Living in the help of the Most High, he will settle in the shelter of the Heavenly God. Says the Lord: Thou art my Protector and my Refuge, my God, and I trust in Him. For He will deliver you from the snare of the trap, and from rebellious words, His splash will overshadow you, and under His wing you hope: His truth will surround you with weapons.
Do not be afraid from the fear of the night, from the arrow that flies during the day, from the thing that passes in the darkness, from the cloak, and from the demon of the midday. Thousands will fall from your country, and darkness will fall at your right hand, but it will not come close to you, otherwise you will look at your eyes, and you will see the reward of sinners.
For You, O Lord, are my hope, You have made the Most High your refuge. Evil will not come to you, and wound will not approach your body, as His Angel commanded you to keep you in all your ways.
They will lift you up in their arms, but not when you dash your foot on a stone, step on an asp and a basilisk, and cross a lion and a serpent. For I have trusted in Me, and I will deliver, and I will cover, and because I have known My name.
He will call to Me, and I will hear him: I am with him in sorrow, I will overcome him, and I will glorify him, I will fill him with long days, and I will show him My salvation.
Psalm 90 in Russian: text with modern translation
He who lives under the roof of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty, rests, says to the Lord: “My refuge and my defense, my God, in whom I trust!” He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, from the destructive plague; He will overshadow you with His feathers, and under His wings
You will be safe; shield and fence are His truth. You will not be afraid of the terrors in the night, the arrow that flies by day, the plague that walks in the darkness, the plague that devastates at noon. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you: you will only look with your eyes and see the retribution of the wicked.
For you said: “The Lord is my hope”; You have chosen the Most High as your refuge; no evil will befall you, and no plague will come near your dwelling; for He will command His angels about you - to guard you in all your ways: they will carry you in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone; you will step on the asp and basilisk; You will trample on the lion and the dragon.
“Because he loved Me, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he has known My name. He will call to Me, and I will hear him; I am with him in sorrow; I will deliver him and glorify him, I will satisfy him with long days, and I will show him My salvation

In general, all prayers aimed at saving the soul are very important. And Psalm 90 is no exception. What is interesting about the text of the prayer Living Help, which is pronounced with an appeal to the Most High?
It is said that Moses himself wrote the prayer. There is also a version that the author of the text is King David, who created the prayer around the 9-10th century BC.
The uniqueness of this text is that it is used not only by Orthodox people, but also by another religion - Judaism.
It is best to carry the text with prayer with you, write it down somewhere and fold a sheet of paper several times so that you can read it at any convenient time, protecting yourself from any danger.
Many people prefer to write the words “Living Help” on a ribbon, tying it around their belt - this serves as a literal talisman.
Even in ancient times, doctors refused to treat some diseases that were difficult to cope with. Then, people resorted to prayer, which not only relieved pain, but also saved them from the most terrible diseases.
If everything goes wrong, then prayer can attract good luck. True, you cannot abuse the text. You should read the prayer only if you really need luck.
It will be good if the believer learns the text by heart. Psalm 90 is important to understand, to feel the whole meaning of strong prayer.

A translation of Psalm 90 was recently produced into modern Russian. The text is accessible to a believer now, although previously it was impossible to read it.
Some literally had a prayer sewn into their belts so that it would always be with the person.
Psalm 90 - in what cases is a protective prayer read?
The fact that Psalm 90 is used during the ritual of exorcism, when expelling a demon that has possessed a person, testifies to the power of prayer. Not every clergyman can perform this ritual. The reprimand is carried out only by an initiate who has such abilities. The Gift of God, multiplied by the power of faith and perseverance, helps the priest enter into confrontation with demons.
Only in the mouth of such a person will Psalm 90 become a powerful weapon against infernal forces. The ceremony can only be performed with the permission of the highest church hierarchs.
“The Song of Praise of David” is a canonical text that is part of church rites and services in different religions. Among the Jews it is part of the evening prayers; part of the Saturday prayer complex. Sounds 7 times during a funeral service. In the ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church: at the evening service; on the 1st Sunday during Lent. For Eastern Christians and the Orthodox Church since ancient times, Psalm 90 has been part of the daily service (book of hours). They read it at the funeral service, during the memorial service (prayer complex for the repose).

