At that same moment, the Lord's punishment overtook the murderer: he became blind. Until the morning, until the fishermen found him, he rushed around in the room, trying to find a way out. Hearing human voices, the attacker confessed to the terrible act and asked to be sentenced to death.

The body of the martyr was buried in the monastery tomb, at the behest of the Monk Daniel.
