Almost everyone knows about the fallen angel Dennitsa (Lucifer). However, not everyone knows that Satan was originally created by God as a bright angel, and even earned the title of his Father’s favorite.
During his stay in the Kingdom of God, he had close contact with other angels and archangels. So, for example, the names of Lucifer, the angel Gabriel and the archangel Michael are often mentioned together.
The names angel Uriel and Lucifer also often appear - in particular, in the work of fiction “Lucifer”. Let's try today to understand the connections between the listed inhabitants of the spiritual world.
Miracles of Archangel Michael
Saint Michael was a real miracle worker, he helped many people who prayed, saved honest believers from their enemies, and gave everyone who turned away from God a chance to take the right path again. Nowadays, many different stories are known that are associated with the saint. Among them there are several of the most famous ones that everyone should know.
Miracle in Khoneh
Icon: Miracle of the Archangel Michael in Khoneh
In Phrygia, according to ancient history, there was a church where people came to pray and communicate with the saint. It was built by one of the townspeople. The reason for this was the amazing recovery of his daughter thanks to the Archangel. For many years, it was here that Arkhipp Herotopsky was a sexton.
The polytheists harbored hatred and aggression towards the sexton. Therefore, they planned to wipe out the church from the face of the earth and destroy Archippus at the same time. The enemies decided to unite 2 mountain rivers into one channel and direct it to the sanctuary.
Arkhipp did not know from whom to expect help. Therefore, as an honest believer, he began to seek support from the Lord and Archangel Michael. During prayer, the saint appeared next to the sexton, hit the hill with his staff, after which a crevice formed in it. The stream rushed into it, and as a result the sanctuary was not damaged.
Plague in Rome
Plague at Ashod (Nicholas Pousson, 1630)
In 590 Rome was engulfed in plague. Many people died, and it seemed impossible to stop the epidemic. Pope George the Great prayed, asking the Lord to save ordinary people from certain death.
While praying, he saw the image of an angel, who, looking at him, hid his sword in its sheath. Legend has it that it was after this event that the plague ended.
Rescue of Sipontus
Church of Monte Sant'Angelo in the Cave of Michael of Mount Gargano
In 630, the city of Sipontos was captured by pagans. The local bishop earnestly prayed to the Lord, asking him to protect peaceful citizens from bloody strife. While praying, he saw Michael. The Archangel promised the believers to expel the offenders. If you believe the legend, then the image of an angel struck the pagans and they accepted the true faith. In memory of what happened, the townspeople wanted to build a church in honor of the saint.
However, coming again to the bishop, the Archangel refused this honor, saying that he had already chosen the place for the church. In that place, not far from the walls of the town, a small church was built in a cave. It soon turned out that there was a magical spring in it that helped get rid of any diseases.
The Sinner Who Became a Saint
In ancient times, when Troyan still ruled, there lived a beautiful, beautiful girl - Evdokia. However, she did not observe chastity, she took advantage of her beauty, she had many admirers, and soon she became very rich. One day she heard people discussing the Last Judgment, talking about the torment of people and the ascension.
The next morning the woman called the priest to her and began asking him about his faith. For the next 7 days, Evdokia sat in her house, tirelessly praying and crying. Only on the seventh day did Archangel Michael appear to her, who told about the Great joy and repentance of sinners. From that moment on, Evdokia decided to become a believer and spent her days persistently praying to the Lord.

Sinner turned saint
Rescue of a youth near Mount Athos
Legend has it that Michael came to the aid of a young guy who was trying to be killed by bandits because he had discovered jewelry hidden near Mount Athos.
People did not forget this wonderful event and erected a church in honor of the Savior, and all the treasures found were used to decorate it.
Miracle in Novgorod
Archangel Michael, trampling Satan (Simon Ushakov, 1676)
The chronicle states that in 1239 Batu went to Novgorod. However, the Mother of God and God prevented the khan from carrying out his plans.
And when Batu discovered a fresco in Kyiv on which the Archangel was depicted, his horror knew no bounds. Khan said that it was he who prevented him from taking Veliky Novgorod.
Archangel Michael and Joan of Arc
Appearance of the Archangel Michael to Joan of Arc, Eugene Thirion, 1876
Legends associated with such a historical figure as Joan of Arc are probably known to everyone. People believe that she had powerful helpers and intercessors such as Catherine of Alexandria, Margaret of Antioch and Archangel Michael.
It was the latter who gave Jeanne the important task (to place Charles VII on the throne in Reims) and supported her in this difficult task.
The main intrigue of the fifth season of the series “Lucifer”: Who is Archangel Michael?
A continuation of the story starring Tom Ellis, based on the comic book series “Lucifer,” was released on Netflix.
You remember how, after the third season, Fox canceled the TV show. But the fans loved the project so much that they saved it. The rights to the franchise were eventually purchased by Netflix. After that, the fourth season was released, the fifth appeared this week, and the creators of the project have already begun work on the sixth. But let's talk about everything in order.
