Every person has many emotions and questions during the day when they want to receive support and help from above. You can turn to God in your own words, but it is not always possible to clearly formulate this appeal yourself.
For this purpose, in the prayer book of an Orthodox Christian there is a section “Prayers for every need.” And of course, there are only polished phrases. These prayers will help you not to ask for what is displeasing to the Lord. They are an example of a Christian approach to a problem.
Short prayers and some long ones are so easy to remember that after the first reading they themselves visit us in the right situation. And the main thing is that they help.
Birthday prayer
Lord God, Ruler of the whole world, visible and invisible. All the days and years of my life depend on Your holy will. I thank You, most merciful Father, that You allowed me to live another year; I know that due to my sins I am unworthy of this mercy, but You show it to me out of Your ineffable love for mankind.
Extend Your mercies to me, a sinner; continue my life in virtue, tranquility, health, peace with all relatives and in harmony with all neighbors.
Give me an abundance of the fruits of the earth and everything that is necessary to satisfy my needs.

You have received many and varied gifts from the Lord, and as a good and faithful servant, you have multiplied all the talents given to you for good: for this reason, you were truly a universal teacher, as every age and every rank learns from you. Behold, you appeared as an image of obedience to the youth, a luminary of chastity to the young, a mentor of hard work to the husband, a teacher of kindness to the old, a teacher of kindness to the monk, a rule of abstinence to those who pray, an inspired leader from God to those who pray, an enlightener of the mind to those seeking wisdom, an inexhaustible source of living words to those who are kind-hearted, to those who do good. - a star of mercy, a wise image of rulers, an inspirer of zeal for truth, an inspirer of boldness, a mentor of truth for the persecuted, a mentor of patience: you were everything to everyone, and you saved everyone. Over all of these you have acquired love, which is a union of perfection, and with that, as if by the power of the Divine, you have united all the gifts in your soul into one, and the reconciling love shared here, in the interpretation of the words of the apostles, you preached to all the faithful. Prayer when you don't know what to do
In cases where it is difficult for a person to choose one of two solutions, he needs to ask God for help. You can read this prayer:

A person’s life is in the hands of the Lord, so it is he who will help us understand and enlighten us in a difficult and hopeless situation. Nowadays, people are moving further and further away from God and the church.
Many people believe that when we are afraid of making a mistake, we need to read large and complex Orthodox prayers, or come to church. Of course, you need to come to church, but not only when you need God’s help.
Going to the temple should be constant, at least once a week.
Every Orthodox Christian should read the morning and evening rules, thereby asking the Lord for blessings for the coming day, so that all decisions are made correctly.
You need to ask God sincerely, with a pure heart. Therefore, you don’t have to read the texts of prayers, but simply talk to our God in your own words. God will hear not only the words, but also the very soul of a person.
