Qiyamat - Day of the Last Judgment
We need to fix ourselves first. We must try to implement all the commandments of the Almighty. After this achievement, development and prosperity will not be long in coming.
Allah Almighty said about this Day in the Noble Quran:
All rights reserved. ْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَى. فَلاَ يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَنْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَو َاهُ فَتَرْدَى
“Truly, the [Judgment] hour will certainly come, but I want to hide [the time of] its occurrence in order to reward each person according to his deserts. Let not the one who does not believe in it [the coming] and indulges in his passions make you [Musa] forget about the Hour of Judgment, otherwise you will perish” (TaHa, 20/15, 16).
Dear and respected parishioners!
What is qiyamat - the day of judgment and when will it happen? We cannot answer this question. After all, Allah Almighty did not give us information about the time of its occurrence. As mentioned in the above verse, the time of its occurrence is hidden from us.
But the Noble Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) gave us information about how this will happen.
First let's look at what the Qur'an tells us about this:
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا كَذَلِكَ
“On the day when the Hour comes, sinners will swear that they spent only one hour on earth or in their graves. In the same way they were turned away from the truth" (Rum, 30/55).
In this verse, the word “saat” means the Day of Judgment. It is divided into two parts:
1. Lesser Day of Judgment.
2. Great Day of Judgment.
Dear brothers, let's look at them in more detail.
The Lesser Day of Judgment occurs when the soul is separated from the body and continues until the angel Israfil blows the Horn. This means that if a person died, then a small Judgment Day has come for him.
The Great Day of Judgment begins after the angel Israfil blows the Horn for the second time. Angel Israfil will say:
“Hey, rotten bones, decomposed meat, tendons and other body parts, come on, reunite again. Go to your Lord to report."
Let's read the verse that tells us about this:
"Listen! On that day the herald will call nearby (or listen on the day when the herald will call nearby). On that day they will hear the sound truly. This is the Day of Coming Out of the Graves” (Qaf, 50/41, 42).
It is for this reason that when the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) came to the cemetery to visit, he said:
“Peace be with you, O inhabitants of the graves. You left this world before us. And we, by the will of the Almighty, will follow you. You will enter Paradise before us. We will follow you. I ask Allah to forgive our and your sins.” “O Allah, Lord of bodies and bones, grant us Your mercy and give them peace from me.”
One day the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) went to the Baki cemetery. There he saw a fresh grave and asked:
“Whose grave is this?”
He was told that this was the grave of Ummu Mikhjan. Ummu Mikhjan entered history through the golden door. She was cleaning the Prophet's mosque (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). She did her job well. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) asked:
"When did she die"? They told him that it was yesterday. Then the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) indignantly asked:
“Why didn’t they tell me anything? If I had known, I would definitely have come and read her prayer. This prayer would be her intercessor on the Day of Judgment.”
The Prophet, who was sent down as a mercy for all the worlds, the owner of the most beautiful character, becomes angry. When he gets angry, his face turns red and looks like the sun at sunset.
“Why didn’t they tell me anything?” Those who were there responded:
“She died at noon. It was really hot. We were afraid that the body would deteriorate quickly.”
But the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) stood up and went to her grave. There he read a prayer for her so that on the Day of Judgment this prayer would be an intercessor for this woman.
After this, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) shouted to Umma Mikhjan lying in the grave:
“Oh, Ummu Mikhjan. Which of your deeds committed during your lifetime turned out to be the best and most useful?
Do you not say, “How can he who lies in the grave hear”? After all, the person who said this is not an ordinary person. He can know what we do not know, hear what we do not hear, see what we do not see, he is a great Prophet. Peace and great respect to him.
Could the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) get an answer to his question? Certainly. What did the female companion lying in the ground say:
“O Messenger of Allah. I have not seen any action better than cleaning the mosque.”
After this, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) returned to his companions (radi Allahu anhum) and said to them:
“I see with my own eyes that Allah Almighty built a mosque for her in Paradise.”
Dear parishioners! Have you ever heard of mosques being built in Paradise?
In whatever state a person dies, in the same state he will return to life again. You yourself know this very well. Because Allah knows that she loved the mosque, Allah will build for her the mosque that she loved so much.
When the day comes, she will cross the Syrat bridge inside this mosque.
Syrat Bridge? Yes, Syrat Bridge. A bridge that stretches over Hell. On the way to Paradise, people will pass through it. Allah Almighty says in the Noble Quran:
All rights reserved. ْضِيّاً
“Each of you will go in there. This is the final decision of your Lord" (Maryam, 19/71).
As you can see, in this verse the word “Varidukha” is used, which means arriving, and not, for example, “dahylyukha”, which means entering. Otherwise, (according to the rules of the Arabic language) this would mean that we would all go in there and burn there.
