Yudi Tadei is an intercessor who always helps in hopeless situations and in very difficult grief. It also helps with melancholy, grief and depression. He is even called the guardian of hopeless circumstances. The prayer before Yudi Tadeya - Devyatnina (this prayer is read for nine days in a row) has helped people for many centuries.
Who is Yuda Tadei
Why is so little known about this apostle, since he personally knew Christ and gave his life for his faith? The fact is that his name was Judas. No, this is not the man who betrayed the Lord! To avoid confusion, Christians began to call their comrade Thaddeus or Levi. There was a period when he was identified with another Judas, who had a blood relationship with the Lord (through the righteous Joseph).
The confusion continued for centuries, but today most researchers agree that the prayers before Thaddeus (this is in Ukrainian transcription) are read specifically to the Apostle Thaddeus. He was a very kind and sympathetic person. And now there is no such trouble in which he will not help a sincere believer - you just need to ask for help.

Before turning to the Martyr Apostle, you should always prepare yourself well:
- You need to fully tune in to prayer;
- During prayer, you cannot think about extraneous things;
- Focus on your own words;

- Believe in him. Faith must be real;

Although little is officially known about the apostle, many legends have been preserved in popular memory. For example, the prayer of Yuda Tadeus saved the king of Edessa from leprosy. He specially came there, laid his hands on the sick person and healing occurred.

Reverence

Life of a Saint
Judas Thaddeus (another pronunciation is Thaddeus, the evangelist Matthew calls him Levvem: “Levbee, called Thaddeus” (Matthew 10:3)) devoted his life to wandering through the territory of the Middle East and the Caucasus, where he helped the poor and strangers. The Armenians revere him as their benefactor - despite the threat to his life, the apostle baptized a local princess, for which he suffered martyrdom on the cross.
How to pray to Saint Thaddeus correctly?
Appeal to the apostle has two forms: simple prayer and nine-day prayer. In the first case, you can use this text:
Saint Thaddeus! You had the happiness of belonging to the family of Christ the Savior, glorious apostle and martyr. You shine with great virtues, faithful deputy of those who glorify you and trust you! You are our guardian and substitute in difficult circumstances. Therefore, I stand before you and pray from the depths of my heart:
Come to my aid with your powerful protection, for you have the grace from God to come quickly with help to those who have already lost all hope of salvation. Look at me kindly!
My life is a life of crosses, and the days of my life are a sea of suffering. The roads of my life are covered with thorns and every minute of it is a witness of tears and sighs. And to increase my misfortune, black thoughts creep into my heart. Anxiety, cowardice, lack of trust, even despair press close to the heart. Providence is closed before my eyes, and faith wavers in my heart. Such thoughts embed me in dark clouds of sadness. Don’t leave me in such a difficult state, but come with help!
I humbly ask you: Look mercifully at me and do not disdain my request. Let my trust not be betrayed! God has given you the grace to come to the aid of those who find themselves in a hopeless situation. Therefore, I also found myself in difficulty, please intercede before Christ the Savior. All my life I will express my gratitude to you and glorify your name and respect you as my special guardian. Text of the Nine Prayer to Saint Jude Thaddeus
Nine Day is a long ritual during which, over the course of nine days, the worshiper turns to his intercessor. It is advisable to pray more than once a day.
With the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in my heart, I turn my prayer to You, Holy Apostle, Great Martyr Judas Thaddeus, who was a faithful disciple and follower of Your Brother and Teacher Jesus Christ, carried his teachings, and gave help to people in great trouble and need.
You suffered martyrdom at the hands of the pagans, but neither in thought, nor in word, nor in deed did you change your Brother and Teacher, and for this You have great and eternal gratitude in human hearts.
So help me, a sinner, to get out of my difficulty, turn away trouble from me, and I will thank You for Your mercy and kindness with a righteous life, I will remember Your name in prayers. May Your glory be forever! Amen.
