Life and icon of Saint Diomede, veneration of the martyr and texts of prayers

Life of Saint Diomede

Saint Diomede was born in the same city as Paul, one of the twelve disciples of Christ. This city was called Tarsus and was located on the territory of Cilicia, present-day Turkey. Here Diomede learned to be a doctor and converted to Christianity.

The future martyr did not charge poor people for treatment. At the same time, he often replaced medications with prayerful calls to the name of the Lord and made the sign of the cross over his patients. Holy faith helped Diomede to heal not only the most severe physical illnesses, but also spiritual ailments.

With his healing art and stories about the Savior, Diomede converted people to the faith of Christ. The holy healer, following the example of his compatriot, the Apostle Paul, left his native place, going to different cities, bringing people the teaching of Christ.

This was the period of the reign of the Roman emperor Diocletian, who distinguished himself by his brutal persecution of Christians. The ruler even created a special decree according to which Christians were deprived of all rights. Christian churches were destroyed everywhere, religious literature was destroyed, and Christians were allowed to be tortured. However, they did not have the right to ask for protection in court.

But this did not stop Diomede. He moved from one city to another, healing people, preaching the faith of Christ. So he reached the city of Nicaea, where he continued to engage in missionary and medical activities. Thanks to the saint, many idolaters converted to Christianity. He visited prisons, caring for arrested and convicted Christians, strengthening them for the upcoming torment.

Rumors about the Christian healer and the miracles he performed reached the Emperor Diocletian, who was then in the eastern capital of the Roman Empire - Nicomedia. The ruler ordered Diomede to be seized and the doctor brought to him for trial.

The soldiers sent for the Tara doctor put him in a cart and took him to the pagan court. On the way, the saint asked the guards to stop to pray to the Lord. During prayer, Diomede gave up his ghost, as the Lord decided to deliver the saint from torment.

The soldiers, fearful of the emperor's anger, cut off the martyr's head. They decided to bring it to the ruler as proof that his order had been completed. But after this, the guards instantly went blind.

When Diocletian saw the blind soldiers, he ordered them to return the head to its place, placing it on the body of the martyr. Returning to the place of massacre and following the instructions of the ruler, the warriors regained their sight. After this, the guards who regained their sight began to profess the Christian faith.

Crows flew over the body of the martyr, left on the road. Then one fairly wealthy pious woman named Petronia, who had once been cured by Diomede, bought the saint’s body in order to bury the healer’s remains.

DIOMEDE

[Diomedes; Greek Διομήδης] († late III - early IV century), martyr. (memorial August 16), St. doctor. Genus. in Tarsus of Cilicia in the pious Christ. family. A doctor by profession, he not only treated physical illnesses, but also relieved spiritual ailments by invoking the name of Christ. Having moved from Tarsus to Nicaea in Bithynia, D. healed and converted many people to Christianity. residents of this city, visited the dungeons where Christians were languishing, looked after them and strengthened them in the upcoming martyrdom. Rumor about D. reached the imp. Diocletian (284-305). The ruler ordered the soldiers to seize the doctor and bring him to the city of Nicomedia. On the way, D. asked to stop the cart, got off it to pray, and, kneeling down, surrendered his soul to God. The emperor's servants, finding D. already dead, decided to cut off his head as proof of the fulfillment of the order given to them. At that very moment they went blind. Diocletian, seeing the head brought, ordered it to be taken back and applied to the body of the martyr. When the soldiers fulfilled this command, their sight returned to them again and they believed in Christ.

Two lengthy Lives of D. have been preserved: anonymous (BHG, N 548) and written ca. 1239-1240 mon. Lawrence of Rutien from Calabria (BHG, N 549, 549b), as well as short versions of the Martyrdom of this saint (BHG, N 550 and SynCP. Col. 901). The anonymous Life of D., published by V.V. Latyshev based on the Vatican manuscript (Vatic. gr. 1671), contains additional information compared to the Life written by Mon. Lawrence: a story about a raven, which flew over the body of the martyr and protected it from other birds of prey until a certain rich woman Petronia, healed by D., ransomed and buried with honor the remains of the saint. According to Latyshev, this episode could have been added later by K.-L. by a scribe who noticed that the Life omitted information about the burial and time of death of D. It is interesting that the date of death is indicated according to Roman. calendar (“before the third Ides of August”) with a translation into Greek added later. time reckoning (Aug. 11), and Aug. 16, when after. A celebration began in honor of this saint, which is the day of the martyr’s burial.

