How to remove a family curse on Parastas before a church holiday

Praying the Family, cleansing the Family, cleansing through prayer - many esoteric neophytes are familiar with these concepts first-hand. After all, sometimes they don’t think about the consequences of their actions if they suddenly want to “save” their ancestors and pray them away from their sins. But we should not forget that begging for the Family and ancestors does not remain without consequences. How can prayer do harm? Continuation of yesterday's post Cleansing the clan, its consequences and impact on life. Main text from here, my comments in italics.

Begging for the Family and Ancestors

Articles on family cleansing often refer to the fact that such practices of begging ancestors have existed for centuries. Yes, they do exist. But again, there are subtleties.

The church, clergy, and church elders taught us to pray for our ancestors. But they taught humility first and foremost, and then prayer. It’s not me, I’m so strong and smart, I’ll clean everyone up. This is not my responsibility and none of my business. I trust in God, and in sincere faith I ask him to forgive the sins of my ancestors. God cleansed the race, not man.

From time immemorial, in a variety of cultures and peoples, there have been ways to help both your soul and the souls of your ancestors. In Rus', for example, in the old days, people knew very well what to do in this case. A hundred years ago, society was very religious, and the church was an integral part of life. A person simply went to a monastery and spent his whole life there.

And there he really, spending years in prayer, sincerely prayed for his family and his soul. Because he no longer cared about family, health, or worldly happiness. As well as problems with gynecology and relationships with the opposite sex.

“Petition” translated from Greek

This is precisely the meaning of the word, incomprehensible to the neophyte. Parastas is, in essence, a petition to the Almighty on behalf of the departed, proclaimed through the mouth of the Church. The main difference of the especially solemn heartfelt Matins is the priest’s reading of the 17th kathisma of the Psalter (the entire 118th psalm, divided by article). The content of this verse, mistakenly considered “purely funeral”, is a confession of faith, grief over deviations from the Law given by the Creator, a request for mercy and leniency towards human weaknesses. Remembering that “there is no man who will live and not sin,” and the believers present at the service, on their own behalf, together with the choir, repeat the refrains “Savior, save me” and “Blessed are you, Lord.”

Begging for Rod and rituals

All major religious cults have ways of interacting with the dead. In the Orthodox Church there are special memorial days, parental Saturdays. There are rituals and services, such as parastas or requiem. There, it is not the person himself who interacts with the dead, but the church egregor. By turning to the church, a person seems to acknowledge that he is small here, and since he wants to help his ancestors, he does not do it himself, but respectfully asks other, higher authorities for this.

Practices and rituals are only an external form. With us, as usual, they often take the form, ignoring the content. And without it, rituals and practices can cause harm where benefit was expected from them (and in general, we need to move away from repeated ritualism a long time ago).

Rod's begging. Nuances

All ancestral practices should be done only from the state of the youngest in the family. The one who came last. Who was given life, and who can only accept it, with gratitude and respect.

From this position, as a junior member of the clan system, one can only agree with what happened and look at all ancestors with respect for them and their lives and destinies. Not trying to clean anyone up.

You can try, but only with permission!

Energy in a family flows only in one direction. In the same way in which life is transmitted. From past to future, from ancestors to descendants. From adults to children, from big to small. And the basic principle of the clan hierarchy is that younger people should not interfere in the affairs of their elders.

It's also not a fact. Time does not exist, we influence both the future and the past!

If a child begins to engage in the affairs of those older than him, it does not matter whether they are alive or dead, he turns against the flow of ancestral energy. That is, against the flow of life. And thereby blocks this flow.

If a person looks back into the past, into the affairs of his ancestors, then he does not take his place in the family. And he loses his place (the place of the youngest, to whom the ancestral energy flows). He is trying to become equal to those who came before him. He looks into their history, into what does not concern him. And it starts to affect him. Responsibility and consequences for the stories of his ancestors flow to him.

With all due respect, the mere fact of seniority in time means nothing. Just look at some of today's children who came to teach their parents because they could not reach them from the subtle plane. If a person is older, this does not necessarily make him wiser, but in a younger person the soul can be much more experienced, which is why now those souls come who can help, although they often reduce this “help” to banal ritualism. But there is no experience without “mistakes”; everything can be corrected if desired!

I did it myself, and saw from my colleagues, many hundreds of works in which children carried, consciously or not, some kind of burden of their ancestors. In the form of illnesses, misfortunes, problems in life. This does not bring happiness to anyone. You cannot help your ancestors in this way. And you can’t just pray and clean up anyone. The solution is always to leave to the ancestors what is theirs. Including responsibility for their actions and lives.