The series “Lucifer” is not a horror film at all, but a police drama and comedy “in one bottle.” In the story, Lucifer, the master of Hell, settles in Los Angeles and becomes the owner of the cool Lux nightclub. Everything is fine with him, but then a girl he knows is killed before his eyes. Lucifer decides to find out who did it. He conducts a personal investigation, during which he meets a detective named Chloe Decker (Lauren German). Here he discovers that he has no magical influence on the girl, although usually all people begin to tell him the pure truth, because they are unable to hide things under the gaze of the Demon King. Of course, this circumstance puzzles Lucifer. To such an extent that he ends up becoming her assistant in solving crimes. Lucifer spends four seasons in Los Angeles, but at the end of the fourth he decides to return “home” to hell. Despite the fact that he loves Chloe.
In the story, Lucifer, the master of Hell, settles in Los Angeles and becomes the owner of the cool Lux nightclub.
Season 5 begins with the Demon King taking care of things in Hell. He decides to remember the past and “play” detective, trying to solve a local murder. But while Lucifer is sorting out the underworld, his double appears in Los Angeles. No, this is the twin brother Archangel Nikolai. He hits on Chloe. She senses from the very beginning that something is wrong with Lucifer. But since Nikolai’s explanation suits her, she gives in to her happiness.
Of course, the twin brother Nikolai was played by Tom Ellis himself. In an interview with SYFY WIRE, he said:
“I felt like a fraud, standing in front of all these people with whom I had worked for five years, pretending that I was someone else. It was a very strange feeling. Previously, I could easily enter and exit the image of Lucifer. But here, playing Mikhail, I directly felt that I was “lying” all the time. And this made me feel uneasy.
Season 5 begins with the Demon King taking care of things in Hell.
At first, Mikhail seemed ready for a long-distance “race.” He examines himself completely naked in the mirror, practicing Lucifer's signature smile and his British accent in the phrase: "Hello, detective!" But two episodes later we see what Mikhail really is: weak, with an American accent, and with a decent scar on his right shoulder.
By the way, during the filming of the fifth season, almost the entire crew constantly made fun of Tom Ellis, who tried to give his Mikhail an American accent.
But two episodes later we see what Mikhail is really like.
— I wanted to give Mikhail ordinary American English, say, from the East Coast. I wanted to make him as different as possible from Lucifer. But on the set I didn’t have time to “walk” between two images, change makeup and so on. So, using “improvised” means, I tried to make Nikolai different as much as possible.
Archangel Michael, as interpreted by Tom Ellis, turned out completely different from how this image was written in the original comics. If in the original source he is depicted as a faithful son, a good and reliable person, then in the series the actor showed him as envious, deceptive and vindictive.
By the way, work on the sixth season has already begun.
“We sat and wrote the end of the fifth season and the entire series (because it was initially assumed that the fifth season would be the final one in the story),” author and showrunner of the project Ildi Modrovich said in an interview with Collider.com. “We were just about to put an end to the last episode when the bell rang: “Guys, let’s also start a sixth season, shall we?” Joe Henderson (the project's second showrunner) and I fell where we stood. In one voice they said: “No, no, no! We have just “packaged” and polished the ending of the entire project. And we like her." But then little by little we started thinking about this sixth season. And we found a topic that we would like to cover. But they didn’t change anything in the fifth anyway. This is an independent story from beginning to end.
Showrunners say season six will reflect the Black Lives Matter movement
According to the showrunners, the sixth season will reflect the theme of the Black Lives Matter movement, which exploded across America this summer. Since this wave of protests began with the unintentional murder of George Floyd by a police officer, of course, the police series could not stay away from this topic. According to Ildi Modrovich, it is very difficult to cover this topic without incurring criticism from either side. But they are trying to be politically correct and accurate. The airing date for the sixth season is not yet known.
But the first eight episodes of the fifth are already available on Netflix (there are 16 in total).
Archangel Michael in different religions
The figure of Archangel Michael is known and revered throughout the world. There are many stories and legends associated with it. In Judaism, he is considered the leader of Light, who controls the entire army of the Lord and leads it to fight the army of the forces of Darkness, which is led by Belial.
Image of the Archangel Michael on a 14th century icon, Byzantine Museum, Athens.
People believe that he is one of the four main angels (among them there are also Gabriel, Raphael and Oriel), who are in front of the throne of the Lord and guard all directions of the world.
In Islam, Michael is also the highest category angel, located in the seventh heaven. He is spoken of as a messenger who fills people's hearts with kindness and bestows grace on them. In addition, he is able to control the clouds.
If we talk about Christianity, then representatives of this religion believe that Michael is the leader of the Holy Angelic Host. He makes sure that everyone follows God's law and fights the Darkness. In addition, the Archangel must be present at the Last Judgment, because he is the protector of the souls of all departed believers.
Adherents of Christianity are confident that it is the spells of dark forces that provoke various ailments. And since this saint is fighting these dark forces, it is worth contacting him, asking for recovery. To this day in Asia Minor there are many healing magical springs that are dedicated to this angel.
In addition, there is an opinion that Michael, armed with a sword, guards the gates of heaven. This is indicated by some Orthodox images, in which the saint’s halo consists of a floral ornament, as well as a collection of miracles of the Archangel Michael that has come down to us from the Middle Ages.
The Day of Archangel Michael, the patron of all people, is celebrated by the Orthodox Church on November 21. There is another very important date - September 19 (on this day the miracle in Khoneh is remembered). The Catholic Church celebrates St. Michael's Day on September 29.

