Banishing rituals. 4 easy ways for beginners

Banishing is a basic skill that all witches should develop. Banishing gives you the power to remove something from your life, be it a spirit, a person you no longer want in your environment, or situations you no longer want to face. This practice gives you more control over your life.

Banishing rituals are best performed in a calm state. Excessive negative energy from anger or other strong emotions can cause an effect more like a curse. The result may be unintentional harm to your target rather than simply removing them from your life.

Below are the 4 main banishing rituals and their benefits.

Exorcism ritual to drive out demons

A strong ritual that helps in advanced cases will require holy water.
Preparation for the ceremony:

  1. Place a jar of holy water near the bed.
  2. Tie the possessed man to the bed with ropes.
  3. Learn prayers (prepare a prayer book).

Procedure:

  1. Read the Lord's Prayer, the Creed, or the Gospel of John, chapters 14 and 16 over the possessed person.
  2. Sprinkle the person with water.
  3. Communication with a demon. He will try to drive the exorcist into a trap, begin to ask riddles, ask permission to stay or clarify where to go. Submission, humility and knowledge of church literature will be an assistant.
  4. Reading a strong conspiracy to drive away the evil one.

Prayer to Saint Sisinius

If there is evil, then there are Heroes who defeat this evil, and one of such heroes is Sisinius. In our time, his name is associated only with the gift of expelling fevers, but in the early apocryphal texts of “The Tale of Jeremiah the Bulgarian Priest” Sisinius is a hero who is able to heal not only colds, but also resist the very bearer of evil - the devil. Sisiny is described as a valiant warrior, on horseback, with a sword and shield, he is strong in spirit and generous. Manuscripts with legends about Sisinius's expulsion of devils date back to the beginning of the 16th century. Anyone can banish illnesses by casting spells.

How to cast out the devil with prayer

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit! Saint Sisinius came to the iron pillar and said to his sister: “Open the pillar for me, my sister, so that I can enter.” She answered him: “I can’t, because I’m afraid that the devil will penetrate through the threshold and devour my children, that’s why I created the pillar so that the gate would be stronger.” But Sisinius said to her: “Open the doors to me, I conjure you by the living God.” She opened the gate for him, and the devil entered the courtyard, hiding under the hoof of Sisinius’s horse, grabbed the youths, devoured them and ran away. Melentina cried out in a voice of greatness: “O my brother by blood, you came and destroyed me, the devil devoured my last hope - my children!” Then Saint Sisinius jumped on his horse and grabbed the devil and said to him: “I will not have mercy, devil, unless you vomit my sister’s children.” The devil said to him: “Have mercy on me, Saint Sisinius, I will vomit the children and make them even more alive than they were.” And he vomited and did. And Saint Sisinius said to him: “Tell me what your life is*, devil”? And the devil said to him: “I am the one who is called the devil, a mentor and miracle worker to all evil.” But I swear to you, Saint Sisinius, that I will flee in your name, and my fruits and my servants, and the servants of my servants, may they not receive honor from the servant of God (name), who calls out your name.” He fled without looking back from Sisinius, as well as from the servant of God (name). In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Possession Fictions and Their Tragic Consequences

There were especially many fictions related to obsession in the Middle Ages. This caused horror among believers and prepared fertile ground for the outbreak of psychic epidemics of obsession. Most of them ended tragically.

Possessed child turns into a possessed child

An example of how self-hypnosis and fiction turns into persistent conviction can be the case of the development of demon possession in two French Ursuline nuns in 1610. They developed unusual movements and some other signs, which led them to be recognized as possessed. Apparently, one of them suffered from mental illness, while the second was very suggestible.

A mentally ill nun claimed she was under a spell from a local priest. The second nun confirmed this. Despite the fact that this priest had an excellent reputation, the Inquisition took care of him. As a result, under torture, he admitted that he had intercourse with the devil and that he infected thousands of women with poisonous devil's breath. Despite self-incrimination and admission of guilt, the priest was burned at the stake. And the possessed nuns were isolated and had exorcism sessions, which led to the recovery of one of them.

When it comes to what exorcism is and whether it has a place in modern life, religion and psychiatry are unanimous in their opinion: if you have faith in God and the existence of demons, a correctly performed exorcism ritual will undoubtedly be beneficial. But only a specially trained clergyman should conduct it.

Metal from the devil

In terms of protection against evil spirits, the power of silver has no equal. Crosses worn on the body must be consecrated in church. If a rash or various skin diseases appear at the place where the cross comes into contact with the human body, it means that the person is corrupted and has the mark of the devil on him. It is possible that the chain on which the cross is located constantly breaks. This is also an indicator that you are being influenced by witchcraft.

Silver Power:

  • Silver water strengthens the heart. It helps with poor urination and hemorrhoids. Silver water also eliminates the unpleasant odor of sweat. To prepare silver water, you need to pour spring water into a glass or clay container and put a silver coin in it for at least three days. You can take 150 ml of silver water 3 times a day. Drinking silver water is good for heart problems.
  • If you hold pure silver in your mouth, it will quench your thirst.
  • Women wear sacred silver earrings in their ears to prevent noise in their heads.
  • Wedding silver rings are placed in the font for children suffering from jaundice and thin eyes.
  • A patient suffering from jaundice takes baths in which several small silver coins are placed. No silver items should be placed in the coffin of the deceased.

Exorcism and psychiatry

Psychiatry believes that a properly performed exorcism ritual really helps, but provided that the person does not have a mental illness.

For example, with a disease such as schizophrenia, a person hears voices in his head. These voices can tell, command, and even punish a person in various ways. For a believer, these voices may “belong” to demons. It is impossible to rid such a person of demons using religious rituals.

But most of the possessed are healthy, but very suggestible people. Most often, these are women with hysterical personality traits, prone to demonstrative behavior and easily suggestible. In the past, such people were influenced by religion and were most afraid of evil spirits.

If such fertile soil was superimposed on the bright sermons of the clergy about demons and demons that take over the body and soul, they acquired the properties of suggestion in reality, the person developed corresponding beliefs, illusions and hallucinations, which then turned into persistent delirium. That is, hysterical neurosis develops.

