In 1217, a rabbi named Judah Ben Samuel made a series of predictions regarding Jerusalem and the end of the world. First, he declared that the Turks would control the area for eight jubilees. (A Jubilee is a 50-year period that ends with people being forgiven, debts forgiven, and God's mercy). According to the rabbi, 1217 marked the beginning of the Jubilee cycle, as did 1517, when the Turks invaded Jerusalem, 300 years after his prediction. In 1917, eight anniversaries later, the Turks were expelled from Jerusalem on Hanukkah.
Ben Samuel then predicted that the city would become a no man's land on the ninth jubilee, that is, just under British rule when it was considered a corpus separatum (a separate body) and an international territory. The city was then divided between Israel and Jordan in 1948 and returned to Israeli control in 1967, at the end of the Ninth Jubilee.
2017 marks 50 years since Israel regained full control of Jerusalem. This is the last year of the tenth anniversary. According to the rabbi, it is then that the Jews will rule Israel and the end of the world will come.
Is the end of the world a myth or reality?
The end of the world has been told in movies many times already. Humanity continues to fantasize on this topic to this day and most likely will never end. It’s difficult to say why this interests historians, scientists, and ordinary citizens so much. - 2014 – death from space. Clouds of cosmic dust and small bodies were supposed to reach the Earth, which would make life on the planet impossible.
- 2015 new Ukrainian Nostradamus, the end of the world on the day of the spring equinox. The theory was based on collected legends, myths, as well as religious treatises.
- 2016 supposed melting of glaciers, leading to the flooding of the planet.
- 2018 - another apocalypse predicted by Nostradamus was associated with a nuclear disaster.
- 2019 – collision with Nibiru.
- 2020 is the nearest end of the world predicted by Isaac Newton. What exactly it should consist of is not known for certain.
Reasons for the destruction of the planet
The data presented suggests that humanity is happy to grasp at any version of the apocalypse. Accordingly, this gives reason to think that all this is nothing more than a myth or just a fairy tale to titillate the nerves. This definition is also confirmed by the list of potential causes that should have destroyed our planet more than once:
- Rise of the Machines. Those who have watched the famous film “The Terminator” know that someday machines will become so smart that they will capture and destroy humanity.
- Death from the sun is predicted for the very distant future. Someday, thousands of years from now, the Sun will expand in size, become a red giant and destroy the planet.
- The takeover of the planet by aliens is another opinion that has been supported by scientists and famous geniuses for many years. It is said that the Earth can either be captured or destroyed by an alien intelligence.
The Large Hadron Collider
Surely many have heard about this terrible thing, abbreviated as LHC. The principle of operation of the hadron collider is to accelerate charged particles and collide beams of these particles with each other.
The Large Hadron Collider is indeed big. Its length is more than 26 km. “Hadronic” - because it accelerates the nuclei of heavy metal atoms and protons. And the “collider” - because it pushes them in opposite directions.
Some scientists are of the opinion that the Large Hadron Collider is capable of destroying not only our planet, but also affecting other parts of the Universe. According to physicists, the LHC can produce so-called microscopic black holes, which will subsequently grow at rapid speed to unimaginable sizes.
In addition, Stephen Hawking himself expressed his concerns about the work of the LHC. He suggested that microscopic black holes could indeed appear as a result of the hadron collider. But when they are left without particles, they will disappear by themselves. However, the Higgs field can move to a lower energy level and enter an “absolute vacuum”. This will lead to the end of the world.

By the way, Judgment Day is mentioned in many religions; its proximity is determined by certain harbingers. The Torah describes the signs that will inevitably lead to the apocalypse:
- Loss of refuge by pigeons in the Temple Mount. Believers take as this harbinger a video of a snake hunting a dove at the Western Wall.
- Life in the Dead Sea. In October 2021, photos of fish swimming in water appeared online.
- Birth of a red calf. At the end of August, a red lamb was born in Israel.

According to his interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, the process of destruction of humanity will be launched by the red Moon, which will appear in the sky on this day.

And if prophets, especially modern psychics, cause some skepticism among most readers, and the great clairvoyants, say, Nostradamus, Vanga, Casey (and this is understandable) never named the exact dates of the global catastrophe of the Earth, then some real events are seriously alarming in this regard. For example, strange trumpet sounds from the sky heard throughout the earth. What is this?
The situation is also aggravated by famous scientists who, unlike the prophets, always appeal with accurate data. And these data suggest that technological progress, in particular the fantastic improvement of AI, may well lead to the catastrophe that is shown in the films “Terminator” or “The Matrix.”
The approaching global flood due to the melting of flora due to global warming on Earth, the unpredictable consequences of experiments with the human genome, the disappearance of many species of living organisms and especially bees on the planet, which can lead to global famine, are no longer seen as fantasy. Not to mention the fact that the arms race today has gained such momentum that one is amazed: killer robots, genocidal bacteria, space weapons, climate weapons - you can’t count everything. So the question is: when will the world end? – today has gone far beyond the limits of mystical reflections and religious predictions. This is our real life, which increasingly resembles being on a keg of gunpowder: it seems so – it’s about to explode...