Three brothers
The most famous names are the three archangels related to dark supernatural forces. Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel are brothers, but their intentions and missions are completely different.
Thus, Lucifer's brother Michael reigns as the leader of all of God's angels who fight the evil force of good. Lucifer and Michael have been involved in spiritual battles throughout history. The Bible says that the struggle will culminate in the future, just before Jesus Christ returns to Earth. In Revelation 12:7-10, the Bible tells how in the battle between Lucifer and his brothers, the latter will defeat the main evil and other rebel angels before the end of the world.
The story of Lucifer and Michael is very tragic from the point of view of the brothers' relationship. It is believed that when the archangel Lucifer rebelled against God and his teachings, trying to take the dominant place, it was Michael who expelled him from heaven. After this, Michael took the place of the archangel Lucifer and led the angelic army.
Family and friends Edit
Lucifer was previously an angel, and therefore has many heavenly-born brothers and sisters, some of whom followed him to become archdemons. He is the brother of Archangel Michael, with whom Lucifer openly feuds.
The former Devil was not used to making friends - he only had a few mistresses, for example, the fallen angel Araquiel and the demoness Lilith. Of course, many archdemons remain faithful to Lucifer and dream of his return, but if the process of saving the former Devil drags on, and these allies can scatter, then Lucifer risks remaining in splendid isolation, even though he has long been a persona non both on Earth and in Heaven. grata.

Priest Andrei Chizhenko discusses.
So, before us is a battle of two Angels. Dennitsa, which means “morning dawn” from Church Slavonic; in Latin - Lucifer - luminiferous, in Greek - Eosphorus, Phosphorus - the same meaning, hence the Church Slavonic derivative - Dennitsa. We know that this was an Angel of the highest hierarchy close to God. The Holy Scriptures tell us about the reasons for his fall. This is written about in the Book of the Prophet Isaiah: “How you have fallen from heaven, Lucifer, son of the dawn! crashed to the ground, trampling the nations. And he said in his heart: “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mountain in the assembly of gods, on the edge of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.” But you are cast into hell, into the depths of the underworld. Those who see you peer into you and think about you: “Is this the same man who shook the earth, shook kingdoms, made the universe a desert and destroyed its cities, and did not let his captives go home?” All the kings of the nations, all lie with honor, each in his own tomb, and you are cast down outside your tomb, like a despised branch, like the clothing of the slain, slain with the sword, who are lowered into stone ditches - you, like a trampled corpse, will not be united with them in the grave ; for you have destroyed your land, you have killed your people: the generation of the wicked will never be remembered” (Isaiah 14:12–20).
Pride and the desire to be equal to God destroyed Dennitsa. And he became “the devil” in Greek, and “Satan” in Hebrew - a slanderer and opponent of the Almighty.
The second participant in this heavenly battle is the Holy Archangel Michael. In Orthodox iconography, he is often depicted with a fiery sword in his hands, clad in shining armor, and a winged warrior. But what kind of armor is this? And what kind of sword is this?
Are these blockbuster superhero weapons? Or personal heroism and genius? No. What is it?
The answer is simple and threefold: love for God, the desire to fulfill His will, not your own, and humility.
The key to such an understanding of the actions of the Holy Archangel Michael is hidden in his very name. Translated from Hebrew, it means “Who is like God!”, meaning “No one is equal to God.” Church Tradition tells us that it was with these words that the Archangel-commander of the heavenly angelic forces overthrew Satan into hell.
This is true holiness. It is not in action on its own, but in the desire to fulfill the will of God, in endless love for Him and in confession of His true God.
Let us also remember the Council Epistle of the Holy Apostle Jude: “Michael the Archangel, when he spoke with the devil, arguing about the body of Moses, did not dare to pronounce a reproachful judgment, but said: “The Lord rebuke you”” (Jude 1:9).
We see the great humility of St. Michael. The powerful commander of the angelic forces did not dare to condemn even the godless Satan, because he too was a creation of the Hand of God. And how often do we condemn our neighbors! Every minute, probably... But the holy Angel said to the devil not “I forbid you,” but “May the Lord forbid you.” Not a single unauthorized action, no “gag”. Only the fulfillment of God's will.
And now there are two paths before us...
Pride - and the shining Angel turns into an ugly devil.
Humility - and the “poor in spirit” Saint Archangel Michael becomes a hero-defender of the truth for Angels and people forever and ever.
What will each of us choose, dear brothers and sisters? May Saint Archangel Michael help us choose the right path. Happy Angel Day!
Holy Archangel Michael and other ethereal Heavenly Powers, pray to God for us!

Biography of Archangel Michael
Archangel Michael was created by the power of God’s thought and given a name meaning “Who is like God.” The purpose of the archangel was to control the heavenly army of angels. In Orthodoxy, he is also called Archangel, which translated from Greek means commander-in-chief. The army of archangels was supposed to protect God's kingdom from the attacks of the devil, monitor compliance with God's laws and help all Christian believers fight evil.
Michael was one of the seven archangels who were given a name. This speaks to the importance of his position. The remaining angels remained nameless.
In Holy Scripture, the archangel is also called “the leader of the army of the Lord” or “prince.”
