In modern practice, prayers for close relatives of the living and those already dead, for benefactors, for those at war, for the God-protected Russian country and for the whole world are usually added to the Evening Prayers. In monasteries and theological seminaries, priests at the end of the Prayers for the future to sleep pronounce a special litany and dismissal. Before going to bed, some Orthodox Christians read Psalm 90 and at the same time protect all 4 walls of their bedroom.

When you go to bed, say:

In Your hands, Lord Jesus Christ, my God, I commend my spirit; You bless me, you have mercy on me and grant me eternal life. Amen.

+ In Your hands, O Lord... I commend my spirit. These are the dying words on the cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ: Jesus, shouting with a loud voice, said: Father! I commit My spirit into Your hands. And having said this, he gave up his ghost

(Luke 23:46).

Prayers throughout the day

Before starting any business

God bless.

Or:

Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of Your Beginning Father, You declared with Your most pure lips: that without Me you cannot do anything. My Lord, Lord, I believe in the volume in my soul and heart that You have spoken, I fall into Your goodness: help me a sinner to complete this work, which I have begun, in You, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

You advertised - You said. Nothing - nothing (more precisely, nothing

).
Volume declared, accepted (actual past participle of the verb embrace
).
About You Yourself - by power, in the name of You.
+ Because without Me you cannot do anything. Here are the words from the Savior’s intimate conversation with his disciples in Russian translation: He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing

(John 15:5).

To do about You Yourself... The preposition “o” in the Church Slavonic language has, among other things, the meaning “with help, power, name”: Rejoice, ye righteous, in the Lord

(Ps. 32:1), “in”:
The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
(Rom. 14:17.) Here is this verse in the Russian translation of the Bible: The Kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

AFTER EVERY WORK IS FINISHED

Glory to You, Lord.

Or:

The fulfillment of all good things You are, my Christ, fill my soul with joy and gladness and save me, for I am the only one who is most merciful.

Fulfillment is completeness. All the best - all the best, all the good. Fulfill it - fill it.

BEFORE STUDYING

Heavenly King... (see Morning prayers:

"Prayer to the Holy Spirit")

Or:

Most gracious Lord, bestow upon us the grace of Your Holy Spirit, bestowing and strengthening our spiritual strength, so that, listening to the teaching taught to us, we may grow to You, our Creator, for glory, and for our parents to be comforted. For the benefit of the Church and the Fatherland.

Come down - go down from the sky. Grace is the help of God, the saving power of God. Giver - giver. Mental... forces - mind, heart, will, memory, conscience. In order - so that (yes + would).

+ In this prayer we ask that the Lord give us understanding and a desire to learn, so that this teaching will serve for the glory of God, for the comfort of our parents and for the benefit of our neighbors. We can and should glorify God through a virtuous life. Namely, to console parents with good successes, modest behavior, obedience, and care for them; to be useful to the Church, that is, to visit the temple of God, follow the rules and regulations of the Orthodox Church, and take care of the decoration of churches. We are useful to the Fatherland when we work for the glory of God and our homeland, pray for it, love each other and help our neighbors.

AFTER THE STUDY

It is worthy to eat... (see Morning prayers:

"End of Prayers")

Or:

We thank You, Creator, for You have made us worthy of Your grace to listen to the teaching. Bless our leaders, parents and teachers, who lead us to the knowledge of good, and give us strength and strength to continue this teaching.

Yako - what. Honored - honored. Surely so. Good is good. Strength is health.

+ In this prayer, we first thank the Lord for helping us learn; then we ask that He reward with His mercy the leaders, parents and teachers who are trying to teach us good, and give us strength and health to continue our studies.

