book is sold or not - it does not matter in this case.

Predominance of Water - to say that a person with a predominance of Water will be impractical because the Earth is not represented is not correct. All female Signs (i.e., the Signs of Water and Earth) are, in the everyday sense, very practical and materially oriented, just as all women are, willy-nilly, materially oriented. Men are offended by this, but in reality - they simply do not understand - they, like the male elements (Fire, Air), are oriented outward - towards recognition, towards an idea, towards personal success. In fact, the male elements are idealists. Another thing is women’s! Like simple, earthly women, the Feminine Elements are aimed inward - at conception, birth, upbringing, cultivation, maintaining the hearth, etc. And, as you know, everything that grows and develops needs to be eaten - hence the natural financial orientation of women - money for us is an opportunity and at least a relative guarantee of the continuation of life. Therefore, it is impossible to say that Water without Earth will be impractical. Another question is that of course the emphasis will be shifted. If the main thing for the Earth is that there is a “bag of flour”. For Water, the main thing is that there is emotional intimacy. But even at the same time, say, a man emotionally immersed in her, who lies on the sofa and dreams of castles in the air, when there is nothing in the house, will not be suitable for her either. Moreover, such a person (without the Earth) cannot be called a workaholic - this is actually the main disadvantage of the combination. Here, of course, at the first opportunity, obligations will be shifted. Naturally, earthly practicality, prudence, and the ability to plan will not be there either. The attitude towards obligations is peculiar - if the mood allows it, everything is done, if not, then simply “hands do not rise” - asking, let alone demanding, something other than “have pity, hug” will simply be useless.

ABSENCE OF AIR Air gives lightness, the ability to be objective and the ability to live here and now.

The predominance of Fire is a very strong subjectivity. There can be no talk of any “other people’s” opinion here; there can be no other people’s opinion at all. Focus only on yourself. In addition, such people often accuse intellectuals of being useless (just like people with a predominance of Earth, in the absence of Air). In addition, strong subjectivism is also expressed in the fact that a person drags everything onto himself - no matter what anyone says, it seems to him that this is all “a stone in his garden.” But on the other hand, strong fire, of course, gets involved in any situation, since, again, the position “my house is on the edge” is not typical for Fire, and even more so in the absence of Air.

Predominance of the Earth - The Earth is initially afraid of changes, since its antagonist Air is responsible for them. And in this case, when something changes in the life of the Earth, it, AS A RULE, is not ready for these changes. Even if they are planned and initiated by the Earth itself, it does not easily endure them - you have to get used to it. Well, if they happened without her knowledge or desire, then such a person will be unsettled for a long time, until he regains some kind of stability. Of course it won't be easy. But the obligations will be fulfilled unconditionally.

Predominance of Water - a person treats everything too emotionally and deeply personally. He perceives any words through the prism of his feelings. If someone, in a conversation about other people, somehow spoke unflatteringly about the traits of those people that Nativ also has, then he will be offended as if they were talking about him. In general, I tend to drag everything onto myself. as always, in the absence of Air, there is a lack of lightness and a detached attitude.

LACK OF WATER Water is emotion, empathy, the ability to feel and empathize

Predominance of Fire – Fire is not a reagent anyway. So, everything needs to be told to him in plain text (for the specifics of interaction with Fire, see the previous lecture). So, he doesn’t understand the Water Ones – “you’re looking at me wrong!” “You’re not like that today!” And here, of course, everything will be intensified many times over. no sensitivity. There is no way to see other people's experiences. He can see other people's problems and can solve them, but other people's experiences are a dark forest for him. There may be no ability to accept the weak as worthy. A relationship with a Water type person can be useful, but of course, especially at first, it is very difficult. If these are truly dear people, it is very likely that in the end both will learn their own way - one of greater sensitivity (this is Fire without Water), the other of less vulnerability. But the path ahead of them is not an easy one. Fire, in the absence of Water in the horoscope, will not understand Water’s claims, and will very quickly get tired of Water’s obsession and clinginess (this is how he perceives the need for close emotional contact of the Water person). Water will suffer from the constant, incomprehensible irritation of Fire. He attracts her with his strength and charisma. She reaches out to him, as they say, “clings” to him, but he constantly distances himself. She is offended and cries - and he gets irritated. The predominance of the Earth - it is obvious that such a person will be dry. It will be difficult for him to show his emotions, even to the people closest to him (especially Capricorns, of course). Moreover, this does not mean that he will not feel. His affections are likely to be very strong, but it will be very difficult for him to talk about them and express them. For example, it will be a big problem for him to cry and talk about what worries him and scares him. Others may evaluate such a person as very strong and insensitive. But it is important to remember that Earth is a feminine element, and therefore receptive and very sensual, and the absence of Water makes it extremely unprotected from a large number of internal blocks. It should be noted that such a person, of course, will be very stress-resistant (due to low sensitivity), another question is that it will not be easy for him to get rid of the resulting stress. By the way, it is worth noting that such people, as a result of their inability to “relieve” emotional stress, may have serious health problems.

The predominance of Air , which occurs in life, does not in any way affect the person himself. This is the type of observer who is interested in everything. He is interested in everything, he participates in everything, he knows everything about everyone, but he does not participate in anyone’s life with immersion. He is not characterized by empathy, at the same time, he understands people well on a mental level, easily reads information, will easily do what is expected of him (if he considers it necessary), but of course he will not have any empathy. But, again, the most objective Air, in the absence of Water, is completely devoid of subjectivity and attempts to evaluate each other from their own positions. Very smart, objective, easy-going, but at the same time, not attached (to anything or anyone), not sensitive and not a sensual type.

Absence of elements in the horoscope combination of elements

Interacting with the Elements

Many magicians use the powers of the elements - they are those in charge who follow the path of Wicca (Wiccans) or the path of molfa (molfara). Ceremonial invocations of the dominant spirits of the elements are usually performed only by experienced practitioners of the magical craft. For easier contact, it is recommended to use a meditation-ritual technique that will be beneficial and eliminate the threat.

You can perform the ritual with all the elements at once or divide it into four stages. For the ritual you will need symbols of all the elements. You should prepare a new bowl of water, a bowl of salt and earth, a red painted candle and incense (instead of the latter, you can take a dove or raven feather).

Place these items in accordance with the cardinal directions: the symbol of Fire is south, Air is east, Water is west, Earth is north.

Before you begin an interaction, mentally and verbally ask for space by saying:

The power that rules over everything and everyone. be with me and protect me from all dangers! Let it be so!

Then you need to activate your symbols (or a symbol if you are only familiar with one of the elements). To do this, pick up an object symbol or just look at it intently and say:

The power of the element... (name the appropriate element), filled with the power of faith and love, I ask: come to me! Bless this item, let it be a symbol of your strength. Great element, let there be peace between us!

Now tune in through the symbols to the energy of the elements. Mentally explain that you are approaching with a pure heart and want harmonious interaction. For example, if you dream of becoming more sensual and passionate, or stubborn and active, then, looking at the flame of a red candle, ask the spirits of fire for all this.

