The prophecies of Orthodox elders about Russia are a topic that interests many people today. The theme of the Third World War against the backdrop of the economic, political and information front. And when everything is finished, the time will come when the Antichrist will reign. Pray that the Lord will continue this time for us to strengthen, because a terrible time awaits us. Antichrist
The Antichrist will be crowned king in the magnificent Jerusalem Temple with the participation of the clergy and the Patriarch.
There will be free entry and exit from Jerusalem for everyone. But then try not to go, because everything will be done to deceive.
The Antichrist will come from a Jewish prodigal virgin of the twelfth generation of fornication. Already as a teenager he will be very capable and intelligent, and especially since then when, as a boy of about twelve, walking with his mother in the garden, he will meet Satan, who, coming out of the abyss itself, will enter him. The boy will tremble in fear, and Satan will say: “Don’t be afraid, I will help you.” And from this youth the Antichrist will mature in human form.
At his coronation, when the “Creed” will be read, he will not allow it to be read correctly, where there will be the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; he will renounce this and recognize only himself.
And at the same time the Patriarch will exclaim: “This is the Antichrist!” - and for this the Patriarch will be killed.
During the coronation, the Antichrist will be wearing gloves, and when he takes them off to cross himself, the Patriarch will notice that he has claws on his fingers, not nails, and this will lead to greater belief that this is the Antichrist.
The prophets Enoch and Elijah will descend from Heaven, who will also tell everyone that the Antichrist has come: “This is the Antichrist, do not believe him.” And he will kill the prophets, but they will be resurrected and ascend to Heaven...
The Antichrist will be trained in all satanic tricks and will give false signs. The whole world will hear and see it at the same time.
The Holy Pleasant of God - testified by Archbishop Simon, Archbishop Theodosius, Bishop Jacob and Archimandrite Theophan - said: “Blessed and blessed is that person who does not desire and will not see the godless face of the Antichrist. Nothing can be bought or sold to a Christian. But do not be discouraged: the Lord will not abandon His children... There is no need to be afraid! There will be churches, but an Orthodox Christian will not be able to go to them, since the Bloodless Sacrifice of Jesus Christ will not be offered there, and the whole “satanic” gathering will be there.
And because of this lawlessness, the earth will stop giving birth, everything will crack due to lack of rain, it will give such cracks that a person can fall into them. Christians will be killed or exiled to desert places. But the Lord will help and nourish His followers.
Jews will also be herded into one place. Some Jews who truly lived by the Law of Moses will not accept the seal of the Antichrist. They will wait and keep an eye on his affairs. They know that their ancestors did not recognize Christ as the Messiah, and here God will give that their eyes will be opened and they will not accept the seal of Satan, but will recognize Christ and will reign with Christ.
And all the weak people will follow Satan, and when the earth does not produce a harvest, people will come to him asking for bread, and he will answer: “The earth will not produce bread. I can not do anything".
There will also be no water, all rivers and lakes will dry up. This disaster will last three and a half years, but for the sake of His chosen ones the Lord will shorten those days. In those days there will still be strong fighters, pillars of Orthodoxy, who will be under the strong influence of the heartfelt Jesus Prayer. And the Lord will cover His Almighty Grace, and they will not see those false signs that will be prepared for all people.
I repeat once again that it will be impossible to go to those churches, there will be no grace in them.”
One sister, listening to this conversation, asked: “What should I do? I wouldn’t want to live to see this time!” “You’re young, you can wait,” said the Elder. "How scary!" - “And you choose one of two: either earthly or heavenly.”
“There will be a war,” Father continued, “ and where it happens, there will be no people there. And before that, the Lord will send small illnesses to weak people, and they will die. And under the Antichrist there will be no death.
And the Third World War will no longer be for repentance, but for extermination.”
The sister says: “It’s good that there is war, because they will be counted among the martyrs.”
But Father objected: “No, if believers wash themselves in blood, they will be counted among the martyrs, and if they are non-believers, they will go to hell.”
“So you can die,” said the sister.
And Father answered: “The Lord will take away the weak, and others will be cleansed by illness. There will be those who, during the war, will wash away their sins with their blood and will be counted among the martyrs. And the Lord will leave the strongest to meet Him. And until the number of God’s witnesses, devastated by the falling away of some of the Angels, is replenished by those who are being saved, the Lord will not come to judge.
But in recent times, the Lord will also count the living, written in the Book of Life, among the Angels of the missing account, those who have “fallen away.”
“Repairs of churches will continue until the coming of the Antichrist, and everywhere there will be unprecedented splendor,” said the Elder. – And you should be moderate in the renovation of our church, in its appearance. Pray more, go to church while you can, especially to the Liturgy, at which the Bloodless Sacrifice is offered for the sins of the whole world. Confess more often and partake of the Body and Blood of Christ and the Lord will strengthen you.

