Irmos of the Sunday canon, tone 4 (to the chant “I will open my mouth”)

Voice 4

God is the Lord, and appear to us: in tone 4. Also the troparion: Sermon of the Bright Resurrection: twice. Glory, even now, to the Mother of God: That which has been hidden from time immemorial: The same as the usual verse of the psalter.

According to the 1st verse of Sedalny Voskresna, voice 4:

Looking at the entrance to the tomb, and in the flame of the angel, not tolerating the myrrh-bearer, she marveled with trepidation, saying: when paradise, opened to the thief, was stolen away; did he rise, who preached the rise before the passion; Christ is truly risen, giving life and resurrection to those in hell.

Verse: Arise, Lord my God, may Your hand be exalted, do not forget Your poor to the end.

By Your free counsel You endured the Cross, O Savior: and in the tomb new men laid Thee to death, in a word, the ends of the whole. The same is true of the alien being: death is cruelly taken captive, and those in hell all cry out to Your life-giving rise: Christ is risen, the Giver of Life abides forever.

Glory, even now, to the Mother of God: Joseph marveled, even more than nature in vain, and heeded the thought of rain on the fleece, in Your seedless conception, Mother of God, the bush unburnt by fire, Aaron's rod is frozen, and Your betrothed and guardian testifying, You cry out to the priest: The virgin gives birth , and after Christmas the Virgin remains.

According to the 2nd verse of Sedalny Voskresna, voice 4:

Similar to: Soon to be preceded:

Thou art risen as Immortal from the grave, O Savior, Thou hast co-created the world by Thy power, O Christ our God, Thou hast crushed the power in the fortress of death, Thou hast shown, Mi Blessed, resurrection to all: therefore we glorify You, the One Lover of Mankind.

Verse: I will confess to You, O Lord, with all my heart, I will tell of all Your wonders.

From the heights of the mountains Gabriel came down, and the white-nosed one approached the stone, which is the Stone of Life, crying out to those who weep: stop you from the sobbing of the cry, you who still have mercy: His For while you are looking for tears, be of good cheer, for truly He has risen. Moreover, cry out to the apostle: for the Lord is risen, worship Him who has risen, having received joy. Be bold, so that Eve may also dare.

Glory, even now, to the Mother of God: Surprised, O Pure One, all the faces of the angels at the terrible mystery of Your birth: how He contained all of us with mania alone, in Your embrace as a person contained The Eternal One accepts and receives the beginning and feeds on milk, Who nourishes every breath with ineffable goodness; and You are truly glorified as the Mother of God.

According to the immaculate ipakoi, voice 4:

Even Your glorious rising, foreshadowed by the myrrh-bearing apostle, preached Christ, as if You were risen as God, giving great mercy to the world.

Degree, voice 4. Antiphon 1, whose verses we repeat:

Since my youth, many passions have fought me, but intercede for me and save me, my Savior.

You who hate Zion, be put to shame by the Lord, for you will be dried up like grass by fire.

Glory: By the Holy Spirit every soul is alive, and is exalted in purity, illuminated by the Trinity and sacred mystery.

And now, the same.

Antiphon 2:

I cried out to You, Lord, warmly, from the depths of my soul, and let Your Divine Lord obey me.

In the Lord is the hope of everyone who has gained, who is above all who mourn.

Glory: Streams of grace flow through the Holy Spirit, infusing every creature with revival.

And now, the same.

Antiphon 3:

May my heart be exalted to You, the Word, and may nothing sweeten me from worldly beauties to weakness.

Just as anyone should have love for their mother, they should have a warmer love for the Lord.

Glory: Through the Holy Spirit, wealth, vision, and wisdom are revealed by the Holy Spirit: for all this the word reveals the fatherly commandment.

And now, the same.

Prokeimenon, voice 4: Arise, Lord, help us, and deliver us for your name’s sake. Verse: God, let our ears hear: Every breath: The Gospel is resurrected. Resurrection of Christ: Psalm 50. And so on according to custom.

The canon is resurrected, the creation of John of Damascus.

Song 1

Irmos: The sea of the black abyss with damp feet, the ancient Israel, having walked on foot, defeated the power of Amalek in the desert with the cruciform hand of Moses.

Chorus: Glory, Lord, to Your Holy Resurrection.