When you finish the ritual, do not forget to thank the elements. You can even present a symbolic sacrifice in the form of fruits, honey, etc.

Say words of gratitude to everyone you interacted with:

The power that came to my aid! The power that came to my call! The great power of the element... (name the appropriate element), I thank you for your help and support! Let everything happen for good! Let there be peace between us! Let it be so!

To get a little more comfortable with natural magic, for some time you can work with the elements of the elements in the proposed general system and at the same time (or sometimes) tune in to only one of them.

Over time, you will begin to feel these energies better and, when you need help with a certain issue, you yourself will understand which element it relates to. For example, the sphere of communication falls under the influence of the forces of Air, and trust in the family can be attributed to the sphere of Water; monetary savings are a manifestation of the forces of the Earth. Once you realize what energies you need, you can ask the elemental spirits for help.

We wish everyone fair wind in their sails! Passionate warmth, not burning! A sip of pure living water! The ground under your feet for a confident step!

Having carefully become acquainted with the principles of interaction of the elements, you can use them to create a harmonious environment around you, change your internal state and relationship with the outside world and people. By using the powers of the elements in your life, you can help improve the health of your body.

Everything in the world belongs to one of the elements and is its conductor and tool with which we can work with this or other elements - create, accumulate, change, neutralize their actions.

Having learned the combination of his original elements and understanding their role in the perception of the world, his reactions to the world, a person has the opportunity to consciously adjust his life, that is, change himself, his behavior, attitudes acquired during life, his views, apply the power of the desired color or taste.

Using in your life the energies that control the Universe opens up prospects for any person that allow you to take a fresh look at the life around you. It seems even strange that we did not pay attention to these things before. Knowledge about the elements is quickly filled with everyday common sense, since every person has this knowledge at the subconscious level.

This knowledge is realized by the symbolism of human thinking and is combined with the power of human thought, being a reflection of his mind. The clearer the mind perceives the symbol, the more effective the forces of the elements are. This is how a person’s personal energy begins to help attract flows of energies favorable for life.

Methods of working with the elements allow a person to learn to interact with the constantly changing elements of the surrounding world.

Everyone knows how incomprehensible to us is our attraction to some people and complete rejection of others. People look for an explanation for this in a person’s behavior or appearance, inventing some other motives, and the underlying reasons for such an attitude remain invisible until we know about them. The internal, deep causes of our addictions are revealed through the interaction of the elements.

Moreover, the combination of the elements of the year of birth shows a common way of thinking and outlook on life. The combination of the elements of the month of birth manifests itself in the emotional comfort or discomfort that we experience when meeting and communicating with a person. The combination of birthdays by element speaks of the possible influence of people at the level of the physical body and its functions. For human attraction to occur, it is not at all necessary that the elements coincide. In one case, you need this person as a source of your strength or peace. In another case, you reached out to a person to help him, and he felt in you the possibility of support that he so needed.

Interaction of two active elements.

The two active elements of the year and month, as a rule, influence each other in opposite ways. If one element strengthens another, then that, in turn, destroys the first. In the case of two active elements, you should strengthen and develop the element that acts beneficially in your pair of elements, and neutralize the one that is negative. If the relationship of the elements occurs along the rays of a star, then there is always an element that is located between them in a circle and acts on both native elements, making it possible to harmonize them. For example, the element of the year of birth is active Earth, the element of the month of birth is active Water. Active Water creates the Earth (counterclockwise movement of energy), and active Earth deprives Water of its transparency, changing its properties. The third element here is Metal, which enhances the beneficial effects of Water and restrains the adverse influence of the active Earth on Water.

In the case of a relationship between elements in a circle, the element that brings harmony will be any one standing next to these elements in a circle. By using the powers of this third element in your life, you can establish favorable relationships between the two active elements. For example, a person was born in the year of the active Wood element and in the month of the active Water element. Water nourishes the Tree, but the Tree destroys (drinks) all the Water.

It is possible to maintain and strengthen only the harmonious influence of the element of Water on the element of Wood by using the forces of the element of Fire, which increases the strength of the element of Water and reduces the strength of the element of Wood (Fig. 1).

If both elements (both the year and the month) are active, then it is difficult to influence such a person, he acts on his own; True, the result of these actions depends on what elements they are and how they act together.

Interaction of two passive elements.

The two passive elements of the year and month create psychological problems that require certain correction with the help of the third element. This combination of elements gives little independence to their bearer, and the development of independence requires constant human effort. This requires support and recharge from the elements, which strengthen the native passive element. In addition, passive elements are available to the action of active elements, which act negatively on these elements. To reduce the negative effect of such elements, you need to use the forces of the third element, which strengthens the native passive element, and dampens the one that is harmful to you.

For example, a person was born in the year of the passive Wood element and in the month of the passive Water element. In this pair of elements, only Water, strengthened by other elements, has a beneficial effect on Wood, while Wood has a negative effect on Water. Therefore, it is necessary to choose for harmonization the elements of Fire or Metal, which strengthen the element of Water, but these elements have a negative effect on the element of Wood. This is how it always happens when passive elements coincide, and one should choose the lesser of two “evils”, using the element that will strengthen the desired element.

If both elements are passive, then the person is very dependent on the environment and circumstances in which he finds himself.

Interaction of active and passive elements.

The element of the year and the element of the month, one of which is active and the other passive, create a constant relationship with each other according to the laws of the Star of the Elements. This connection can be positive, when an active element strengthens or creates a passive one, or negative, when the action of an active element produces a destructive or dampening effect. The positive relationship of the elements creates harmony. In case of negative interaction, constant correction is required through the use of the forces of the third element. This should be an element that will strengthen the passive element and neutralize the negative effect of the active element.

The interaction of active and passive elements in a circle counterclockwise.

A person was born in the year of the element of active Earth and in the month of the element of passive Fire. The mind suppresses emotions. In this case, we choose the element of Wood, which strengthens the passive element of Fire and neutralizes the active element of Earth.

The interaction of active and passive elements along the rays of a star in a clockwise direction.

The element of the year of birth is active Water, the element of the month of birth is active Fire. The mind extinguishes emotions. The third element, Wood, improves interaction by enhancing passive fire and reducing the influence of active water.

Selecting a corrective element.

There is no need to worry about an unfavorable combination of radical elements. Everything can be adjusted. It's just that some problems are more obvious and easier to solve than others. First, you should carefully write down everything, diagnose it and systematically pay attention to it. Knowledge of the laws of the elements provides each person with scope for creative solutions to correct their condition, of course, carefully thought out and based on the basis of knowledge about the elements. As with everything, working with the elements requires some practice, and then the information itself will begin to be deposited in a person’s memory and produce the necessary “recipes” in time.

No individual characteristic of an element is bad, but only becomes so if it causes damage to a person in an unfavorable combination. And favorable factors can also cause trouble if they are in excess or appear at the wrong time.

