Natalya Moskvitina: biography, personal life, husband, children

Often, in every family, various problems arise related to both the relationship between husband and wife, and the older and younger generations. Raising children is also a concern for many parents who worry that their child is telling lies or getting involved with bad company; many want to wean their children off social networks or are trying to survive their adolescence. All these questions are discussed on the family talk show “I Love You,” aired on the SPAS TV channel.

The host of this project, Natalya Moskvitina, knows firsthand how to build trusting relationships with children, because she herself is the mother of four children. Many women, having learned the biography of the journalist, are perplexed - how does she manage to do everything? After all, in addition to filming at SPAS, she runs her “Women for Life” foundation, saving the lives of unborn babies.

Passion for journalism

The future presenter was born in 1984. What her father did is unknown, but her mother worked in the healthcare system. Even during her school years, Natalya became interested in journalism, starting her career at the age of 15. The girl got a job at a local newspaper in Volgograd, publishing articles on cultural topics. Her abilities were soon noted: the mayor of the city presented the aspiring journalist with an award for “Achievement in Youth Journalism.” After graduating from school, she applied to the university of her city, where she soon became a journalism student.

Moskvitina began her career in news and a local magazine, doing correspondent work. She often had to go on business trips to Moscow, and a year later she moved there permanently. At first, Natalya worked in a production center, but the work there did not suit her:

“We ourselves came up with news for the stars, competing in originality, and the next day the news was published in the media. This disappointed me for a while, but pushed me to look for a job for my soul.”

Helping people. Creation of the Women for Life Foundation

The journalist did not look for vacancies in her specialty, but directed her attention to charitable causes. But in the early 2000s it was difficult to find such organizations, and then it began to help refuseniks and those who wanted to commit suicide. In 2010, Moskvitina decided to support and help the residents of Kosovo, who were on strike due to the adoption of a referendum on their separation from Serbia. She sent them an icon and raised money, but she understood that much more could be done. Soon the journalist met her colleague Natalia Batraeva, with whom they did a lot of work, collecting icons for the destroyed monasteries of Kosovo.

Then Natalya took missionary courses and began to help women who found themselves in difficult everyday situations. The idea to create the “Women for Life” movement came to her in 2021, but at first the journalist was supported by several like-minded women with whom she communicated on the Internet.

Over time, their team has grown, and now numerous members of the foundation are doing a lot of work in this regard. They make social videos on anti-abortion topics and conduct conversations with women to stop them from taking a terrible step. In addition, they are trying to ensure that the legislation includes an amendment on the responsibility of doctors for referring for an abortion: in this case, the doctor must prove the reason why he does not want to save the life of the unborn child. Moskvitina and her foundation are engaged in another very important matter: they accept clothes, furniture, and things from residents for large and low-income families, as well as for single women who do not have the opportunity to raise a child themselves.

It's not me who saves, but God

– After the birth of my third child, I began to literally become surrounded by women who were thinking about abortion and were at a crossroads. Acquaintances, friends, friends of friends.

It was a classmate and mothers whom I met on the playground. By some amazing coincidence, they all expected support and advice from me.

“You’ve already given birth to three, you know everything,” they told me. It was difficult, it’s easier to explain something about abortion to a stranger, but here you have a relationship with this person, you are afraid of hurting, offending, losing a friend. I had to step out of my comfort zone, but in the end we kept these pregnancies.

Then I met a lawyer, she could help, suggest something, for example, how to deal with alimony. A gynecologist appeared among my friends; I could consult her on problematic pregnancies. Gradually, I began to collect literature and look for some videos.

– When did you start thinking that your work in pro-life needed to be systematized?

“I couldn’t even imagine that there would be some kind of fund.” Over time, I just acquired acquaintances, and a volunteer movement began to form around me. Our Good Boutique has already appeared, where women in need could choose clothes for themselves and take the necessary children's things.

My friends gave me the idea that it was time to do all this professionally. This happened two weeks after my divorce. And if before that I had run away from thoughts about the foundation in every possible way, then I simply said “yes.”