You ascended on the most pure tree with the cross, correcting our falling away, even on the tree healing all destruction, Lord, who is Good and All-Powerful.

In the tomb carnally, in hell with the soul, like God: in paradise with the thief, and on the Throne you were, Christ, with the Father and the Spirit, fulfilling everything, the Indescribable.

Theotokos: Without the seed of the Father, by the will of the Divine Spirit of God, you conceived a Son, and you gave birth to flesh: And from the Father without a mother, for our sake, from You without a father.

Another canon is the resurrection of the cross. Voice 4.

Song 1

Irmos: I will open my mouth and be filled with the Spirit:

Thou hast healed the brokenness of mankind, O Lord, by renewing Thy Divine Blood: and Thou hast crushed the mighty one in the fortress, who of old crushed Thy creation.

The rising of the dead, mortification was thou: for the strength shall be taken away from mortification, having taken up with Eternal Life, Who rules over all the incarnate God.

The Mother of God: the beauty exceeded the non -blessed ones, God's God -to -do with the temple of the spiritual, in the morning you were wearing a role, the city of holy ( who also dragged the kids in the morning, the mountain is holy holy.

), our God.

In the canon of the Most Holy Theotokos, [its endearing: Fourth Canticle to the All-Glorious Young Lady.] Tone 4.

Song 1

Irmos: Tristaty strong, be born of a Virgin:

The people were shaken, the nations were confused, and the Kingdom of the Pure, the Pure One, shrank away from the fear of Your birth: for my King will come, and overthrow the tormentor, and deliver the world from aphids.

He who lived in the highest, came down to man, sanctified, O Christ, and unshakably revealed: One after the Nativity of virginity the treasure, the Creator of the birth remained.

Song 3

Irmos: Your Church rejoices in You, O Christ, calling: You are my strength, Lord, and refuge, and confirmation.

The living tree, the mental true grape, hangs on the Cross, exuding incorruptibility to all.

As great as he is, as terrible as he is, as he has brought down the vacillation of hell, and as God is imperishable, now risen in the flesh.

Theotokos: You are the only being on earth, even more than the nature of the good, the Intercessor, the Mother of God, you were: also, rejoice, we offer you.

In Irmos: Your hymns, Mother of God:

Filled with poison in me ( filled with poison in my body)

) the serpent sank his teeth, O Savior, even the Almighty Lord, with the nails of Your hands You crushed: for there are none holy in the saints, more than You, O Lover of mankind.

You were seen to be dead in the tomb, O Life-Creator, by the will of mankind, and you opened the gates of hell, even to souls from time immemorial: for there is nothing holy in the saints except You, Lover of mankind.

Theotokos: Thou didst appear to the reins of the Neorana, having given birth to the animal class, to all who partake of the immortality of the Intercessor, who rests holy in the holy places.

In Irmos: From the heights you descended by will to the earth:

The human being is purified, by You having been added to the intolerable Divine Fire: like the hidden One, Most Pure Virgin, in You the bread was baked, Who also has preserved it unharmed.

This is what is truly near to God; as having surpassed all the ranks of angels, united by the kindness of virginity, like the shining Mother of the Almighty.

Song 4

Irmos: You are exalted, having seen the church on the Cross, the righteous Sun, standing in your rank, worthily crying out: glory to your power, Lord.

You ascended, healing my passions, to the Cross with the passion of Your Most Pure Flesh; At the same time we cry to You: glory to your power, Lord.

Having tasted the sinless death of Your life-giving Body, it is worthy of the Lord to die: we cry out to You, glory to Your power, Lord.

Theotokos: Unartfully you gave birth to a Virgin, and at the Nativity you appeared as virgins: even so, with silent voices, we rejoice in You, Lady, with undoubted faith.

In Irmos: Unexplored advice of God:

This Israel is given the law, to You, O Christ, who has given the law, I do not know: but as a lawless one, a transgressor of the law, was nailed to the Cross, who is unworthy of the law.

Thy deified, O Saviour, Soul, having captivated the treasures of hell, even from all eternity hast resurrected souls: but the life-giving Body has given forth incorruptibility to all.

Theotokos: We all glorify You, the Ever-Virgin and the true Mother of God, Who prefigured the God-seer Moses without burning, the Most Pure Bush, mingled with fire.