To effectively use the energies of the elements, you need to learn to see a broader picture of their interaction, taking into account the action of transit elements - a “view from above”, in order to decide which means to use, when and for how long.

The chosen solution is often surprisingly simple.

The necessary corrective element can have a double effect: neutralize the threatening element and strengthen or create the element that is negatively affected.

Table 6. Interaction of elements according to the rays of the Star

Balancing the Elements Whatever the original elements, a person should actively express them. But you should also attract other elements into your life, which have a beneficial effect on the original elements, regulate them and stimulate them to develop. For a passive element, active elements are needed that stimulate its existence: For example, for a passive Earth, the following elements are needed: ♦ active Water, which creates it ;♦ active Fire, which strengthens it;♦ active Wood, which muffles it and transforms it, loosens it with its roots so that new shoots can be sown and the Earth would not turn into stone;♦ active Metal, which destroys the old, outdated, that is helps to cleanse yourself and get rid of what is no longer needed.

An active element requires passive elements that accept its energies, allowing the active element to conduct energies through itself and not create stagnation and tension. For example, for active Metal the following elements are needed: ♦ passive Water, which the element of metal enhances; ♦ passive Wood, the element of which the active metal muffles, preventing it from growing unnecessarily; ♦ passive Fire, the element of which is created by Metal, which strikes a spark and ignites the fire. ♦ passive The land he plows.

Active elements need to control their possible negative actions in relation to passive elements, which cannot always protect themselves from them.

Air is the breath of eternity

The element of Air is the most difficult for us to perceive due to the fact that air fills all space, but at the same time is invisible to the eye. Usually this element is used to demonstrate talents and reveals the gift of learning. Magicians ask the spirits of Air to help them read people's thoughts and master the ability of telepathy.

You can turn to the element of Air in order to cleanse the mind and consciousness both from negative thoughts and from outside intrusion. The Spirits of Air (also called the spirits of Wind) are asked for protection during travel or all sorts of adventures, especially where you need to feel inner lightness. In addition, the power of the elements is used to heal the respiratory system.

In mystical teachings, the eagle is considered an animal symbolizing the power of Air, since it personifies the statement that air is a conductor of wisdom.

The colors most often used to represent this element are blue or light yellow.

A magical attribute of ritual practice that carries the power of the element and is at the same time its sign is a dagger or a feather. Although sometimes incense is also considered such a symbol, since smoke indicatively frames air currents and is very close to our perception of the elements in order to personify air.

Gods and magic

In this blog I want to take a closer look at the number “5” within my theme. Unfortunately, I cannot bring to your attention five-faced gods, but this number is also sacred and significant, as it symbolizes the 5 elements that make up all that exists.

These five elements, being in a cyclical harmony of creation and destruction, continuously influencing each other, create a vicious circle, which, if considered from the point of view of the emanations of Unity, creates the impulse, the energy from which Life arises.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the Eastern and Western traditions this sacred five is different. I will analyze the Western concept (it began with the thinkers of Ancient Greece, then the development was ensured by the alchemists of the Middle Ages), but for comparison, first I will briefly talk about the eastern version (primarily China), which, I think, is already familiar to many from the Chinese that has taken root in our country art of Feng Shui.

So, let's look to the East.

Before the five elements in the eastern system of the Universe there are several previous levels:

— Primordial Chaos (Hun Dong);

— Limitless or “No limit” (Wu Ji);

— Great Limit (Tai Chi);

/ isn’t it true, they strongly resemble the Kabbalistic Ain Sof Aur (Endless Light), Ain Sof (Infinity) and Ain (Nothingness)? :)

- Yin Yang.

And finally, what follows is U-sin (Five elements; five elements; five actions) .

This is one of the main categories of Chinese philosophy; a five-member structure that determines the basic parameters of the universe. In addition to philosophy, it is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine, fortune telling, martial arts, and numerology. Includes five classes that characterize the state and relationship of all existing objects and phenomena.

Wood – Fire – Earth – Metal – Water

Water is a symbol of organic life. She is born in complete silence and unshakable calm, and is the food and source of life for the tree. The tree strives upward, spreads its branches to the sides, and its energy is the key to growth and forward movement. The tree then becomes the source of life for the fire. Hot and pulsating, it represents active activity. Having burned, the fire turns into ashes or earth, which accumulates and stores all its energy. Metal is born in the depths of the earth - this is the purified and perfect embodiment of the earth. The purest metal is liquid metal, symbolizing water. Thus, the circle of generation closes and everything begins again.

On the other hand, each of the elements controls and suppresses the other ( circle of destruction ). The metal cuts (saws) the Tree, which, in turn, controls (penetrates with its roots) the Earth, receiving useful substances from it. Earth stops the flow of Water, Water extinguishes Fire, and Fire melts Metal.

This is a stable and harmonious system, but I would like to dwell on the Western tradition, which highlights not only the other five elements (and, accordingly, their Elementals), but also the Spirits of these Elements.

Let me explain the difference right away.

An elemental (elemental) is an entity that has the energy of only one Element. In contrast, for example, from people - complex beings who contain and hold within themselves in different proportions the energies of different Elements. Elementals do not have personality or individuality as such, but are in some sense intelligent. As a rule, these entities are hostile towards people, because... humanity is trying to subjugate the Elements (and often unwisely uses them for its own purposes). They need to be handled carefully, because at any moment they can take revenge with natural disasters (landslides, tsunamis, tornadoes, forest fires) or less global troubles.

The Spirit of an Element is already a class of creatures that express the basic idea (properties) of their Element. They, in addition to the strength of their element, have much greater free will and treat people much more individually.

The first attempts to search for the “initial building blocks” of the Universe began in Ancient Greece, and already Plato and Aristotle, who, along with Empedocles, are considered the founders of the concept of the four Elements, actually believed that there were five . Moreover, the fifth element (quinta essentia lat., literally “fifth essence”) is the most important. This is a spiritualizing principle, an Element of a higher order, what was later called Ether .

Paracelsus went further.

Following the example of ancient philosophers, he divided the whole world into 5 Elements. But he also described the Spirits of each element (though he called them just elementals, but probably this confusion was due to the common practice of medieval alchemists to “cipher” sacred knowledge).

And again: Air - Fire - Water - Earth .

These four energies, which everyone knows about (let me remind you that in modern physics there are also 4 aggregate states of matter - solid, liquid, gas and plasma), visibly and constantly participate in the cycle of things, continuously feeding and destroying each other. Many occultists divide them into pairs of opposites: Fire-Water, Earth-Air. It should be noted here that balance (the Yin-Yang principle) is maintained in everything. Air and Fire are traditionally masculine Elements, Water and Earth are feminine. It is no coincidence that in the names of the Elements in Russian there is precisely such a ratio of feminine and masculine nouns.

And the 5th element is Ether , which in the Western tradition in this context is considered as all that exists, Life, Unity, Cosmic Energy.