Broadcasts on SPAS TV channel

Not long ago, Natalya received an offer from the management of the SPAS TV channel. Previously, she had not even thought about working on television, as she was terribly afraid of live broadcasting. The topics that were offered to her were close to her, so soon programs such as:

  • "Word";
  • "I love you";
  • "The Priest's Answer."

The presenter herself at first doubted whether she could combine work at the foundation and filming on the TV channel, but everything turned out well. While working, she gets real pleasure, sometimes forgetting that the filming process is underway. Over time, the program with Moskvitina’s participation gained new fans and changed slightly to suit the interests of the audience.

It's easier to offer warmth than to show a video of an abortion.

– Are we talking about shocking videos in which abortion is shown in great detail?

– Yes, but this is a tough pro-life. To be honest, I’m not a fan of showing this kind of material to everyone right away.

By the way, I never watched the film “Silent Scream”, I just couldn’t.

Yes, these videos change you forever. But for me, consulting with such harsh material is not an option. In life I am very positive and soft, it is easier for me to support a person with my warmth than to show such trash.

Although there are, of course, women with whom you don’t need to babysit. But in my experience, what is needed is support and a kind word, rather than intimidation.

– Does it inspire you and give you confidence to know that you already have saved lives?

- Confidence that you are on the right path. But this is not my merit, I am not the one who saves. At that time, I was completing missionary courses at the Church of the Apostle Thomas on Kantemirovskaya, where Father Daniil Sysoev served and was killed. And this is where this clear missionary attitude came from: God does everything for you, you do nothing yourself.

Here I successfully said the phrase, and here I gave the necessary example, but this is with God’s help.

New life after divorce from husband

The journalist’s personal life has always been closely connected with her activities, because it was after her divorce from her husband that she took up the business to which she devotes all of herself. Now she combines work and raising four children, but there was a time when doctors gave young Natasha a terrible diagnosis - infertility. She was worried about this because she dreamed of creating a big family. The girl did not want to believe it and constantly prayed to God.

Soon a miracle happened: she became pregnant. However, the good news was overshadowed - she was sent for an abortion because the fetus’s heartbeat was not heard. The expectant mother fought as best she could for the child, trying to maintain the pregnancy. Everything worked out, and soon she had a daughter. A second pregnancy followed, but then the doctors told her that the child could be born with Down syndrome. Moskvitina again did not follow the advice of doctors and gave birth to an absolutely healthy son.

5 months after her second birth, the young woman underwent a routine ultrasound, where a polyp was discovered. But she did not immediately go for cleaning, and soon learned from another doctor that she was pregnant. During this time, some gynecologists dissuaded Natalya from giving birth and sent her for an abortion, but she herself did not agree and decided to continue her third pregnancy. All these events influenced the journalist and encouraged her to help women who found themselves in the same situation as her.

Her husband did not share many of her views and interests, and he was also an unbeliever. Moskvitina hoped that over time he would come to faith, but a miracle did not happen, moreover, the relationship between the spouses only worsened. Natasha devoted a lot of time to charity, but her husband did not support her activity. The woman tried to discuss and talk with her husband, however, there was no understanding on his part.

After the divorce, a lot has changed in her life, and now the presenter can give advice to those women who are afraid to be left alone with their children. When raising her sons, Natalya does not want to overdo it with maternal love, but also strives not to lose close contact with them.

“How is this an abortion?!”

Every year, millions of abortions are performed in our country alone. In some cases, they kill on the persistent recommendations of doctors, in others - on the convictions of the pregnant woman’s relatives and friends, but the final decision always remains with the woman.

Natalya Moskvitina

We met with the organizer of the human rights organization “Women for Life” Natalya Moskvitina and asked her to tell the stories of mothers who, despite all imaginable and unimaginable arguments and circumstances, refused to kill their own child.

Natalya happily agreed to help us, but for obvious reasons asked to change the names of the main characters.