Latyshev believes that both lengthy Lives go back to a common unpreserved source and that the addition of the anonymous Lives was associated with the need to pronounce a word of praise on the day of memory of D.

The authenticity of the information contained in the Lives of D. is doubted by some writers. scientists (R. van Doren, T. Bekke).

According to H. G. Beck, mon. Lawrence is not the author of the Life of D., but only a copyist of the manuscript (Ambros. 834), in which it is contained (Beck. Kirche und theol. Literatur. S. 580).

The veneration of D. was widespread in the K-field, already under the emperor. Constantine the Great (306-337) built a temple there in the name of the martyr. The head and other relics of D. were kept in this temple. Around the 1st half. VI century in the same place, not far from the Golden Gate, a monastery dedicated to him arose. According to the Chronicle of the Continuer Theophan, c. Diomede was rebuilt and decorated by Basil I the Macedonian (867-886), since here he received the prediction of his accession to the throne.

2 words of praise have been preserved by D. Niketas David Paphlagon (late 9th - early 10th century) (BHG, N 551) and Maximus Planud (c. 1255 - c. 1305) (BHG, N 552).

Orthodox The Church reveres D. as a healer and calls on his name during the sacrament of the Blessing of Anointing.

In the Martyrology of Bl. Jerome, as well as in the Martyrology of Uzuard, the day of memory of D. is marked on June 9, whereas in Byzantium. The synaxarions on this day mention the martyrs Orestes and Rodon. In the Roman Martyrology, D.'s memory is indicated on August 16.

Iconography

As a rule, D. is depicted as a young martyr with a barely noticeable beard, with short dark hair curly at the ends; dressed in a chiton and himation, usually red, holding a cross in his hands. This type of single image is presented on an enamel medallion (11th century) of the Pala d'Oro (Cathedral of San Marco, Venice) - across the chest, with a cross in the hand. As a rule, D. is depicted in menaine cycles. In miniatures, his image was preserved in Greco-cargo. manuscripts of the 15th century. (the so-called Athos Book of Models) - young, with a short beard, what is unusual is that, like other St. healers (Panteleimon, Cosmas and Damian), D. is depicted in clothes similar to the priestly phelonion (red) and the sacrament (blue), with a narrow strip of orarion, in his hands is not a cross, but the instruments of his service as a healer (not distinguishable) (RNB . OI 58. L. 125). The image of the saint is consistently found in the wall minologies of a number of Balkan churches: in the narthex of the church in Pec (1561, copybook 1667) - a half-figure; in c. St. Nicholas in Pelinov, Montenegro (1717-1718), - full length; under 11 Aug. depicted together with the martyr. Zeno in c. Vmch. George monastery of Staro Nagorichino, Macedonia (1317-1318), - half-figure. In Russian Menaia, despite the preferred image under 16 Aug. The image of the Savior not made by hands, D. is also presented, for example, in the engraved calendar for August by the engraver G. P. Tepchegorsky, 1722 (RSL).

In Greek iconographic original XVIII century, “Erminia” by Dionysius Furnoagrafiot, description of D. is given in the menaion section. “How the suffering of the martyrs is depicted every month of the whole year” under August 16: “... a young man with a pointed beard was beheaded while sleeping” (Part 3. § 22); in Russian tradition, according to the descriptions of iconographic originals of the 18th century, he is “a Russian like Flor (martyr Flor of Illyria - Author), the hair is short on the ears, the bra is small, in three vestments, the top is cinnabar, the middle is cinnabar, the underside is green, in his hand is a cross , in another vessel, boots on his feet” (Filimonov. Iconographic original. P. 121).

Veneration in Orthodoxy

Saint Diomede managed to escape painful torture from his persecutors. But, despite this, he is considered a martyr, since he was not afraid of the upcoming torment.

The veneration of Diomede began to spread in the 4th century during the reign of Emperor Constantine the Great. A temple was erected in Constantinople in the name of the saint, where the head and other relics of the miracle worker were kept.