In anticipation of death, the prayer of Hieroschim. Parthenia of Kyiv

When I, depressed by illness, feel the approaching end of my earthly existence: Lord, have mercy on me. When my poor heart, at its last beats, languishes and languishes in mortal pain: Lord, have mercy on me. When my eyes are watered with tears for the last time at the thought that throughout my life I have offended You, O God, with my sins: Lord, have mercy on me. When the rapid beating of my heart begins to accelerate the outcome of my soul: Lord, have mercy on me. When the mortal pallor of my face and my cold body strikes my loved ones with fear: Lord, have mercy on me. When my vision is darkened and my voice is cut off, my tongue turns to stone: Lord, have mercy on me. When terrible ghosts and visions begin to drive me to despair of Your mercy: Lord, have mercy on me. When my soul, struck by the memories of my crimes and the fear of Your Judgment, becomes exhausted in the fight against the enemies of my salvation, who are trying to drag me into the darkness of torment: Lord, have mercy on me. When the sweat of death drenches me, and the soul with painful suffering is separated from the body: Lord, have mercy on me. When mortal darkness closes all the objects of this world from my dim gaze: Lord, have mercy on me. When all sensation in my body ceases, my veins become numb and my muscles turn to stone: Lord, have mercy on me. When human speech and earthly sounds no longer reach my ears: Lord, have mercy on me. When the soul appears before Your face, O God, in anticipation of Your appointment: Lord, have mercy on me. When I begin to heed the righteous sentence of Your judgment, which determines my eternal fate: Lord, have mercy on me. When the body, abandoned by the soul, becomes the prey of worms and corruption and, finally, my entire composition turns into a handful of dust: Lord, have mercy on me. When the sound of the trumpet awakens everyone at Your second coming and the book of my deeds is opened, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, Your sinful servant (name). In Your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit. Amen.

Another prayer, about the same thing

Heavenly Father, Redeemer Jesus Christ, Holy God of the Soul, true, one and highest Comforter! When my time is fulfilled, which You have set for me, when my days, which You have written in Your book, have reached their limit, then grant me a blissful and peaceful departure from this life, drive out from me the love of the world and the desire to live longer; grant me a heart that is joyfully ready to depart from here. Forbid all horror and fear; keep me from the temptation of the enemy. Arm my soul with the weapons of Your righteousness, the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation; because You, Lord Jesus Christ, are my wisdom, my truth, my sanctification and redemption, my life, my consolation, my peace and my joy. Place on me the wedding garment of Your righteousness, that my soul may appear before You pure, without spot or wrinkle, and let me hear Your joyful word: come, blessed of the Lord, inherit the Kingdom of your Father, prepared for you from the beginning, and enter into the joy of the Lord yours. Amen.

Psalm 38

Reh: I will keep my ways, so that I will not sin with my tongue: I have kept them with my mouth, so that the sinner will never arise before me. I became mute and humbled, and kept silent from good things, and my illness was renewed. My heart will warm within me, and a fire will flare up in my teaching. Verbs with my tongue: tell me, Lord, my death and the number of my days, which is, so I understand that I am deprived? Behold, Thou hast laid down my days, and my composition is as nothing before Thee, but all living man is all vanity. For a man walks like this, but is troubled in vain: he treasures, and I don’t know who will collect it. And now who is my patience, is it not the Lord? And my composition is from You. Deliver me from all my iniquities; you have given me reproach to the fool. I was dumb and did not open my mouth, as You have created. Leave Thy wounds from me; I have perished from the strength of Thy hand. In denunciation; You punished man for iniquity, and you melted away his soul like a spider; otherwise, every man was in vain. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and inspire my prayer, do not silence my tears: for I am a stranger with You and a stranger, like all my fathers. Let me go, let me rest, I won’t even leave before, and I won’t help anyone.

