Human life is a series of joyful and sad events. Sometimes adversity strikes completely unexpectedly. Sometimes a bad period in a person’s life can begin gradually, gaining momentum over several months, and sometimes even six months. It is important to know that both bad and good periods are destined to end sooner or later.
As it was written on King Solomon’s ring, “This too shall pass.” However, even despite understanding these simple truths, a person is still unlikely to be satisfied. Few people voluntarily condemn themselves to suffering without wanting any benefit for themselves.
Happiness is also a rather relative concept. How often can you meet a person who, from an external point of view, has everything to be happy, but is not satisfied. Moreover, external success can ruin your character, relationships with loved ones and, in the end, leave you broke.
All this relates to the external side of human life. This side receives the most attention. However, besides this, there is also an inner life, which is no less important. One aspect of inner life is prayer.
How does it work?
Throughout life, a person pronounces countless words. However, these words do not always help him. A prayer, said sincerely, can change your whole life. It acts invisible to the eye, influencing the subtle body of a person.
After all, all events that happen in life are first formed on a subtle, invisible plane. By acting on it, prayer can instantly influence the situation.
In addition, in cleansing prayer it is much easier to forgive offenses and understand the actions of other people or the situation, because it gives strength that is usually lacking. And a person who is not eaten up from within by the bitterness of grievances and disappointments has a strong psyche, perceives troubles more calmly and has better health.
In prayer, a solution to a previously dead-end problem often comes, because when we try to solve something on our own, we use the resources of our own experience and knowledge, which are limited. But in prayer we connect with God, and he is limitless by nature and by grace can give the right solution or understanding of the situation. Such a connection can also be called intuition.
Are there miracles in the modern world?
Why do we hardly see miracles of healing in real life? The answer is very simple. Those whose names are widely known to a large number of people are the least free to choose their life path. These people are usually afraid to change the way they think. The higher you sit, the more painful it is to fall. Those who have learned from their own experience how a healing prayer manifested itself in a visible effect in real life, speak little about this miracle. This is a natural reaction to a real miracle. Friends see in what happened an element of chance, a happy coincidence, and so on. Patriarch Kirill, when asked about faith in God and miracles, answered that if a person does not believe in God, then even if an angel appears in front of his face on Red Square, he will consider it a hoax, hallucination or trick. Yes, God doesn’t really need to have as many admirers as possible. This is not network marketing.
What does a prayer that heals all illnesses sound like? “Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner.” Prayer is not a conspiracy, not a mantra, not a unique combination of sounds and words - it is a conversation with the One who gave us life, who for the sake of our salvation became man in Jesus Christ and through the death of his Only Begotten Son on the cross, opened for us the path to salvation and happiness.

It is best to begin prayer in a humble state of mind. One should be focused on the meaning of prayer. Everyday thoughts will most likely distract you from the process, but you shouldn’t get upset, the main thing is to re-tune into the meaning of prayer each time, and over time there will be fewer extraneous thoughts. When a person feels the taste of prayer and the happiness from it, it will be easier for him to drive away extraneous thoughts. After all, we don’t have such a problem when, for example, we think about buying some thing we really like, just like when we are in love, we always find time for a date;- It is best to pray early in the morning, you can start as early as 4 o’clock. This does not mean that you cannot pray at other times. But the morning hours (especially before sunrise) are the most favorable, since the bustle of the world cannot yet distract a person from the essence of prayer; this time is specially intended for communication with God. In addition, a prayer read in the morning helps to recharge with a positive attitude for the coming day;
- During prayer, a significant role is played by the position of the body in which it is pronounced. It is best to pray sitting on your knees (on your buttocks), while bowing to the image of a holy person or a sacred object of your tradition. This practice greatly cleanses the heart of negativity and develops true humility. In addition, concentration of attention is increased by such poses as: sitting on your knees, kneeling, standing, lotus pose, butterfly pose. In this case, it is advisable to make as little extraneous movements as possible;
- It is especially beneficial during prayer to listen to how holy people or those who already have more experience in prayer pray. Listening to them pray, a person adopts their mood of serving God, this sound clears the mind, and it will be easier for him to feel the joy and taste of prayer. The sound of prayer is spiritual in nature and therefore has limitless power;

An allowance should be made for the fact that a person is not always able to follow the rules. Then it is better to pray as the situation and internal possibility allow. If you don’t have the strength to pray at all, you just need to listen carefully to how others pray.

- most often the problem is that the person did not make enough effort in prayer and did not devote himself enough to God. How does prayer work?
Any external manifestation of a disease is always a consequence of invisible processes that led to the destruction of one or another organ. Let's say you have a toothache.