The first half of the 6th century was marked by the appearance of a monastery dedicated to the martyr. Approximately three centuries later, it was in the Church of Diomede that the future Emperor Basil I of Macedon was prophesied of his accession to the Byzantine throne. In gratitude, the emperor ordered the temple to be rebuilt and decorated.

One of the islands of the Bering Strait is named after the holy doctor, since the day of his memory coincided with the day when the expedition of Vitus Bering discovered this island. There are also churches in the name of the martyr Diomede in Russia. One of them, the construction of which dates back to the 19th century, is located in the village of Pervo, Ryazan region.

The holy doctor is honored by the Orthodox Church on August 29. During the festive liturgy dedicated to the healer, he is spoken of as an invincible passion-bearer who came to the Lord through martyrdom.

ILLEGAL TRAPS IN THE BISHOP DISPUTE

(Photo from the website of the World Council of Churches)

Modern church life, unfortunately, shows us not only examples of high morality and asceticism, but also presents sad lessons of the impoverishment of brotherly love, even to the point of public manifestations of slander, anger, vanity and hypocrisy on the part of those to whom the Lord has entrusted archpastoral service.

It is shameful and painful to bear witness to this, but God is betrayed in silence, whose true disciples are recognized not by their brilliant form and precious awards. “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love one another” (John 13:35). Instead, millions of Orthodox Christians around the world witnessed the full-scale use of the entire arsenal of dirty information technologies to discredit Bishop Diomede.

Consciously or not, this dealt a terrible blow to the Russian Orthodox Church, the tragic consequences of which will manifest themselves in the near future. The unity of the Church of Christ, as well as the unity of Russia, cannot be preserved by tricks, repressions and “silencing” alone. It is a pity that today’s missionaries and cosmopolitans find these measures more in demand than the thirst for Truth, loyalty to patristic traditions and the desire for the world to understand the issues raised by the Bishop on the merits.

Let us recall: at the Epiphany of the Lord in 2007, despairing of getting an answer to the most important questions of spiritual life within the framework of the church hierarchy, the Chukchi bishop publicly demanded that the Church’s position on the following points be clarified to his flock [1].

First

. About the desire of supporters of the heretical teaching of ecumenism to unite all faiths into one religion.

Second

. On the development of spiritual conciliation (neo-Sergianism), subordinating church power to worldly, often atheistic power.

Third

. About tacit consent instead of denouncing the anti-people policies of the existing government, leading to the collapse of the state, demographic crisis, and other negative consequences.

Fourth

. On the justification and blessing of personal identification of citizens and discrimination of believers on the basis of disagreement with the processes of globalization.

Fifth

. On the approval of democracy, contrary to church canons and in violation of the conciliar oath of 1613.

Sixth

. On participation in interreligious summits under the auspices of the G8 leaders, which is a recognition of their power.

Seventh

. About the signing of the final document at the Moscow summit of religious leaders, in which faith in one “Almighty” was attested.

Eighth

. About disagreement with the official statement about the unity of moral values among Orthodoxy, Judaism, Islam and Catholicism.

Ninth

. About concern and disagreement with the violation of the principle of conciliarity in connection with the long absence of convening the Local Council and transferring its most important functions to the bishops' council.

In response to these theses, which required serious public discussion, a crude information war was launched against the ruler; its participants did not disdain anything, even methods of conducting public polemics that are prohibited in any cultural society. In order not to be unfounded, let me reproduce the most striking examples of tricks used to discredit the disgraced ruler and his supporters. These techniques are described in sufficient detail in the work of Professor S.I. Povarnin “The Art of Argument”, quotes from which are in italics in the text [2].

1.The game of “beautiful names” and “malicious nicknames”

Accepting a name often makes all the difference. After all, having accepted it, we thereby accepted that the object designated by it also has the corresponding properties. In order for us to take the name on faith, he uses, in addition to our usual inclination towards this, various ordinary tricks, for example, suggestion.

He speaks in a peremptory tone, uses the name as something self-evident, undoubtedly correct. Distracts attention from checking the hidden exculpatory premise, etc., etc. There are names that are especially suitable for such a trick: these are those that have a connotation of blame or praise; they are used as “malicious nicknames” or “beautiful words”, “beautiful names”. Often these are “hypnotic words” in the full sense. They act on a person with little development, like a chalk line on a chicken.

