Have you never seen what sweet, meek, pure beauty looks at you from the petals and corollas of forget-me-nots and violets, these tender and blue flowers, these crumbs of God? Haven't you seen how these flowers look at you with their clear eyes? Haven’t you really felt the meekness, purity and beauty in these little creatures of God? Haven't you ever thought that these little ones of God - white, pink, blue - teach us purity and meekness, which they themselves are full of? One must have a very coarse heart not to hear this voice of God, sounding so clearly in the beauty of the material forms of nature.