It is believed that Archangel Michael monitors the actions of people from above and when a critical situation arises, he comes to the aid of the laity. There are many miraculous cases in history that Orthodoxy associates with the intervention of the Archangel. When the Israelites attacked the Promised Land, the apostle came to Joshua with help. During the fall of the kingdom of Babylon, Michael appeared to the prophet Daniel and told that during the future persecution of the people by the Antichrist, the heavenly army would come to protect them.
The Holy Scriptures describe cases when an archangel appears on earth in the form of an element. One of these phenomena was a pillar of fire that put the Israelites to flight when they came to Egypt. The pillar drove a whole horde of pharaohs into the sea and many drowned there.
Orthodox Christians consider Michael the Archangel the defender of their faith and the main fighter against evil. When depicting the figure of a saint on icons, they put a spear or sword in his hand, with which he overthrows the devil.

Lucifer's brothers - Michael and Gabriel
Icons of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel
The three archangels, naturally, did not have a mother, so they cannot be called biological brothers. There is no biology in the kingdom of God.
But they were even closer relatives - created by one thought. You could say like-minded people.
Michael and Gabriel had a harder time with Lucifer's rebellion than anyone else. Moreover, then they had to stand against each other and raise their weapons.
I wonder what was going on in their souls when the Archangel Michael came out against Lucifer?
One can only guess about this. It is quite possible that when taking up arms, Mikhail did not experience anything. He fulfilled his duty to God, and therefore to all that exists.
Or maybe Mikhail was shocked by the betrayal, but was able to suppress his feelings.
This is the main difference between the two brothers. Lucifer could never suppress the movement of his soul.
The main one, pride, eventually took power over him. And the leader of the heavenly army, the Archangel, was able to pull himself together.
He understood that duty to the Divine Plan was higher than any experience.
Archangel Lucifer and his heavenly brothers
The fallen Archangel Lucifer is known to one and all for his fall from grace. God cast him out of heaven after rebelling and trying to gain freedom. But in this whole story, a rather important point remains in the shadows - the fraternal bonds between the three first archangels. Their names are Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer. We need to understand this situation, because in the first war brother went against brother. Like any research, you need to start with the basics. Which of the archangels did what in the Kingdom of God?
Archangel Lucifer - there are many versions of what his work was. But there are two main opinions that deserve more confidence. Many source texts indicate that Lucifer was God's personal weapon. He acted as the Angel of Death, sending punishment on sinners - it’s worth remembering the same Sodom and Gomorrah. They also say that the Fallen One acted as an accuser at the heavenly court. He was the right hand of the Lord.
Archangel Michael is second after Lucifer. It was he who took the vacant seat when the “morning star” was removed. Leader of the angelic warriors. If Lucifer was something like an executioner, an executor of the will of God, then Michael was the general of the heavenly army. It is under his leadership that God’s armies will go into battle.
Archangel Gabriel is the messenger of God. It is he who reveals the heavenly plan to ordinary mortals. Through His voice the divine will reaches humanity. He, like Michael, bears the title of Archangel - that is, military leader. Yes, most often this is the name given to the patron of warrior angels, but do not forget that the divine herald is also endowed with such powers.
Lucifer and Michael - what connects them
How can we judge the relationship between these two entities? According to the texts that have reached us. Even the most ancient sources say that Michael tried to dissuade Lucifer from rebellion.
With tears in my eyes - that's what it says there. Where could these tears come from, if not from anxiety for a being close to you?
Archangel Michael and Lucifer
This manifestation of feelings can be interpreted differently. The chief among the angels was worried that before the rebellion, harmony and peace reigned in all things.
Lucifer violated it, following his own interests. But closer to the truth is the explanation that talks about their brotherly feelings.
After all, as we see, archangels are higher than people, but are capable of experiencing human feelings. Because if it weren't, would Lucifer have rebelled?
How could he confuse the angels and win them over to his side?
And, what is most interesting, the conversation where one tries to dissuade the other does not take place between the angel of death and the herald. Not between Lucifer and Gabriel.
Although, it would seem, who should speak if not the Voice of God? Perhaps there was a gulf between these two brothers that we cannot understand.
After all, the first was the Angel of Death, a warrior, arbiter of will, and the second was a diplomat, a herald.
Perhaps this is why God directed Michael to speak with the rebel. After all, a warrior will always understand a warrior better, even if he does not have the gift of elegant literature. Other explanations are possible, but this is empty freethinking, because we will never know the truth.
All that remains is to look for more and more plausible versions of events that happened long ago.
Battle of Archangel Michael and Lucifer
Archangel Michael, having enlisted the support of angels faithful to God, made every effort to bring Lucifer and his group of like-minded people to reason. In conversations, he spent a long time and to no avail convincing the apostate to submit to the will of God and abandon his intentions. This case was the first in the Universe when eternal peace and tranquility was threatened. Disobedience to the Creator could have a detrimental effect on the harmony in nature and lead to the most terrible consequences.
Lucifer avoided such conversations in every possible way and called everyone who did not agree with his beliefs slaves. He convinced his like-minded people that when he came to power, he would introduce fairer forms of government and give his subordinates freedom. There were angels who believed him and already considered him their master. Seeing this, Lucifer consoled himself with confidence that gradually all the angels would be on his side. Then he will stand on the same level as the Lord himself, and God’s army will be subordinate to him.