In Irmos: Seated in glory:

Live with people, we see the former Invisible, in the eye of the Incomprehensible Divinity, and imagine from You, the Young Lady, in a stranger, leading You, the pure Mother of God saves.

The Virgin of the Immaterial is received in the substance, in the communion of substance, the Child of the former. Moreover, in two beings, One is known as the flesh-bearer God, and the Pre-Essential Man.

After the Nativity of Thee, the Virgin, Who dwelt in the Virgin, and was born without a seed, the Word and God abides, and in the Nativity preserve the Virgin, as the Lord and Creator of all creation.

Song 5

Irmos: You, my Lord, You have come into the world, Holy Light, turning those who sing Your praises from darkness of ignorance.

You, Lord, have mercifully descended to the earth: You have lifted up a fallen human being, we will raise you up on a tree.

Thou hast taken upon me, O Christ, condemnation of sins: Thou hast destroyed mortal illnesses, O Generous One, by Thy Divine Resurrection.

Theotokos: We offer you an invincible weapon against your enemies, confirmation and hope of our salvation, Bride of God, a money-grubber.

In Irmos: All things are terrified of the Divine:

The mouth of the maddened hell accepts Thee: for having seen Thee nailed to the Cross, pierced by a spear, lifeless, the Living God, simpler than man. The mind is tempted by the strength of Your Divinity.

Destroyed, O Lover of Mankind, the Temple of Your Body, a divided tomb and hell, involuntarily, both courts are tortured ( both are tortured

): from the souls of Thy saints, the bodies of others are related, Immortal.

Theotokos: Today the prophetic prophecy has been fulfilled: For you, the Unartful Virgin, had in your womb God above all and gave birth to a lifeless Son, giving peace to all who sang Thee yushcha

In Irmos: Now I will arise:

The House of Glory, the Holy Mountain of God, the Pure One, the Bride, the Palace, the Temple of Sanctification, the Son of God, has dwelt in Thee, and has created a paradise of ever-present sweetness for us.

You received flesh from the blood of the Virgin, Christ, Seedless, Most Pure, Hypostasis, and verbal and intelligent, animated, active, willing, Self-ruling and Self-powerful.

The tormentor's mind is put to shame by the virgin's womb: For the Child tested the murderous slate ulcer with his hand, and having overthrown the proud apostate, subdued the faithful under his nose.

Song 6

Irmos: I will devour Thee with a voice of praise, Lord, the Church cries out to Thee, having been cleansed from the blood of demons, for the sake of mercy from Thy ribs the blood flowed.

You ascended to the Cross, girded with strength, and entwined with the tormentor, like God, you cast down Adam from above, and you raised Adam with invincible power.

Thou art risen, shining red, from the grave, O Christ, and thou hast driven away all the enemies by Thy Divine power, and thou hast filled all, like God, with joy.

Theotokos: Oh, the newest miracle of all miracles! Like the Virgin in the womb, all things that contain her are unartifically conceived, not crowded together.

In Irmos: I came into the depths of the sea:

Open the throat of your hell, and devour me, and expand your soul, madman: but Christ came down and made my life like a Lover of Mankind.

He perished by death, for he who died was risen, granting me incorruption: the Immortal One appeared to the women and brought joy to them.

Theotokos: The unbearable receptacle of the Divine, Thy pure womb has appeared, O Mother of God! It is impossible to look upon the ranks of heaven without fear.

In Irmos is the same.

Of old the serpent deceived me, and killed me, my primordial matter: now, O Pure One, by Thee He who created me from decay cried.

The abyss of thee is an abyss of indescribable compassion, O Maiden, chosen to show miracles: for from Thee, with the lightning of the Divinity, the pearls of Christ rose.

Kontakion, voice 4. Similar to: You appeared today:

My Savior and Deliverer, from the grave, as God has risen from the bonds of the earthly, and has broken the gates of hell, and as the Lord has risen for three days.

Ikos: Risen from the dead, Christ the Life-Giver of three days from the grave, and the gates of death today crushed by His power, and Hades put to death, and the sting of death erased, and Adam and E With the howl of the freed One, let us all sing loudly and diligently in crying praise: For the One Mighty One, God and Lord, the third day is risen.