That. Ether is energy, on the one hand, arising from the contact of the 4 Elements described above and is the result of their interaction. On the other hand, Ether is an impulse, a force, an activator that sets all these Elements in motion. Ether is a child receiving the power of its parents, and at the same time itself is the great beginning of Everything. I remember a question that philosophers have never found an answer to: what comes first - matter or energy? In other words: “the egg or the chicken”?

Let everyone look for the answers themselves, but I will return to my topic.

Each of the material Elements (air, fire, water, earth) is inhabited by the Spirits of these elements. I will describe them all in more detail according to the classification of the aforementioned Paracelsus.

Spirits of the Air element - Sylphs (believed to have been invented by Paracelsus).

They are transparent and barely visible. Sylphs never fall to the ground, and only forever soar in the air in the form of an eternally young youth (rarely a girl). They have an extremely cheerful and playful disposition. They, being Air itself, and the air element, as is known, is responsible for mentality, thought, are elusive, fleeting and unstoppable.

Dealing with Sylph is useful in two cases.

1. If your thoughts are like him: they flutter from one to another, you cannot concentrate on anything, your memory weakens. The sylph is also responsible for contacts and connections. Having trouble generating lasting interest in someone? Are you unable to concentrate on a specific object? Work with Air.

2. On the contrary. Some thought or idea has taken possession of your mind and you cannot get rid of it. An obsessive state arises and anxiety increases. In this case, you should also contact Sylph - he will help you balance and put your thoughts in order.

Spirits of the element of Fire - Salamanders (believed to have been invented by Paracelsus).

These are creatures that look very similar to a lizard, only consisting of continuous blazing fire. Often an unbearable heat emanates from the salamander. It is salamanders that are the source of fires and fires. Their function is both destruction and renewal. Salamanders are capricious and difficult to control.

But it will be useful to communicate with her if you:

1. You want to achieve a goal, but you lack the drive and momentum. From the category: on Monday I will go on a diet or start leading a healthy lifestyle... When I want to, but I’m lazy. This is where the salamander’s help cannot be overestimated. If she likes you, she will be able to “ignite” you and set you in the right mood.

2. When you need to destroy something old and outdated. For example, get rid of past grievances, traumatic relationships, in a word, everything that prevents you from freeing yourself and moving on.

Spirits of the element of Water - Mermaids, Ondines (sea Maidens of European mythology).

Beautiful girls who can live both in water and on land. On moonlit nights they emerge from the water, comb their magnificent hair and sing (sirens). In the legends and myths of other peoples, on the contrary, they die on land, do not have a voice, and their strength lies only in external attractiveness. Water is our emotions.

It will be useful to work with the Spirit of Water if:

1. You are too fluid. You can’t stop at a specific task, the flow carries you further and further, a huge number of started but unfinished tasks accumulate that “pressure” on you, and you “drown” in them.

2. And vice versa. If you are mired in some business or task, like in a swamp and cannot budge. When it seems to you that if you don’t solve it, you will remain to die in this swamp. When you hit a wall with your forehead and realize it, but can’t stop. This is where magical water can come to your aid, which will not chisel the stone, but will “flow around it from all sides, wash it, sharpen it,” and the insurmountable obstacle will cease to be such in your eyes.

Well, the last element is Earth. The spirits that personify it are Dwarves (the prototype was probably the miniatures - characters from Northern mythology).

An underground dweller, guardian of the Earth's riches. Angry bearded short creature. The prerogative of a gnome is the skill, craft, art of doing and creating. Everything the gnome does is not just good. It's perfect. It simply cannot be better. Because that's how Gnome works. But he does not delve into the sphere of the invisible, relationships; for example, he is an ideal artisan. And he creates only what can be touched, he creates visible, completely material things. Traditionally, the Dwarf was the Great Blacksmith and forged the Great Glorious Swords. It was not for nothing that people went to the Dwarves with a request to provide them with the Dwarf Sword - the Sword That Knows No Defeat.

Now such Swords have lost their former relevance, but working with the Spirit of the Earth can be beneficial if:

1. You are the one whose activities bring concrete, visible and obvious results. Maybe you bake buns? Or are you creating a new clothing design? Or do you knit toys? But you lack zest... Like in paintings - a master’s touch? Then you should go to the Gnome. It will add a refined aroma to the buns, add unprecedented sophistication to your clothes, and fill your dolls with personality. He is the Master. That's right, with a capital letter.

2. If you are cut off from the Earth, you feel that you can, but for some reason you can’t, do something REALLY with your hands, from the category: I would become a carpenter, and joiner, and painter, let them teach me ... and as a builder I can too, in general I can do everything, but a little bit at a time... Make friends with the Gnome! He will show you the way and illuminate the road, help you decide on a profession and, if he likes you, he will teach you SKILL.

Many researchers believe that contact with Elementals and Elemental Spirits is dangerous, since they are initially unfriendly to humans. I do not share this point of view and in my next blogs I will tell you how to work with the Elements and learn to be friends with their Spirits.

Best regards, Oriole.

Fire – the heat of purification and strength

The element of Fire, compared to Air, is more manifested in the visible material plane. Looking at a candle flame, for example, we can see its concentrated manifestation. Magically, fire corresponds to the sphere of strong emotions - passionate love, hatred, sex, war, the process of competition, struggle and active defense.

The energy of the element of Fire is useful for accelerating career advancement and attracting success in life. Fire is a good helper for a quick recovery, as it carries a charge of physical and spiritual strength at the same time. This aspect of the element is often used by healers. The fire element is very strong and often finds application in natural magic, so it is not surprising that when a novice magician imagines the very concept of energy, very often his visualization is filled with images of fire.

The energy of Fire can be aimed at strengthening fortitude, perseverance, and courage. It is precisely these characteristics that probably made the lion a mystical animal, a symbol of Fire.

Crimson tones, orange and red colors are suitable for the color designation of the element.

In ritual practice, Fire corresponds to such magical attributes as a wand and a red candle.

Many people are interested in elemental magic. This direction includes various ways of interacting with the elements. I'll tell you about my method of work. Let me clarify right away that this will not be material about working with elementals or elemental spirits. And with the whole element as a whole.

All methods outlined here have been tested in practice. I must say that there is nothing fundamentally new here. The advantages are that there are no financial costs (except, perhaps, for trips to nature). Required skills: ability to visualize; to concentrate attention on the subject; the ability to clearly define what you want; the ability to see or feel the energies that you are currently working with. All work is done through energy pathways. The disadvantage of this method is that it takes some time to learn it if you are not used to working this way.

I highlight four traditional elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. I work with them remotely and in contact.