Seniors can take responsibility for younger ones, but younger ones can never take responsibility for older ones. A grandmother can pray for her granddaughter, but a granddaughter cannot pray for her grandmother.

Again a template.
Anyone can pray for anyone, there are no restrictions. However, it should be understood that a memorized prayer is a plugin. We are reading an article on the topic:
Where does the energy of prayers go ? As has been said many times, religion and faith today are not the same thing, and any memorized formula (prayer, meditation, song and even a word), especially if it is part of the structure of an egregor, can be redirected in a completely different direction than stated. Of course, it cannot be said that in ALL cases the energy of prayer is simply devoured; it can actually help a true believer, but this help can often cost much more than expected.

How to beg for your family?

Parastas. This is what our Slavic ancestors called the technique of prayerful proofreading of ancestral curses. People have always prayed for themselves and their ancestors, connecting with higher energies, trying to improve their destiny.

How to beg your family

It is necessary to compile a list of relatives, members of your direct family, taking into account everyone from the 1st to the 7th generation. You are the 1st generation, your father and mother are the 2nd generation, your grandparents are the 3rd generation, your great-grandparents are the 4th, and so on.

Write down those whose names you know. The name is unknown - just mark the box on the family tree (it is convenient to mark the men and women of the family with different colors).

Having compiled a family tree - a list of all your ancestors, begin to read prayers, 3 prayers in a row for each member of the family you included in the list.

These prayers must be read for each member of the clan. You need to start with yourself. Then - for the mother, then - for the father. For the maternal grandmother and grandfather, then for the paternal grandmother and grandfather. When working with the fourth generation, start reading for your great-grandmother and great-grandfather - your grandmother's parents, then - for your great-grandmother and great-grandfather - your grandfather's parents.

So, you start reading prayers for yourself. After the third prayer, say the words: “I ask forgiveness from everyone to whom I have intentionally and unintentionally brought harm.” Start working with each of your ancestors with the following words: “I give my vote for my maternal great-grandfather, the servant of God Terenty.” Then you read prayers, and at the end ask forgiveness for your ancestor from all those to whom he brought evil during his lifetime. If the name of your ancestor is unknown, then simply state his status according to your family: for example, “the father of my maternal grandmother” or otherwise - as long as you clearly understand the place of this ancestor in the family.

You can pray at home at any convenient time. You can - in a church, lighting candles or ordering prayers (sorokoust or commemoration for a year about the repose of one of the ancestors whose name is known, or, accordingly, about health for yourself and relatives). The work will take a lot of time and cannot be completed in one approach.

Prayers traditionally used in Parastas

1. Psalm 90

He who lives with the help of the Most High will settle under the roof of the heavenly God. He will say to the Lord: “You are my intercessor and my refuge, my God, I trust in You.” He will deliver you from the snare of fishers and from rebellious words. He will protect you with His shoulders, and you will be safe under His wings. His truth will protect you with a shield. You will not be afraid of the terror of the night, the arrow that flies by day, the plague that walks in the darkness, the plague that devastates at noon. A thousand will fall at your side, and ten thousand to your right, but they will not come close to you. You will only look with your eyes and see the reward for sinners. For you said: “The Lord is my hope.” You have chosen the Most High as your refuge. No evil will come to you, and no plague will come near your dwelling, for He commanded His angels to guard you in all your ways. They will take you in their arms so that you do not stumble with your foot on a stone. You will tread on the asp and the basilisk, and you will trample the lion and the serpent. “Because he trusted in Me, I will deliver him, I will hide him, for he has known My name. I am with him in sorrow: he will call upon Me, and I will hear him, I will deliver him and glorify him, I will satisfy him with long days and show him My salvation.”

2. Psalm 50 (repentance)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy and according to the multitude of Your mercies, cleanse my iniquity. Wash me often from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin, for I am aware of my iniquity, and my sin is always before me. You alone have I sinned and done evil before You, so that You will be righteous in Your judgment and will be victorious when You judge. For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. You loved the truth: You showed me the unknown and secret of Your wisdom. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will become whiter than snow. Bring joy and gladness to my hearing, and humble bones will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and strengthen me with the Sovereign Spirit. I will teach the wicked Your ways, and the wicked will turn to You.

Deliver me from (shedding) blood, O God, God of my salvation! And my tongue will joyfully praise Your righteousness. God! Open my mouth, and they will declare Your praise. If You wanted a sacrifice, I would give it, (but) You do not favor a burnt offering. A sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; God will not despise a contrite and humble heart. Bless Zion, O Lord, according to Your good pleasure, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then you will be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, the wave offering and the burnt offering, then they will lay bulls on Your altar.