Ritual to exorcise the devil

To drive out the devil you need to hang a large mirror on the wall (or just lean it against it). In addition to the mirror, you will need a church candle for a spell on the mirror. Wait until the full moon falls on Sunday. On the night from Saturday to Sunday, from twelve to three in the morning, go to the mirror, light a candle, hold it in front of you and say the spell to the mirror three times:

Deliver me, Lord, from the seduction of the godless and evil-cunning Antichrist who is coming, and hide me from his snares in the hidden desert of Your salvation. Grant me, Lord, the strength and courage to firmly confess Your holy name, so that I will not retreat from the fear of the devil, and may not renounce You, my Savior and Redeemer, from Your Holy Church. But grant me, Lord, day and night to cry and cry for my sins, and have mercy on me, Lord, at the hour of Your Last Judgment. Amen.

Then put out the candle, wrap its remnant in a white cotton rag, put it under your mattress, make sure that the bundle does not disappear from there.

Banishing Candle

You will need:

  • One black candle
  • Candlestick, saucer or foil
  • Matches
  • Black or white pepper
  • Salt
  • Cutting tool
  • Oil (any oil of your choice)

You can purchase a black candle from me. I add expelling herbs (sage, wormwood and others), black salt, special pepper and essential oils to my cleansing candles for cleansing.

  • Witch candle with herbs

  • Black magic candle for cleansing

    400 rub.

Sprinkle salt around you and your work area in a counterclockwise direction. As you do this, visualize the salt creating a barrier to protect you during the ritual. Think about the purpose of your banishment and carve that intention onto the candle. For example, you could cut out “*Name* doesn’t bother me anymore” or “My anxiety is gone.”

When finished, oil the candle and sprinkle it with pepper. Place the candle on the candlestick and light it, loudly voicing your intention. If you feel good, you can turn your intention into a mantra that you repeat while the candle burns.

Let the candle burn out, but do not leave it unattended. If you don't want it to burn, draw a line around its entire circumference. When the candle burns down to this line, you can blow it out and leave it for another banishing ritual.

Rules for reading prayers and spells

Without knowing the specifics of reading prayers, it will not be easy to drive a demon out of a person. The demon will notice that an untrained exorcist is working with him and will not back down so easily.

Requirements for reading a prayer in Russian:

  1. The prayer is read loudly, in a confident voice.
  2. You can't be distracted. The demon will try to stop the process, so don't let this happen.
  3. The exorcist must profess the same faith as the possessed.
  4. The one who exorcises a demon must be clean - regularly fast, receive communion and confess.
  5. The exorcist must be older than the demoniac.
  6. It is forbidden to take money for help in getting rid of the devil.

Believe in the power of faith, the Lord will not leave those who sincerely ask for help in trouble.

Suggestion in reality - how it happens

The mechanism of suggestions in reality was well described by the outstanding Russian psychiatrist V.M. Bekhterev in the book “Suggestion and its role in public life.” According to modern concepts, the human psyche consists of:

  • consciousness – it critically evaluates any incoming information;
  • subconscious or unconscious, accepting any information without critical evaluation; It’s just that consciousness, like an older brother, does not allow unverified information to penetrate into the subconscious.

Suggestion by a demon occurs in reality

In order to enter information into the subconscious, you need to distract the conscious mind. This is exactly what happened during long sermons and prayers: consciousness was dulled and frightening information about demonic entities was introduced at the subconscious level. Of course, all this was done unconsciously, but it gave rise to the development of obsession.

The rite of exorcism is carried out according to the same principle: the consciousness is lulled to sleep by a long reading of the prayer, and then the command to exorcise is sharply introduced into the subconscious. Consolidating the session in the form of an appeal to the Lord by the healed person is also legitimate from the point of view of psychiatry: the removal from the psychic sphere of such information that is significant for a person creates a void in which, according to the definition of the clergy, new seven demons can settle (for example, the demon of despondency, anger, stinginess, etc. .).

How to cast out demons using spells and prayers

To heal from impurities in the body, you should take the person to the temple and negotiate with the priest. If luring a possessed person to church is problematic, then find a spiritual, bright person (exorcist) who will agree to do what you have planned at home.

According to the rules, you need to ask permission from the church to perform an independent exorcism. The problem is that the church rarely allows such rituals. After receiving consent from the clergy, it is allowed to begin the ritual.

Helps in exorcising demons:

  • prayer;
  • reprimand;
  • magic spell.

Features of the ritual of exorcism:

  • the possessed person must lie down and the exorcist read a prayer over him;
  • the words can be anything, all Orthodox prayers for deliverance are suitable for the ritual;
  • The plot is read in the morning and can last for several days.

Stages of the ritual:

  1. As you begin to read the prayer, in a few words pay homage to the saint you are addressing.
  2. Request to expel an entity - “Expel the demon (specify who exactly) from (name of the possessed) and protect him.”
  3. Timing - “Let it be done instantly and forever. I release you (3 times)!”
  4. Ensuring safety - “In the name of a higher power, do not you dare cause harm. Let it be so."
  5. Gratitude - “Accept my bow and reward in return, and if this unclean (name of the demon) is not expelled, let it burn and disappear as if it never happened.”
  6. Blessing - "Be blessed."

All stages of the ritual are repeated until the demon leaves the body of the sufferer.

Signs of obsession

People who are overcome by evil spirits may display the following signs in their behavior:

  • Incredibly aggressive character. He spews curses and curses the church, the saints and all possible bright forces.
  • Symptoms characteristic of epileptic seizures appear: convulsions, foam at the mouth, an absent, wild look.
  • Very strange, inappropriate behavior, hallucinations. The man is clearly out of his mind.
  • A possessed person can speak on behalf of demons; during moments of demon possession, they completely control his consciousness and speech.
  • Feels uneasy near the church, cannot be inside the temple, drink holy water, or hear prayers.
  • In moments of obsession, he begins to speak in an unknown language, his speech is strange and completely incomprehensible.
  • Immoral behavior without any limits.
  • Obsessive idea to commit suicide, suicidal tendencies.