Contact method

This is direct work with the element by immersion in it. If this is the Earth, then we work accordingly where there is soil, or stone, or plants. It’s even better if you manage to go to the mountains or forest. We work with Water near bodies of water or even in them. With Fire - near a fire or in a place brightly lit by the sun. You can work with Air anywhere, but it works best in open spaces where the wind blows. The very first step in work is to connect with the elements. I tune in to one of them and try to feel that I am inside it. This may seem easy, since, for example, when interacting with Air, we are actually inside it (after all, it is everywhere). But you need to feel yourself inside the elements on an energetic level. You are energy. And she is in the energy of the elements. Then I realize that I am one with her. But you need to not realize it mentally, but feel it physically. For example, if I work with Air, then I tune in to the wind. And gradually a feeling of lightness appears, as if the wind is passing through me, as if I am completely made of air. This suggests that my energy has adjusted to the energy of the elements (let's call things in simple words). After this, a spontaneous surge of strength begins, because the element has enormous energy, incommensurate with the energy of a person. Physically, this is expressed in the fact that you feel very good, you are full of strength, the desire to do something awakens, you feel that you can move mountains. Your mood improves.

When this becomes good, you can try to connect with two elements, with three, and, finally, with all of them at once, anywhere in nature. For example, somewhere on the beach near a pond on a sunny day.

Which element is best to work with? As a rule, all people find it easiest to interact with the Earth. Because it is closest to us in its energies. It is dense, like our physical body, it is solid, and we live on it. In fact, walking on the ground (sand, grass) a person is always nourished by it.

In second place for me is Fire - an element designed to give off energy. She was created for this.

It happens differently with Water and Air. Some prefer one, some prefer the other. Personally, for me it’s easier to work with Water, but with Air it’s the most difficult. But since it is everywhere, it gives you the most practice.

In addition, Earth energy is the easiest to absorb. She is not like a human, but most of all she resembles her. But the discharged energy of Air is much more difficult to process. It's the same with Fire and Water. The water doesn’t want to give it up at all. Therefore, as a result, when you take energy from these elements, you simultaneously spend part of your strength in order to assimilate it and adjust it to yourself. Therefore, the energy surge is less than from the Earth, or the session should last longer. The Earth's energy also needs to be processed, but this is easier. It must be said that this fact is not felt during the interaction. They explained it to me. I didn’t think this was so before, but then I checked it myself and agreed. How to use the ability to interact with the elements? For any magical work. The elements have enormous energy. Therefore, if I need to make a magical effect, then I don’t have to perform it using personal power. So as not to waste your energy, not to feel tired later, and so on. You don’t have to ask for help from higher powers, don’t pay off debts, or don’t do anything else that must be done depending on the type of force with which the practitioner works.

I have long wanted to learn how to transform the energy of the elements into some other one. Since elemental magic is neutral, you can use its power to make any impact.

You need to tune in to the element and feel that you and it are one. And then, with the help of visualization, we direct the flow of elemental energy to where we need it. Let us visualize that the energy is changing.

To make it clear, I will explain with examples from my experience. On one occasion I needed healing energy. I decided to work with the element of Air, since it was winter and a strong wind was blowing outside.

I went outside. I tuned in to the energy of the wind until I identified myself with it. Then I introduced the person I needed to cure. This person developed a severe skin allergy (an illness that does not require emergency medical attention!). She concentrated on the affected area and sent green healing energy there. Still mine for now. Then, using visualization, I took a large amount of wind energy (air flow), which I was attuned to, and converted this energy into green healing energy, and then directed it to the affected area. Then I stopped giving my strength.

The effect, I must say, exceeded my expectations. There was a lot of healing energy and it was very powerful. A very large flow went to the site of the lesion, and I no longer needed to use my energy. The wind did everything itself. Moreover, the wind was blowing and the energy was flowing. I didn't even need to control him. After a few minutes, I blocked this flow with the help of visualization. The wind began to blow on its own, and the work was completed. I decided that it was not worth carrying out such an effect for more than a few minutes, because it could harm the person.

In total, I did three sessions over two days, each session lasting several minutes. The result on the second day is the almost complete disappearance of the allergic reaction, almost clear skin. At the same time, the loss of my own energy is almost zero. After the cessation of exposure, the disease did not return.

If you tune in, for example, to the energy of the wind, and transform it into healing energy, then the further impact occurs without the intervention of the practitioner. Wind energy directed at a person automatically turns into healing energy and performs the given work. The practitioner can stand and look at this or go about his business, but if he does not specifically close this channel - the flow, then the influence can continue continuously for an indefinitely long time (as long as the wind blows), without any recharge.

But I haven’t used an infinitely long exposure in practice. Theoretically, I think you need to fake it several times a day. That is, repetition of visualization and direction of energy.

When discussing this method on the sidelines with other esotericists, they expressed the opinion to me that in this way I had done damage to the wind or a transfer, that the wind would blow over the first person it met and what I was treating would be transferred to him. Well, then I spoiled it and didn’t translate it. But I do not exclude the possibility of such a mistake.

Damage instead of treatment using this method will not work, because the energy only goes in one direction. The wind energy becomes healing and goes only where the practitioner directed it. To the affected area. The force in this case is the air flow. The rest of the wind in the entire area has nothing to do with the ritual.

And a mistake can happen if the practitioner does not concentrate well enough on where the energy flow should go. And he will not go towards the right person, but with the wind. Since we have healing energy, there will still be no damage in this case. But if it turns out to be a different energy... Or an even more unlikely option - if the flow of air overwhelms the disease, and then breaks out and goes wherever the wind blows. This is more like a computer game, and this can only happen if the practitioner is in a very bad mood and, moreover, cannot see or feel the energies with which he is working, so that they go to God knows where. Therefore, I draw your attention to the fact that the visualization of the flow of force should be very clear and the purpose of the influence extremely specific. You must define exactly what you want to achieve. Specifically. And direct the force in a strictly defined direction with a specific task. Because it depends on the practitioner what the energy of the elements is transformed into. Is it healing energy, is it purifying energy, and so on.

What kind of protection is needed? Your usual. No additional required. Because the work does not happen through oneself.

Another example. I needed to strengthen the protection on the person. A protective screen had already been installed previously. The goal was to prevent other esotericists from viewing the person. A screen was placed on his personal power. I decided to try to strengthen this protection with the help of the energy of the element of Fire. The work was carried out in a sunny place. I tuned in to the sun, felt like one with it (I’ll make a reservation that it’s very hot))) and directed a beam from it (that is, a flow of energy) into the person’s shield. Everything is visual. I set the task: to strengthen the shield with the help of the energy of the sun so that it becomes denser and does not allow the “gazes” of other esotericists to pass to the person. What I saw was how golden energy went from the sun into the shield and completely filled it. At the same time, the man felt the compaction of his protection. That’s it, I stopped further exposure, fearing that the shield would become too heavy. The result was assessed as follows: several practitioners tried to view it, but no one succeeded. Of course, this test cannot be called completely objective, since there can always be a more experienced and powerful magician. But, in any case, the person no longer felt that someone was trying to watch him. (Before the ceremony there were such feelings, which was the reason for the work).