The alarming prophecy of Elder Ephraim of Arizona
On December 8, 2021, in the United States, in the 92nd year of his earthly life, the perspicacious elder Archimandrite Ephraim of Arizona (Philothea) (Ioannis Moraitis), revered by many, the shepherd of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, reposed in the Lord. From 1947 to 1959, Ioannis Moraitis was under the spiritual care of the Venerable Elder Joseph the Hesychast (canonized on Holy Mount Athos as a locally revered saint, his church-wide canonization is now being prepared). In the early 70s of the last century, Father Ephraim was appointed abbot of the Philotheus monastery and in a short time revived a truly monastic life in it. Then they began to call it Filofeysky. Then the Holy Kinot of Holy Mount Athos blessed Abbot Ephraim for spiritual leadership in three Athonite monasteries: Xiropotamus, Karakal and Kostamonit.
In 1979, the Lord called Elder Ephraim to provide spiritual guidance to Orthodox Greeks living in North America. Initially, he founded two monasteries here - in Montreal (Canada) and in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA). Over time, monasteries founded by Father Ephraim appeared in a number of other regions of the United States and Canada: New York, Texas, Florida, Washington, Arizona, South Carolina, Illinois, California, Michigan and Toronto. The main one is considered to be the monastery in the name of St. Anthony the Great in Arizona, which is why the elder is called Ephraim of Arizona. He is often called the Apostle of America.
At the same time, Archimandrite Ephraim continued to be the spiritual leader of many Athonite monks and 8 women’s monasteries in Greece for a long time. His spiritual exploits are truly incomprehensible!
Elder Ephraim had a prophetic gift from the Lord God. He is known for a number of fulfilled predictions. After the righteous death of the ascetic, so-called “insider” information about the “sensational” prophecy of Archimandrite Ephraim appeared in a number of Greek periodicals and on many Internet resources, including Russian ones. It was said that at the beginning of December 2021, the elder said: “Two months after my death, a war will begin that the world has not yet seen!”
I don’t think that such an experienced mentor, who fulfilled the Commandments of the Gospel with his life, would begin to name exact times and dates. And in mid-January 2021, the Information Portal of the Holy Mount Athos published the authentic prophecy of Elder Ephraim, transmitted by his disciples, inhabitants of the Athos monasteries.
... They say that on one of his last visits to the Holy Mountain, Father Ephraim noted that the spirit on Mount Athos was beginning to change. These were the years when large-scale construction began in all the monasteries... The same construction projects that the Monk Paisius the Svyatogorets fought against, arguing that there was no will of God for such changes. But the roads were paved and construction began anyway. The appearance of the monasteries began to change, and the spirit of Athos began to change - the very atmosphere between the Holy Mountain residents, and continues to change now. Many will confirm that just 10 years ago on Mount Athos it was quite common to see pure, humble, meek faces. This created a unique atmosphere of piety that could not be faked in any way. But these people are becoming fewer and fewer, and more are preoccupied, businesslike, calculating, urgently rushing by car to a hardware store or for other important needs. These faces are often distorted with grimaces of care and suffering. And somehow it would be strange if divine grace lived in these anxious people running to the hardware store... And then this already became part of the life of Athos, and now before our eyes it is becoming life itself. And it is not surprising that after the death of Father Ephraim, false prophecies appeared in his name. This is how it should be, and this is how it has always been. But what concerns us, the monks say, is the fact that the image of our beloved elder Father Ephraim is distorted in these prophecies. For example, some think that Elder Ephraim was preoccupied with the times of the outbreak of a general war or the end of the world. Such primitivization distorts the holy face of the elder. Elder Ephraim differed from others in that he paid attention to causes, and not to consequences. But he said this about the reasons on his last visit to Athos: “Fathers! I want to tell you about 2 things that will eventually destroy the Holy Mountain in a spiritual sense. And if Athos does not stand, then what will happen to the world? If a green tree dries up, what happens to the dry one? From these 2 things all evil will further occur. Remember these two words well. As soon as you begin to hear these words more and more often on the Holy Mountain, then the time has come. These are just two words: “fast and convenient.” Fathers, know that the words “quickly and conveniently” are not human words, these are the words of the devil, who will destroy our Mountain with them. But you know this. As soon as you hear the words “quick and convenient”, run away from these “life improvers” as if you were the devil.”…
So, Elder Archimandrite Ephraim spoke about the spiritual war that every Orthodox Christian constantly wages against the world, the flesh and the enemy of salvation. Moreover, monasticism is at the forefront of this battle. Father Ephraim, shortly before his death, said: “Christ loves monks because they are soldiers.”
However, every Orthodox Christian must be a warrior of Christ, and therefore the priest’s prediction, conveyed by his spiritual children, applies to all of us: “Know that the words “quickly and conveniently” are not human words, these are the words of the devil... As soon as you hear the words “quickly and conveniently” and convenient”, run from these “life improvers” as if from the devil himself.”
“Fast and convenient,” isn’t that what the heralds of the digital transformation of society are talking about today, promising citizens “improved quality of life” and “speed of service”!? With these words they try to seduce everyone. “So,” according to Elder Ephraim, “the time has come...”