Faithful archangels and cherubim tried to convey to the apostate that his disobedience to the Almighty could lead to dire consequences. If the Creator was able to create the world and all living things, including themselves, then it costs him nothing to destroy his creations. Also, the faithful angels tried to convince the followers of Lucifer. They invited the apostates to come to the Lord and submit to him, trusting in the Grace of God.
Legend of Lucifer
Can the legend of Lucifer shed light on the situation? At a minimum, here are the prerequisites for a future conflict. And another confirmation that angels, even archangels, were defeated by human feelings.
At a time when humanity existed only in embryo, Supreme Beings appeared on Earth. They descended into our sorrowful vale in order to push humanity. Like a father who carefully teaches a child to walk, so that one day he will follow the path of great achievements. Lucifer, the right hand of the Lord, also descended with them.
At first, he, like everyone else, stood up for the prosperity of mankind. He brought us the light of knowledge and was a true Prince of All That Is. Great power fell into his hands. But, of course, he was not the main one among his brothers, because they were all equal to each other. And when he realized his seemingly endless power, he realized that nothing would stop him, he could not resist great pride and not flare up with envy, seeing that he was no higher than the rest.
Lucifer, being imperfect, could not cope with all temptations. Only God is perfect, but not his creatures. So the archangel gave birth to the sprouts of vices in the souls of future humanity. It is this legend that tells about the future confrontation between two Great Spirits - Archangel Michael and Lucifer.
The sad story of the first three archangels is a story of betrayal and brotherly war, which marked the beginning of a great confrontation. But she also talks about the fact that even Great Beings can succumb to emotional impulses - no one is perfect.

Angel Dennitsa - what is said about his original duties (when he was still on the side of the world)? It is believed that Lucifer was the right hand of the Lord, his assistant in heaven.
What were its functions? He was the Angel of Death, sending deserved punishment to guilty sinners. He also represented the prosecution at the trial of souls, which takes place after death.
Now let's move on to his immediate circle - the angels Gabriel and Michael. It is noteworthy that of the seven angelic beings, the Christian Bible mentions only these two.
Archangel Michael (translated from Hebrew, his name means “Who is like God?”). The image of Michael has earned veneration not only in Christianity, but also in a number of other religious traditions. Initially, the archangel stood in second place, second to Dennitsa.
Due to numerous requests from readers, we have prepared an “Orthodox Calendar” application for smartphones. Every morning you will receive information about the current day: holidays, fasts, days of remembrance, prayers, parables. Download for free: Orthodox Calendar 2021 (available on Android)
However, when Lucifer became a fallen angel and was thrown from heaven into the depths of hell, it was Michael who took his place. The latter stood at the head of the light army, represented by angels, which fought with Satan, ultimately defeating him.
True, this did not happen right away - at first, Mikhail tried with all his might to convince Dennitsa to commit a rebellion and attempt to take God’s place, because he was his brother. But to no avail.
Having familiarized ourselves with the text of the Christian Bible, we find in it the following facts regarding the Archangel Michael:
- this is the only archangel mentioned in Holy Scripture;
- was assigned to the Jews to protect and care for them;
- used the law and the courts to carry out his mission;
- he had a chance to fight with Lucifer, taking away the body of the prophet Moses;
- there is a prediction that Michael will fight dark demonic entities in the future.
Interesting! A number of religious texts say that the Archangel Michael visited the Virgin Mary, warning her of her approaching death. And it was he who subsequently took her body to heaven.
Archangel Gabriel (translated his name means “The Lord is my strength”) is the messenger of God. His main responsibility is to convey to people the will of the Almighty and his plans.
Along with Michael, Gabriel has the title of archangel (voivode, commander of the army). Although Michael usually appears in the foreground, Gabriel also has similar powers.
The Lord sends his messenger to Earth to tell people about the significant events that await them. For example, from Gabriel, the Virgin Mary learned that she was destined to become a mother, and not just a child, but the Son of God himself. It is believed that Gabriel also visited Mary’s husband, Joseph, to please him with the good news.
If we take Islam, then Gabriel is also mentioned there. He acts as an archangel, bringing revelations to various prophets (the most famous of them is Muhammad). Adherents of Islam are confident that the first five poems from chapter 96 of the Koran were revealed to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel.
The following information is associated with this character of the heavenly office:
- The Bible does not present him as an archangel.
- Only three deeply religious people spoke with Gabriel at one time.
- The very first mention of an angel appears in Daniel's vision.
- According to the scriptures, Gabriel did not have wings - there is no information about this anywhere. And although in esoteric treatises the angel appears with them, in reality he did not have them.
- Quite a lot of facts about this (as, indeed, many other angels) were added by human imagination.
Although Gabriel is one of the good beings, his appearance is terribly terrifying. For example, we can recall the moment described by the Bible, where the righteous Daniel, seeing Gabriel, fell face down to the ground, greatly frightened.
Interesting! Lucifer and his brothers (Gabriel and Michael) are called “serving spirits” in the scriptures (Heb. 1:14).