How to use “Living in Help...”
The most frequently used and beloved psalms are 50 (repentant) and 90 (praiseful and protecting from all troubles). The latter is included in the 6 o'clock reading and is mentioned at funerals and memorial services. Orthodox Christians have long been convinced that “Alive in Help” helps in the most dangerous situations. It is known: in war there are no unbelievers, for death is behind one’s back, therefore the text of the prayer:
- or learned by heart;
- or sewn into a tunic;
- or carried with them and read regularly, asking for protection from God.
And they received it. There are many stories when, according to prayer, they were freed from the clutches of a “bony old woman.” Often people wore a ribbon (belt) with the text of Song 90, believing that they had protection (the demon would not come close) as from the cross of the Lord (especially when wearing a cross was forbidden).
The reading of this psalm is necessarily included in the Rule (consisting of 3-4 prayers), read in the most difficult situations, when all hope is placed on God. For example, in any difficulties, the following prayers are constantly said until the situation improves :
- Our Father;
- Psalm 90;
- Psalm 50/26;
- May God rise again;
- Most honest Cherub.
Note: Psalm 50/26 is read when mortal danger threatens. For example, a populated area is being bombed, the enemy is approaching housing, for a person who is in a hot spot. Or for those who are in prison, in a foreign land (captivity), so that they are not mocked or mocked by cruel people.

They flow like a song: they themselves are born and restored in the mind. I say this from my own experience: the modern translation is kind of clumsy. Traditional - it just asks from the tongue, and when necessary, can be easily read from memory.
How does miracle prayer help?
A person who reads the words of the powerful prayer Living Help and believes in God receives protection from Him. Based on numerous reviews of people who have experienced the power of prayer words, we can confidently say that prayer can work miracles.
The powerful prayer Living Help is said for oneself; it can be read for a loved one in need of help. For prayer to help, it is important to understand the meaning of each word read.
You can turn to God for help in moments of despair, when faith in the Almighty weakens, and temptations overcome you. The sacred text will relieve you of uncertainty, protect you from negative thoughts, protect you from the envy of your enemies and the malice of your enemies.
How to read a prayer correctly
The main thing is the correct pronunciation of each word; there is no need to rush here. The intonation should be calm, and the voice should not be irritated and even. You can sit on your knees if the text is read in the presence of a sick person.
In this case, it will be good if the person reading puts his hands on the place that hurts while reading.
To make the effect of prayer as powerful and strong as possible, you can take the Holy image of Jesus Christ in your hands. Another important rule is to say the prayer three times. After reading Living Help for the first time, you need to take a short pause, cross yourself three times and begin the second repetition.
If you follow this rule, then the effect of prayer to the Lord God will not be long in coming. Also, when reading the sacred text, you should definitely wear a cross on your body - this draws the Lord’s attention to the believer as much as possible. Priests say that you should believe in what a person says, because without faith in prayer nothing will happen. On the other hand, you should not rely only on prayer; it is only a text, the meaning of which cannot be touched.
After reading Psalm 90, you need to think about how to cope with a hopeless situation, scroll through all the possible solutions in your head.
My prayer “Why does help come to those who ask for protection”
“I was in trouble - my beloved brother fell ill. Moreover, no one could give him the correct diagnosis. He had back pain and a severe headache, so much so that he only lay down. We checked everything we could: there are some problems, but they could not lead to such consequences. The body ached, the blood test was almost normal (some indicators were slightly elevated).
Inna, 44 years old, Krasnodar
One day I just got desperate, we went to church (luckily, it’s nearby). We prayed, lit candles and talked with Father. He advised me to start with confession, communion (of course), and also advised me to learn Living Help because it is a strong prayer. He said that it can be downloaded on the website of the Orthodox Church or another resource, downloaded or found in the Psalter.
We did everything (I always accompanied my brother, because I was afraid that he would fall) as the priest recommended. But there was no time to wait long for the result. I read a lot about this prayer and found information about a ribbon that you can put on and wear. We also decided to tie it to him. And she also asked him to turn to God as often as possible, and she herself also read the Psalm. All the relatives began to pray, some people may not believe it, but a miracle happened: my brother felt better. Of course, we continue to visit doctors in search of the cause, only now he is moving on his own, the pallor of his face has gone away.”
What not to do when reading Psalm 90?
There are some principles that are still worth observing, even though prayers are miraculous.
- If you are skeptical about everything, not believing that prayer can show a person the right path, then you should not use it in life.
- If you read prayers over a sick person without his knowledge, the result may be the opposite. Therefore, before praying to the Lord, opening Psalm 90, it is necessary to warn the sick person about this. There must be a place for God in the heart and soul of a believer, only in this case the disease will definitely pass.
- If a person is engaged in black magic, esotericism, practices love spell rituals and much more, then reading the Living Help prayer is strictly prohibited. In this case, it will only be text that does not carry anything in itself.
- It is necessary to discard all negative thoughts when reading Psalm 90. If you think about something extraneous, constantly get confused, and do not delve into the meaning of the written text, then there will be no result.
- While reading the sacred text, it is very important to be baptized several times. It will not be good if a believer forgets this.
- After reading Psalm 90, it is very important to communicate with God, ask him for the best, tell him something, share what is sitting inside. The Lord will always listen and tell you what to do next.
- Living help prayers are a real miracle that you can see with your own eyes. This is a text, after reading which there is grace in the soul. The text can be recited both at home in front of the icons and in church with a candle. Don’t forget that God helps everyone, you just need to turn to Him. Believe in the Lord - this is the best thing Christians have!