They say that if you bend a chicken's head to the floor and draw a straight line from its beak with chalk, the chicken will remain motionless in this position for some time, contemplating only this line. Likewise, a person hypnotized by a corresponding word loses the ability to judge whether this word is applied correctly or not. Especially if they strongly emphasize such a word and wax eloquent about it.

When reading the statement itself, we usually do not delve into it with due attention; therefore, the “malicious nickname” passes “by itself”, without criticism, especially if it is given in “our newspaper”, which we trust. Sometimes these “malicious nicknames” frighten or, as people say, “scare” timid people. But sometimes a malicious nickname turns into a terrible weapon of demagoguery. It is known from history that at some point one has to shout to the crowd: “this is a provocateur”, “poisoner”, “revolutionary”, etc., and the fate of a person will be decided.

2."Illegal use of synonyms"

It is not the same thing to say “Jealousy of faith” and “fanaticism”. If I expressed the thesis: “zeal in faith is the duty of every religious person,” and my opponent changed it: “Now you claim that every religious person must be a fanatic,” then he distorted my thesis. He introduced into it a shade favorable to refutation. I included signs that make the thesis indefensible.

Of course, to say that fanaticism is the duty of every Christian is absurd. In general, this trick is probably the most commonly used. People resort to it as if instinctively, trying to designate a concept with a name that is most favorable for themselves and most unfavorable for the enemy. And the coarser the mind, the coarser and more primitive such sophisms come out.

3."The Artists' Trick"

If the dispute is very important, in front of listeners, responsible, then, they say, others even resort to the “artists’ trick.” Some artists, for example, singers, in order to “undercut” their opponent, before his performance tell him some extremely unpleasant news, upset him in some way or piss him off with an insult, etc., etc., in in the expectation that after this he will not control himself and sing poorly. According to rumors, some debaters do not hesitate to do this from time to time before a responsible dispute. Personally, I have never observed this vile trick, but it is undoubtedly possible. You need to be on guard against it too.

  • The vicar of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra calls on the Chukotka bishop to stop sowing confusion among the Orthodox people
  • “Defiration also means the death of the soul,” Metropolitan Kirill warned Bishop Diomede about his afterlife fate

4.
“Diversion”
During an argument, completely leaving aside the previous task of the argument, an unsuccessful thesis or argument and moving on to others is called “doing sabotage.” Sabotage is done in various ways. The crudest way is for the arguer to directly, “immediately” abandon an argument or thesis and grab onto another. This happens extremely often.

5."Ladies' Argument"

It is also popular among men, and how; but in women’s mouths, in general, for some reason it receives a special shine and relief. The gist of it is this. On many issues it is possible, not just one, not two, but several, many solutions, several assumptions, etc. are conceivable. Some of them are opposite to each other.

According to common sense and the requirements of logic, all of them must be taken into account. But the sophist does the opposite. Wanting, for example, to defend his opinion, he chooses the most extreme and most absurd opposite of other conceivable solutions to the issue and contrasts it with his opinion. At the same time, he invites us to make a choice: either recognize this absurdity, or accept his thought. The sharper the contrast between the absurdity and the opinion it defends, the better. All other possible solutions are deliberately suppressed

  • Religious fanatics take Christianity to Sodom and Gomorrah

6."Readings in the Hearts"

This trick consists in the fact that the sophist does not so much analyze your words as the secret motives that made you express them.
Sometimes even this is all he does. This trick is very common and is generally used to “close the mouth” of the enemy. Thus, for a skilled lover of “reading in hearts,” it is possible, if desired, to find some kind of “sedition,” etc., everywhere, both in some of the words of the enemy, and sometimes in his silence.

  • Bishop Mark of Yegoryevsk: There are only a few conscious supporters of Bishop Diomede
  • Moscow Patriarchate: Bishop Diomede is a puppet in the wrong hands

7."Insinuation"

A person seeks to undermine listeners or readers’ trust in his opponent, and, consequently, in his arguments, and for this purpose he uses insidious irresponsible hints. Unfortunately, this trick is very popular, and even other very respectable figures do not disdain it.