Their responsibilities include providing various kinds of assistance to the righteous living on Earth. Also, of course, they serve the Lord, day and night without leaving his throne. And when He gives orders, they bring His will to people. But Lucifer no longer belongs to the light brothers, because he was deprived of his initially high title.
Having complete free will, Dennitsa chose to serve evil rather than good. He has taken a stable position as a leader in Hell, trying with all his might to attract as many people as possible to his side: motivating them to commit sins, sowing the seeds of evil in their souls.
But he is opposed by bright angelic beings who instruct confused people, directing them to light and repentance. For this purpose, there are special prayers with an appeal to the angels for intercession and protection.
Powers and Abilities Edit
Lucifer is an angel, therefore he has the following abilities:
- Immortality -
Angels do not age or get sick, and can live forever. - Invulnerability
- The Angel cannot be wounded or killed by any type of weapon, with the exception of hell-forged blades or celestial weapons. - Super Strength
- Angels have much greater durability, endurance, and strength compared to humans. - Super Speed
- Angels can move much faster than humans. - Wings
- Using wings, angels can fly, instantly move through space and between dimensions such as Hell or Heaven, and also use them in battle as weapons. - Increased Reaction
- Angels have excellent reflexes.
In addition, Lucifer has such unique abilities as:
- Multilinguist

- By looking into the eyes, Lucifer is able to reveal the hidden desires of people and force them to tell the truth. - Transformation
- Lucifer can take on his "devil form", which can scare people out of their minds or force demons into submission. - Healing

- As the King of Hell, Lucifer can descend into the underworld, take the soul of a sinner and place it in a person's body, thereby resurrecting him. - Rule over Hell
- As the King of Hell, Lucifer has power over demons and Hell. - Hand-to-hand combat
- Lucifer demonstrated high combat skills in battle with such a strong opponent as Amenadiel, and fought with him almost on equal terms. - Igniting the Blade Azrael
is perhaps the only angel who can ignite it, as his name means “light-bringer.”
If Lucifer is the first God, then why is Michael stronger?
"Lucifer" is a Babylonian myth created by the daughter of Babylon:
This belief that Satan is a fallen angel and cast down to earth is a fable created by Babylon. This was accomplished by taking Isaiah 14 out of context. Isaiah 14 contains the parable of the Babylonian king. This has absolutely nothing to do with Satan. Lucifer is the Latin word for Venus. Lucifer became synonymous with Satan due to the deception and manipulation of Babylon. The parable compares how some worship Venus and compares her to the king of Babylon who also wants to worship.
Isaiah 14
4 So that you take up this parable against the king of Babylon and say: How did the oppressor stop! fine gold coin has stopped! 5 YAHUAH broke the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers, 6 This struck the nations with wrath with a continual blow, which ruled the nations in anger, with persecution that no one restrained. 7 The whole earth is at rest and quiet; they start singing. 8 Yes, the cypress trees rejoice in you and the cedars of Lebanon: “Since you lay down, none of the adversaries will go against us.” 9 The lower world moves towards you to meet you at your coming; the shadows are agitated for you, even for all the main ones on earth; all the kings of the nations are raised from their thrones. 10 They all answer and say to you, “Are you also weak, like us?” Have you become like us? 11 Your pomp is cast down into the world of the grave, and the sound of your harp; the larva is spread under you, and worms cover you. 12 How you fell from heaven, Helel ben Shahar = cry, son of the dawn = (Venus in English = Lucifer in Latin), son of the morning! How you cut down the earth, that you imposed a lot on the nations! 13 And you have said in your heart: “I will be exalted in the heavens above the stars of God, I will exalt my throne, and I will sit on the mount of the congregation in the uttermost parts of the north; 14 I will rise above the clouds; I will be like the Almighty. 15 And yet you will be cast down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit. 16 Those who have seen you gaze at you, they gaze at you: “This (man) shakes the earth, shakes kingdoms; 17 This made the world desolate and destroyed its cities; that he did not open the house to his prisoners? 18 All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, each in his own house. 19 But you will be spewed out of the grave like a disgusting offshoot, in the clothing of the slain, who are pierced with a sword, who descend to the pavement of the pit, like a corpse trampled underfoot. 20 Do not be buried with them, because you have destroyed your land, you have killed your people; the seed of the wicked shall never be named. 21 Prepare to kill his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they will not rise up and take possession of the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities. 22 And I will rise up against them, says YAHUAH of hosts, and will be cut off from the name and remnant of Babylon, and from the descendants and descendants, says YAHUAH.
Revelation of the Babylonian False Covenant 22:16 King James Version (KJV):
16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root, the descendant of David, and the bright morning star.
The morning star, most often used as the name of the planet Venus when it appears in the east before sunrise. (Source Wikipedia)
Venus in Latin means Lucifer.
The Romans took Isaiah 14 out of context and turned it into a fable of a fallen angel named Lucifer.
The Roman Catholic Church calls the sun Lucifer and Jesus the son of the sun.