“The women I encounter have completely different destinies and circumstances. But they all have one thing in common - they are in dire need of love,” Natalya says excitedly. “In order to keep them from committing infanticide, it is often enough to simply let them know that they are not alone... These are the stories of lost women, as I call them, who find themselves in conditions of struggle.”

Story 1. Medical error, or an ordinary miracle

Natalya Moskvitina with children

This is today Natalya Moskvitina - a beautiful woman and mother of four children, who daily finds the right words, convincing women not to commit the sin of infanticide. And once they tried to convince her three times of the need to commit sin.

It feels like everything in Natasha’s life is happening despite all medical diagnoses.

For example, she became pregnant immediately after the final verdict of infertility. At first, the doctors were surprised for a long time and even, perhaps, were happy for Natasha, but then, at 6 weeks, they advised to “terminate” the miraculously arising pregnancy. The main reason was that the fetus’s heartbeat could not be heard, and the expectant mother experienced severe pain in the lower abdomen.

“Most likely, the fetus is not developing, and there is no point in fighting for this pregnancy,” the doctor from the antenatal clinic said indifferently and sat down to write out a referral for “cleaning.”

Natasha refused to believe in bad things: her heart told her that the child was alive

But Natasha refused to believe in bad things: her heart told her that her child was alive. All day she sat outside the gynecology office, demanding that she be put into storage. Only in the evening the doctor gave in to her demands, and the pregnant woman was admitted to a paid ward.

She spent the whole night, without sleeping a wink, in prayer for her child.

Morning came and another doctor came into her room to examine her. With a kind smile, looking at the dark circles under his eyes and the prayer book pressed to his chest, he squeezed her hand and said what she most wanted to hear: “Don’t worry! We will definitely save your child."

Natasha was taken for an ultrasound, where she was relieved to learn that her baby was alive and his life was not in danger.

“I will never be able to forget my feelings in these moments. That night in the hospital, full of fears and expectations, was like hell,” Natasha recalls, “but then, with the arrival of a new day and this doctor, heaven came into my life.”

This is how an absolutely healthy Polina was born.

During her second pregnancy, doctors again tried to persuade the woman to have an abortion. This time the reason was a suspected diagnosis of Down syndrome.

As a result of this struggle, absolutely healthy Peter was born,

5 months after his birth, Natalya became pregnant again.

And then the doctors once again, like kites, pounced on her, forcing her to commit infanticide. A variety of arguments were given. At first they recommended that she “take a rest after the second birth,” then they threatened her with lack of money and poverty, asking about her husband’s salary. But the final and decisive argument was the fact that Natasha took antibiotics in the first month of pregnancy: “Abortion is the only option for you! Without a doubt, a child, even if born, will have a developmental pathology. Maybe without an arm or a leg... Why do you need this?

Indeed, after giving birth she caught a severe cold, and she was prescribed a course of the most gentle medications.

“I cried and prayed without getting up from my knees. The hardest thing was to realize that I myself had harmed my child... But I had to continue the fight, no matter what,” Natasha recalls. “My husband, oddly enough, distanced himself from me at that moment, and this made it doubly scary. It was probably then that I most realized how a lost woman feels, having lost hope and the support of loved ones.”

However, contrary to all forecasts, a control ultrasound at 12 weeks did not reveal any fetal pathologies.

So another healthy child was born.

Since then, Natalya has been trying to go to doctors as little as possible. During her fourth pregnancy, she deliberately refused to undergo screening: “I only gave blood and urine. That’s all I needed to monitor my child’s condition, and for the rest I relied on the Lord.”

During our conversation, four smartly dressed children ran and jumped around us. Polina, as the eldest, listened with interest to her mother’s stories.

We invited them to take some photos together.

“The Lord gives children, and He decides what my child will be like,” smiles Moskvitina, joyfully hugging her four children to herself.

Who knows what would have happened if all these difficulties had not arisen in Natalia’s life. Perhaps then the social movement “For Life” simply would not have existed... And without it there would have been no new lives saved, no new victories over sin, some of which are given in the following stories.