I was asked how I feel about the fifth element, ether, metal, and so on. I personally only work with four elements. But I don’t deny the presence of others—different traditions distinguish different types of elements. Therefore, if you are comfortable working with a large number of them and you can tune in to them and visualize their action - everything is in your hands.

Remote method

It is based on the fact that the practitioner is not in nature, but, say, at home on the couch. In room. In the city. And all the work is based on visualization alone. To do this, you need to tune in somewhere in advance to some element. Well, for example, on a river - the element of Water. Next, you need to remember this feeling of unity with the elements, so that you can then evoke it in yourself at any time and in any place. To simplify the task, you can develop some kind of gesture (clench your fist, wave your hand - whatever, preferably some ordinary and not attracting attention movement) - and perform it many times near the Water. They made a gesture and plunged into a state of unity with the elements. After repeated repetitions, a skill, a reflex, will be formed, and the transition to the desired state will occur every time you make this gesture. After which you will be able to work with the energy of Water even in a concrete building in the middle of the city.

So, you are good at working with some element, and you need to make an impact. But you are far from nature. We make a movement, a feeling of unity with the desired element appears - and you can operate with its energy in the same way as with the contact method. Direct it in the same way, create flows - and you will see or feel exactly the same energies, and you will also be able to control their direction.

There is an easier option, but also more energy-consuming. You can reach out to a source of natural energy. You can create a channel with it. For example, with a river. And reach there from the city building, receiving energy. But this channel must either be constantly maintained, which is not very practical, or a new one must be created each time, which is also not very practical. But probably.

I also believe that it is very important to work with a specific source of elemental energy. That is, if it is a river, then it is completely real and concrete, if it is a wind, then it is the one that is blowing now and with which you can come into contact. Therefore, for the remote method, it is better to practice with a specific river and then access it remotely.

Because if you simply visualize a body of water in your head, make a gesture and feel contact with the energy - but at the same time try to take it from an imaginary source, then you will end up working on personal power. That's all. Moreover, the strength will be spent not only on work, but also on unnecessary visualization. The image of a pond is only in your head and was created there.

And one moment. During discussions with other practitioners, the remark was made that a person cannot work with any elements at all except the Earth. Because she is the one who is closest to everyone, and everything else is fantasy + work on personal strength. I tested this assumption in practice, and yet it turned out differently. After repeated checks and experiments, using the ability to see and feel my energy and those around me, I realized that this is working with the energies of all four elements.

I don’t argue that, thanks to cinema, many fantasies are associated with elemental magic, and people interpret this direction itself in different ways, but there is something to work on, and during practice, all fantasies are separated from existing reality.

Another possible question is: why should the elements help a person in his affairs? Just like that? Man is part of this world. The elements are also part of this world. The world is a single whole, and everything in it is interconnected. Man and nature constantly exchange energies, and this is the norm. It’s just that most often the exchange occurs unconsciously. And, of course, a practitioner working with nature will never treat it as a consumer. Not because he doesn’t want to harm nature, but because for him it’s simply impossible.

Water is a breath of purity and life

The element of Water is present in our lives, in the human body. It carries magical powers that correspond to the ability to purify, remember, the sphere of flexibility and sensuality. If Fire controlled strong emotions, then tender feelings are the sphere of Water. Love based on tenderness, sensuality, and shared memories corresponds to the element of Water.

The energy of Water helps you better understand yourself and others, teaches you how to interact with people and be part of a team. The power of the elements is directed to develop ingenuity, flexibility of thought, and good reaction.

The element of Water, as well as the energy of Fire, is often used in healing practice. It carries the power of cleansing and relieves chronic ailments.

Water, as a rule, is used for rituals that evoke memories not only from the present life, but also from the previous one. Consequently, the power of Water is also useful in “karmic” matters.

The mystical symbol of this element is the snake; Aquarius is also often depicted as a person pouring water from a jug.

The colors of the elements are all shades of blue, aquamarine, turquoise, silver-white.

The attribute denoting this element is a bowl of water.

Chinese philosophy: five seasons - five elements

In the fifth century BC, the Greek physician Hippocrates argued that human health depended on the balance of the four bodily fluids, which corresponded to their counterparts in nature: air, water, fire and earth.

The same idea - with the addition of a fifth component (ether) - is reflected in the ancient Indian medicine Ayurveda. And finally, for thousands of years, Chinese philosophy has viewed health as the harmony of the five elements - wood, fire, earth, metal and water

. These five components form the basis of the concept of Feng Shui, acupuncture, Qigong, and the martial arts of China.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is a holistic approach to human health, each of the five elements corresponds to a season, life stage, color, shape, time of day, emotion, activity, and internal organ.

Spring – Tree

The wood element is associated with the spring season, a time of birth and new beginnings. According to Chinese traditional medicine, spring is the time when we open up to the world. During this period, it is important to maintain “stability in the wind”; in body language this means: paying special attention to the spine, limbs, joints, as well as muscles, ligaments and tendons. In the spring, it is also important to take care of the liver, which cleanses the blood and produces bile, which helps metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

To maintain liver function, the following is recommended: drink plenty of water with lemon juice, this drink nourishes the liver. Give preference to light, raw foods: sprouts, fruits, greens, nuts and seeds. Avoid alcohol and fried foods.

In addition to diet, there are other ways to balance the wood element. This component corresponds to the early morning hours. Just as morning is a great time to plan your day, spring is the best season to reflect and determine what you want your future to look like. “Take time to make a new life plan, describe how you want to feel, what you want to do, who you want to see next”

, suggests Dr. Elson Haas, founder of the Preventative Health Center in San Rafael, California.

Summer – Fire

Fire is warmth, transformation, dynamics. Solar warmth, long days, people full of energy - all this thanks to the fire received from the heat of the sun. “In the cycle of the five elements, fire is the peak of power,” writes Gail Reichstein in Wood Turns to Water: Chinese Medicine in Everyday Life. “Fire is the peak—the achievement of maximum activity.”

Cardio exercises are especially recommended in summer because fire controls the heart and blood circulation. It is also responsible for the small intestine, which in traditional Chinese medicine is inextricably linked to the heart. The small intestine transforms the foods we eat into components suitable for the body, which enter directly into the blood. The latter moves to the heart and circulates through the rest of the system. By feeding your body toxic food, your small intestine is less likely to do its job of passing on beneficial nutrients.

From a Chinese medicine perspective, a person can have too much or too little of an element, which causes illness and/or emotional symptoms. Fire deficiency is characterized by a lack of activity. Signs may include a cold, weakness, lack of inspiration. In case of insufficient

fire in the body, warming foods are recommended:
pepper, ginger, citruses, butter, corn, berries and basmati rice
.

When is there too much

, this often leads to overstimulation and excessive activity.
To counteract this, Reichstein suggests bitter foods such as dandelion, almonds, romaine lettuce, green onions, as well as cooling foods such as cucumber, sprouts, watermelon, apples, lemons and limes.
During the “fiery” period, it is important to exclude meat, eggs and oils.