The Roman Catholic Church still worships "Lucifer":
Isaiah 47 is a prophecy about the daughter of Babylon and what will happen to her:
Isaiah Chapter 47
1 Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin, daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans, You will no longer be called gentle and gentle. 2 Take the millstones and grind them; take off the veil, take off the train, open your leg, walk through the rivers. 3 Your nakedness will be revealed, so that your shame will be visible; I will take revenge and will not allow anyone to intercede. 4 Our Savior, YAHUAH of hosts, is His name, the Holy One of Israel. 5 Sit, be silent, and fall into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans, for you will no longer be called mistress of kingdoms. 6 I was angry with My people, I defiled My inheritance and gave them into your hands; You did not spare them; You have laid your yoke heavily on the elderly. 7 And you said, “I will always be a lover”; so you did not put it in your heart and did not remember the end of it. 8 So listen, you who are given pleasures that sit securely, saying in your heart: I am, and there is no one besides me; I will not sit like a widow, and I will not know about the loss of children"; 9 But these two things will come to you in a moment in one day, the loss of children and widowhood; in full they will come at you for the sake of the multitude of your charms and the great abundance of your charms. 10 And you were safe in your wickedness, you said: “No one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge, it perverts you; and you said in your heart. “Yes, and there is no one but me.” 11 But evil will befall you; you won't know how to charm him; and disaster will befall you; You can't take it away; and destruction will come upon you suddenly, before you know it. 12 Stand now with your enchantments and with the multitude of your sorceries in which you have labored from your youth; If yes, then you can make a profit, if yes, then you can win. 13 You are weary of your many counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly fortune tellers arise and save you from whatever befalls you. 14 Behold, they will be stubble; the fire will burn them; they will not rid themselves of the power of the flame; it doesn't have to be coal to heat up, or fire to sit on before. 15 And those with whom you have labored will be with you; those who have traded with you since your youth will wander each in his own quarter; there will be no one to save you.
Zechariah Chapter 13
7 Rise up, O sword, against My shepherd and against My neighbor, says YAHUAH of hosts; smite the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the children. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the earth, saith YAHUAH, two parts thereof shall be cut off and die; but the third must be left in it. 9 I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will purify them as silver is refined, and I will try them like gold, by trying; they will call My name, and I will answer them; I will say, “These are My people,” and they will say, “YAHUAH is my God.”
History EditEdit
After breaking the last seal, Lucifer was released and began preparing the coming Apocalypse to wipe out the people he hated from the face of the Earth. The Horsemen of the Apocalypse helped him in this. The final battle with Michael was supposed to determine the fate of the entire Universe, so to fight with his brother, Lucifer needed Sam, since it was with Sam that Lucifer could use the fullness of his power. But the end of the world never happened: Sam, thanks to his love for Dean, was able to overpower Lucifer within himself and jumped into the cage, simultaneously dragging Michael with him in the body of Sam and Dean Winchester’s blood brother, Adam Milligan.
As a result, Lucifer, Michael in the body of Adam and Sam were in the same cage for a whole year. Consequently, the Devil himself was tormenting poor Sam... Later, after Castiel returned Sam from the cage, he deliberately left one small detail there - his soul. Sam was cruel, not understanding many feelings, and Dean rushes to his aid and makes a bet with Death: if he can wear Death’s ring for a day and do work for him, then Death will return Sam’s soul, and if he can’t... then he will be left with the empty ones hands. But Dean couldn’t do it and took off the ring ahead of time. Death still agreed to return Sam's soul, but since his soul, as expected, was severely destroyed by Lucifer, Death put up a special wall to block those memories, threatening that if Sam got rid of it, it would be bad. After some time, Cas, who has changed under pressure from the authorities, breaks the wall, and Sam gradually goes crazy and at the same time he sees Lucifer, who mocks him in every possible way, also depriving him of sleep.
WeaknessesEdit
- Death Sickle
- The sickle can kill Michael. - Other archangels
- younger archangel brothers can harm Michael and are capable of killing him with the archangel's sword, but Michael is older and stronger than Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael, and they would hardly be able to overpower him. - Seal of Enoch
- Enochian symbols can hide a person from Michael's line of sight. - Lucifer's Cage
- A cage strong enough to contain an archangel. Initially intended for Lucifer, but later Michael also got into it. - Archangel's Sword
- Michael can be killed with the Archangel's sword. - Holy Oil
- Temporarily neutralizes Michael. - The Weapons of Heaven
are an entire arsenal of weapons that are sure to contain weapons capable of harming many creatures. For example, Balthasar used Lot's stone, turning Raphael's vessel into salt. - Stronger and older beings
- God, Death, Darkness - mutated angels are capable of destroying
Is it true? The path of Lucifer's expulsion by Archangel Michael

There are a huge number of different mysteries in the world that people try to explain, but they don’t always succeed. For example, what properties and purposes have not been attributed to Stonehenge...
Today we will tell you about another unusual riddle. There are 7 shrines in the world that are built on the same line.
Intriguing? These structures are scattered from Ireland to Israel. Fortunately, there is a logical explanation for this phenomenon.
Seven monasteries, which are dedicated to St. Archangel Michael, are located on one imaginary line. It symbolizes the sword with which Michael defeated Lucifer.
By the way, this straight line coincides with the line formed by sunset on the day of the summer solstice. In Christian symbolism, it coincides with the path along which Michael descended to drive out Lucifer.