How to wear a prayer belt correctly?
Expert opinion
Father Innocent
“This folk tradition, akin to the use of amulets, is not welcomed by the Church, but is not prohibited either. The belt on which the prayer is printed is a strong amulet, which is why believers wear it. It is customary to tie a knot under the left hand. But any clergyman will tell you that the correct thing to do is to read the prayer by heart, and not to wear a church ribbon.”

Soon she will start helping. If you do this in a hurry, then neither the ribbon, nor even the belts with prayer, nor the Prayer Book will provide the desired result.”

All prayer books are important if they are aimed at saving the soul. According to legend, the text of the prayer “Living Help” was written by the prophet Moses. But one of the main versions is that King David may also be the author. The prayer book is used not only in Orthodoxy, but also in Judaism. The prayer “Living Help”, Psalm 90, was translated from Old Church Slavonic into Russian quite recently.

- Verses 1-2. Protection can be found in the Almighty. “He who lives under the roof of the Most High” can always count on the protection of the Lord. Shelter is a place where any traveler will find refuge.
- Verses 3-8. Evil enemies can create any danger, God can provide deliverance from them. Protection can be found in the truth of God. Options for bracelets can be selected and purchased at the church store; they have different designs and, as a rule, have an engraved prayer text. How to wear Live Aid correctly:
- The bracelet serves as a protective amulet against damage and the evil eye, therefore, it is better to wear it, hiding it from prying eyes;
- On which hand to put the amulet on, on which hand to wear the bracelet - everyone can independently choose a convenient option for themselves;
- A bracelet purchased in a Holy Place for yourself can be put on your hand immediately so that the protection begins to work;
- Amulets have enormous protective power; saying the words of prayer before putting on the bracelet for the first time strengthens faith and increases the power of the amulet.
How and where to read
- Reading requires a special mood that allows the prayer word to reach every corner of human consciousness.
- It is important that prayer comes from the depths of the soul. God does not like empty speech. He needs strong faith, a desire for the best.
- Before starting psalm reading, it is necessary to repent of sins. This is the Sacrament of Confession, performed in an Orthodox church.
- If it is not possible to confess (due to weakness or other valid reasons), then you need to remember your sins, repent, and ask Christ for forgiveness for the sinful acts you have committed.
- It is advisable to ask for a blessing to read the Psalm from the priest of the local temple.
- Typically, clergy bless parishioners for 40 days of prayer. At first, it is allowed to read the Psalm from the prayer book, but it must be learned by heart.
- You need to say a prayer in the temple in front of the Face of Christ or at home in front of the iconostasis. The prayer book must be baptized in Orthodoxy and wear a cross on the body - the main symbol of the Orthodox faith.
Important! The main protective prayer is often read to free the mind from bad, sinful thoughts. Therefore, if a person feels that he is ready to break one of the Commandments of God, then it is urgent to read Living in the Help of the Most High.
This is one of the reasons why you need to know the text by heart, because at any moment you may need support from Heaven.
"David's Song of Praise"
David - King of Israel (XI century BC). He ruled long before the appearance of Jesus Christ, so the history of his reign and life refers to the Old Testament. The Lord elevated him to the throne, for which David expressed gratitude until the end of his days. This ruler is distinguished by unprecedented wisdom. He was famous for his strength of faith in the Almighty.
Even before David became king, he was known for his talented harp playing and ability to write poetic texts. The young man continued to praise God as he ascended the throne. His lyrical and at the same time religious works (psalms) were used during divine services twice a day.
At the same time, prayer texts were pronounced to the music.
This is one of the reasons why the authorship of the psalm Living Help is attributed to David. It is believed that the title "David's Song of Praise" is an addition made by the translator, suggesting that the next psalm (after 89, written by Moses) could have come from the hand of David, who lived around the same time.
Interpretation
The main idea running through the entire psalm is the Lord’s protection of all believers from evil, illness, and life’s hardships. God is present with those in need during any trial. Explanation of the meaning of the lines that make up the prayer Alive in the help of the Almighty:
- first two lines: the reader recognizes the greatness of God, his protection, and also trusts in the help of the Lord;
- lines 3 to 7 list the actions of God in various situations from which he can protect the person praying - these are just examples; in fact, the Almighty influences different areas of life;
- Lines 8, 9: the believer will see God’s punishment directed at the wicked who have not repented of their sins;
- Lines 10, 11: The Lord commands the Saints and Angels to protect and protect the one praying throughout his entire journey;
- from line 12 to the end of the psalm: the blessings awaiting the one who asks are listed, but in sorrow he will cry out and be heard.
From the book of Archpriest Valentin Biryukov (Psalm 90)