8.
“Double-entry accounting”
Almost all people are prone to more or less duality of assessments: one measure for ourselves and for what is beneficial or pleasant to us, the other for strangers, especially people unpleasant to us, and for what is harmful and not to my liking. For example, when a very good person scolds another for gossiping about him - and he himself immediately passes on new gossip about this to the other. Not out of revenge, no! He simply does not realize that this is gossip. Gossip - when others talk; and when we say the same thing, it is a “transmission through friendship” of an interesting fact from the lives of acquaintances.

  • Deacon Andrey Kuraev: Apostolic Canon 74 has nothing to do with Bishop Diomede
  • The Holy Synod recognized two newspapers published with the blessing of Bishop Diomede of Chukotka as harmful to the Church

9.“Substitution of the thesis, its strengthening or softening”

Unscrupulous opponents often resort to “distortion” of the thesis. The thesis was given, for example, this: “Our ministers are mediocre.” The enemy “distorts” it, strengthening it: “you claim that our ministers are idiots.” Or I argue that “the death penalty is necessary under certain circumstances and conditions.”

The opponent refutes me in front of the audience as if I argued that the death penalty is generally necessary and calls me “an ardent defender of the death penalty,” while throwing thunder of indignation and indignation at me. This trick is most often encountered in refutations and is most successful with mentally underdeveloped listeners. An underdeveloped mind tends to understand everything “simple”; he doesn’t know how to think about them, he doesn’t really like them, sometimes he doesn’t tolerate them and doesn’t understand them. They are too difficult for him.

10.
“Translation of the question from the point of view of benefit or harm”
It is necessary to prove that the thought is true or false; prove that it is good for us or harmful. It is necessary to prove that the action is moral or immoral; prove that it is beneficial or unprofitable for us, etc. For example, it is necessary to prove that “God exists”; prove that faith in His existence brings comfort and happiness.

Often there are no more convincing arguments for the average person than those conclusions that affect his vital interests. Even the simplest arguments of a purely “pocket nature” ( argumenta ad bursam ) have a magical effect. Every “fraudster of the word” knows this very well. Therefore, this trick is the favorite tool of such scammers.

10.
“False generalization”
A person gives several examples that such and such persons or such objects possess a certain characteristic, etc., and without further reasoning concludes that all such persons and objects possess this characteristic. It’s like how Gogol’s hero saw that all the Orthodox Christians he met ate dumplings, and from this he concluded that all Orthodox Christians generally eat dumplings, and whoever does not eat them is not Orthodox.

  • No fofudya. Russian Church after Diomede

11.
“Argument to the policeman”
First, a person argues honor with honor, argues over whether the thesis is true or false. But the dispute is not playing out in his favor - and he turns to the powers that be, pointing out the danger of the thesis for the state or society, etc. And then some “power” comes and clamps down on our enemy, which is what we needed to prove. The dispute stopped and “victory” was theirs. But the “call to the policeman” is intended only to end the dispute.

Many are not content with this, but use similar means to “convince” the enemy, i.e. or rather, to force him, at least in words, to agree with us. Then such arguments are called “stick arguments.” Of course, even in our time “stick arguments” are still used in the literal sense of the word. Violence of all kinds very often “convinces” many and settles disputes, at least for a time.

This is, in essence, robbery in a dispute. Even, perhaps, in one respect, even worse. The robber openly offers a dilemma: “trick or treat.” The sophist presents in a hidden way and with an innocent appearance the dilemma of “accept the argument or suffer trouble”; "don't mind or get hurt."

The above selection of materials is the result of an analysis of only a small number of materials published by online information resources. In reality there are many more of them, but this will not change the overall sad impression. So is it worth going through all this information garbage?

Let me answer with another quote from Sergei Innokentyevich Povarnin: “... such tricks as stick arguments, arguments to the “policeman,” disrupting an argument, insinuation, etc., etc. must be exposed wherever they can be proven. Their essence is of such a nature that proving their existence is often not difficult. True, such revelations influence the enemy sophist relatively rarely: for the most part, the person who consciously resorts to them has a rather thick skin and you will not get through his “revelations”; he will continue his work.

But there are people who use such tricks due to lack of consciousness, “they don’t know what they are doing.” Such people may be “ashamed” when they see with their own eyes a vivid image of the essence of their trick. Such revelations are useful for listeners and readers. Finally, generally speaking, remaining silent and enduring such methods without protest where they can be proven is even an anti-social act. This means encouraging them in the future. Protest in these cases is our duty, even if one cannot expect a tangible result from it.”

