Name of the day April 5 - Lydia
The name Lydia intertwines Persian secrets, Turkish legends and Roman mysteries.
No one can yet say for sure what ancient language is the source of the origin of the name.
But it is known for certain that the name comes from the name of the place of the same name in Asia Minor. In ancient times, Asia Minor was under the influence of Persia and Ancient Rome. This place was considered prestigious for a long time, and the residents - Lydians - were rich. So we can say about Lydia that her name means “wealth,” but since Asia Minor also experienced difficult times, this will not be entirely accurate, Lydia is rather a mystery.
Lydias born on April 5 live in abundance, sometimes at the expense of rich husbands, sometimes earning money themselves. Money can flow like a river, the main thing is to be able to catch it, but still Lydias are not born businessmen.
VYACHESLAV LIPINSKY
Vyacheslav Lipinsky was born on April 5, 1882 in the Volyn province, into a Polish noble family. He began his studies in Lutsk and continued in Zhitomir and Kyiv. Being a representative of an old Polish family, Vyacheslav Lipinsky absorbed the desire to learn new things every hour and share his experience with others.
While studying at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, he actively studied sciences such as history and agronomy. At the University of Geneva I became seriously interested in sociology. These disciplines will subsequently determine human life principles, expressed in the national revival of the Ukrainian people.
Vyacheslav Lipinsky considered himself to be in the camp of supporters of state independence, heading the Free Ukraine group. While in exile in Poland, he founded the party “Ukrainian Union of Grain Growers-Sovereigns,” published the magazine “Agricultural Ukraine” and promoted the ideas of national identity.
In 1917-1921, Lipinsky was a well-known figure in the independent Ukrainian state, Ambassador of Ukraine to Austria-Hungary. He defended the ideas of a patriarchal monarchy and the consent of different social classes for the sake of national unity. The theory of Ukrainian hetman nationalism is his brainchild.
According to Lipinsky, this is a form of government that is distinguished by a balance between power and freedom, between the forces of conservatism and progress. The basis of such a structure should be a legal, “limited by law and limited by law” constitutional monarchy. The head of the state should be a monarch - a hetman, whose power is inherited and is legitimate.
The monarchist died on June 14, 1931, in exile.

NIKOLAY TRUBLAINI
Nikolai Trublaini was born on April 25, 1907 in the village of Olshanka, Vinnitsa region, in the family of a rural teacher and lumberjack. The boy who was destined to live a short but bright life, Nikolai Petrovich Trublaevsky, never received an education. While studying in the fifth grade, Nikolai decides to go to the front with the Red Army soldiers.
But something bad happens to him - at night he falls out of the carriage and injures both legs. Local residents pick up the guy and help him. After recovery, the little fugitive returns home. He really likes to read books. At the club, the teenager organizes a reading room and actively participates in amateur artistic activities.
When he turns sixteen, he is elected to the village council. Nikolai happily describes rural life, local events, and collects folklore. In 1925, the editors of the newspaper “Red Path” gave him a start in life, sending him to study at the All-Ukrainian journalism courses in Kharkov. After the courses, Nikolai remains in Kharkov, where he works as a correspondent for the local newspaper Izvestia.
In the winter of 1927, a young journalist, who by that time had already slightly changed his last name and was published as Trublaini, and his friend from the Izvestia newspaper, set off on a real trip to the Far East. The writer publishes his impressions of the harsh northern life under the pseudonym Gnat Zaviryukha.
The year 1930 provides the young writer with the opportunity to visit Wrangel Island in the very heart of the Arctic. It is here that his wonderful works are born: “To the Arctic through the Tropics”, “Man to the Rescue”, “F. Litke "winner of the ice." Then the great novel “Lakhtak” was published. This work introduces readers to the difficult trials of the people of the North.
Even today’s youth enjoy reading the adventure works “The Schooner Columbus,” “The Travelers,” and “The Deep Path.” This is not Gaidar; there is enough Soviet ideology in the Ukrainian’s books, but it is not so deliberate and skillfully hidden by bright adventures.
In the fall of 1941, Nikolai Trublaini was mortally wounded near the village of Kozolugovka. He was buried in the Lugansk region near Rovenki. The writer was only 34 years old. A lane, street and passage in the city of Khmelnytsky bear his name. His works are still read by boys and girls in different parts of Ukraine, because it was for them that he wrote them.