The symptoms listed may not be a sign of obsession, but of mental illness. Therefore, first of all, the patient needs to be examined by doctors and only then turn to a priest for help. Moreover, not everyone has the right to perform the rite of exorcism - special permission from the bishop is required for reprimanding.

Exorcism ritual

Jesus Christ was also an exorcist.

A ritual that casts out demons and everything unclean with the help of sacred prayers is called Exorcism.

It appeared around the first centuries AD, when there was persecution of Christians. Many church ministers hid in the catacombs; adherents who suffered for the sake of their faith could perform miracles and cast out evil spirits.

In the beginning, only Jesus Christ could cast out evil spirits; later the apostles acquired such a gift. At the founding of the church, this gift passed to the priests

In the Middle Ages, the number of healers who could exorcise demons decreased significantly. The church servants repeatedly committed grave sins and were unable to help the possessed man, but were confident in their strength. They justified their failures by saying that the demon was very strong and additional rituals were needed.

Cruel rituals were performed on the unfortunate people, they were fumigated with disgusting odors, they were not given food and water, and their bodies were burned with hot metal. It was believed that evil spirits could not withstand such torture and would soon leave the body, but the patient himself could not stand the cruel torture. The scammers claimed that the deceased was left by a demon, and his death was justified.

Requirements for an exorcist

Casting out a demon is a difficult and dangerous job; the person reading the prayer over the possessed must follow certain rules, otherwise he himself will get sick:

  • He must be older than the demoniac;
  • There should not be a zero in his date of birth;
  • The person reporting must wear a cross and fast;
  • He should not seek fame and take money for his help;
  • In the room where the prayer will be read, remove sharp objects, and it is advisable to tie the possessed person to a chair; When the demon comes out, a person may not control himself.
  • In the week when the sedum is performed, there should be no birthdays, weddings or births of children;
  • A woman with her period should not be present in the house where the ceremony is being held;
  • When reading a prayer, you should not make mistakes or skip words.

Sedum

Sedum is an Orthodox exorcism. (It is worth understanding that believers of other faiths have their own similar rituals.) Sedum is used on people in whom a demon has settled; it is a request for help from God through prayer.

People of any religion have similar rituals.

Prayer to cast out demons from a person:

Questions from visitors and answers from experts:

Biblical parable

The ancient holy scriptures say that several demons can be possessed in a person. This is mentioned in the Gospel.

One of the stories says that Jesus Christ once, while healing a sick person, asked the evil spirits: “What is your name?” In response, the demons said: “My name is Legion.”

The Savior drove out the evil spirits and infused them into the pigs, then the real animals could not stand their neighbors and rushed into the abyss.

Self-reporting

If for some reason you decide to get rid of an unwanted neighbor without the help of priests, you should know how to drive the demon out of yourself:

  • You must remain alone, the demon can quickly find a new victim;
  • The presence of icons and a pectoral cross is required;
  • You must realize that an evil spirit is directing you to all indecent acts;
  • When the sedum takes place, the demon will resist, you must not stop believing in God and in his help.

Prayer to cast out demons:

What is exorcism in simple words

Before defining what exorcism is, it is worth telling why it arose. All religions recognize the existence of evil spirits - demons and demons that penetrate the human body and force him to commit godless acts. Demons instill in a person hatred, anger, despondency, thoughts of suicide, etc. There are demons that cause writhing, tics, convulsive seizures, and the desire to blaspheme.

The girl was possessed by the devil

They learned to cast out the devil with the help of spells and prayers back in pre-Christian times. But the heyday of such rituals occurred in the Middle Ages. At this time, it was customary in religion to talk about the devil’s machinations and the possibility of the devil introducing himself into the human body. Lines from the Bible and other religious books were read out, where such incidents were told in vivid colors. Impressionable religious people literally absorbed information, which led to the development of obsession.

The possessed man believed that the devil had possessed him and was forcing him to do and say unacceptable things. The most unpleasant thing was that the devil could capture many people at the same time, causing real epidemics. Epidemics spread especially often in women's monasteries; nuns became “infected” from each other and became insane.

If they tried to treat such an epidemic en masse using prayers, then this led to its even greater spread. This contributed to the emergence of special rituals of individual exorcism, called exorcism.

Ritual to get rid of the evil spirits within yourself

It’s not easy to get rid of a demon yourself, but if you can’t ask for help in the church, perform an effective ritual on your own.

Rules for exorcising the devil yourself:

  1. Stay alone in the house. The demon will want to find a new victim; this opportunity cannot be given to the unclean.
  2. Remove sharp objects from the room - knives, forks, scissors, needles, etc.
  3. It is necessary to have icons in the room and a cross on the neck.

You need to pray in front of the icon of the Savior, repeating the words until you feel relief. At first it will be difficult, the demon will resist, break from the inside. Don’t give up and remember - the Creator sees everything and helps.

Cleansing and expelling bath

You will need:

  • Bath
  • Epsom salt
  • Chamomile (tea bags will do)
  • Lavender
  • Unsweetened coconut milk (it has protective properties and softens the skin, but milk baths are not for everyone, so not necessary)

This ritual is one of the most pleasant methods of expulsion. Unlike others, it is very relaxing and gives a feeling of freedom.

If you wish, you can light candles, turn off the lights and turn on music. Anything that makes the bath more enjoyable for you is ideal. Fill the tub with water, add Epsom salts, herbs and, if desired, a cup of coconut milk. Stir the water counterclockwise three times and say the following words:

“The problems go away and are washed away, leaving me free from __ from this day forward.”

Now all you have to do is relax, enjoy the bath and let the water do its thing.

How to tell if a person is possessed by demons

One or two signs are not considered proof of possession. They can indicate a person's mental or physical disorder. If almost all points are present in behavior, this is a reason to sound the alarm.

