Jesus Christ;
Holy Mother of God;
Matrona of Moscow;
Nicholas the Wonderworker;

Prayer for the beginning of any business

A prayer read before starting a task requires some preparation, especially if the task is important. Opening a new business, flying to an unfamiliar country, business negotiations, entering into a relationship, starting school - all this should be blessed by the Lord from above. If you are going to start something like this, you should visit the church in advance, take the sacrament, confess or participate in the service.

Then place a candle in front of the icon of Christ and say a prayer:

“Heavenly King, who is everywhere, Comforter, Guardian of Truth, Giver of Life, Protector of Good, Fulfiller of all things, come in prayer to your servant (name) and dwell, deliver us from the evil one and defilement, save our souls, Lord.

The prayer is read aloud, clearly, without hesitation. The text should be memorized in advance; it is even recommended to rewrite it on paper several times so as not to forget or get lost. At the end of the prayer, you should certainly cross yourself three times and then bow. Bowing during baptism, as many believe, should not be done - this is a grave mistake.

At the end of business

When the matter is over, depending on its outcome, different prayers are read:

thank you note, in case of a successful outcome;
about forgiveness - in case of failure.

A prayer of thanksgiving is nothing more than a humble offering of praise to the Lord for the attention shown to you and help in the matter.

For her, you should also visit the temple and, approaching the icon of Jesus with a lit candle, say the following words:

Praise be to you, praise to the Almighty, for your unfailing help, for your glorious deeds, for the work begun for Your Glory was completed successfully. For this I thank you, O Most Holy One, for this I thank the Father, the Son, the Mother of God, all the Saints and saints, the Angels, the Archangels, the Great Martyrs. And for your glory, accept my sacrifice and crown your strength on the mortal earth. And the Kingdom of Heaven will come and the servants of God will bow their heads, for they are blessed by your deeds. Amen".

When leaving the temple, be sure to give a small amount as a donation to the beggars on the porch. If on the way home you find a coin or bill, pick it up, this is a sign that your prayers have been heard and thanked. Carry money with you as a talisman.

If the work you started after prayer was not crowned with success, which is rare, because prayer is very powerful, read a prayer for forgiveness.

It is read three times; to do this, you should kneel and hold a candle in your hands, saying:

“Lord Almighty, on my knees before You I pray for Your forgiveness. I did not hear Your Sign, sinner, I did not listen to my faith and did not understand your denial. I sadly blame myself for this, for my business failed. I ask for your mercy, do not be angry with your sinful servant, with your mortal thoughts and perishable dreams. Prayer to Nicholas the Wonderworker before starting work

It is best to pray to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker before starting a working day, especially if the work is related to money, business, or trade. This saint is favorable in matters where luck and fortitude are needed. You can also pray to Saint Nicholas before starting repairs, so that there are no problems with finances, contractors, or the quality of materials.

Prayer before starting work to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker:

O Saint Nicholas, Saint of the earth and Heavenly Pleasant. The servant of God (name) is calling to you, please convey to Our Lord my humble request: I ask for grace and good luck on this day (date). In this I pray and bow low, everything is the will of the Lord, and may His blessing be with me. Amen".

A prayer before starting repairs is given below. It should be read by the whole family living in the house or premises in which the renovation will take place. This will increase her strength. In this case, you should light a candle in each corner, and after finishing the prayer, extinguish each one by sprinkling it with a laurel branch dipped in sacred water.