Song 7

Irmos: In the cave of Abraham, the youths of the Persians cried out to the love of piety rather than to burning flames: Blessed art thou in the temple of Thy Glory, O Lord.

Called to incorruption, humanity has been washed by the Divine Blood of Christ, chanting with gratitude: Blessed are you in the temple of Your Glory, Lord.

Like the Life-Bearer, like the reddest of Paradise indeed, and like the brightest palace of every king, O Christ, Thy tomb, the source of our resurrection, appears.

Theotokos: Highly sanctified Divine village, Rejoice, for You have given joy, O Theotokos, to those who call: Blessed are You among women, O All-Immaculate Lady.

In Irmos: The creature will not serve God’s wisdom more than the Creator:

Thou hast humbled us upon the tree, raising up a high eye, and thou hast cast down the exalted brow to the earth, saving man: O blessed father, the Lord and God art thou blessed.

By Thy power our horn exalts those who serve You, risen from the dead, and having exhausted the wealth of many people before hell, Master: O venerable Father, the Lord and God are blessed.

Trinity: With the Divine speech that follows, we glorify the One Divinity, as in the Three Lights, Unmerged, Unstoppable, an eternal flame enlightening all creation, calling: God, blessed are you.

In Irmos: Three young men in Babylon:

Virgin love, fire will draw me to sing ( virgin love fire

), and in their hearts, cry out to the Mother and Virgin: Blessed One, the Lord may be with You.

You appeared above creation, as having given birth to the Creator and Lord. Moreover, I cry to You, Mother of God: Blessed, the Lord, I have strength with You.

Trinity: I worship Thee alone, in the Three Holy Places, indivisibly, I sing praises to the Trinitarian Nature, O Blessed One, calling upon Thee, Who governeth all things.

Song 8

Irmos: Daniel stretched out his hand, the gaping lions in the pit of the prison: quenching the fiery power, girded with virtue, the zealous youths, crying out: bless all the works of the Lord Lord.

You stretched out your hand on the Cross, you gathered all the tongues, and you alone showed, O Lord, the Church praising You, earthly and heavenly ( to earthly and heavenly

), according to those who sing: bless all the works of the Lord, sing and exalt Him forever.

The angel who is alive in the tomb, crying out and looking for him as if dead, appears white-faced to the wives, shining with the unapproachable light of resurrection; Truly Christ has risen, to whom we cry: all you do, sing praise to the Lord, and exalt ye to all ages.

Theotokos: You are One in all generations, the Most Pure Virgin, the Mother of God appeared: You were the dwelling of the Divine, the All-Immaculate One, not scorched by the fire of the Unapproachable Light. Moreover, let us all bless you, Mary the Bride of God.

In Irmos: The pious youths in the cave:

Unrighteously, seeing the slaughter of Your creation, weeping darkened: for the earth is troubled, in darkness, as the sun is clothed in a black robe: we unceasingly sing to You, and exalt You, O Christ ́, forever.

Having descended to me even to hell, and having created resurrection for everyone, you ascended again, took me to Your frame, and brought me to the Father. Moreover, I call to You: Sing to the Lord your deeds, and exalt them to all ages.

Trinity: We glorify the First and Guilty Mind of all, the One and Only Guilty Father, the Word of the Beginningless, and the Comforter Spirit, the One God of all, worshiping the Trinity more united, and exalting in all the time.

In Irmos: To the Almighty Redeemer of all:

From the side of Adam you created Thee, from Your virginity He was incarnate, Who is the Lord of all, Who sings to Him, we cry: Bless all your works, sing praises to the Lord, and exalt Him forever.

In the canopy Abraham saw, even in You, Mother of God, the sacrament, for Your Son without flesh was received, saying: bless all your deeds, sing praises to the Lord, and exalt Him forever.

The coequals of the Trinity were saved by the image of Your Virginity: in their virgin bodies they trampled upon the flame of the Maiden, crying out: bless, sing to the Lord, and exalt Him forever.

Song 9

Irmos: Stone not cut by hands, from the uncut mountain You, Virgin, the cornerstone was cut off, Christ, the aggregate of the dispersed nature. Thus we magnify You, the Mother of God, rejoicing.

Thou hast received all of me in unity in the intercourse, giving to all of us, O my God, salvation through Thy passion, even on the Cross Thou hast endured bodily, well-being for the sake of many.