What do they ask the saint for?

Since during his life the holy martyr was a healer, even after his death they ask him for healing from many diseases. Diomede especially helps those suffering from skin diseases. The martyr provides assistance not only to the sick, but also to doctors. Surgeons ask the holy healer for support before performing complex surgical operations.

People turn to God’s saint for help when the following natural disasters occur:

  • earthquakes;
  • floods;
  • fires.

Through prayers to Saint Diomede, people get rid of addictions, gain peace of mind, and strengthen in faith.

Our work standards

Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights obliges us to promptly provide the consumer with the necessary and reliable information about goods (works, services), ensuring the possibility of their correct choice. We are also obliged to bring to your attention the rules and conditions for the effective and safe use of medical services.

Dental treatment in our clinic is carried out with the aim of preserving and maintaining the health of the maxillofacial area to the highest degree for the patient.

Diagnosis and treatment planning has two fundamental goals:

  1. Identify factors that in one way or another contribute to the deterioration of oral health.
  2. Determine the best way to eliminate each aggravating factor.

To provide quality treatment, the dental clinic performs the mandatory (or recommended) diagnostic methods necessary to make a correct diagnosis and provide quality treatment, in accordance with current legislation. Such diagnostic methods (except for examination) are:

  • Infection control. The infection control procedure is carried out to identify infectious dental plaque, the presence of which is a contraindication for the use of many dental technologies (for example, tooth restoration with light-curing filling material), and casts doubt on the quality of treatment as a whole. Also, the infection control procedure makes it possible to identify fillings in the oral cavity with a violation of the marginal seal. Violation of the marginal seal of the filling is the basis for its replacement, since in this case the tooth is also a source of infection. This procedure allows you to maximally visualize the situation in the oral cavity not only for your doctor, but also for you (at your request). In our clinic, the infection control procedure is carried out using certified products that are completely safe for your health.
  • X-ray examination. The purpose of an X-ray examination is to correctly diagnose and determine the scope (possibility) and cost of treatment. Our clinic also conducts mandatory X-ray examinations during the treatment phase, as well as photographs that monitor the results of the treatment.

We monitor your x-ray safety during dental treatment.

The decree of the chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation states that during X-ray examinations during the year (including during medical examinations) the effective dose of 1000 microsieverts (µSv) should not be exceeded.

If you have already had an x-ray examination with doctors this year, be sure to inform the doctor about this at your appointment for a safe diagnosis.

Images without which it is difficult or impossible to carry out high-quality dental treatment:

  • Photographs of teeth with extensive caries (tooth decay of more than 40 percent) to determine the volume (possibility) and cost of dental treatment.
  • Images of teeth with fillings covering more than 40 percent of the tooth surface to diagnose the condition of the tooth under the filling and the surrounding tissues (as prescribed by a doctor).
  • Photographs of teeth with previous root canal treatment.
  • Teeth under artificial crowns in the presence of complaints and discomfort.
  • Teeth under artificial crowns in case of violation of the marginal seal in the gum area.
  • Photographs of teeth during preparation for a pin construction.
  • Photographs of teeth during fixation of the pin structure.
  • Photographs of teeth requiring root canal treatment prior to treatment.
  • Images of teeth requiring root canal treatment after filling them.
  • Control photographs of teeth, one and two years after root canal treatment.
  • Orthopantomogram for dental prosthetics.
  • Orthopantomogram and teleradiography during orthodontic treatment.
  • Orthopantomogram for the diagnosis of periodontal diseases.
  • Three-dimensional dental computed tomography for the diagnosis of maxillary sinuses, temporomandibular joints, teeth with complex anatomy of root canals, when planning implantation, tooth-preserving and osteoplastic operations.

When carrying out dental prosthetics or orthodontic treatment, it is necessary to take impressions and make diagnostic models of the jaws, as well as wax modeling of the future orthopedic structure (if necessary).