Holy Great Martyr Barbara

Most wise and all-fair saint of the Great Martyr of Christ Varvaro! Blessed art thou, for the most worldly wisdom of God has not revealed to you the flesh and blood, but God the Heavenly Father Himself, who is like you, for the sake of faith, abandoned, expelled and killed by an unfaithful father, has received into His beloved daughter: for the corruption of earthly property, the inheritance is the gift of incorruptibility to the flesh; the labors of martyrdom by the repose of the Heavenly Kingdom changed; glorify your temporary life, cut short by His death for His sake, with veneration, as the soul from the faces of the heavenly spirits, but the body, placed on earth in their angelic temple, by the angel of the commandment to keep intact, honestly and miraculously. Blessed art thou, O Christ the Son of God, a virgin despised by the Heavenly Bridegroom, desiring to have the kindness of thy zealot, all through suffering, wounds, pleasure by cutting, and the very heads by beheading, as if thou didst endeavor to adorn them with the most precious utensils: yes, as a wife is faithful to her head to her husband, Be united to Christ in spirit and body inseparably, saying: found. But my soul loved Him, held Him, and did not forsake Him. Blessed are you, for the Holy Spirit has rested upon you, having been taught by the spiritual to reason spiritually, you have rejected all the spirits of wickedness in idols, as if they were destructive, and having come to know the only God of the Spirit, as a true worshiper, you deigned to worship in spirit and truth, preaching: I honor the Trinity, One Divinity. This Holy Trinity, Who glorified this Holy Trinity in life and death with your confession and suffering, pray for me, my intercessor, as I am always threefold, faith, love and hope, and here I honor the Holy Trinity as a virtue. I am the lamp of faith, but the oil is empty of good deeds: you, wise virgin, thy suffering flesh, filled with blood and shed with wounds, like the one who has the lamp, give from your oil, so that by decorating my soul’s candle, I, your unworthy servant (name) will be honored. ) for you to enter into the palace of heaven. I am a sojourner on earth and a stranger, like all my fathers: eternal blessings to the heiress and a blessed meal in the Kingdom of Heaven, a partaker, as in the journey of life, a meal of divine treats, here and at the departure from the world, grant me the desired guidance: and always at the end of sleep I will begin to put death to sleep, then touching my exhausted flesh, like sometimes the angel of Elijah, saying: Arise, eat and drink, as if strengthened by the grace of the divine Body and Blood of the Mysteries, I will walk in the fortress of that food the long path of death, even to the mountain of heaven: and there, Through the three windows of the bathhouse you first saw the Trinity of God by faith, Him together with you face to face, so that I may be worthy to see and glorify Him forever and ever. Amen.

List of prayers

Prayer of thanksgiving

When the cry for help has been heard and the problem has been solved, we must say words of gratitude to Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ our God, God of all mercy and generosity, whose mercy is immeasurable and whose love for mankind is an immeasurable abyss! We, falling before Your greatness, with fear and trembling, like unworthy slaves, bring thanks to You for the mercies shown to us. As the Lord, Master and benefactor, we glorify You, praise You, sing and magnify You and, falling down, thank You again! We humbly pray to Your ineffable mercy: just as now You have accepted our prayers and fulfilled them, so in the future, let us succeed in love for You, for our neighbors and in all virtues. And make us worthy to always thank and glorify You, together with Your beginningless Father and Your all-holy, good, and consubstantial Spirit. Amen.

Jesus Prayer

Every day we are faced with many problems, the solution of which can have an impact on our future life. So that every day brings good news and is marked by right decisions, you can begin it with a prayer to Jesus Christ for every day. It is a well-known short but very significant prayer.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Reading it every day gives confidence, instills peace and faith that a person will be under the protection of our Lord.

“Father! I commend my spirit into your hands."

(Luke 23:46)

Jesus cried out with a loud voice and said, “Father! into Your hands I commend My spirit.”

And having said this, he gave up the ghost.

This is the last of seven words spoken from the cross by the lips of the dying Savior and revealing His greatness.

When the Savior was crucified on the cross, the first word He uttered was a prayer to His Heavenly Father. Then, when the waves of temptation and sorrow broke over His head and nearly drowned Him, He again turned to prayer - the anchor of His heart and all life. Likewise, now, when the most glorious victory was won, when Holy Saturday came - a great evening for the dying Sufferer, and now, I say, His holy lips say a prayer. This is precisely what serves as a ray of His greatness, that even now He could pray, and those words to which he turned in prayer were the words of God. With these words He once defeated the tempter. With the word of God He conquered and punished His enemies and with the same word He taught and consoled His friends. The Word of God was light throughout His (earthly) path. He turned to the same Word in moments of greatest and deepest danger, when with the expression of the psalm: My God, My God, why have you forsaken me? He expressed His sorrow. He had the Word of God in mind when he cried out: I thirst! and at the same time the last prophecy about His suffering and death was fulfilled. The holy psalmist once prayed: “Into Your hand I commend my spirit; You have delivered me, O Lord, God of truth."

