The Holy Heavenly Powers are Divine powers that are not subject to human control. Initially, they were called the heavenly army, later - Deities, mystical forces.
Saints live in a spiritual world, invisible to ordinary people, illuminated by the Divine light of the Lord God. The veneration of the Heavenly Powers in Christianity is as ancient as the Church itself. Their ranks are divided into 3 hierarchies: highest, middle and lowest. The highest hierarchy includes Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones. The middle hierarchy consists of the following ranks: Dominance, Strength and Authority. As for the lower hierarchy, this includes the Principalities, Archangels and Angels. All ranks, without exception, have a common name - Angels, which translated means “messenger”, “messenger”. The bliss of Angels lies in the fact that they, like pure light, see God, enlighten those lower in rank, and serve humanity in needs (both spiritual and physical).