Skellig Michael (Mount Michael), Ireland
In 490, Saint Michael appeared to the Bishop of San Lorenzo. After this event, the cult of the saint spread throughout Europe. Then a magnificent monastery was built on the island of Skellig, which became a favorite place for pilgrims from different countries.
Mount St Michael, Cornwall, England
It is believed that the monastery of St. Michael was built here in 495 by Benedictine monks from Normandy. The building became an important place of worship for the saint.
Mont Saint Michel, France
There are some very treacherous waters around this abbey. Since the end of the 19th century alone, about 150 shipwrecks have been recorded here. And the monastery was erected to the glory of St. Michael, Normandy and all Christianity.
Monastery of the Archangel Michael, Italy
It is one of the most important Christian buildings in the Alps. The monastery is located in the Susa Valley in western Italy. The building became one of the symbols of the region and contributed to the spread of Christianity in Piedmont.
Basilica of the Archangel Michael, Monte Sant'Angelo, Italy
Another place of pilgrimage in Italy. It is not difficult to guess that this basilica of Lombard origin is also dedicated to the Archangel Michael.
Monastery of St. Michael the Archangel, Greece
Historians believe that this structure was built around 450 AD on the site of a temple dedicated to Apollo. Now the monastery is one of the most important places of worship in Greece.
Stella Maris Monastery, Haifa, Israel
This monastery is located in a cave in which the prophet Elijah is believed to have lived. It was built back in Byzantine times. Over time, the structure became a place of worship of the Archangel Michael.
It turned out original, didn’t it? After all, people in the old days knew how to leave funny messages for their descendants. And this is one of them!

Iconography of Archangel Gabriel
Archangel Gabriel appears before us in the guise of a beautiful young man, with a nim shining above his head, and beautiful wings behind his back.
Archangel Gabriel with lily
There is another image of him, preserved only in the earliest drawings. On them, the assistant of the Almighty is immortalized in a long robe, but he does not have wings or the usual halo. Similar drawings can be found in the catacombs of Priscilla in Rome.
In traditional paintings, the saint’s head is surrounded by a ribbon, the raised ends of which indicate that he is ready to heed the will of God. Also, in the palms of the angel, a rod, sphere, scroll or branch is sometimes depicted. The presence of these attributes depends on the plot of the picture. Most icons of the Archangel demonstrate his main task - an angel bringing important good news.
There is also a joint image of the Archangel Gabriel and Michael in various iconographic versions.
Archangel Gabriel is one of the strongest defenders of humanity, who was a harbinger of good news. By turning to him in prayer, we can enlist the support of one of the most powerful and significant Archangels.
HistoryEdit
Michael is the older brother of Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael, and the most powerful of the archangels. In the absence of God, he became His substitute in heaven. In addition, Mikhail is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. A long time ago he crushed Lucifer, and he was locked in hell.
His vessel was Dean Winchester, but Dean was not the only vessel of Michael: the archangel could also enter John Winchester and Adam Milligan. Before the battle, Michael inhabits Adam so that the battle between him and Lucifer can take place. Currently, he languishes in Lucifer's Cage in Hell, along with Adam Milligan and Lucifer.
==Character ==
Mikhail considers himself an exemplary son of his Father, ready to do anything to fulfill His will. And so it happened: despite his love for Lucifer, he without hesitation overthrew him from Heaven and locked him in a cage on the orders of God. Like many angels, Michael is serious, strict and demanding, at the same time calm and calm. He has a great responsibility: managing Heaven and maintaining it in perfect order. Like many angels, he does not consider people his equals, does not value them at all: he is ready to sacrifice millions of lives, but defeat Lucifer; when he appeared to Zechariah in the bar, he killed all the people in the room with his voice. However, it is worth noting that Michael treats people without the disdain characteristic of Zechariah. He believes in fate, in his victory over his younger brother and does not tolerate interference in destined events. He loves and cares for his fellow archangels very much, regretfully rejecting Lucifer’s offer to leave the charted path. Unlike other archangels, he may not subject his vessel to terrible stress, which shows him as more merciful than his brothers.
Biography of Archangel Lucifer
Archangel Lucifer, just like Michael, was created by the Lord by the power of thought. The Almighty made him his right hand and endowed him with enormous power. God's cherub had perfect beauty, was very smart and talented. The Lord himself admired the graceful features and complete wisdom of his creation.
The perfection of the body and the presence of a great mind gave rise to a criminal sense of pride in Lucifer. He really didn’t like that the Lord made his Son Christ his successor, and not him. He decided that such a perfect creature should be a level higher and have more power. Having power over the angels subordinate to him, the archangel began to persuade them to apostatize. He told the angels that God does not value them and they deserve better. If they rise up and Lucifer takes the place of the Lord, he will appreciate each one at their true worth and exalt them to the maximum. Having sowed confusion in the minds of his subordinates and gathered a team of like-minded people, Lucifer started a riot in the Kingdom of God. The Lord, seeing the turmoil going on in His Presence, expelled the cherub and a third of his minions to Earth.
So, the perfect creation of the Lord God turned into a devil due to excessive pride. The name Lucifer is considered synonymous with the words Satan, devil, gossip, slanderer. On earth, the former archangel began to dominate the expelled angels and people who reject faith in the Almighty.