InshaAllah, that person will cross this bridge like lightning. Someone will cross this bridge, catching on the hooks of Hell along the way. May Allah Almighty protect us from falling into these hooks and falling down.
Dear brothers!
Let us now read the continuation of this verse:
“This is the final decision of your Lord” (Maryam, 19/71).
The next verse says:
“Then We will save the God-fearing, and We will leave the wrongdoers there on their knees” (Maryam, 19/72).
When Muslims cross the Syrat bridge, Hell will tell them:
“O believer. Pass quickly, because your light extinguishes my flame.”
Dear and dear brothers!
Yes, there is a small and a large Judgment Day. Only Allah Almighty knows when they will come.
Lesser Day of Judgment: begins after we have died. People sleep and really wake up when they die. When they wake up like this, they will start to feel very sorry. But this will not bring them any benefit.
Today we will offer you medicine from the pharmacy of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). This medicine is not for colds, not for blood pressure and not for diabetes. This is the cure for rusty hearts, it makes them glow.
The love of this world has confused our hearts. People who understand that they are slaves can find a solution to their problems only in the pharmacy of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
If people truly pitied each other, then there would be neither barefoot nor hungry people on earth. Just as the sun removes the darkness of the night, the mercy of people would end all human grief.
Of course, if we do not pity each other, then Allah will not pity us.
Look what the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) says about this:
“Whoever is merciful to another, Rahman will be merciful to him. Be merciful to those on earth, and those in heaven will be merciful to you. Whoever does not show mercy will not be merciful to him either.”
Now let us remember the mercy of Umar (radiallahu anhu). There is one very interesting story:
“When one day Umar (radiallahu anhu) was walking through the streets of Medina, he heard a child’s voice. Umar (radiallahu anhu) continued on his way. When he heard this child's cry again, he could not stand it and knocked on the door where the cry came from. When he entered the house, he asked why the child was crying and why the mother could not calm him down. That woman replied:
“Oh, Commander of the Faithful. Until the child stops feeding on mother's milk, he is not given a monthly child allowance. In order to quickly start receiving this benefit, I want to wean my child off drinking my milk early.”
What did the ruler Umar (radiallahu anhu), who was brought up at the University of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), do? The same Umar (radiallahu anhu), who, if they said that all people except one would enter Paradise, was afraid that this one would be him. Who was afraid that if some mule slipped and fell on the banks of the Euphrates River, Allah Almighty would ask him why he did not build a road there for this animal.
The Commander of the Faithful, the Honorable Umar (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) answered that unfamiliar woman:
“Let the child continue to drink your milk. After this, Umar will begin to provide child benefits immediately after birth. Money will be allocated to the trustees daily from the state treasury.”
Narrated Abdurrahman bin Auf (radiallahu anhu), who was with him that evening:
“During the morning prayer, the Honorable Umar cried so much that I could not make out what exactly he was reading.” After prayer he said to himself:
“Oh, Umar. What will you answer if they now ask you: “How many Muslim children died because of you?”
After morning came he said:
“From this day on, benefits for each child will be paid from the Baitul Mala - the Muslim treasury from the moment of his birth.”
This is Umar. This is the state of Umar (radiallahu anhu).
I wonder if we can be like the Honorable Umar (radiallahu anhu) or like other companions? If we follow the laws of the Koran, if we devote ourselves to serving Allah, then why not?
Dear and respected parishioners!
We need to fix ourselves first. We must try to implement all the commandments of the Almighty. After this achievement, development and prosperity will not be long in coming.
“Our Lord! Don't punish us if we forget or make a mistake.
Our Lord! Do not place on us the burden that You placed on our predecessors.
Our Lord! Don't burden us with what we can't do. Be lenient with us! Forgive us and have mercy! You are our Patron.. (Bakara, 2/286).
Oh Allah. The turmoil that was about to happen before the Day of Judgment had already filled the Muslim community. You, O Allah, know this better than us. Save us from this grief and guide everyone on the true path. Protect us from the harm that our external and internal enemies can bring. Amine.

Allah Almighty said:
«They ask you about the Hour: “When will it come?” Why do you need to mention this? Only your Lord knows about this. Verily, you are but a warning warner to those who fear it. The day they see him, it will seem to them that they have spent only an afternoon or a morning in this world. » [79:42-46].
«They ask you about the Hour: “When will it come?” Say: “Indeed, the knowledge of this belongs only to my Lord. No one but Him is able to reveal the time of its occurrence. This knowledge is heavy for heaven and earth. It will come suddenly." They ask you as if you know about it. Say: “Indeed, the knowledge of this belongs to Allah alone, but most people do not know it. » [7:187].