(Ps. 30:6), and the Son of God made this prayer His dying song, when he cried out: “Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit!” With this call He bowed His head and with this prayer on His lips He died. He is dying who Himself said: “I am the resurrection and the belly!” He dies, and no one dried the dying sweat on His brow. He is dying, and no one supported Him with a word of consolation and love. He dies, and no one bids farewell to the Son of God, who is separated from the earth, with his last kiss. But over this cross there was no breath of death and the final destruction of the Deceased. Death has lost its sting here. The dying man does not fear her, but, on the contrary, rejoices that He is returning again to His Father!

Father, I commit My spirit into Your hands!

These are the words that the Savior prays at the moment of death, which He Himself came to meet.
He voluntarily gave Himself into the hands of His enemies, who were before His mighty one: I am
fallen on my face, and no force could bind Him if He Himself did not want it;
He also voluntarily betrays Himself into the bonds of death. “He came to death, and not death to Him,” therefore said the Church Fathers. As proof of this, He gave His spirit into the hands of the Father, crying out with a loud voice,
that is, with a loud cry.
“No one takes it away from Me, but I Give it Myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to receive it again. I have received this commandment from My Father” (John 10:18).

He died voluntarily, but he really

and endured all the pains of death for us.
And then He handed over His soul for the care and preservation (He could no longer do this on His own) to His Father. From the hands of His enemies, who, after various mockeries and torments, hung Him on the tree of oath, He handed Himself over to the hands of God. Father,
He prays, as in His first word on the cross, the word of His high priestly intercession for the murderers.
Father
the One whom He called God in that terrible hour of His abandonment from the Father. At this hour of His death, He again becomes in the same relationship to His Father as He was previously, before His suffering.

He transfers His soul into the hands of the Father in the confidence that it will be unharmed and preserved intact until the day when He again takes it from his hands for the resurrection of the body.

Free from all suffering, safe from the wrath and snares of the devil, Jesus entered into the rest of God; The doors of paradise immediately opened to Him, into which He promised today to bring the thief with Him, where He leads the souls and all His followers, who together with Him in this last breath, like a merciful High Priest, transfers them into the hands of His Father. “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”

(John 10:28–29).

That is why Christians know on what their comforting confidence is based and into whose hands they place, at the onset of death, their souls for preservation until the day of resurrection. That is why the first martyr Stephen, dying under the stones of his killers, prayed: “Lord Jesus, accept my spirit!”

That is why many other Christian martyrs, dying, said:
“Oh, Lord Christ, You are my Savior;
I commend my spirit into Your hands.” Or:
“Father, I commit my spirit into Your hands;
You have delivered me, O Lord God, of truth.” Christian! Will this sigh also be your dying breath? Oh, try so that you can give your soul for safekeeping until the day of resurrection in such reliable hands. Blessed is he who, at the final end of his life, when both thoughts and feelings disappear, is worthy to transfer his soul into the hands of the Almighty Father with the confidence that no one will snatch it from these hands. Such comforting confidence is quite enough to die in peace. He who has such faith knows that his soul, even among the raging waves of death, will be safe and remain unharmed. I am in the hands of my Father; I know this and I don’t need to know anything else; For me it is completely enough to know about the place of peace. And what will happen from the moment of my death until the hour when all the dead hear the voice of the Son of God and their graves are opened, I leave this to Him and His good will. At my last end I pray: “Father, in Your hands I commend my spirit.”

and, having placed my entire hope in Him, I die in peace.

May our Heavenly Father grant us such a peaceful death! But, oh my beloved brothers! Whoever did not know any Father in heaven during his life, can he entrust his spirit to Him at death? " Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father"

(1 John 2:23).
No one comes,
” He Himself says, “
to the Father except through Me”
(John 14:6).
That is why His name is now preached, so that you may believe in Him and by this faith become children of God. Blessed is he who can, with his last breath, commit his spirit into the hands of the Father; but it is scary to fall into the hands of the Living God, Who is never mocked
and from whose hands no one can save. May our Heavenly Father protect and preserve us from this.

Song 1

Irmos: As Israel walked on dry land, with footsteps in the abyss, seeing the persecutor of Pharaoh drowned, we sing a song of victory to God, crying out.