Possession indicators:

  1. Intolerance in talking about God.
  2. Reluctance to be in the temple, to touch shrines. Fear of spiritual people. Inappropriate reaction to the aroma of incense, to blessed water.
  3. Refusal to be baptized and baptize children.
  4. A passionate desire for something. To want to eat is a normal desire; to overeat is a passion for gluttony. The desire to find love is a normal attitude, passion for periodically changing partners, for betrayal is fornication, sin. This applies to all desires. Excessive desire to consume or possess something.
  5. Reasonless hatred, outbursts of aggression.
  6. Knowledge of languages. A person who did not know any language other than his native one begins to speak several (usually Latin).
  7. The voice and intonation changes. The man wheezes, growls, speaks with mockery, with disdain.
  8. Apathy. The obsessed person is not interested in the problems of his relatives and quits his job.
  9. There are voices in your head that command or whisper incomprehensible words.
  10. Insomnia, sleepwalking.
  11. Intense passion for gambling.

Physical signs of obsession include:

  • drying out of the limb;
  • obesity;
  • thinness;
  • convulsions;
  • shiver;
  • sweating;
  • fever.

These ailments do not mean that a demon is in a person, but they can be signs of demon possession.

Prayer to exorcise the devil

Lord, Holy Father! Almighty God is eternal. Throw the Devil into the abyss from the servant of God (name). From the head, from the hair, from the top, from the crown, from the forehead, from the face, from the ears, from the nostrils, from the lips, from the tongue, from the sublingual, from the chest, from the heart, from all bodies, from the bones, from the veins, from the brain, from the thought, from the voice, from all its deeds. From youth, from all accomplishments - let it go into the ground. May the power of Christ, the son of God, abide in him! He abides in worship and praise of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I conjure you, devil, by raising Lazarus. I conjure you, devil, who walked on the sea and tamed its waves. I conjure you, the devil, the holy angels, and those who showed the greatness of their miracles and gave them power and strength. May they heal this illness (name) in every person. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit! I conjure you, devil, by the Lord God Almighty. I conjure you, O devil, by the power of your word you created heaven and earth and the sea and the life in them. I conjure you, devil, by the power of exhaling the spirit! His name is great and scary. I conjure you, devil, in the name of the one who commanded the pestilence to spread decay not above the statute. May the Lord come to judge the world and you, the devil. I conjure you, devil, who preached the resurrection from the dead. I conjure you, O devil, who went out onto Mount Sinai and appeared to Moses in the bush of fire. I conjure you, devil, in the name of the Lord God, I conjure you, devil, who has not brought down fire from heaven, I conjure you, devil, in the name of Sodom and Gomorrah, cities of the wicked. I conjure you, the devil, who created the sky and the foot of the earth with your feet, I conjure you, the devil, who ordered the sea to dry up its sources. I conjure you, devil, by the will of the coming from heaven to earth with a trumpet voice. I conjure you, the devil, sitting on the throne, great and terrible! A river of fire flows before him, and in it sinful souls wash away their sins. I conjure you, devil, in the name of the great and terrible - go, devil, into the river of fire from (name). Holy, holy, holy, our Lord. Blessed be the Lord!

Other rituals

In addition to Orthodox prayers, there are also folk rituals that help expel demons from the human body, which can be used at home.

An example of how to cast a demon out of a person:

A person possessed by a demon must sit on a threshold anywhere, inside or outside a living space. At the same time, there should not be any decorations on it, except for the cross. He needs to put a snow-white towel under his feet, throw some change on it, but not count it, and sprinkle some sunflower seeds next to him, and he should start combing his hair and cracking the seeds.

After these words, the demon will leave. In order for him not to return, all objects from the ceremony must be wrapped and taken to the cemetery, placed there on any grave and said:

Cross yourself three times and leave without looking back.

Reflective Exile

You will need:

  • Small mirror
  • Something for writing (felt pens work well)

This is a very simple banishing ritual designed to reflect negativity back onto the target. This ritual is only meant to get rid of problematic spirits and unwanted people in your life.

On the back of the mirror, write the name of your goal, and below it the words:

“You sent me chaos, you hurt me, and from now on I reflect it all.”

Keep the mirror to yourself until the target is removed from your life.

These rituals are basic templates. More complex banishing rituals can be created by adding something of your own to them or combining them together.

After any expulsion, it is important to take one final step as a safety precaution. To do this, be sure to read the information about filling the energy void after expulsion or cleansing.

Anti-Exorcist Anti-Exorcist Lyrics

He was born in the Underworld. A litter of triplets He fought for his world, he was a brave warrior Not dead, but there are scars from the extreme massacre He has not been single for a long time, he is loaded with armor-piercing weapons He has thirteen wives. While there are thirteen wives What we are deprived of, he is clearly not deprived If your woman is beautiful, immediately hide her He, out of duty, took vows of polygamy He works while the saints somewhere rub their glasses He expels the angels, and so the night passes to the morning He is like a solid rod. However, I don’t bother helping him Those whom the angel feeds from his hands. That demon is like a corpse He returns souls to the clutches of the cardinals of Satan He extinguishes the light in the darkness. The coordinates are given. He is not an engineer of sin and not even a humanitarian. He expels the Holy Spirit from innocent creatures.

Demons, demons, demons, demons, demons! Raise my veins! Come! Come! Fall! Fall! Fall! Holy Spirit, come forth! Demons, demons, demons, demons, demons! Raise my veins! Come! Come! Fall! Fall! Fall! Holy Spirit, come forth!

His eyelids were sewn up for thirty shekels. He can see that he is forever blind. A prophet like Ezekiel He is tall, like Slenderman, beyond physics Everything that is in you from God, from now on, throw it in the mud The Devil is extremely scared by his tactics Demons flow: “What is this bandit doing!” Exotic even according to diabolical dogmatists He doesn’t care about politics or the Vatican He has a white cassock with a black collar In the ritual he serves as a guide over and over again He does not baptize, but draws a circle, muttering dully: “In the name of mother and daughter and the Evil Spirit!” Works are in abundance, he expels en masse. There is no Bible in his hands, everyone takes him at his word. He cries with his eyes sewn shut. But don’t believe his tears. He is not against Satan, but not for him either.