3. Creed

I believe in one God the Father, Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, visible to all and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only begotten, who was born of the Father before all ages; Light from Light, true God from true God, born, uncreated, consubstantial with the Father, to Whom all things were. For our sake, man and our salvation came down from heaven and became incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became human. She was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried. And he rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father. And again the coming one will be judged with glory by the living and the dead, His Kingdom will have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Life-Giving Lord, who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who spoke the prophets. Into one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. I hope for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the next century. Amen.

Rod's begging and prayer

Why is prayer needed at all?

The magic of words, structuring and organizing space through linguistic metaprogramming, drawing attention to yourself (energy-information flows) of your multidimensional Self.

Appealing in your own words and from a pure heart is much more powerful than rote formulations (prayers). In this case, it is advisable to turn not to the Lord or Father, but to the Creator, Source, guardians, VY, the universe, the universe, the quantum field, yourself - multidimensional, finally, or any other entity in whose power and trustworthiness you personally believe.

The deep meaning of the initial letter:

Horizontally:

1. I know God, I speak good, which means I exist. 2. Life is abundant on Earth when the universal truth in the community is from God. 3. For all thinking people only He speaks peace. 4. The word, approved from above, calls to confidently adhere to the foundations of the wisdom of goodness to complete the path, to come into harmony for a new beginning. 5. Protecting our land's borders and growth ensures God's protection and our unity. 6. The harmonious development and growth potential of my family and me, as part of it, depends on the Almighty source and the history of the family. 7. The meaning of life is the desire to improve the spirit and soul until they fully mature into a perfect personality in eternity.

Vertically:

1. My life is like a thought clothed in sound, striving for harmony, the smallest particle of mind in the universe. 2. God creates a strong boundary around people and guides them towards self-improvement. 3. Knowledge of the Earth and reflection on it bring peace to the spirit of our family. 4. Speaking the truth is our tradition, our protection, part of our soul. 5. The good of the Universe is that God the Creator confidently and firmly creates the growth of everything, for the complete ripening of the seed. 6. The essence of the existence of human society is in peace, tranquility, balance, harmony, unity from the Supreme Source to the perfect soul. 7. The existing heavenly Source brings into our world both the beginning of everything and the growth of everything, and the experience of people in time.

Diagonal from top to bottom and from left to right: I think a lot and the basis of my creativity is always the Supreme Source.

The concept of prayer, outside of religiosity, is the ability of consciousness to find itself in the seventh chakra, turn upward and try to hear. The stable possibility of this ensures the development of all other chakras. There is no need to constantly stay in the seventh chakra, but only the smooth development of all qualities makes it possible to perceive what the downward flow brings. Why do the departed need our prayers?

The Creator’s love even for a person who has sinned and strayed from the right path is touchingly depicted in the Gospel parable of the Prodigal Son. However, not everyone during their lifetime manages to return to their father’s threshold, to take the path of repentance, that is, to change for the better, to return to the prototype revealed by the God-man - Christ. Death, which has lost its undivided power, but has not lost its strength, overtakes others on the road. Parastas is the opportunity to continue the path to eternal good through the prayers of the living for those who await the day of the last Judgment, without the opportunity for further repentance. Orthodoxy affirms the possibility of changing the afterlife of a person for the better. The main means for this is Proskomedia - a name commemoration at the Liturgy. The sacred bonds of love allow us to dedicate the works of faith that we perform—alms, church and home prayer—to God on behalf of the departed. Parastas for the deceased is one of the most effective means of helping our loved ones.

Rod's begging and its consequences with a clear example

I had a friend, and she had a beloved mother. They lived in perfect harmony, the daughter loved her mother very much, and her mother loved her very much.

Mom had serious health problems. And one day the doctors gave her a bad diagnosis and said that she would soon die. For my daughter this was unthinkable; she could not accept this. She began to pray for her mother, go to churches and healers, travel to monasteries, ask God so that her mother would not die.

Mom recovered from a virtually incurable disease. The doctors could not explain this, but the family understood that her daughter had begged her off. The daughter was happy, her faith did a miracle, and her mother would stay with her.

How did they live on? The mother began to hate her daughter, kicked her out of the house, and stopped communicating with her. My daughter was soon diagnosed with cancer.

I don’t know about her further fate. But I know for sure that if, before starting to beg my mother, she had asked for advice from a sane specialist, she would have been warned about the high probability of such a result.

She violated the basic systemic hierarchies - juniors should not interfere in the affairs of seniors. Mom’s illness was a consequence of her mother’s actions, and her daughter did not allow her to take responsibility for them.

It’s more like this: anyone can intervene only when they have received permission or there has been a direct request (from mothers in this case). Doing good is fraught with the consequences described above. In addition, it is necessary to give the wording: “everything is done with the permission of the highest aspects of all interested parties and for the highest good of all living beings”!