Translation: How Israel walked on dry land through the abyss with their feet, and cried out when they saw Pharaoh’s persecutor drowned: “Let us sing a song of victory to God!”

Chorus: Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.

Now I, a sinner and burdened, have come to You, my Master and God; I don’t dare look at the sky, I just pray with the verb: give me, Lord, my mind, so that I may weep bitterly for my deeds.

Now I have come, sinful and burdened, to You, my Master and God; but I do not dare to look at the sky, I only pray, exclaiming: “Give me, Lord, reason, so that I mourn my deeds bitterly!”

Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.

Oh, woe to me, a sinner! I am more damned than all men; there is no repentance in me; Give me, Lord, tears, let me cry bitterly for my deeds.

Oh, woe to me, a sinner! I am more damned than all people: there is no repentance in me. Give me, Lord, tears so that I may mourn my deeds bitterly!

Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Foolishly, wretched man, you waste time in laziness; think about your life, and turn to the Lord God, and weep bitterly for your deeds.

Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Mad, damned man, you are wasting time in laziness! Think about your life and turn to the Lord God, and weep bitterly about your deeds!

And now, and forever, and forever and ever, amen. Most Pure Mother of God, look at me, a sinner, and deliver me from the snare of the devil, and guide me on the path of repentance, so that I may weep bitterly for my deeds.

And now, and always, and forever and ever, amen. Most pure Mother of God! Look at me, a sinner, and deliver me from the snare of the devil, and guide me on the path of repentance, so that I may mourn my deeds bitterly!

Song 3

Irmos: There is nothing holy like You, O Lord my God, Who has lifted up the horn of Your faithful, O Good One, and established us on the rock of Your confession.

There is no saint like You, Lord my God, who has exalted those faithful to You, O Good One, and established us on the rock of Your confession.

Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.

Sometimes thrones will be set for a more terrible judgment, then the deeds of all men will be exposed; woe will be the sinner who is sent to torment; And then you know, my soul, repent from your evil deeds.

When the thrones are set up at the Last Judgment, then the deeds of all people will be exposed; woe there will be for the sinner, sent away to torment! And knowing this, my soul, repent of your evil deeds!

Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.

The righteous will rejoice, and the sinners will cry, then no one will be able to help us, but our deeds will condemn us, and before the end, repent of your evil deeds.

The righteous will rejoice, and sinners will mourn: then no one will be able to help us, but our deeds will condemn us. Therefore, before the end, repent of your evil deeds!

Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Woe to me, a great sinner, who have been defiled by deeds and thoughts, and have not a drop of tears from hard-heartedness; now arise from the earth, my soul, and repent from your evil deeds.

Alas for me, the great sinner! I, having been defiled by deeds and thoughts, do not have a drop of tears from hardness of heart! Now arise from the earth, my soul, and repent of your evil deeds!

And now, and forever, and forever and ever, amen. Behold, O Lady, Your Son calls, and teaches us to do good, but the sinner always flees from good; but You, O Merciful One, have mercy on me, so that I may repent of my evil deeds.

Behold, O Lady, Your Son calls and teaches us good things; I, a sinner, always run from good! But You, Merciful One, have mercy on me so that I will repent of my evil deeds!

Sedalen, voice 6th

I think about the terrible day and weep for my evil deeds: how will I answer the Immortal King, or with what boldness will I look at the Judge, you prodigal one? Gracious Father, Only Begotten Son and Holy Soul, have mercy on me.

I think about the terrible day and cry about my evil deeds, how will I answer the Immortal King? And how can I dare to look at the Judge, I, the prodigal? Merciful Father, Only Begotten Son, Holy Spirit, have mercy on me.

Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and now, and ever, and unto ages of ages, amen.

Theotokos

Bound now by many captives of sins and held by fierce passions and troubles, I resort to You, my salvation, and cry out: help me, O Virgin, Mother of God.

Now, bound by many bonds of sins and oppressed by fierce suffering and troubles, I resort to You, my salvation, and cry out: “Help me, Virgin, Mother of God!”

Song 4

Irmos: Christ is my strength, God and Lord, the honest Church sings divinely, crying out from a pure meaning, celebrating the Lord.

Christ is my strength, God and Lord, the Holy Church reverently sings, crying out, triumphant in the Lord with pure reason.

Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.

The path here is wide and pleasing to create sweets, but it will be bitter on the last day, when the soul will be separated from the body: beware of this, O man, of the Kingdom for the sake of God.

The path here is wide and it is easy to do pleasant things, but it will be bitter on the last day, when the soul and body will be separated! Save yourself from this, man, for the sake of the Kingdom of God!

Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.

Why did you offend the poor, withhold bribes from a mercenary, dislike your brother, persecute fornication and pride? Forsake this, my soul, and repent for the sake of the Kingdom of God.

Why do you offend the poor, withhold a worker’s wages, don’t love your brother, strive for fornication and pride? Leave all this, my soul, and repent for the sake of the Kingdom of God!

Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. O foolish man, how long will you scrabble like a bee, collecting your wealth? Soon he will perish like dust and ashes: but seek more the Kingdom of God.

O crazy man! How long will you fuss like a bee, collecting your wealth? After all, it will soon perish like dust and ashes; but first seek the Kingdom of God.

And now, and forever, and forever and ever, amen. Lady Theotokos, have mercy on me, a sinner, and strengthen me in virtue, and keep me, so that insolent death does not snatch me away, unprepared, and bring me, O Virgin, to the Kingdom of God.

Madam Mother of God! Have mercy on me, a sinner, and strengthen and preserve me in virtue, so that sudden death does not snatch me away, unprepared, and bring me, Virgin, to the Kingdom of God!

Remember, O accursed man, how you were enslaved by lies, slander, robbery, infirmity, by a fierce beast, for the sake of sins; My sinful soul, is this what you desired?

Why should I not cry when I always think about death, when I see my brother lying in the grave, inglorious and ugly? What am I drinking and what am I hoping for? Just grant me, Lord, before the end, repentance. (Twice)

How can I not cry when I think about death! For I saw my brother lying in the tomb, inglorious and ugly. What am I waiting for and what am I hoping for? Just give me, Lord, repentance before the end!

Prayer

Master Christ God, who healed my passions with His passions and healed my ulcers with His wounds, grant me, who have sinned much against You, tears of compunction; dissolve my body from the smell of Your Life-giving Body, and delight my soul with Your Honest Blood from sorrow, from which the enemy gave me a drink; lift up my mind to You, which has fallen to the ground, and lift me up from the abyss of destruction: for I am not the imam of repentance, I am not the imam of compunction, I am not the imam of consoling tears that lead children to their inheritance. My mind has been darkened by worldly passions, I cannot look to You in illness, I cannot warm myself with tears, even love for You. But, Lord Jesus Christ, treasury of good things, grant me complete repentance and a laborious heart to seek Yours, grant me Your grace and renew the eyes of Yours in me image. Leave you, don’t leave me; come to seek me, lead me to Thy pasture and number me among the sheep of Thy chosen flock, educate me with them from the grain of Thy Divine Sacraments, through the prayers of Thy Most Pure Mother Tere and all Your saints. Amen.

Master Christ God, who healed my passions with Your sufferings and healed my ulcers with Your wounds! Grant me, who have sinned much before You, tears of contrition for my sins. Grant to my body to receive the fragrance of Your life-giving Body, and give to my soul the sweetness of Your precious Blood instead of the bitterness that the enemy fed me. Raise my mind, which has fallen to the ground, to You, and lift me out of the perilous abyss. For there is no repentance in me, there is no contrition in me, there are no comforting tears in me that bring children to the Father’s house. My mind has become darkened by worldly passions, I cannot look at You in suffering, I cannot warm myself with tears of love for You! But, Lord Jesus Christ, Treasury of good things! Grant me complete repentance and a heart that works with love in search of You; Grant me Your grace and renew in me the features of Your image. I left You - don't leave me. Come out to look for me, bring me to Your pasture and number me among the sheep of Your chosen flock, nourish me with them from the bread of Your Divine Sacraments, through the prayers of Your Most Pure Mother and all Your saints. Amen.

In the canons, the chorus as a prayer appeal is pronounced before the first and second (and third, when there is one) troparion of each song, but is not read before the troparion beginning with “Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” and “And now and ever and unto ages of ages.” . Amen".