Demons, demons, demons, demons, demons! Raise my veins! Come! Come! Fall! Fall! Fall! Holy Spirit, come forth! Demons, demons, demons, demons, demons! Raise my veins! Come! Come! Fall! Fall! Fall! Holy Spirit, come forth!

You blame demons for everything, but you shouldn’t. A demon is not an enemy to a demon. These are the foundations of hell. People kill people! Brother against brother People carry evil in their souls, and the Devil wears Prada An angel teaches you to be humble, a demon teaches you to be free A demon is never evil, just like an angel is good It’s just that the winners always write history Angels and demons are a war for territory

Demons, demons, demons, demons, demons! Raise my veins! Come! Come! Fall! Fall! Fall! Holy Spirit, come forth! Demons, demons, demons, demons, demons! Raise my veins! Come! Come! Fall! Fall! Fall! Holy Spirit, come forth!

Introduction

Hello. My name is Arsentiy Cheremisov. I am glad to present you this unusual book. I hope you find it useful. When I wrote it, I set myself the goal of looking at the problem of exorcism and possession in a larger and broader way than I myself saw at the time of planning this book.

I often encounter complete or partial misunderstanding of this issue. I myself know very little, and I wanted to know more. Writing this book was an incentive for me to study and immerse myself in this topic. As a result, when I came face to face with this abyss of information, without exaggeration, I was shocked to the core. At first I was confused, but after collecting my thoughts, step by step I began to acquire some knowledge in this area.

As a result, I walked along the edge of an immense source of information. In truth, even a few lifetimes are not enough to study this topic truly deeply. However, we must strive for this.

I believe that my God is the source and author of all knowledge and wisdom in the universe. Although previously a source of love, it gives knowledge as a tool and wisdom as instructions for their use.

It saddens me to see how knowledge and education are sometimes considered something negative and unnecessary. The fact that it only makes a person arrogant and rarely brings benefit. I sincerely believe that this is not so. Although I cannot but agree that knowledge for the sake of knowledge is degradation.

In my opinion, in order to grow and be more effective in all areas of life, you need to constantly develop. Don't stand still. Constantly learn new things, update your knowledge, complementing it. Acquire new skills for versatile service to God.

Chapter 1

In our time, reeking of extreme tolerance and indifference, one can find beautiful flowers of goodwill, love and warmth. This world is big and diverse. The streams of development of human self-awareness and culture form the winding channel of history, where each wave screams and craves your attention, declaring its importance. It is easy to lose your hearing in such a cacophony of teachings. And your hands reach to your ears to feel calm and look around in search of a solid foundation. In the midst of the dominance of various new ideas about this world, in recent times, more and more attention has been paid to religion. Forcing us to look again and again at our past, at our heritage dating back tens of centuries. Finding in it answers to pressing questions, consolation and liberation. And exorcism, as a strong-willed desire to gain freedom, break the shackles of darkness and breathe deeply.

Exorcism is a purposeful manifestation of the will to gain freedom.

Exorcism
(in the Catholic tradition, Greek: ἐξορκισμός) is a procedure for expelling demons and other supernatural creatures from a person possessed by them through prayers and rituals.
Ideas about exorcism have an ancient history and are an integral part of the belief system in many religions and cults. In this book, as in any source of information, everyone can find something useful for themselves. I believe that everyone needs to have the ability to think critically. Because, how often we encounter things that for one reason or another do not suit us. And what we may not agree with.

It is up to us to treat this as an obstacle or as a starting point to unlock potential. One way or another, here everyone interested in the topic of exorcism can expect something new and interesting for themselves.

Exorcism is an act aimed at gaining freedom and overthrowing shackles.

Unfreedom lies in the fact that power over life is in the hands of others and becomes inaccessible to us. Power that is used to oppress and oppress. For limitations in development and the inability to realize one’s potential as laid down by God.

What does it mean to be free “in the world”?

My body, my mind, my freedom! (My body, my mind, my freedom!) Those striving to declare their freedoms and rights to it proudly and rightly exclaim. There is no mistake here, everything is correct. We have power over our body and mind. They belong to us. However, more often than not the picture is actually a little distorted.

(Romans 6:19)

«19.

I speak from human reasoning, because of the weakness of your flesh. Just as you presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and lawlessness for wicked works, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness for holy works.

20

. For while you were slaves to sin, then you were free from righteousness.”

In simple terms, from the lips of freedom fighters it sounds and is understood as follows: the body and mind belong to me, whatever I want, I do with them. And this doesn't concern you.

What does freedom in Christ mean?

If you look from the outside, these are continuous rules, laws, restrictions. Where is the real freedom here? What is she like?..

Freedom is the possibility for a subject to express his will based on awareness of the laws of development of nature and society.

Freedom is a state of a subject in which he is the determining cause of his actions, that is, they are not directly determined by other factors, including natural, social, interpersonal-communicative and individual-tribal.

A little clarification is needed here. What does “not conditional” mean? This means that no external circumstances can influence the decision and lead one astray from the right path. Change your decision. Don't be captivated by circumstances.

Jesus said:

(Luke 4:18-19)

«18.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me; For He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor, and He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach freedom to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are afflicted,

19.

preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

Of course, this speaks of freedom from sin. To gain freedom from sin, sincere repentance is necessary.

Repentance as accepting responsibility for all actions and admitting one’s wrongfulness and apostasy from the good, creative Path. God's Path that He has prepared for us.

Repentance, then, is the acceptance of responsibility and therefore power over what happens to us in our lives. Together with the desire and desire to change the situation at the moment and not repeat past mistakes in the future.

Repentance is not a tool of the Lord Jesus Christ to control, oppress and manipulate through guilt for what we have done. But the first and natural step is to take responsibility for your life, clothed in a desire combined with the desire to change it. By accepting the consequences of your past actions.

Having entered the right position, realizing and accepting your power and responsibility for life, you are filled with a feeling of freedom, gratitude, love to the depths of your heart. All this naturally brings us closer to God and people.

Freedom is the ability to take the helm into your own hands and, with the help and participation of the Holy Spirit, act in accordance with His creative nature. And renewed thinking. The creative nature is instilled in us by God Himself.

