During Great Lent, the prayer of Ephraim the Syrian is read every day except Saturday and Sunday. It is considered a Lenten symbol and stands out very much among other chants and hymns.
Troparion, tone 41

You have prayed for those who have been crucified, O lusty Lord, / and commanded Your servants to pray for them at once, / to forgive those who hate and offend us, / and from all evil and wickedness to brotherly love and virtue. give life, / we humbly offer you a prayer, / let us glorify you in unanimity You, // the One Lover of Mankind.
Translation: For those who crucified You, the Lord, who loves the souls of men, prayed, and commanded Your servants to pray for their enemies, forgive those who hate and offend us, and direct our lives from all evil and cunning to brotherly loving and virtuous ones, we humbly offer a prayer to You, and in unanimity we glorify You , One Lover of Humanity.
Prayers for different occasions
“Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed” (Jer. 17:14). One, wise and merciful Physician, I beg Your goodness, heal the ulcers of my soul and enlighten the eyes of my mind, so that I can understand Your constant dispensation for me! And since my heart and my mind have become fools (have gone mad), then may Thy grace, this true salt, correct them. What will I tell you, Forerunner, who searches hearts and wombs? You alone know that, like the waterless land, my soul thirsts for You, and my heart longs for You. And Your grace has always satisfied the one who loves You. Therefore, as You have always listened to me, so now do not despise my prayer. For my mind, like a captive, seeks You, the only true Savior. Therefore, send Your grace to come to my aid soon, and it will satisfy my hunger, quench my thirst. For I lust after you insatiably, Lord. And who can be satisfied with You if he truly loves You and thirsts for the light of Your truth? Fulfill my requests, O Giver of light, and grant me, through my prayer, pour out into my heart a single drop of Thy grace: may the flame of Thy love kindle in my heart, like fire in a forest, and may it consume (devour) evil thoughts like thorns and thistles. Give me richly and without measure, like God to man, grant me like the King of kings, multiply like a good father. If I, as a wicked person, have rejected and continue to reject Your gifts, You, as the one who filled the waterpots with Your blessing, quench my thirst with Your grace and, as the one who fed five thousand, feed me, the hungry one, with Your grace, O Lord. Grant, O Lover of Mankind, the request of Thy servant who beseeches Thee. For behold, the air brightens, and the birds change their voices from the glory of Thy great Wisdom. So the whole earth puts on a robe of various colors, woven without human hands, rejoices and celebrates a double holiday - a holiday for the sake of its firstborn son Adam, because he was called to life, and a holiday for the sake of its Master. So the sea is filled with Your grace and enriches those who sail on it. Your grace has granted me the boldness to speak before You, and the desire that I have within myself compels me to go to You. The serpent, the instrument of the murderer from time immemorial, coming at this time, opens his mouth; How much more will Your servant, who desires You, open his mouth to the glory and praise of Your grace. And may the dew of Your grace water my mind and decorate it with the flowers of humility, contrition, love and patience. And what should I say? Behold, my prayer is weak, but my iniquities are great and strong. Sins oppress me, and my infirmities trouble me; You are rich and good, merciful and generous. You, who opened the eyes of the blind, open the eyes of my mind, so that I may continually contemplate Your beauty. Thou who hast opened the mouth of him who weareth the yoke, open my mouth to Thy praise and to the glory of Thy grace. You, who set a limit to the sea by the word of Your command, set a limit also to my heart by Your grace, so that it does not turn aside “to the right hand or to the left” (Deut. 5:32) from Your beauty. You, who gave water in the desert to a rebellious and quarrelsome people, give me contrition and tears for my eyes to cry day and night throughout my life with humility, with love and with a pure heart. Let “my prayer come near unto Thee, O Lord” (Ps. 119:169), and grant me the holy seed, that I may bring unto Thee full hilts of contrition. Glory to the Giver of what to bring to Him! Hear, O Lord, the prayer of Thy servant, through the intercession of all Thy saints, thou art blessed above all forever! Amen.

Translation: Just as Your first martyr Stephen prayed to You for those who were killing him, O Lord, we too, falling down, pray: forgive those who hate everyone and offend us, so that not one of them will perish because of us, but all will be saved by Your grace, God is generous to everyone.

Orthodox Church Council on Hate
In case of conflict with neighbors or relatives, the Church advises:
• Get rid of hatred towards other people, be calm in an argument, do not show irritation with a raised tone or insults (even in response). It is difficult, but with the help of prayer and self-soothing, anything is possible.
• Even if you dislike your opponents, try to pray for them - the prayer we have given below is quite short and easy. You will feel how the insult is forgotten, and most importantly, you no longer wish these people harm - after all, this is dangerous, it is known that curses and anger will return to you a hundredfold.
• Remember that the Church strongly condemns conspiracies and sending curses on opponents in a conflict, neighbors or relatives, and turning to sorcerers and psychics for this as a great sin. You should not multiply hatred by turning to the enemy of the human race - and it is with his help that any magicians, psychics, and especially “Orthodox witches and healers” do their dark deeds (these people only use the name of the Church for cover and advertising).
• Through a prayer called from neighbors, the Lord helps resolve the conflict itself, which will be resolved with the help of circumstances or new ideas - trust God, listen to the good thoughts that your heart tells you. There is evidence that after praying for neighbors - and in it people ask for peace and tranquility - the opponents even became friends.
Prayer before the icon of the Mother of God “Softening Evil Hearts”

Oh, the long -suffering of the Mother of God, who exceeded all the dimers of the earth, by their purity and by many suffering, with the same on the lands of the transferred, the multi -shed eyes of the praying and preserving us under your crumb. Translation: O long-suffering Mother of God, who exceeds all the daughters of the earth, in Your purity and in the multitude of sufferings You endured on earth, accept our long-suffering groans and keep us under the shelter of Your mercy. Prayer for those who hate. How to love those who hate?
This should not be attributed to evil forces. witchcraft influence or unrighteousness of other people. After all, quarrels happen for natural everyday and psychological reasons: differences in worldview and outlook, differences in education and upbringing and, of course, the distance between generations, the difference in characters. Try not to judge your neighbors or relatives, especially not to hate them or be angry. Ask yourself what a saint you revered or the Lord Himself would do in your place. Remember in prayer even those who insult or offend you, hope that with God’s help your situation will be resolved.

Sermon on the Mount or how to forgive those who hate us
Jesus, having climbed the mountain, taught people the basics of a happy, righteous life (Matthew 5:37-47), calling not to avenge an eye for an eye, but to forgive, filling your heart with kindness and patience.
The importance of prayer for those who offend and hate lies precisely in this sermon; if you want to become a son or daughter of the King of Heaven, to receive His Grace on earth and eternal life in Heaven, follow the commandments:
- loves his enemies;
- bless those who curse;
- pray for those who offend;
- do good to those who hate you;
- accept your persecutors.
Jesus Christ revealed the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount
Prayer for those who have offended and hated is needed to a greater extent by the victim himself in order to gain perfection, to put on God’s clothing of righteousness and love for the sake of the future salvation of himself and his descendants.

Prayer to soften evil hearts
Calls to pacify the desire of ill-wishers to cause harm, replacing it with faith in the Lord and spiritual wisdom. He asks to soften the hearts of the embittered, open them towards virtue and heal them from the wounds inflicted by the arrows of evil.