In 1977, in Samarkand, I witnessed another case of amazing healing after prayers.
One day a mother brought two daughters to me, one of them suffered from seizures.
- Father, perhaps you know how to cure Olya? She was completely tormented by seizures - she was beaten twice a day. — Is your daughter baptized? - I ask. - What about the baptized... - Well, does she wear a cross? Mom hesitated: “Father... How can I tell you... Yes, it’s only been two weeks since they put the cross on her.” I shook my head: what kind of Christian is without a cross? It's like a warrior without a weapon. Completely defenseless. I started talking to them. He advised me to go to confession and take communion, and to read the 90th psalm - “Alive in the help of the Most High” - 40 times every day.
Three days later this woman came with two daughters - Olya and Galya. They confessed, took communion and began to read Psalm 90 40 times daily, as I advised them (my parents taught me this prayer rule). And - a miracle - only two days later the whole family read the 90th Psalm before Olya stopped having seizures. We got rid of a serious illness without any hospitals.
Shocked, my mother came to me and asked how much money was needed “for the work.”
“What are you doing, mommy,” I say, “it wasn’t me who did it, it was the Lord.” You see for yourself: what the doctors could not do, God did as soon as you turned to him with faith and repentance.
Another case of healing is associated with Psalm 90 - from deafness.
An elderly man named Nikolai came to our Ascension Church in Novosibirsk. He began to complain about grief: “Father, I have trouble hearing, for a long time now, since the 4th grade of school.” And now it has become completely unbearable. In addition, both the liver and stomach hurt. - Do you keep fasts? - I ask him. - No, what kind of posts are there! At work, whatever they feed me, that’s what I eat. It was the fifth week of Lent.
“Nicholas,” I tell him, “before Easter, eat only Lenten food and read “Alive in the Help of the Most High” 40 times daily.
After Easter, Nikolai comes in tears, and takes his brother Vladimir with him. - Father, God save you!.. At Easter they sang “Christ is Risen” - but I didn’t hear it. Well, I think the priest said - fast, God will help, but I was deaf and still deaf! As soon as I thought that, it was as if the plugs had popped out of my ears. Immediately, in an instant, I began to hear normally.
This is what fasting means, this is what prayer means. This is what it means to read “Alive in the Help of the Vyshnyago”, without any doubt.
We really need pure, repentant prayer - more food and water. If the water in the glass is cloudy, we won’t drink it. So the Lord wants us to pour out not muddy, but pure prayer from our souls, He expects pure repentance from us... And for this we are now given both time and freedom. There would be zeal.
A lot of sick people come to the temple. I give advice to everyone - to confess your sins, take communion and read the 90th Psalm 40 times every day (“Alive in the help of the Most High”). This prayer is very powerful. My grandfather, father and mother taught me to pray this way. We read this prayer at the front - and there were such miracles with God’s help!
I advise those who are sick to read this prayer as a memory. This prayer has special power to protect us.
My grandfather Roman Vasilyevich loved to pray. I knew many prayers by heart. He often read prayers over the possessed: Psalm 90, “To the King of Heaven” and others. I believed that holy prayers could help anyone, even the sickest person. Probably, due to his childish pure faith, the Lord gave him such a gift that he knew in advance when the demoniac would be brought to him.
They would bring him into the hut, tied hand and foot, and the grandfather would read the prayers, sprinkle him with holy water - and the man who had just been screaming and raving, became calm, and immediately slept for 2 hours after his grandfather’s prayers.
It was grandfather Roman Vasilyevich who taught me how best to read the 90th Psalm - “Alive in the help of the Most High.” 40 times daily, and for sick people, especially those possessed by demons, it is better to read this psalm by heart. I have been convinced many times of the great power of this prayer if prayed with faith and contrition.
Real life story: Nina moved to another department of the store to replace her friend. A friend went on sick leave, so Nina needed to work in the new team for at least a couple of weeks. On the very first day, the girl had a severe headache, and in the evening she felt incredibly exhausted. Although he always works in a similar mode, just in a different department.
- Writing off the malaise as temporary, she took some painkillers and went to bed. The next day everything happened again. And the next one too.
- In the department, the girl worked in tandem with the boss. She met with her before - once a week. And here we had to work side by side every day.
- Nina remembered that as a child, her mother always gave her the handwritten text of Psalm 90. And intuitively she made herself such a talisman again, putting it in her jeans pocket.
- Then strange things began to happen. Arriving at work, Nina felt surprisingly good - there was no headache, no loss of energy or depression. And when the boss, always cheerful and energetic, came in holding her temple and asked for a pill for her head, it was hard for Nina not to believe in the help of higher powers.
- This is a common everyday story. And there are those where such a talisman saved life, well-being, and health in general. Take care of yourself and your loved ones with God's help.