It’s not entirely true that you have repented and are waiting for where the Holy Spirit will lead you, that’s where you will go. The Holy Spirit tells you where to go, but He will not take a single step for you, because this is your life path. Which you must go through yourself.

You reap the benefits either way. If you don't take control and operate with the help of the Holy Spirit, then someone else will take control. For example, our flesh. And she will be guided not by the Holy Spirit at all, but by lust. Lust is desires and passion that turn us away from God.

We don't sit and wait for the Holy Spirit to come and do everything in our lives.

We do not indulge our flesh. We do not indulge our souls either. But we take responsibility for our lives into our own hands and go where the Holy Spirit points us.

Responsibility is power. In which area you take responsibility, in that area you begin to feel freedom.

One such area is the family. By accepting responsibility in the family, we do not act selfishly. We begin to take care of everyone. A natural desire for order appears, to meet each other’s needs. The desire for each family member to develop well.

Another area is the place of work. If you are the manager of a company who has truly taken responsibility, then naturally you become interested in its successful development. You try to cover the needs of the company, take care of those who work for you. After all, they entrusted part of their lives. You don't use people just to satisfy your needs. Don't "pull the blanket over yourself." On the contrary, you are interested in who needs what and try to develop human resources, helping to unlock everyone’s potential. After all, the potential of each employee makes up the potential of the company.

If you are a simple worker, the quality of the work you perform depends on you. How effectively do you cope with the area that has been entrusted to you?

The company does not become for you. But you are for company. You are for the family.

Not life for you. But you are here for this life, so that you can manage it wisely. She was not entrusted to you so that you could exist, satisfying your whims, going with the flow.

Freedom from sin implies understanding and awareness not only of what not to do. But also how to develop our potential, which God has placed in us. Can inaction be sinful?

(Matthew 25)

«18.

He who received one talent went and buried it in the ground and hid his master’s money.”

The restrictions that we accept in our lives do not become an obstacle for us that prevents us from developing. But by cutting off the excess, they form a guiding vector for correct and harmonious development.

Jesus Christ is our example.

(Matthew 10:7-8)

«7.

As you go, preach that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand...

8.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons; Freely you have received, freely give.”

The ministry that Jesus entrusts to us.

He wants us to take responsibility for this world. We were not just cohabitants in this world. First for your life, then for your family and loved ones. Then for the society in which we live. And then for the whole world and everyone in it.

He wants us not to isolate ourselves and not stop fighting our sins. And we learned from them that we need to go and serve people.

By accepting responsibility for this world, we gain freedom.

(Genesis 1:26-28)

«26.

And God said: Let us make man in Our image and after Our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing. on the ground.

27.

And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them.

28.

And God blessed them, and God said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea [and over the animals], and over the birds of the air, [and over every livestock, and over all the earth,] and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Before us, God created this universe. He put us here with responsibility and power.

This earth was not created for us to do with it what we want, and not to dispose of it as we want.

But we are the owners of this land, initially endowed with freedom, who accepted responsibility for its condition and everyone who lives on it.

Service means meeting people's needs. Food, shelter, spiritual needs. Service is a natural manifestation of freedom, responsibility, power, love. By accepting responsibility, we gain freedom and serve people intelligently, lovingly, and meeting their needs. But we also don’t forget that sometimes people need to develop themselves and go through difficulties and trials to grow.

Serving others does not mean putting yourself down. This means putting others above yourself without putting yourself down.

Work is service. We meet the needs of other people and get paid for it. It is a mistake to think that we are doing this only for money. One of the secrets to successful multi-million dollar companies is to not make money and fool people. And the fact is that by satisfying their needs, people receive more than just a product.

So, by accepting responsibility, we accept power. Direct, bring changes to the sphere of our lives. Be it family, work, society, our body, our life.

Freedom is the ability to change your life in accordance with Scripture. Without accepting responsibility, this will be impossible to do.

Freedom in Christ means service, meeting needs, and good creative stewardship.

If you look more broadly, you can see the following:

Exorcism is the restoration of our power over areas of our lives, parts of our personality and inner world.

Chapter 2

James George Frazer "The Golden Bough" A Study of Magic and Religion. 2001 (Frazer GG The golden Bough, London - 1923) pp. 230-231.

“Primitive man looks at the world completely differently. The world appears to his imagination as a temple, with motley creatures; fairies and brownies, ghosts and demons still hover above him in dreams and in reality. These creatures follow him on his heels, blind his senses, enter into him, maliciously disturb, deceive and torment him in a thousand ways. Primitive man, as a rule, attributes the misfortunes that befell him, the losses he suffered and the torment he endured, to the magic of enemies or malice, anger or the whim of spirits. The persistent presence of these spirits tires him, and their incessant anger irritates him. Primitive man experiences an inexpressible desire to get rid of them once and for all, and from time to time, being driven to the extreme, he completely loses his temper, attacks his pursuers with anger and makes desperate efforts to expel them en masse from the country, to clear the air of their countless hosts, so that to get the opportunity, at least for a while, to breathe more freely and fearlessly walk on the ground.

The desire of primitive peoples to finally get rid of the disasters that beset them, as a rule, takes the form of a great hunt or a great expulsion of devils and ghosts. It seems to the participants in these images that as soon as they shake off their damned tormentors, they will begin a new life, happy and serene, a life in which the myths about Eden and the ancient Golden Age, sung by poets, will once again come true...

People, from the very time they began to realize themselves, their personality, began to find the manifestation of diverse personalities around them. In natural phenomena. In the animal world. And even stones and certain places. This was also necessary for building dialogue and interaction with the environment. For a deeper understanding of nature and life phenomena. Often these personalities were simply invented by a person, assigned to one or another phenomenon. But not all. A person understood that if he has a personality, then there are other personalities.

The world seemed to man as a world filled with spirits. With a kind of hierarchy. After all, without hierarchy there could be no order. But the world still, despite the apparent spontaneity and chaos, obeys certain laws.”