Before comics and movies, parallel universes existed only in a religious sense. Technically, Jews, Christians and Muslims all worshiped the same God. These religions, along with several smaller ones, are known as Abrahamic religions and comfort half of the world's believers. Therefore, if Christianity became a sequel to Judaism, Islam will be an offshoot, a spin-off, in which Jesus appears as a respected prophet, not a messiah. It's like Iron Man showing up in the new Spider-Man movie.
According to a number of Islamic hadiths, the apocalypse will not happen overnight, but gradually. It will begin with the world plunging into a war against Muslims, which, in principle, is already partly happening. In response to this, Madhi, who is awaited, will unite all Muslims and prepare them for the return of the prophet, who many believe may be Jesus. Because the hadith says that the son of Mary will break the cross and kill the pig. The cross will be broken - this, of course, means a break in Christianity, which has followed a path that was not close to Jesus. Killing a pig means restoring rules of Judaism that were abandoned in Christianity, such as the ban on eating pig meat.
Said Nursi studied these hadiths and decided that he had determined the schedule of these events. According to his interpretations, the world will end in earthquakes, fire and the battle of a one-eyed monster who will fight the messiah when Gog and Magog descend to Earth. Gog and Magog appear in the Torah, Koran and Bible, sometimes as humanoid beings, sometimes representing hostile peoples. Whoever they were, Nursi believed that all of this would happen in 2129, so most of us will probably be able to watch all of this from the hellish cauldron, of course.

The end of the world, as an inevitability, was predicted by many seers. When and how will the apocalypse come?
- Vanga's forecast. During her lifetime, the Bulgarian clairvoyant spoke about a gradual decrease in favorable energy for all humanity. Many of her prophecies came true: the collapse of the Soviet Union, the change of power in Russia, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. According to Vanga, closer to 2020-2021 China will become the strongest country. The Chinese authorities will want to gain world domination, which will result in a serious, protracted conflict. Russia will also be involved in the situation. By the end of the year the situation will only get worse. Vanga did not create an exact prediction of how the future would develop.
- Prophecy of Nostradamus. Nostradamus created another negative prophecy in his time. He did not talk about exact dates, but emphasized that strong negative energies will be activated from 2021. The seer also spoke of China as a country guided only by its ambitions. The conflict will begin with the desire to succeed on the world stage. Western countries will be involved in the situation. According to Nostradamus, the end of the world will not come, but real chaos will begin. He will put an end to the old way of life.

Nostradamus
The healer, scientist and astrologer Michel Nostradamus, making forecasts for the first thirty-year period of the second millennium, noted the following:
- In 2021, China will become a leader in world politics;
- From 2021 to 2030, scientists will make a discovery and be able to extract energy using sound manifestations, and this will solve the Earth's energy problems;
- In 2024, people will discover mechanisms for extracting natural resources from the watery part of the world.
St. Matrona Moscow
The prophecies of the blind mother are very vague and inaccurate. One of her latest predictions is too confusing and vague. Matrona did not speak about the date of the death of humanity and living things on the planet; the blessed one predicted only the end of faith in the Lord. However, experts found ambiguity in her sayings, because mother predicted a peaceful war: in the evening the earth would be covered with dead bodies, and in the morning the world would brighten. This seems to hide the death of Christianity, and at the same time the emergence of a deadly infection that will kill a lot of people.
Vanga
The Bulgarian clairvoyant did not predict anything specific for 2020; her prophecies were aimed at the previous period. Like Nostradamus, Wang saw China as a leader in world politics. Vanga did not report the methods and means of the Celestial Empire to seize the “world throne”.
Her prophecies also cannot be classified as accurate and concise. She constructed her sentences allegorically and ambiguously. But, if we assume that the Celestial Empire will come to power through war, then an apocalypse is quite likely.
Australian genius and his miracle device “World One”
The programming genius from Australia, who assembled the technology for forecasts, is also well known among prophets, but it is impossible to say with certainty that he is a seer. “World One” was created as a device that makes a forecast for the future, based on past events and options for their development. The machine predicted a tragedy for the world in 2040, but next year, according to World One, will be a turning point in the movement towards inevitable death. During this period, people will become very crowded on the planet, all natural resources will run out, and the environment will perish. Possible apocalyptic moments include many natural phenomena: flooding, seismological hazards, giant waves, melting glaciers and the resulting flooding of coastal areas, forest fires
If we take into account these point phenomena occurring on Earth, then the apocalypse is, of course, approaching. At least in some parts of the world, harbingers of the end of the world in the form of man-made disasters occur quite regularly

Flood and drought at the same time - is this possible? Climatologists know that our planet is far from a safe oasis. Cosmic processes on a universal scale do not bypass it, as evidenced by volcanic and tectonic activity. The result is rising sea levels and melting Arctic glaciers.
If the salty waters of the world's oceans overflow their banks, freshwater reserves will become unusable, and the area of areas suitable for living and agricultural land will significantly decrease. Coastal regions and lowland landscapes will be the first to be affected. The flooding of economic and cultural centers will lead to migrations, the conquest of new lands, and the total degradation of humanity.
Yellowstone
The leader in the scale of potential activity is the Old Faithful volcano, also known as Yellowstone - in honor of the geyser park of the same name, of which it is the main attraction. The caldera contains a crater that has been dormant for more than 600,000 years, while the volcanic system extends far in depth and breadth. In the mid-2010s, researchers at the German geodetic center GFZ recorded temperature changes and increased tremors of the supervolcano.
Scientists do not deny that the next eruption could happen any day now. The consequences of the giant's explosion will make themselves felt on all continents. A volcanic winter will come: a cataclysm comparable to the Ice Age. Massive emissions of ash into the atmosphere will block access to the sun's rays, and cultivation of crops will have to be forgotten for at least several years. Perhaps this is what Vanga meant when she prophesied a cold and empty Europe?

According to the prophecies of Nostradamus, published in the British edition of the Daily Star, the war will begin in 2021 and will last 27 years. The process will be started by acts of terror in Europe, then spread to other parts of the world. The contradictions are contained directly in the collection of quatrains “Centuries”, published back in 1555. It contains a stanza that the starting point will be an earthquake and volcanic eruption (presumably in Yellowstone). But before that, people will learn to understand the language of animals and will face a plague of bees.