There are many Quranic verses and hadiths regarding the topic of the Day of Judgment. Allah said:
«The Hour has come and the month has split apart» [54:1].
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Between me and Doomsday, it’s like between these two.” And showed his two fingers (Bukhari).
Allah said:
«The reckoning with them has approached the people, but they turn away with disdain” [21:1].
“The command of Allah will come, and do not try to rush it. Glorious is He and above what they associate as partners!” [16:1].
“Those who do not believe in him are in a hurry with him. And believers tremble before him and know that he is the truth. Verily, those who argue about the Hour are in deep error." [42:18].
According to legend, Anas bin Malik (r.a.) once a Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of the Almighty be upon him) and asked: - O Messenger of Allah! When is Judgment Day? To which the Prophet (peace and blessings of the Almighty be upon him) asked a counter question: “What have you prepared for the Day of Judgment?” - Love for Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of the Almighty be upon him) The Messenger of Allah said with admiration: - Truly this is wonderful, for on the Day of Judgment a person will be with the one he loves.
The Day of Judgment and the time of its occurrence is a mystery of Allah Almighty, no one knows this. There are many things that the One Who has all knowledge knows, but five stand out among them:
No one knows when the hour of Judgment will come except Allah. No one knows when, where and how much rain will fall from the sky except Allah. No one knows for sure what happens in the womb of a pregnant woman except the Almighty. No person knows what tomorrow will bring him and what his future awaits, except Allah. No one except Allah Almighty knows on what earth, when and how his life in this world will end.
«Verily, only Allah has knowledge of the Hour, sends down rain and knows what is in the wombs. No man knows what he will gain tomorrow, and no man knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is Knowing, Knowing » [31:34].
When Gabriel came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of the Almighty be upon him) in the guise of a Bedouin and asked him about Islam, iman and ihsan, the Prophet answered his questions. However, when he asked him about the End of the World, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) answered him: “The one who is asked knows about it no more than the one asking [I know no more about it than you].” When Gabriel asked about his signs, the Messenger (peace and blessings of the Almighty be upon him) replied: “The slave will give birth to her mistress; and you will see barefoot, naked and [spiritually] poor shepherds of sheep [formerly such] competing in the construction of tall buildings.”
Huzaifa reported: “Once we talked with the prophet (peace be upon him), and he told about everything that would happen before the Hour, and did not hide anything. Some have learned these signs, others have forgotten. I don’t remember them all, but sometimes they come to mind, just as a person remembers a long-forgotten person when he sees him again” (Abu Dawud, Muslim).

Sunday: Lord's Day
Estimated reading time: less than a minute.
Sunday is usually perceived only as a day of rest, a long-awaited day off after the work week. In this sense, it looks simple - like free time from worries: if you want, go visit, if you want, lie at home on the sofa. In a word, “if you’ve done the job, go for a walk.”
However, the importance of this day should be suggested to us by its Russian name alone. Indeed, in Russian, Sunday is called this way in memory of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. This word is equally significant in the language of the New Testament. In ancient Greek, Sunday is called Ἡ Κ υ ριακ ὴ ἡμέρα ( kuriak ē h ē mera ), and is translated as the Lord's day or Lord's day.
Thus, Sunday for Christians is the most important and responsible day of the week, since it should belong to the Lord God.
The great importance of Sunday and the fact that it is not a holiday of idleness and leisure is spoken of by the Fourth Commandment of the Law of Moses: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy; six days you shall work and do all your work in them, and the seventh day is the Sabbath for the Lord your God; ...for in six days the Lord created heaven and earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and rested on the seventh; Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy” (Exodus 20:8-12).
Sunday is this Saturday in Christianity, that is, the day of Rest, which is sanctified by God. On this day, a Christian should not do any worldly affairs, but, as the commandment says, he must dedicate it to God. You need to give up everyday worries - making money, housework, etc., because “man does not live by bread alone.” After all, all worries and their success ultimately do not depend on our efforts (although, of course, on them too). Sunday is a Divine pause, a remembrance of Eternity. The fourth commandment speaks of the joy of peace, which, by and large, can only be found in God. After all, sooner or later an intelligent person (if he is lucky, however) will come to the bitter wisdom of Ecclesiastes regarding any earthly affairs that end with death: “All this is vanity and vexation of the spirit.”
Therefore, a Christian is called to devote every Sunday to God and God’s works: visiting church, spiritual reading and prayer, as well as works of mercy - visiting the sick, those in prison, etc.
By the way, it is no coincidence that Sunday is called a week in the Church. This is a week, because on this day you are not supposed to deal with everyday affairs, but you should turn to the One who is above ordinary worries and alone is able to justify and sanctify them.