Your disciples have seen Your tomb opened, and the God-bearing shrouds have been defecated by Your resurrection, with the angel saying: Truly the Lord has arisen.

Trinity: The Unity of the Divine Being, but the Hypostasis of the Trinity, worshiping all the faithful, in the unmerged Hypostases, the Equivalent One of the One, we now reverently magnify.

In Irmos: Every earth-born:

The serpent crawled flatteringly, from Eden he took me into captivity: on the rock of the rock the Almighty Lord broke this rock, like a child: and sweets brought me in upon the tree-crest. stony opening.

Thou hast laid down the strongholds of the strong enemy now into desolation: with the most powerful hand thou hast plundered his wealth from the depletions of hell, the co-resurrected flesh of Christ, and of old immeasurably praised You showed the laughter of the scolded.

Come, visiting Your poor people with embitterment, with Your merciful and sovereign hand strengthen the crusader people, Your considerable wealth, Christ, as the Lover of Mankind.

In Irmos: The hidden things of God, ineffable in You:

We see You, adorned with a stained robe, the Most Pure One of the Divine Spirit, shining in the midst of thorns, and filled with fragrances that sincerely magnify You.

Corruptible reception of human nature from Yours, All-Immaculate, Imperishable womb. Show in Himself imperishable, for goodness: even so, we magnify You as the Mother of God.

Even though you have dominion over all creatures, grant to your people victorious victory, the enemy who believes to be reconcilable to the church: let us magnify You as the Mother of God.

According to the chaos of the litany, and Holy is the Lord our God: Therefore is he luminous. Glory, even now, to the Mother of God.

On praises the stichera are resurrected, voice 4:

Verse: To bring about judgment in them is written: This glory will be to all who are like Him.

Having endured the cross and death, and risen from the dead, Almighty Lord, we glorify Your Resurrection.

Verse: Praise God in His saints, praise Him in strengthening His power.

By your cross, O Christ, you freed us from the ancient oath, and by your death you abolished our tormenting nature, the devil: by your rise you filled all joy you are. Moreover, we cry to You: risen from the dead, Lord, glory to You.

Verse: Praise Him according to His strength, praise Him according to the abundance of His majesty.

By Your Cross, O Christ the Savior, guide us to Your truth, and deliver us from the snares of the enemy, risen from the dead, raise us up fallen by sin, stretch out Your hand to Man Lord God, through the prayers of Your saints.

Verse: Praise Him with the trumpet, praise Him with the psaltery and harp.

Without being separated from your Fatherly bosom, the Only Begotten of the Word of God, you came to earth for your love for mankind, man was immutable, and you endured the cross and death in your flesh, impassive Divinity m: You rose from the dead, you gave immortality to the human race, as One is Omnipotent.

Other Anatoliev stichera, the same voice.

Verse: Praise Him in the tympanum and face, praise Him in the strings and organ.

Thou tookst death into flesh, interceding for immortality for us, O Savior, and Thou didst dwell in the tomb, and free us from hell, resurrecting us with Himself: I suffered for as a man, but I am risen to God. For this reason we cry out: glory to You, Life-Giving Lord, the Only Humane-lover.

Verse: Praise Him with the cymbal of good acclaim; praise Him with the cymbal of shouting: Let every breath praise the Lord.

The stone disintegrated, O Savior, when Thy Cross was erected on the forehead, fearing the gates of hell, when Thou wast laid in the tomb as if dead: for the Creation of death was abolished Fast, You have given incorruption to all who have died through Your resurrection, Savior, Life-Giver Lord, glory to You.

Verse: Arise, Lord my God, may Your hand be exalted, do not forget Your poor to the end.

When your wife desires to see Your resurrection, O Christ of God, when you come before Mary Magdalene, you will find the stone rolled away from the tomb, and an angel sitting, saying: Why are you looking for the living with the dead? : He is risen like God, let all things be saved.

Verse: I will confess to You, O Lord, with all my heart, I will tell of all Your wonders.

Where is Jesus, Whom is imputed, the Jews shout; where it is, lay it in the tomb, sealing the stone; give to the dead, even to the life of those who have been rejected: give to the buried one, or believe to the resurrected one. Even if you keep silent about the Lord’s rising, the stone will cry out, and it will be rolled away from the tomb. Your great mercy, the great mystery of Your sight, our Savior, glory to You.