Summer is the ideal time for hearty (but healthy!) lunches and intimate meetings with friends, as fire is associated with connection.

Late Summer - Earth

The earth is a stabilizing force. After all the activities of spring and summer, the earth element helps us ground ourselves and prepare for the autumn harvest and then winter - the season of rest and tranquility.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the earth element is associated with the spleen, pancreas and stomach - the digestive and nutritional organs. Choose sweet foods carefully in late summer, the best options are: pears, carrots, dates, figs, grapes, sweet potatoes, milk, peaches.

Also, pay special attention to HOW you eat. Eating food slowly and steadily in moderation will allow the stomach and spleen to function at their best. Movement after eating is recommended as it helps with digestion, absorption and distribution of nutrients.

Autumn – Metal

The season of harvest, waning days and preparation for winter. The metallic element, from coarse ore to sparkling gemstones, symbolizes the process of purification/processing and its final product.

. In the fall, it is important to make sure that everything is clean, everything necessary is used, and everything unnecessary is eliminated.

The Chinese do not include the element of air in their system, but metal is of a similar nature. “For example, both air and metal energy represent psychic and spiritual activity, including the workings of the mind, intellect, and communication,” writes Janice MacKenzie in Discovering the Five Elements: One Day at a Time. “In fact, inability being open to new ideas or clinging to old thoughts/beliefs may be a sign of metal imbalance.”

.

A metal-balancing diet consists of hearty, warm dishes, nuts, oils, and some spices: mustard, pepper, Roquefort. Root vegetables - potatoes, carrots, garlic and onions. Fruits – banana and mango. Cayenne pepper, ginger and curry help with digestion.

Winter – Water

The cold and dark season is a time of reflection, rest and restoration. Winter is associated with water - the element of calm, representing flow

. In the body, the water element is associated with the circulation of blood, sweat, tears, the bladder and, most importantly, the kidneys.

“In Chinese medicine, the kidneys are especially revered,” says Shoshanna Katzman, founder and director of the New Jersey Wellness Center and author of the qigong book “Qigong for Staying Young.” “The kidneys are the root of all the energy in your body.”

In order to keep your kidneys healthy, it is important to keep them warm and nourished and hydrated. Therefore, it is very important not to let your lower back get cold, just as it is unacceptable to drink cold drinks.

In winter, the body needs warming soups, whole grains, ginger drinks and cinnamon tea. To strengthen the kidneys: black beans, red adzuki beans, seaweed and steamed greens.

A simple way to be more connected to the elements of water: use sea salt instead of regular table salt. It is worth noting that extremely moderate amounts of salt are needed for healthy kidney function.

Winter is a period of economical energy consumption, but this does not mean that you need to be immobile. Tai chi, qigong, yoga are the best forms of activity during the winter months.

Associated with introspection, receptivity and the night, the winter season is a good time to realize your dreams.

When the five elements are in harmony, they mutually support each other: water feeds wood, wood feeds fire, fire creates earth, earth produces metal, and metal produces water (by condensation). But when the elements are out of balance, they can harm each other. In the destructive cycle, water extinguishes fire, wood divides earth, metal cuts wood, fire melts metal, earth absorbs water.

By making an effort to restore the balance of the elements in your body, you can be on the path to improved health and vitality. Maintain balance - reap the benefits of excellent health!

System of two principles and five elements

Fu Xi, the legendary first emperor of China

The concepts of yin and yang have existed in Chinese philosophy since ancient times. Yang is the masculine active principle, yin is the feminine passive. Everything in this world, the Chinese believed, consists of opposites: heavenly and earthly, cold and hot, high and low, large and small. In the 5th century BC. e. In China, the philosophical school of Yin-Yang Jia (School of Dark and Light Principles) appeared, which brought together all the knowledge about Yin-Yang. Philosophers of this school developed a whole system that explains the entire universe from the point of view of two opposing principles.

How do yin and yang create the Universe and maintain its harmonious existence? Here we need to mention another category of Chinese philosophy - the five primary elements, or five elements. These are fire, water, metal, wood and earth. The five elements are formed from the interaction of yin and yang with each other. By interacting, they, in turn, create all the enormous diversity of this world, including humans.

The doctrine of the five elements and two principles was not an abstract theory; it was and is still used by the Chinese in many areas of life. Chinese medicine, martial arts, fortune telling and feng shui are based on it. All things and phenomena are considered in relation to the five elements. For example, the element of fire corresponds to the color red, the season - summer, the numbers 2 and 7, the planet Mars, in the human body - the heart, etc.

In Chinese folklore, there are stories about the mystical transformation of yin into yang, where the hero, under the influence of certain magical forces, can change gender. It is believed that these are echoes of occult rituals aimed at the spiritual rebirth of a person

The secret of the impact of TF is the U-SIN system - 5 movements of ENERGY

Before giving knowledge about the U-SIN system, we must say that effective results are impossible without changing the attitude towards your Body and Mind. We do not want to give a “pill for the head”, but to give relief from the CAUSES of diseases. As the ancient Healer said:

- There are three of us. You (the patient), I (the Doctor), and the Disease. Two will always defeat one. Your CHOICE is which side to take.

| Traditional Eastern medicine treats all systems of the body, not a single organ .
Proper removal of toxins and restoration of energy balance occurs. Recipes for TF drugs are taken from the book “Chzhud-Shi” by the Tibetan physician and scientist Yuthog Yondan-Gonpo (1112-1209). Description on Wiki (link) The founder of the Tibetan Formula, Andrei Duiko, carried out a synergistic combination of the ancient recipes of Tibet with the famous Chinese Wu-hsing system.

This is the system we will talk about.

Wu Xing is translated from Chinese as “5 movements”, but you can often find the European name “5 elements”, which does not quite correspond to the essence of the system itself. These elements have names: “wood” “mu”, fire “huo”, earth “tu”, metal “jin”, water “shui”. The wu-xing system is the basis for many practices related to China (both direct and indirect). The principle of Wu Xing is based on: the Chinese traditional calendar, the Feng Shui system, Chinese astrology, the bodily practices of Zhong Yuan Qigong and Taoist Yoga, the internal wushu style “Xingyiquan”, as well as Chinese traditional medicine and much, much more.