The spiritual world is incomprehensible, inaccessible and very complicated. We know very little about him. However, what we know can give us a basis for some obvious conclusions. Demons exist. Demons have a hierarchy and a certain order. And if so, it means they have goals that they adhere to. They pursue their own interests. But are we able to accept it so simply as a given?..

Nowadays, it is increasingly difficult to raise your head and look at the world around you. In rare cases, we get such an opportunity when we are not burdened with our worries, vanity and gadgets. We are all moving away from the real world, replacing it with a virtual one. Giving the initiative into the wrong hands to model our picture of reality. Leaving us the privilege of uncomplainingly accepting what is given, in silent consent.

When building a worldview, many rely on science and scientific theories. As a more trustworthy system. The arguments of which are more clear and justified. We can test its fundamentals experimentally. Which sometimes deprives us of any doubt about the veracity and stability of our worldview. Science is undoubtedly a strong foundation for building a worldview. However…

However, those who choose such a foundation often believe not in their own experience, but in scientific literature. Theories of learned people. Authoritative persons who support their teaching with a couple, three, or a large number of experiments assure the validity of the entire theory. And we are ready to believe and be convinced. Then the question is, what is the difference between faith in a textbook on molecular physics and Holy Scripture? You have to believe in both cases. No, I do not oppose science to religion. And even more than that, science studies God's creation. He studies His laws by which He made this world.

When, due to the development of culture and history, people of science began to penetrate into new areas. Previously, the former were monopolized by religion. Such as medicine, psychology, psychiatry. In a word, the area of finer matters, into the human body and into his soul. Then scientists began to face difficult tasks. In which it was often necessary to go beyond established dogmas and false ideas in order to solve problems and find causes and effects. But step by step, an amazing picture began to emerge in front of them. One is more wonderful than the other.

With the thirst and passion of pioneers in every field of science, new discoveries were made every now and then. Transforming the understanding of modern science at that time and giving no other options but to reconsider everything again and try to string on the thread of another new theory, beads of experience and facts. Theories changed along with the eras. Special knowledge was deepened. The vision expanded.

But periodically, again and again, they turned to the Word of God, despite the fact that the desire to form an alternative version of the description of reality drove progress forward. As if separating from God further and further. But this world was created by God, which means everything that happens in it testifies to Him. Anyway.

“Life on earth and beyond” Moscow 1991 Lyell Watson “Romeo’s Mistake.” P. 350.

Age regression. Moscow psychiatrist Vladimir Raikov ( Raikov Vladimir Leonidovich
(1934-2007) - psychotherapist, Doctor of Medical Sciences. Particular attention was attracted by his experiments on the development of human creative abilities, using hypnosis methods. He conducted fundamental research into the nature and possibilities of hypnosis. These works brought him world fame. Author's note)
with its help awakened students' creative abilities in the visual arts and music. Rachmaninov wrote his famous second piano concerto after such a session and dedicated it to the hypnotist.

Science experiment? Demon possession, or a way to awaken reserve abilities? Everything unknown can cause rejection and superstitious, inexplicable fear. The same thing happened once with surgery and other scientific disciplines. Maybe the question is: for what purpose is this tool used?

Until we start asking questions, driven people, without understanding the basics and without a twinge of conscience, will accept everything they are told. And do as they are taught, without thinking about what they are actually doing.

“Life on earth and beyond” Moscow 1991 Lyell Watson “Romeo’s Mistake.” P. 339.

“Eugene Marais conducted research in the field of Hypnotic Hyperesthesia. ( Hyperesthesia
(Greek ὑπερ– – extremely, excessively Greek αἴσθησις – sensation, sensitivity) – increased sensitivity to stimuli acting on the sense organs. Refers to neurological peripheral lesions and qualitative changes. Author’s note.)
He discovered that while , under hypnosis, a person could recognize the presence of quinine in a solution with a concentration of one half-millionth of a percent. Whereas in the normal state he needed a solution four times stronger. After twelve people took turns holding a small object in their hands, they placed it in a vessel. He, having sniffed the object and people’s hands, could return each object to the one who touched it first. Marais discovered that under hypnosis a person is able to hear a sound reminiscent of the hissing of a snake at a distance of two hundred meters, whereas under normal conditions it did not exceed thirty meters. Even a baboon, especially sensitive to the presence of a snake, is able to detect the hiss of a snake at a distance of no more than sixty meters.

Apparently, at an unconscious level, we receive more information than we need and it is passed through filters of perception and experience, programmed for a narrower range of signals.”

The Lord gave us truly amazing abilities when we were created. He gave us enough spiritual resources and ways to master and use them. What explorers encounter is only a small part of all that God has planned for us from the beginning. For each of us.

And if you think that you are not capable of anything. Let this encourage you.

“Life on earth and beyond” Moscow 1991 Lyell Watson “Romeo’s Mistake.” P. 343.

“Mary Roffe died July 5, 1865, aged 18 years. By all accounts, she was a strange girl, prone to epileptic seizures and headaches, which she relieved with bloodletting.

They say she had blind vision: she read books blindfolded and letters that were not taken out of their envelopes. On April 16, 1864, fourteen months before Mary died of convulsions, another girl was born in the same city. For the first thirty years of her life, Lurancy Vennum was no different from her peers, but when she reached maturity, strange things began to happen to her. At first she plunged into a cataleptic state ( Catalepsy
(Greek κατάληψις - grasping, holding) - often called in psychiatry “waxy flexibility” (Latin flexibitas cerea), pathologically long-term preservation of the given position; usually observed in the catatonic form of schizophrenia or in narcolepsy, when the patient goes from a state of wakefulness immediately (bypassing all phases of slow-wave sleep) to a state characteristic of paradoxical sleep, which is accompanied by muscle atonia.It is often combined with other manifestations of increased suggestibility: echopraxia (repetition of seen gestures), echolalia (repetition of heard words), etc. n. Catalepsy can be induced in a state of hypnosis. Author's note.)
, which lasted five years, then from time to time she began to fall into trances, during which she saw “angels” and “spirits.” She was considered insane and was placed under the supervision of a psychiatrist. He discovered that she was possessed by two different personalities: an old, evil witch and a suicidal youth. Under hypnosis, Lurancy managed to restore her own personality, explaining that there is only one way to get rid of two evil spirits: to allow an angel to move in who is trying to help her. When asked if she knew who it was, she replied: “Her name is Mary Roffe.”