Glory, morning gospel stichera. And now, Theotokos: Blessed are you: Great praise. According to the doxology, the troparion is resurrected:

You rose from the grave, and you tore apart the bonds of hell, you destroyed the condemnation of death, O Lord, having delivered everything from the snares of the enemy: having revealed yourself as your apostle, you sent me to preach Oh, and with those You gave Your peace to the Universe, the One Most Merciful.

Also litanies and dismissal. Therefore, the first hour, and other usual things, and the final holiday.

Bright Sermon of the Resurrection.
Tone Four Saturday night, Sunday morning

The Mother of God Dogmatist: “For Your sake, the Godfather, the prophet David, proclaimed in song about You, Who has done greatness to You: the queen has appeared at Your right hand. You are the Mother, the intercessor of the life of the show, without a father from You the benevolent God will become human, so that His image, decayed by passions, will again be renewed, and the lost pea-eater will find a sheep, we will take it to the frame, bring it to the Father, and unite His will with the heavenly forces, and save “O Mother of God, peace, Christ, have great and rich mercy.” — The Prophet David, who through You, Mother of God, became the father of God (i.e., the ancestor of the Savior, since the Virgin Mary came from the line of David), magnified You and proclaimed You in song (Greek “melodikos”) (in the 44th Psalm) about You: “The Queen stood at Your right hand” (Ps. 44:10). For You were revealed by God as the intercessor of life, Who deigned to become man without a father from You, in order to renew His image (i.e., man, who was created in the image and likeness of God), which had been corrupted (lit. “decayed”) by passions, and who was lost and kidnapped in the mountains (i.e., stolen or eaten by wild predators in the mountains, where livestock was often grazed in the east), taking a sheep (i.e., a person who has fallen away from God through sins), he will bring it to the Father and to Himself, uniting it with the heavenly powers (angels), and the Virgin Mary will save the world, Christ, possessing enormous wealth of mercy.

Stichera on verse. “Lord, having ascended to the Cross, Thou hast taken our ancestral oath, and having descended into hell, Thou hast freed eternal prisoners, granting incorruptibility to the human race, for this sake, singing, we glorify Thy life-giving and saving uprising.” - Lord, by ascending to the Cross, You destroyed the curse of our ancestors (Adam and Eve), and by descending into hell, You freed those imprisoned there forever, granting incorruption to humanity, so we singly glorify Your saving uprising (Resurrection).

Sunday Troparion

“The disciples of the Lord heard the bright resurrection sermon from the angel, and rejected the condemnation of their forefathers, the apostle boasting with the verb: death has been vanquished, Christ God is risen, granting great mercy to the world.” — The bright (brilliant) sermon (message, Greek “kyrygma”) about the resurrection, the disciples of the Lord (the myrrh-bearing wife), having learned from the angel and rejecting the forefathers’ condemnation, announced to the apostles: death has been destroyed, Christ God has risen, bestowing great mercy on the world.

Canon at Matins. Irmos of the 1st canto: “Crossing the red abyss with wet feet, ancient Israel, walking on foot, defeated the power of Amalek in the desert with the cruciform hands of Moses.” — The ancient Israelites crossed the dry depths of the Red Sea and, because Moses folded his hands in a cross shape, defeated the power of the Amalekites in the desert. - This irmos recalls the battle of the Jews under the leadership of Moses with the Amalekite tribe in Rephedim (Ex. 17: 8-16), during their forty years of wandering in the desert. During this battle, Moses ascended to the top of the hill, and when he raised his hands, “Israel prevailed, and when he lowered his hands, Amalek prevailed” (Ex. 17:11). Troparion 2nd. “In the tomb carnally, in hell with the soul like God, in paradise with the thief, and on the throne you were Christ, with the Father and the Spirit, fulfilling everything indescribable.” — This troparion confesses the mystery of the omnipresence of God, the Savior’s God-manhood. The Lord Jesus Christ suffered on the cross and was buried as a Man and as God abided in eternity as the Second Person of the Holy Trinity with God the Father and the Holy Spirit and descended into hell for the liberation of all the righteous who had previously died.