According to the teachings of traditional Chinese medicine, the human body has 5 main, and with them 12 essential “organs”, i.e. systems united under the concept of “organ” . Not just a delineated organ from “school medicine”, but a complex system that has a common functional activity. This should be well understood.

| The five main organs (corresponding to movements) include:

  1. “Liver” - with its energetic, cleansing and metabolic activities, nervous regulation and influences on other organs. (TREE)
  2. “Heart” is the entire cardiovascular system with its circulatory function. The heart is also associated with human mental activity. (FIRE)
  3. “Spleen” is a digestive system that carries the function of receiving and processing food, absorbing and using it by the body, and excreting the resulting dense waste. (EARTH)
  4. “Lungs” - the entire respiratory system, partly including the skin. (METAL)
  5. “Kidneys” are the system of urine formation and urination, the entire water-salt metabolism of the body and the secretion of liquid waste, and all humoral regulation (endocrine glands). (WATER)

The reason for the occurrence of pathological changes in the human body is hidden in the system of suppression and anti-oppression. The task of medicine is to restore lost connections in the system of “assembly nodes” of the Chinese star Wu-hsing when the diseased organism has already exhausted its compensatory and adaptive capabilities.

| We will talk about organs in the next part of the article. Next - more details about the system itself »

As soon as a European person learns about wu-sing, he first of all tries to compare it with the more familiar system of the 4 Greek elements, consisting of earth, water, air and fire. Usually the question is formulated like this: “why is there no air in wu-sing, but there is wood and metal.” The answer to this question lies in the correct translation of the hieroglyphs that make up the name “u-sin”. The fact is that U-shin is 5 movements. And since energy is a measure of movement, this is 5 energies. Energy and matter, as is known, are different entities. In fact, “Wu Xing” is an abbreviation for “ Wu Zhong Liu Xing Zhi Qi” or “five types of Qi dominant at different times.” By the way, if we touch on the elements, and not the movements of energy, you can see that the Chinese quite often when calculating The elements do not single out the Earth separately, rightly believing that its energy is present everywhere. Another thing is that it can be in deficiency or excess, which in itself determines the clinical picture of the disease.

The famous philosopher of Ancient China Dong Zhong Shu (c. 180 - c. 120 BC) spoke about it this way: “The Earth occupies a central position, it can be called the all-generating “dampness” of Heaven. (remember the Slavic expression “cheese mother earth”). Earth is Heaven’s assistant, his arms and legs.

Its good and generative power is full and abundant. The earth cannot be associated with the affairs of any one season; it combines the five elements and all four seasons. Metal, Wood, Water and Fire, although they have their own functions, cannot perform them independently of the Earth, just as sour, salty, spicy and bitter cannot form a real taste regardless of sweet.

In other words, just as sweet is the base among the five tastes, earth is the base among the five elements.”

There is another one - a global symbol that describes the patterns of the surrounding reality. This is a Yin and Yang mandala consisting of white and black drops.

Yang, white, is the heavenly principle, Yin, black, is the earthly principle. Yang gives energy, and Yin receives energy and qualitatively transforms energy. The sky gives rain, light, warmth, and the Earth absorbs all this and gives birth to various forms of life, such as grass, trees, animals. The same thing happens with the interaction between a man and a woman on a sexual level: the man gives energy, and the woman accepts it and, transforming it into another quality, gives birth to a child. The principle of Yin and Yang can also be projected onto time. The daylight hours are Yang, and the dark times are Yin, Summer is Yang, and Winter is Yin.

It is with the help of the seasons that it is best to build a bridge from the binary Yin-Yang system to the fivefold Wu Xing system. After all, man is a part of nature, of creation. But at the same time it is not only nature. And the sign of Man is Star . In both eastern and western ancient traditions (remember Da Vinci’s star), a person was represented this way.

| It is very important that everything changes; we do not get sick instantly, but as we develop. Likewise, healing is always a process. It is this healing process - how to heal correctly - that U-sin describes!

But let's return to Yin-Yang. Yin and Yang replace each other not abruptly, but gradually, creating 4 main qualities of energy (4 qualities of movement). In spring, all nature wakes up, night gives way to day, snow melts, growth is noticeable everywhere. Growth, excitement, development - this is the quality of increasing Yang energy. In the daily cycle, the quality of increasing Yang belongs to the morning, which occurs immediately after sunrise. In the morning everything wakes up and comes into motion.

So where to start in this cycle? And let’s start, perhaps, with growth, with spring, with the beginning. Although you can’t force a snake to stop biting its own tail)

| WOOD (YIN – hollow organ “gallbladder”, YANG – dense organ “liver”)

Having been born, a person begins to grow, which he does throughout childhood. Childhood is the spring of life, a time of increasing Yang. In Wu Xing, the quality of growth and excitement corresponds to the "Wood" energy. The energy of “wood” is direct, powerful . A tree is that quality of energy that allows a small sprout to break through the asphalt and open its way to the life-giving light of the sun. It is important not to confuse the energies of Wood with the energies of Fire. Often - if a person is too angry (comes out with bile) or, on the contrary, is tense and incapable of direct, quick, decisive action - you need to look for problems with the energy of the tree. This pathology has both physiological and psychological sides. TREE - beginning, spring, growth, awakening, cardinal direction - east.

| FIRE (YIN – hollow organ “small intestine”, YANG – dense organ “heart”)

Spring gradually turns into summer. Daylight hours reach their maximum duration. Flowers are blooming, trees are leafing out. There is movement everywhere, insects, birds, other animals, all experiencing a phase of maximum activity. Growth is replaced by change, transformation, spontaneity, and an explosion of activity. Qualities of spontaneity, transformation, sensitivity, etc. - various manifestations of Fire energy . The energies of fire can both destroy a person and lead one out of eternal samsara and lead to awakening. FIRE - activity, summer blossoming, maturation, movement, cardinal direction - south.

| EARTH (YIN – hollow organ “stomach”, YANG – dense organ “spleen”)

Summer flowers turn into fruit. For nature it is the height of creation. It's not so hot anymore, but not cold either. Off-season. The daylight hours are shrinking, and the dark hours are just beginning to grow. Maximum Yang has been reached, Yin begins to increase. The energy begins to become refined. The young man becomes mature. Time for full surrender. Next comes assimilation and transformation. The nature of the earth is manifested in the fact that it receives sowing and produces a harvest. This is a classic description. It is very important to understand that the ancients were practitioners - if the heyday lasted longer than the speculative “seasons, which is the revolution of the Earth around the Sun divided into 4 parts” - they described the phenomena in this way - spring and summer for us (our body, consciousness) last longer (at least in China) than frost and snow. Earth is the maturity side of the world no - Earth is designated as the CENTER.

| METAL (YIN – hollow organ “large intestine”, YANG – dense organ “lungs”)

Refinement, calming, increasing sensitivity are indicators of increasing Yin. This type of energy is called “metal”. Here “metal” is taken as an image, meaning the dynamic properties of metal. Metal can melt, changing from its previous solid form to a liquid one, after which it is able to regain a new solid form. The metal sword is flexible but sharp. The energy of metal is understood not only as refinement and calming, but also as the action of separation and separation. It's autumn.

| WATER (YIN – hollow organ “bladder”, YANG – dense organ “kidney”)

Autumn is leaving, all nature is falling asleep. Yin energy reaches its climax. Trees that have shed their leaves are covered with snow. The dark time of the day takes precedence over the light time. The same type of energy predominates at night, after sunset. The boundaries are indistinguishable, everything is blurred and mixed. The explicit disappears, the implicit and mysterious prevails. The energy of Water is the most “yin” of the 5. It's winter, north, midnight.