Story 2. “Whoever you condemn for something, you yourself will be in that situation”

Ksenia and Roman got married immediately after graduation. The love and harmony between the two young people was the undisguised envy of all their classmates.

When Ksyusha became pregnant, Roma carried his beloved in his arms, buying up all the fruit stands for her in the winter. Despite the fact that the pregnancy was happy and idyllic, the birth was difficult. Their first-born Olezhka was born weak, and for the first two days he was kept in a special incubator for newborns.

Ksenia came and looked at her lying little son, covered with various tubes, and cried bitterly. And from the room opposite came women who were satisfied, as it seemed to her then, and clearly more well-groomed than she was. The nurse told her that there were those who were going to have an abortion.

This news shocked the impressionable Ksyusha to the core: “What is happening: while I’m here praying for the health of my son, these people are voluntarily killing their children?!”

- How can they? — she said indignantly on the phone to her husband. - How can they do this?!

“Well,” Roma sighed, “you’re so good to me.” And they are probably different... But in general, who knows, Ksyusha, what their circumstances are like there!

I know for sure that I would never do this!

- Circumstances?! Yes, whatever the circumstances, this is not a reason to kill children! I know for sure that I would never do this! - she shouted into the phone.

Many years have passed since that very phrase.

Olezhka, their first-born, was finishing sixth grade, Dashutka was finishing second, and the youngest had just started kindergarten.

Ksenia never had time to work anywhere; her honors diploma was gathering dust among her children’s birth certificates. But Roman disappeared at work from early morning until late evening.

And then trouble came to their exemplary family, as it seemed to many.

During a New Year's corporate party, Roman's tipsy colleague told Ksenia that her husband had had a mistress for many years. A long period of scandals and mutual accusations ensued. Finally, realizing that she was not ready to forgive the betrayal, Ksenia filed for divorce.

Roma didn’t particularly object and, which came as a complete surprise to Ksyusha, filed for division of property: “I also need to live somewhere, I worked hard for this apartment while you were sitting at home. You haven’t brought a penny into our budget!” - he shouted, nervously putting his things into a box.

And it was at this, such an inopportune moment, that Ksenia found out about another pregnancy.

“What, another child? Then when do I get a divorce? When you have to look for work to feed three children?” - she thought. This is where the decision to have an abortion arose.

And now she, a mother of many children and a decent woman, found herself in the ward of the abortion clinic, completely confident in the correctness of her action. However, Ksyusha’s soul was uneasy - she could not be in the ward and participate in conversations with other women.

She went out into the corridor to be alone with herself, and suddenly noticed a young girl crying bitterly. She stood by the window and talked on the phone. Ksenia involuntarily listened.

- They put on different tubes, all yellow, small - but so beautiful. Oh, if only you could see him... Yes, I also hope that everything will be fine... I pray next to him,” the woman burst into tears, but then pulled herself together. — And they also perform abortions nearby, can you imagine?! Yes: on the one hand they give birth, and on the other they kill. It's horrible! I don’t understand these women: what kind of circumstances can force them to kill their own child?! I would never do such a thing! NEVER!

Ksenia froze in a daze, her whole life flashed before her eyes. She returned to the ward to collect her things and really never return there again.

The baby rekindled the couple's love

It must be said that the fourth baby revived the couple’s love. The guilty Roman came to the maternity hospital to pick up his youngest son, repented and asked for forgiveness. And Ksenia has long softened and forgiven. Did she have the right to voluntarily deprive her four children of a loving father?

Story 3. “We invite you to the celebration”

A graduate of an orphanage, Olga always dreamed of living in a family.

Still very young, she smiled and stretched out her hands to possible adoptive parents, hoping that they would choose her. But, alas, time passed, and no one took her.

When Olya turned 12 years old, the hope of getting into someone's family disappeared. However, after some time she had another dream:

“I’ll get out of here and meet a nice guy.” We will get married and have many, many children... And I will have my own big home, where I will be surrounded by loving, family and close people.