How to correctly understand the text of Psalm 90
He who lives in the help of the Most High, will dwell in the shelter of the Heavenly God, means that the Lord protects all believers who sincerely hope for God’s help and seek protection in Him.
- Says the Lord: Thou art my Protector and my Refuge, my God, and I trust in Him. For He will deliver you from the snare of the trap - no matter what dangers lie in wait for a person, the Lord is able to protect you from them, save a lost soul from the hands of the unclean, like a bird from a net.
- ...and is rebellious in words - from evil tongues and slander.
- ... His cloak will overshadow you, and under His wing you will hope: His truth will surround you with weapons - the Lord protects us from all adversity, covers us with powerful wings, like birds with their chicks.
- Do not be afraid from nightly fear, from an arrow flying during the day, from a thing that passes in the darkness, from a clog, and from a midday demon - it will protect you from night fears, murderers, thieves, deadly diseases that pierce like an arrow, the spirit of laziness.
- Thousands will fall from your country, and darkness will fall at your right hand, but it will not come close to you, otherwise you will look at your eyes, and you will see the reward of sinners. For You, O Lord, are my hope, You have placed the Most High as Your refuge - in a person’s life there are thousands of trials and sorrows, but with faith in God it is possible to overcome them.
- Evil will not come to you, and wound will not approach your body, as His Angel commanded you to keep you in all your ways. They will carry you in their arms, but not when you dash your foot on a stone, step on an asp and a basilisk, and cross a lion and a serpent - no one and nothing will harm you if your faith is unshakable.
- For I have trusted in Me, and I will deliver, and I will cover, and because I have known My name. Praise to the songs of David, not inscribed among the Jews
1 He who lives in the help of the Most High will dwell in the blood of the God of Heaven.
2 Saying of the Lord: Thou art my protector and my refuge, my God, and I trust in Him.
3 For He will deliver you from the snare of the trap, and from the speech of rebellion,
4 His blanket will overshadow you, and under His wing you hope that His truth will surround you as a weapon.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid from the fear of the night, from the arrow that flies in the days,
6 from the things that pass away in the darkness, from the cloak, and the demon of midday.
7 Thousands will fall from Your country, and darkness will be at Your right hand, but it will not come near You,
8 Behold Thy eyes both, and see the reward of sinners.
9 For You, O Lord, are my hope, You have made the Most High Your refuge.
10 No evil will come to You, and no wound will come near Your body,
11 For His angel gave a commandment concerning You, to keep You in all Your ways.
12 They will lift you up in their arms, lest they dash your foot against a stone,
13 Tread on the asp and basilisk, and cross over the lion and serpent.
14 For I have trusted in Me, and I will deliver, and I will cover, because I have known My name.
15 He will call to Me, and I will hear him: I am with him in tribulation, I will wear him out, and I will glorify him,
16 I will fill him with long days, and I will show him My salvation.