Troparion of the 3rd canto: “The serpent sank its teeth filled with poison into me, but You, the Almighty Lord, crushed them with Your wounds from the nails of the crucifixion, because there is no Holy One among the saints, greater than You, Lover of Mankind.”

Irmos of the 6th canto: “I will devour Thee with a voice of praise, Lord, the Church cries out to Thee, having been cleansed of the blood of demons, for the sake of mercy the blood flowed from Thy side.” “I will offer You a sacrifice with a voice of praise, Lord,” the Church cries to You, cleansed of demonic blood (literally - blood from a wound, infected blood), by the grace of the blood flowing from Your ribs (after the death of the Savior on the Cross, one of the soldiers pierced Him with a spear and blood and water flowed from the wound).

Irmos of the 8th canto: “Daniel stretched out his hand, the gaping lions in the den: having quenched the fiery power with virtue, the zealous youths, girded with piety, crying: bless all the works of the Lord the Lord.” - In the ditch, Daniel stopped the lions' mouths with a movement of his hand, and the youths, zealots of piety, girded with virtue, extinguished the power of the fire, crying out: Bless all the works of the Lord. - Here we recall the events described in the book of the holy prophet Daniel in the third chapter.

Irmos of the 9th canto: “The uncut stone from the uncut mountain, the Virgin, the cornerstone cut off for you, Christ, the aggregator of the dispersed nature. Thus we magnify You, the Mother of God, who rejoices.” — From the indivisible mountain (i.e. from the Virgin Mary, the “uncut mountain” is a metaphor indicating the impossibility of childbearing for the Virgin), a miraculous one was separated (indicating the unmarried birth of the Savior and the cornerstone (i.e., the most important) Stone - Christ, united in His divine-human personality the previously distant (in the spiritual sense) human and divine beings. Therefore, we joyfully magnify You, Mother of God!

Sunday night, Monday morning

Irmos of the 1st song of the canon at Matins: “Three hundred strong, born of the Virgin, dispassion in the depths, flood the tripartite soul, I pray that as in the tympanum, in the mortification of the body, I will sing a victorious song.” — Tristati is a word from the Greek translation of the Bible, which was also included in its Church Slavonic translation. This word denoted teams of war chariots, consisting of three fighters: a coachman, a shooter and a shield bearer. It was these chariots that chased the Jews and were sunk by divine power at the bottom of the Red Sea (Ex. 15). In this Irmos, the events of the Jews crossing the Red Sea are only implied. The ailments of the soul are compared here with “strong tristates” - “tripartite soul” - obviously an allusion to the thought of the holy Apostle John the Theologian about the three main vices of the soul: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). In this irmos we call upon the “Born of the Virgin” (i.e. the Lord Jesus Christ) to drown our soul vices in the “depth of dispassion”, so that, having mortified flesh (and the lust of the flesh), as on a tympanum (musical instrument), we will sing A song to God.

Monday evening, Tuesday morning.

The repentant stichera on the Lord cried out: “My soul! Be jealous of the Canaanite woman, touch Christ and cry often: Have mercy on me, O Master! I have a child - disorderly, raging flesh. Take away from her, I pray, and having quenched her disorderly leaps, make her dead with your fear through the prayers of the Most Pure One who gave birth to You, Christ and all the saints, O Most Merciful Benefactor!

Tuesday night, Wednesday morning

At Matins, troparion of the 6th song of the canon of the Mother of God: “The field that has grown the divine ear, do not despise my soul, weakened and exhausted from hunger for divine deeds, but nourish it with the divine grace of Your Son.”

Wednesday evening, Thursday morning.

At Matins, the troparion of the 6th song of the canon to the holy apostles: “God’s chosen sheep, scattered throughout the world, through faith transformed all the brutality of wolves into the meekness of lambs.”

Thursday evening, Friday morning

At Matins, the troparion of the 8th song of the canon of martyrs: “All-red martyrs! As on a chariot you mounted on your blood, and were taken to the worldly (abodes), receiving from Christ worthy honors, “Sing to the Lord” - crying out - “and exalt them to all ages!”

Friday night, Saturday morning

At Matins the stichera on the poem: “For those who believe in You, death is a dream, because You, laid in the tomb, possessing everything, destroyed the power of death and abolished its many years of violence. We pray to You: make the dead in the joy of Your saints and in the lordship of the righteous!”