Laurencie seemed to turn into Mary and was allowed to live with the Roffe family. She was perfectly happy knowing everyone and everything that Mary knew. I recognized friends and acquaintances, calling them by name, and recalled thousands of details from Mary’s life. This obsession lasted three months and ten days. Suddenly Lurancy woke up and returned to her family, whom she recognized again.

Mary Roffe died when Lurancy was only a year old. The Roffe and Vennum families did not know each other. There was no way to find out so many small details. Having come to her senses, Lurancy had no memory of the past hundred days and never encountered such problems again.”

Was it possession by a demon who was posing as the soul of the unfortunate girl, or was it something else that we will never know? By asking such questions, we look for answers to them, strengthening and establishing ourselves in the foundations that are embedded in us. The question motivates a person to develop, learn new things, and not stand still. In this book I will ask more questions than give answers. Be prepared for this. Perhaps some of them will seem simple to you and the answer to them will be obvious to you. Well, some will cause mixed reactions in you. This is good. Just keep reading and perhaps you can find the answer to your question in this book. But I hope that this book will not be enough for you.

Archimandrite Tikhon “Unholy Saints” and other stories. Sretensky Monastery Publishing House, 2012, p. 419.

“... Psychiatrists told how in pre-revolutionary Russia they distinguished the mentally ill from the possessed. The doctors used a simple method: they placed several identical cups with ordinary water and one with Epiphany water in front of the patient. If the patient calmly drank water from all the cups, he was sent to the hospital. If he refused to drink from a cup of holy water, began to go on a rampage, and fell into oblivion, this was already under the authority of the exorcist.

...At lectures we often meet malingerers, cliques, or truly mentally ill people...

...St. Ignatius (Brianchanikov) wrote back in the 19th century about games of reprimand on the part of the “healer”: “Soul-destructive acting and the saddest comedy - elders who take on the role of ancient holy elders, not having their spiritual gifts.”

Demons are like parasites in the human body. You may not know about them, you may not even believe in their existence, but they really parasitize souls and, unnoticed by their owners, control their thoughts and actions. And they cannot understand why strange, bad and absurd things happen to them, and their whole life turns into a flow from one mistake to another.”

We will consider these and many other questions in detail in the light of the Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant points of view. And also Scientific. In some places you can find differences, inconsistencies in opinion on a number of issues. Let this give you the opportunity to look at the problem of obsession from different angles. To have a three-dimensional view, to be more objective when necessary.

How does the Orthodox Church feel about reprimands today? Do they carry out reports now, or is this a thing of the past? Why did Orthodoxy begin to scold people in large gatherings of people, in churches? On what basis? How to feel about this?..

Exorcism in the Catholic Church. New methods of exorism? Do demons defeated by humans hold back from further attacks? Do all sins result from the temptation of the devil? Is it possible to drive out demons from an entire city at once?..

Protestant view of possession. If a freed person wants to remain free, should he be baptized in water? How to maintain your liberation? How to create an atmosphere intolerable to demons? What manifestations accompany the release of demons from a possessed person? Can Christians be possessed by a demon?..

How does science look at obsession? Does this relate more to psychiatry or psychology? Are those who are possessed mentally ill or not? What methods of psychotherapy explain and come into contact with the phenomenon of subpersonality?..

Origins of the spell from Romanesque ritual

The very exorcism of the demon in Latin from Supernatural is a peculiar interpretation of a real Romanesque ritual common in Eastern Europe in the 13th century. According to many experts, the modern text of the spell is somewhat different from that used in ancient times. According to them, only fragments of real prayers and texts from the Bible can be found in its composition.

But even so, the person is still capable of converting and being delivered. A person who sells himself to Satan is a person who has been deceived by Satan, and at some point he may realize this. When one meets such a person, one encounters a world of hatred and perversion. The goal is the destruction of human life.

The presence of a possessed person can cause problems in people and also cause discontent in homes. For spectators of an exorcism, fear can cause great danger. One must always be in a state of grace, protected by the blood of Jesus, and believe that Christ is the only Savior who is powerful.

Interestingly, over the years the ritual itself has changed. Some of it was lost, others were written and added. Thus, several variations of this ritual have reached our time. However, in most cases the words for exorcising incorporeal creatures were borrowed from a short version of the Romanesque ritual and Psalms 67-68.

Many say he did nothing to deserve his suffering. Faith tells us that God is not the cause of evil and that he accepts evil only to bring out a greater good. Through this process, many families returned to faith and the sacraments. Second case = the victim is not in a state of grace, but does not yet consent to possession. We also classify those who are not baptized as having never known the life of grace. 3rd case = the victim is not in a state of grace and completely agrees to the possession.

This case comes from the pact established with Satan. This is the case of the Black Mass, Hard Rock, the practice of magic, the sessions of Spiritualism. Those who succumb to this sad game have the illusion of winning the friendship of the devil. They do not know that the devil has no friends, and his friendship is dangerous or even harmful. Why were the prayers of the ritual prayed in Latin and not in another language? Latin is called the “language of the sky.”

Why is exorcism dangerous?

A properly conducted exorcism session by an experienced, trained clergyman will not cause harm. In most cases, it will contribute to the recovery or relief of the possessed person’s condition. Damage will occur if:

  • the ritual is performed with a mentally ill person suffering from schizophrenia, epilepsy, etc. – the reaction of such patients is unpredictable, they can suffer significant harm;
  • the ritual is carried out by a non-specialist, which causes a deepening of neurosis;
  • in addition to prayers, physical methods of influence are used to force demons to leave the human body: beating, starvation, etc.; There were many such examples not only in the Middle Ages, but also in our time: in 2010 in Britain, a teenager was killed during a ritual independently carried out by relatives to expel demons with water.