No one taught her how to build relationships: all her knowledge was limited to those films that she managed to watch in the orphanage, and the vulgar advances of Mishka from her group. She almost fell in love with Mishka then, until he suddenly started dating Irka. The other guys weren't particularly interested in Olga.

And then came the decisive moment when Olga emerged from the control of her teachers into adulthood. She easily entered college and moved to live in a small room received from the state.

Soon the long-awaited acquaintance took place. Yes, not with an ordinary guy, but with a foreigner, Michael, who somehow miraculously dropped by at one of their student parties. Michael spoke with a beautiful accent, dressed fashionably and generally looked nothing like the guys from her orphanage. But most importantly, he was the first who wanted a real relationship with Olya.

She could already imagine how surprised her friends and teachers would be when they received invitations to her wedding: “Olga and Michael invite you to their celebration!”

The foreign groom disappeared as unexpectedly as he appeared

However, the foreign groom disappeared as unexpectedly as he appeared. His phone stopped answering, none of his mutual acquaintances knew anything about the whereabouts of her beloved.

A month later, Olya discovered that she was expecting a child.

Completely lost, she turned to her former teachers for help, but they unanimously began to tell Olya about abortion:

— You yourself live on benefits from the state, but how will you support your child? - her beloved nanny Zoya waved her hands at her. “If you don’t have an abortion, then you can say goodbye to your dream of marriage right away.” No one needs you anyway - and with a child in your hem, no one will even look at you.

The last argument seemed the most impressive to Olya:

“Perhaps they are right: we need to have an abortion,” she sighed resignedly. But, fortunately, it was at that moment that I learned about the Women for Life Foundation.

Participants in the movement were able to find the right words to convince Olya that pregnancy, no matter what the circumstances, almost always leads to happiness. They also made her feel that she was not alone at all.

After some time, the expectant mother sent her saviors an invitation: “Olga and Ivan invite you to their celebration.”

Her dream came true: contrary to all forecasts, she was able to find love and was preparing for the wedding.

Former orphanage student Vanya met pregnant Olga in college and immediately felt a kindred spirit in her. It turns out that he, too, always dreamed of a big family and was only glad that he and his beloved would have a child.

Story 4. Request for help

This is a sad story of a struggle that is not yet over. It probably begins the same way as most stories of lost women.

There was once a girl, let's call her Katya, and she dreamed of love.

Katya met Dima. They started dating, and everything was fine until Katya found out that she was pregnant. Dima didn’t plan to become a father at all. “Go have an abortion - I don’t need children! I still want to go for a walk! - he shouted at the crying Katya. “And anyway, if you want to know, I’m now with Lenka!”

The lost girl, with her head down, wandered home:

- Abortion... How is this an abortion?! After all, this is my child - ours! After all, we loved each other... Or only I loved,” Katerina burst into tears again, dropping to her knees right on the snow-covered ground.

She remembered the words that Dima said to her at the very beginning of their relationship, how affectionate he was then and how he has changed now. Even the expression on his face became different - she had never seen so much anger in those eyes she loved. My heart was ready to burst from pain.

“I have to be strong for my child,” she thought, suddenly calming down.

Katerina walked home with a confident gait, a firm decision ripened in her head.

At home, Katya honestly confessed everything to her mother:

- Mommy, help me save the child, I beg you! I have no one else to count on,” the daughter fell at her mother’s feet.

Katya’s mother’s plans did not include becoming the grandmother of an illegitimate child.

But Katya’s mother’s plans did not include becoming the grandmother of an illegitimate child:

- Have an abortion or get out of the house on all four sides so that you don’t set foot with this bastard!

And Katya, rejected by her loved ones and completely lost, had no choice but to move to live in the entrance.

A new attempt to turn to Dima for help turned into a conflict with his new passion - Lena brutally beat pregnant Katya.

Currently, Katya is being kept in the hospital, and she still has nowhere to live.

If any of the readers have the opportunity to help Ekaterina, you can personally contact Natalya Moskvitina, the leader of the Women for Life social movement. The movement she created is not a charitable organization and, unfortunately, does not have the opportunity to provide regular financial support to women.