A comprehensive x-ray examination in dental practice includes the following diagnostic procedures:

  • Panoramic radiography of the entire dentition (orthopantomogram) or dental computed tomography as prescribed by a doctor – 48 µSv.
  • Intraoral targeted radiography of teeth and near root tissues (digital on a radiovisiograph) – 2-5 µSv per image.
  • Three-dimensional dental computed tomography (according to clinical indications and as prescribed by a dentist for differential diagnosis): dentition, maxillary sinuses, temporomandibular joints – 42-47 µSv.
  • Control orthopantomography in dynamics after therapeutic, surgical, orthopedic treatment as prescribed by a dentist (at least once every two years) - 48 μSv. Total – 153 μSv (1000 μSv is allowed per year).

An ancient medical wisdom says: “You cannot treat an unrecognized disease!”

The results of all examinations will be entered into your individual outpatient card, communicated to you personally orally, and, if necessary, will be provided to you at your request. At the same time, the principles of maintaining medical confidentiality will be strictly observed.

If you refuse to carry out the necessary diagnostic procedures, we ask you to record in your own hand the fact of your refusal to conduct the examination, as well as the fact that you have been warned about all adverse consequences. In cases where high-quality treatment is impossible without this diagnostic examination, which is mandatory in accordance with the protocols of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the clinic has the right to refuse to provide you with low-quality dental care - one of the basic principles of our organization.

Our clinic, first of all, cares about the health of its patients! If suddenly you have any doubts that your dentist in our clinic did not recommend all the diagnostic tests necessary in your case, immediately notify us by phone (342) 283-43-55 or.

Icon of the martyr Diomede

Saint Diomede is depicted in icons as a young man with dark, curly hair and an equally dark, small beard.

You can recognize the image of a martyr by the following signs:

  • the undershirt is a chiton, red;
  • a blue cloak is thrown over the chiton, secured with a fabula (clasp) on the right shoulder;
  • in his hands the saint holds the healer’s tools: with his right hand – a box of medicines, with his left – a medicine stick.

There are both half-length and full-length images of the martyr.

The lines of piety in the cave of the rzhⷭ҇tvo saved the city. Then the image, the present, the active, the whole universe lifts up to sing to you: where do you sing, and extol him in all things? For centuries.

Your honest feet, passion-bearing one, towards the paths you are heading: now the joyful one walks in the land of the living, the prime minister in the kingdom of God cabbage soup At the same time, we have come together and honor, praising Christ forever.

We will weave with you a crown of imperishability, firm feats and victories over the most ancient, most praiseworthy, and suffering His face is where you sing, crying out, and exalt him forever.

What do you do with your help, with your help, with your help, with your strength, with your help, with your help, with your help, with your help, with your help, with your help, with your help Let us sing, howl: sing your deeds, and exalt him forever.

Bgorodichen:

Many sinners bow down to your unyielding protection, we come to you: firmly established by your servants, strengthened by passion, and strengthened by your passion And the gladness and the language of ours, two, and deliver your flock, as it is entrusted to you.

Song ѳ҃.

Irmos:

Let all earthly beings leap, enlighten us, and let the bodiless nature, which honors the sacred triumph of God, celebrate, and let us cry out ъ: glad, all-blessed btsⷣe, why ever.

I have given you all the recompense of your sorrows by preparing all kinds of food, and where you put it, decorated with martyrdom. Tami, enjoying the builders of your beauty, ask, what is more, what is the purification and deliverance.

The pillar of virtues, and the faith is firmly established, has taken immovable, and the wall is unyielding, it has shown itself, more and more, the Church of Christ, and the Healed, the currents of healing flow freely with love to those who create your memory, most glorious.

He drove away his godless godlessness from the earth, consumed his darkness, and applied his light-beginning lives to the uneven dawn, More glorious, more glorious, first of all, the joy of this day is full and fulfilling ѧсѧ.

Bgorodichen:

The city of God, in the most universal, truly unshakable, and deliver your flock three, two, and fallen, barbaric captivity, Ignore the sword of the enemy, and all, above all, warmly honor your representation.

Orthodox texts

You can make a request to the holy healer in your own words. But prayer will be much more effective if you read a special Orthodox text. Prayer hymns were written for the martyr Diomede: troparion, kontakion. The texts are small and easy to remember.

Troparion

The tormented vessels made your way to Heaven, / Christ’s warrior Diomede, / having defeated the devil’s wiles, / and in Heaven you were glorified by Christ, / praying for those who preserve your memory by faith.