Psalter in the life of a Christian
150 psalms, including Psalm 90, are collected in one of the main books of the Old Testament - the Psalter, written by King David and the apostles. It took 800 years to create it. More than 80 psalms belong to the prophet David, and 151 psalms are dedicated to him.
“Psalms” are prayer chants that were performed to the accompaniment of the psaltirion, an ancient musical string instrument. The content of the psalms is reflection on human life, his soul, strengthening the truth of faith.
During the times of Rus', the Psalter began to be used not only for worship. It has become a reference book in every Orthodox family. They turned to the Psalter as a source of knowledge; they used it to learn to read and write and raise children.

Usually it is ordered for 40 days, but it can be for any other period.
Reading rules
Prayer rules actually exist in Orthodoxy; as a rule, deeply religious Christians use them day after day, saying the words of a miraculous prayer in a church in front of an icon with a candle in their hand.
But even without knowing the rules of reading with true faith in the soul, God will hear and help everyone who believes in God’s help from the Most High. The prayer Living Help (Psalm 90) is read on different occasions, you can read the text every day, turn to the Most High for help:

Which is correct: “Psalter” or “Psalter”?
Both variants of the name of the book are acceptable - Psalter (feminine gender) and Psalter (masculine gender). The word “Psalter” is considered obsolete, although it more accurately reflects the phonetic features of Russian speech.

Personal story
“I’ve been reading Psalm 90 for a long time; before I didn’t notice how it affects me, my life, my loved ones and everyone with whom I come in contact. And, to be honest, these actions have already begun to be performed automatically. This is bad and there is no benefit, I know that. But this couldn’t go on forever; God wouldn’t allow it. One day everything changed when I had an accident. Moreover, then I just as quickly read the psalm, I didn’t even understand the meaning - just to say it, to put a tick.
Elena, 39 years old, Vladivostok
Later I was driving a car and I can’t understand how another car drove into me on an almost empty wide road. My first thought was when I opened the gas: “But I didn’t really read the psalm, so here’s the payback.” In fact, I now understand that this is not a punishment, but a simple situation when a person behaves carelessly. Since then, I have always put my soul into the words of prayer that I pronounce.
But you can’t take back what was done, since I had complications after the accident. It took a long time to recover; there were many fractures, including compression of the spine. But I didn’t die then, I didn’t become disabled, my life somehow recovered after that event. The driver of the other car was also injured and almost died. According to the traffic rules, I was not at fault - I did everything right. It was some terrible accident that collided with another car.
When I recovered, I began to go to church more often, and stopped disdainfully reading the psalm and other prayer words. I put my soul into every word. I think it’s better to read the text much less often, but it should be done correctly. Now I teach my children to take a more responsible approach to the ritual of turning to God. I myself only recently realized that he is our support, and not a machine that seems strong and reliable. An accident that will lead to serious consequences can happen to a person at any second. This is why we read Psalm 90 - to ask the Lord for protection if trouble suddenly happens.
I would also like to add that no rituals are needed. I always tried to read 40 times at least sometimes. It is enough to read the psalm 3 times in one approach. The effect will be strong in any case. One clergyman told me about this later. If I had not previously forced myself to reread the psalm many times, then perhaps this automatism would not have developed. I wish everyone good health."
How did prayer words appear?
They say that prayer appeared before the establishment of Christianity in Rus'. The psalm was a gift to humanity from King David. King David of Israel recorded it back in the 11th-10th centuries. BC e., when the country was attacked by pestilence and disease, which raged for 3 days and 3 nights. Over the centuries, the text has undergone some changes and has become more understandable, but the meaning remains the same.
The prayer text “Living Help” can be read for yourself, for loved ones who find themselves in a period of “dark times.” The clergy read it in Old Russian. But for better understanding, the prayer was translated into Russian, in compliance with all church rules.
What does the Psalm help with?
First of all, it helps protect against enemy attacks. The enemy could be a hooligan on the street, an enemy who attacked the country. It can be protection from fears, negative intentions of evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. From evil and terrible forces, as well as the results of their influence