She did not accept the choice of her mother's soul. She did not accept her fate, and did not accept the will of God, who gave this fate. She entered into a fight with them - and of course lost.

But she was lucky in one thing. She saw the result, and she probably no longer had any illusions about begging for Rod and her ancestors. She received feedback from her mother, an ancestor, whose life she took responsibility for, and whom she tried to pray away.

Dead ancestors treat their descendants in the same way when they, in their pride, begin to believe that they have the right to cleanse someone and take care of the affairs of those who are older than them.

There is another important point here. These processes are launched quite simply. The subtle world, the world of the dead, quickly responds to attention to it. Old family stories can rest with their owners for centuries. But if someone touches them, consciously or not, they emerge from oblivion instantly. But you won’t be able to get out of them just like that. Here the entrance is ruble, the exit is two. The price may be ruined health or your entire life.

Scary stories again. Everything can be corrected with desire and persistence, if it does not come purely from the ego and is not the original lesson and choice of the soul!

Yes, what was unfinished by the ancestors wants to be completed somehow, and unclosed ancestral stories appear in the lives of those who live now. But this happens naturally, throughout life. Something emerges, is lived, and a person may not even realize that now he has lived the event for himself, and at the same time as some kind of great-grandmother’s story. The soul knows what is possible now and what is not.

It is quite dangerous to purposefully start digging up the graves of your ancestors. There is a possibility that something will come up for which you may be completely unprepared, and then the consequences will be severe. There may not be enough vital resources to adequately cope with this.

Dead man - from the word “peace”. The dead do not like it when the living approach them, even with good intentions. All the dead want is to be left alone.

Again, every rule has its exceptions. Everywhere has its own stages, each has its own readiness, time and place

And so that the living look at them with reverence and respect, like the younger ones at the elders, without trying to dig up their stories and deal with their sins. Even if it’s with the best intentions.

UPD on the topic of Begging Rod from yesterday’s comments:

Is everyone sure that their ancestors were of exactly the religion from which they are asking to forgive them? This is a conflict of egregors. For him, they will hurt and those who prayed hard will be beaten.

Traditions and rituals of the holiday September 8

The first week of September marked the end of the harvest. At this time, all arable work was completed. Previously, the days from September 1 to September 7 were considered Indian summer - work in the fields is completed, the sun is still warm and you can fully enjoy your vacation. Soon the nights will become colder, the morning frost will begin to grip the ground, and then winter will not be far away.

Therefore, the traditional rite was the “funeral of a fly.” They prepared a “coffin”, usually from carrots. After which they caught any insect (midge - mosquito, fly, wasp), put it in it and buried it. Although this ritual was symbolic, it was considered quite significant.

The most interesting ritual performed on this day was called “Moose Hunting”!

Having agreed in advance, two girls dressed up in special costumes representing moose cows and ran away into the forest. The young hunters ran after them and tried to catch them as quickly as possible. One of the girls found and captured was released. The second was forced to follow to the temple. There they also “scolded” her because she resisted, ran away, and the young hunters had to try very hard to catch her.

On the holiday of Rozhanitsa, men were responsible for performing household duties. And women could pray, and then bring gifts - honey, porridge from the new harvest cereals, pies to Rod and Rozhanitsy.

Women who, for various reasons, did not have children turned to Lada, Mokosh, the goddess of Family and the goddess of Fate with requests for procreation and the birth of children. They, as a rule, set the tables prepared for the festival after all the rituals had been performed. So that anyone who comes can thank and bless the woman for her birth.

After a common meal, all the residents gathered in the field, forming a circle, dancing in circles and singing songs. It was customary to seat an older woman in the center of the circle, holding a loaf of freshly baked oatmeal in her hands. At the end of the holiday, bread was distributed to everyone. After all, it had healing properties.

A fire ritual was also carried out, at which admitted people could charge prepared amulets and talismans.

Purification of family karma

Suddenly you understand that everyone around you is also a Creator, and their choice is inviolable, just as your own is inviolable. And then delight, joy and miracles flow like a river. And if one devotes oneself to this process with even a tenth of the zeal with which people frantically indulge in the rituals of cleansing the family, the effect of transforming life will be stunning.

The matter of cleansing the clan has its own regalia, so those who latently believe that they are “saving” the clan and doing a “great thing” not only for themselves, but also for the past and future, are often caught in them. It is this temptation that breeds ritualism and strife over the subject of “correctness.” But what are these if not new roles? Yes. These are the same theatrical stages only with new scenery and new masks.

At a time when you can already do without them. But a choice is a choice. The question of purifying the race through oneself or transforming oneself through love, transforming the World is everyone’s personal choice.
